Greatest Math teacher I've ever had. Despite my difficulties in comprehending math, he made it so clear and so easy to understand, I totally A-ced his class!

This guy is the man. He gives extra credit after every test. Take him.

This guy is always in a good mood and very down to earth. He is willing to help out every student. The best part was that he gives an easy opportunity to earn 10 extra credit points after each test. That will boost you up a grade. Best man teacher in Cerritos. That's my opinion.

MR O'NEIL WAS A GREAT TEACHER. ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS PAY ATTENTION AND DO THE STUDY GUIDES. IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH MATH I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM BECAUSE HE REALLY DOES CARE ABOUT YOU LEARNING THE MATERIAL AND PASSING THE CLASS.

Best math teacher in the world. Explains things with ease & clarity. Organized, efficient, extremely hot, always in a great mood and very approachable. Tests and homework are challenging but fun. Never puts students on the spot. Seems to love his job which in turn makes for the best kind of teacher.

Great teacher. Before taking his math class, I had trouble understanding math, and when I took O'Neil, I actually began to understand it. He does go fast, but if a majority of the students have trouble with a section, he will slow down. He's pretty helpful if you ask him for extra help. Very cool, lay back teacher. Always has stories to tell.

O'Neal is one of the best math prof. I ever had. I've always been a 'tard when it comes 2 math & he made it easier 2 understand. He gives a good amt of HW but doable. He gives xtra credit after exams & does teach rather fast but he tells u in the begining 2 let him know when 2 slow down. I was lucky 2 have him for 20-80, so totally take him.

He is a wonderful math teacher. If you ask why he will give you an answer. He really loves math and makes it easy to understand it. If you ask for help he will give it to you. Just make sure you do the homework and ask questions about anything you might be stuck on. THE BEST MATH TEACHER!!! ps. He is Hot!! VERY SEXY.....

O'Neil was by far the best math teacher I've taken at Cerritos College. I never used to get math until I took his class. He explains the material so clearly and his exams are very easy. He always offers ten extra credit points after you take an exam to boost your points up some more. He is an awesome teacher!

final is hard is base almost on everything. he is a good professor but he grades hard. he takes points off for any little mistake.

Lots of homework: doable/no study guide/no prep for exam/whatever was on the homework can or will be on the test.. He does go fast and crams a lot of info in one class meeting..it will feel like alot if your math isnt too good(that was me). But I did end up with an A. U get an extra 10 points after exams if u fix ur mistakes.

Great teacher extremely helpful with great ways to use math in your everyday life. Do all the homework and you will do great on the test because tests come dirrectly from homework assignments. Great energy for a teacher!

No exam prep. YOu have to turn in 4 folders that are checkd before each exam..that have homework(plenty of it but doable)if you Procrastinate you wont do well on the tests. Homework is the tests. You get 10 extra credit points if you fix your mistakes. Dont miss lecture or you will be lost.He covers alot of info! NO STUDY GUIDES!!

I never thought I could get through math but he is so great I passed with a B. Don't get scared away by the no study guides and hw and the only take him if ur goood at math i was never good and never interested but he completely changed that...Take O'Neil!

I think Mr. O'Neil is by far the best math teacher at Cerritos College. Granted I got a D in his class but it was from laziness not because it was too hard. I strongly suggest taking his class. The only problem is (which I had) was that you have to do all homework and study for exams. He was just great, a really nice person as well. Great class!

I was in cerritos college and now i moved to antelope valley college, i took "the best teacher" here on entelope valley college and i am struggluling with this teacher.I if was in cerritos i'd take him again. I am currently in mr o'neils class at cerritos college, He is by far one of the best teacher's i have ever encountered. The way to learn math is to understand how it all fits together and he does a great job at explaing just that. He is also very easy on the eyes.. great smile and great demeanor...hottie!

For Math 80 O'Neil is tough. Your grade is determined by five exams, that's it. Homework is not collected, but test questions come from the homework. He is a great teacher, but if you have any difficulty with exam pressure, avoid him. Otherwise, he's clear, funny, answers all questions, and takes his student's progress very personally.

best teacher ever!! the onlything is that he grades test only NO home work which totally sucks to try to pick up ur grade in case u need to but either than that he is funny and a good teacher.

Professor O'Neil explains everything well, I had nearly perfect attendance, did all of the homework and got a B in his class. Your grade comes only from test. So you have to do well on the test to pass the class.

Pretty cool teacher. Helps understand math. But the things that suck is that he does not offer any extra cradit, so if you do not get good grades in the test too bad you wont pass.

well so far this teacher is fun and once ur in the class you learn fast but if you where a special ed KId and cant remember and doesnt do well in test i RATHER NOT TAKE THIS CLASS because this class was hard for me way too fast and hard again but he teaches really well explains pritty good and he's a funny teacher and i can actually understand him

Awesome Instructor! Highly recommend to any student! I took him in the summer (9weeks) and I passed! YOU JUST HAVE TO DO YOUR HOMEWORK! he has passion for what he does! I hope to take him again in the Spring of 2010

Mr O'Neil is a good professor..he really knows his stuff.you have to do your hw..hes a really hard grader though so you have to make sure your hw is completely ACCURATE..hes a great professor though!

He is an amazing teacher!! He's very thorough and clear. For someone like me who has had such a hard time with math, he made it understandable and fun. He's so funny and sarcastic.

Your grade is based on your test scores, no quizes, no review sheets (your hw which is not graded is your review). If your strong with math go for it if not I wouldn't advise it because there is nothing to pad your grade.

I took him for 40 and 60. He was THE BEST math teacher I have ever had. Do ALL the homework and the tests are cake; questions come from the homework. He's very clear and doesn't mind answering your questions at all. I received a B and an A. If you're lazy and want grades handed to you, don't take this class, I don't want you wasting his time!

Mr Scott is the nicest and most helpful teacher I have ever had. Do your homework and you will pass. All test questions Coe directly from the homework. Wish I could take him again, he's hot and sexy.

very funny and great teacher. there is no study guides for tests but your test is your homework questions. He always goes over any questions you struggled with in your homework. midterm into the semester he lets you know what your chances are of getting an A, B or C. i would take him for any level of math. Took him for the summer and it was great.

Had to take this class as a refresher (last algebra class I took was 25 years ago) and I am extremely impressed with his knowledge, excitement, and enthusiasm. He focuses on teaching us the basics the right way the first time, exactly what we need. I feel confident that I can go on to harder classes now knowing I'm solid in my fundamentals now.

Teacher is great! I was struggling but he was willing to help to get me on the right track! The best part of his class is for the final we were set up in groups of 4 and were allowed to help each other. Not sure if that"s considered cheating, but who cares, I got a "B"! Take his class!

Cool teacher!! His lectures are crystal clear. Even though the homework not graded, still do them so you can understand it a lot better. Tests are not that hard. You can pass it without a problem as long you don't pull any bonehead move.

Best math teacher I've took so far. Do the optional homework he assigns and study hard before tests and you will pass. Don't let the rumored group final fool you. He might do it or he might not, don't take him just because of a rumor, just Do your homework the tests are the homework.

I am usually bad at math yet took him and passed. His tests are FROM the homework and his final was in group and the questions were from the past tests. I would recommend him highly, just do the homework and know how to do the problem, he is a really good teacher and really funny

One of the best teachers at Cerritos College. He explains problems in a logical way so you understand it and not just memorize it. Never understood the concepts until he explained them perfectly. 4 tests and a final. make sure you do the optional homework and study for the test and you will pass for sure. good luck.

If you fail this class. You did not study, plain and simple. All test questions are from the book. Usually he picks the hardest ones but if you work at it and attempt the problem he will give you at least partial credit. Show up everyday because if you miss the lesson you will not know how to do the work.

Get ready to do a lot of homework. They aren't graded but all of it will be on the final, so that's your studying! He makes things pretty clear. The only con there is, is that he sometimes talks too much about his personal life at the beginning of class... Some people don't mind but if you're being paid then use every minute to help us! Don't skip!

he explains the problems throughly, he continues to explain if he sees that students are not getting a particular problem. There is a lot of homework (no points for it) but those problems are on the test. If you do the homework you will pass the tests. He does like telling personal stories (which I dont mind because some are funny)

He is my favorite professor so far, took him for Math 60 and again for Math 80. His class is only based on the 4-5 Tests he gives. Sometime he lets you take the tests in groups. Also, he doesn't collect the HW but i suggest you do it just to practice because all his test questions are from the book

Dr. O'Neil was a great professor and cared about his students. He gives lectures pretty much every class so be prepared to listen. We watched a few movies throughout the semester and did discussion boards. The final project is worth 40% of your entire grade so every assignment needs to be a well enough grade, but he is pretty generous.

Everyone's just upset that this professor isn't handing out A's like some of your English professors or letting you cheat like some of your Biology ones. "GeT ReaDY To tEAch YoUrSeLF" yeah that's called studying, you're gonna have to study. Maybe if you actually asked questions during his lectures he wouldn't go off topic as much.
