I am working on my pre-nursing requirements. Mr. Ford is one of the best teachers I have had so far. He actually cares about the students. I didn't do so well on my first exam and he sat and spoke with me about how I could study more effectively. Just took my second exam, and I felt great about it!

Mr. Ford provided clear guidance on what would be covered in exams and provided resources to prepare for exams. He has a very personable style and will answer questions that come up during class. Sometimes his tangents kept us from covering all the material. We ended up with a lot of material to cover in the last few weeks of class.

Awesome professor! Great at answering questions. Makes tough material much easier to understand and testing as well. Only downside, could improve time management, we were slammed with tests towards the end of the semester. But otherwise a great teacher, highly recommended!

He covers all the topics that you need for the course. Very helpful and nice prof. the exams comes out directly from his notes.I enjoyed his class even the course Bio141 is hard but If u do well in exams, you will easily pass the course with good grade.I would recommend him.

I've had a A&P prof. who just lectured, no jokes, stories, funny videos, or life lessons, and it was like trying to insert a brick through my forehead. Prof.Ford keeps you interested instead of droning on a heavy topic. He has a lot of online resources that are really help. Very easy to ask questions.

Great Professor, he deff has a gift for teaching. He is very strait forward with what will be on exams. His only downfall is that he is a little disorganized. We ran out of time at a lot of material was crammed in at the end of the semester. He also failed to e-mail us when our class was cancelled. But overall I would deffinately reccomend Mr.

He's a great teacher. Just study for exams using his website and come to class to know what written questions will be on the tests. He not only teaches you about anatomy but there are a few life lessons thrown here and there. Study for the LAB. STUDY! I got an A.

he is an amazing teacher but a little too easy. the class knew every single question that would be on each test, so it was more memorization than actual learning. i do like that he uses the lab as individual study hall because i don't care for required hands-on lab time. overall, he knows his stuff, but the class could be more challenging.

Mr. Ford is a great teacher. the A&P website that he created is excellent, the on-line practice quizzes and exams are very user friendly, and the powerpoint presentations are very helpful. He is funny and clear. The only drawback to last semester is that he is very busy and was motivated to end class early, but otherwise EXCELLENT.

Professor Ford is a great teacher! He is very understandable and explains things you are confused about. It's not hard to get an A in the class. All you have to do is study and when it comes to learning the bones and muscles, make sure you start to study when he tells you to. You really can't go wrong in this class!

Mr. Ford is the best AP1 teacher at NOVA! The course material is hard and a lot of memorization is required, but Mr. Ford explains the subject matter well and his expectations are always clear. Lecture exams are predictible (no surprises) and there is extra credit. Lab practicals are difficult, but you can get an A if you start memorizing early.

OMG,Mr Ford is as easy as ABC.He makes the class interesting and gives u all the necessary infos.I wish he will teach 142.You just need to follow his instuctions and u will definately get an A. The best teacher ever. Good for all learning styles. He has all his classes on video to review later, power points, and explain all clearly. Study when you have to, this is not an easy class if you do not study, tons of memorization for practicals. The lecture test "no surprise" all from lectures. Take him you wont regret. Nice guy, makes info accessible, but gets far behind schedule w/too many stories and then crams in exams w/o much time to study. Exams are based on question bank from his website, and not always on stuff learned in class; rote memorization of answers is not the best way to teach. Still, Easy A, but concerned I'll need to do extra work for A&P II.

Professor has the best interest of the students and wants students to succeed. He doesn't lecture from textbooks but instead has power points and other resources that are available to students that he tests from. This is convenient for students struggling with money issues. The professor teaches the material very well and is highly recommended.

Nice guy, tries to make the course easy for everyone to do well. However, lacks time-management skills, tells too many stories/shows videos that waste class time. Had to cram in a lot of extra work, and did not fully lecture on the last topics. Easy grade if you are reasonably intelligent and excel at rote memorization.

The best professor I have had to date. He has almost all of his lectures on video so you can watch them when you want, exam reviews, and gives you copies of all his notes. He really uses technology, posted exam schedules on Google, etc, you can take the exam on a computer or phone in class. Take him is you can!

There was no syllabus. He will say when the tests are on. Everything is technological. Practice quizzes/tests helps a lot in so many ways. He made my life easier. BEST PROF EVER. Too bad he does not teach Bio 142 :(

Professor Ford made what I thought would be a scary class, super fun! I'm sort of a "lifer" student and this guy knows how to teach. I'm walking away from A & P I feeling very prepared. Word to the wise-- this is only an easy class if you put time into it. An "A" is certainly not handed to you by any means.

Mr. Ford is the best science instructor I have had so far. His lectures are so helpful and he also has lectures online so that makes it easier for students to study and practice questions outside of class. He is fun and it is hard for you to get bored during his class.

He is prepared on his lectures before starting class and is very helpful not only about the course, but also in every direction. I have never seen any professor putting to much effort to give his students tans of information not only about the subject but also about any aspect of life. Prof. Ford is one of the rare teachers that actually created his own curriculum. He has integrated tech into the classroom to such an extent that it makes learning easier. Mr. Ford is great. He is the only professor I have EVER had that has all of his lectures available as videos! He is funny, and really knows his stuff. The best part is when I go to A&P 2 I can watch the stuff he made for that class, even though he isn't teaching it.

Although this class was not an online class, Mr. Ford offered an online website that he created him self for his students. The website is very helpful has full lectures. Mr. Ford is awesome teacher, he helps with everything and prepares you for quizzes and exams. As long as you are studying, you will have no problem succeeding this course.

I didn't rate him while I had him. All I can say now, is having taken someone else for A&P 2 and the fact Mr. Ford is no longer up here.....I MISS HIM!!!!! So do the others in my class who had him last semester.
