Dr. Marler is an awesome. His lectures are fun and entertaining even when speaking on hard topics. His TA's are excellent graders on assignments and essays. They leave clear and concise comments on canvas. His quizzes and assignments are easy and are based on topics covered in class. His also available outside of class for additional questions.

Marler is one of my favorite professors I have taken so far. As long as you go to class you will do well. I'm not going to spoil the class but he wants you to pass so don't worry going into it. If you put the effort in you can easily get an A.

He's a very great teacher, his class is very easy. Attendance is not mandatory however I do suggest that you go to every class because on the quizzes (which are 6-8 questions max.) the questions are based on the two most recent lectures. Lectures may seem boring, but you'll pass your exams easier if you take notes on paper or electronically!

One of the best classes I've taken, assignments, quizzes, and exams are all due in class so no homework, and they are all based on his lectures. I never bought a textbook and got a good grade, attend his lectures listen, and write notes and you will pass this class easily.

Very easy class. Pay attention to lectures and take notes. Quizzes were very easy, exams were just like quizzes but longer. He goes over the free response questions with an assignment before the exam (which is basically you answering the questions and get feedback) and you can use that to help on your exam. Prepare to buy scantrons and bluebooks.

I like him as a person but man was this class boring. It wasn't interesting at all and very lecture heavy. Doesn't really make his lectures interesting so it's very easy to zone out. But if you're good at paying attention through boring lectures then the class is an easy A. He even gives answers at the beginning of class before an exam/quiz.

Overall this class had been one of the best I had taken all semester. I would 100 percent recommend Professor Marler. He cares about the performance of his lectures. He is very open about his quizzes and test. As long as you go to class to get the notes and the study guide it is impossible to fail.

Extremely nice professor. He tends to get quite political and seems to be left leaning but is very respectful, his anecdotes are hilarious, and the class is extremely easy to pass.

This is such an easy class. There are 6 quizzes and 6 assignments, and he drops the lowest score for both. There are 3 exams. He has exam review before each one, and he gives the answers to the essay questions. Attendance is not mandatory, but you should probably go, but I lowkey skipped a decent amount. He is super sweet.
