Teachers through lectures and visuals and does well with that. I understood most things after i left class. The online aids he uses are a big graph heavy which for me was a problem. Always knew when tests were, and there was never anything on them we didn't go over in class. Overall a great professor that I would take again.

weekly homework and at least 5 quizzes through the semester! very lecture heavy so be prepared to take notes! most of the content for the homework is from the textbook, but overall he wasn't bad! not sure if i would take again only because it is so lecture heavy, but it's not too boring--he'll crack some related jokes here and there!

Scott is knowledgeable and caring--I recommend taking him! Take advantage of his online office hours to discuss Quizzes and Homework. I suggest doing the Extra Credit if you want a little more peace-of-mind for the Final Exam. Bottom LIne: He'll give you a run-for-your-money (challenge), but he is so nice--and you'll come out richer for it.

I was determined to take Scott's class "in-person" because of these rmp reviews--I can confirm now that is true. His lectures are the most amazing and interesting part of the class--you should not miss them. He is so smart and very interactive, asking questions and welcoming questions from students. He is patient, caring, and gives great feedback.

This was basically a self-taught class. One homework assignment a week and a quiz every other week on the last two chapters. One comprehensive test at the end of the semester. Pretty easy class.

It's a straightforward class. One (sometimes 2, rarely) homework a week. Quizzes every other week are timed with 25 questions, worth 100 points (5 quizzes in total). Comprehensive final at the end (50 questions). Has you take the homrworks, quizzes, and final at home. Honeslty a self taught class but his lectures were good and informative.

No lectures, you pretty much read the chapters on your own. The class consisted of a weekly homework assignment, a quiz every other week, midterm, and final. No extra credit. You get what you get.

Amazing professor! I just loved this class. Took the macro and micro classes with another instructor and it was all math and graphs but this class actually talked about the real world. Not an easy A but worth the effort. He is one of the best instructors on campus!

A nice guy & willing to provide feedback. Didn't enjoy that his online winter course was 100% through McGraw Hill, it's not a forgiving platform, the content is written horribly considering it was $100+. !! NOT AN EASY A !! and the quizzes worth 50% of your grade has many questions that are hyper-specific to the reading (hence not googleable).

He's awesome. I had him for Econ-120 and Econ-121. He has one HW assignment every week and a quiz due every other week. Applications from the lecture are usually EC. He also sometimes goes on tangents but they're very educational and hilarious to listen to.

I love him. Economics is probably my least favorite subject ever, but his lectures are so engaging that I'm actually starting to care. I've caught myself thinking about "opportunity costs" in my day-to-day life. He's incredible at what he does.
