Dr. Goode is a great teacher. Be prepared to study a lot and he is the only professor without multiple choice tests. He tries his best to help students and he wants everyone to succeed! The extra credit towards the end of the semester can raise your grade from a C to a B+ or even an A.

Dr Goode is amazing! I had him for 111 and based my schedule around his 112 class because he is such a great professor. He's helpful with office hours and is also relatively clear. He doesn't just tell you how to get the answer he shows you the way to solve the problems. I loved his tests and there is a lot of extra credit.

Dr. Goode is a great Prof! He tends to go off on random tangents during lectures, but his exams aren't too bad if you study and he will meet with you as much as you want/need. He is a good man and really cares about how you do, I would recommend him if you really want to learn Chemistry. He isn't an easy A, but it is doable!

Had Dr. Goode for two semesters, and after both I can say he is one of the better professors USC has to offer. He is extremely enthusiastic about chemistry and learning. Exams aren't necessarily easy but he is very good at explaining difficult concepts, and offers a ridiculous amount of extra credit throughout the semester. Strongly recommend.

Dr. Goode is an exceptional professor and guy. He cares about his students and if you show interest and enthusiasm (and miss less than a couple of lectures) then he will meet you half way. You either love or hate Dr. Goode. Taking AP Chemistry beforehand helps. He is sometimes unclear in his lecture, but if you ask a question he will slow down and answer. The required online OWL homework helps. Labs are okay, depending on your TA. Does demos and podcasts all his lectures. Holds two exam review sessions before each exam.

Dr. Goode is a great science teacher. Does in class demonstrations and is always available to help. He is even pretty funny. Class is manageable, the difficulty comes from the material covered not Dr. Goode. Tests are tough but if you prepare a decent amount and go to his reviews you can easily get A's. He actually cares about his students.

Study ALOT for tests, they are tricky and essentially determine your grade. Read the chapter in the book before lecture.
