Brother Woodward is a kind person, and makes everyone laugh! He is extremely animated in class, and is entertaining. The homework and little reflection questions after each class are not too bad, but the synthesis quizzes are hard and heavily graded. Although it is his first semester at BYU-Idaho, maybe he is just figuring some things out!
Brother Woodward is great! He makes funny jokes and he knows a lot about the material and you tell he spends a lot of time putting his lessons together. He is also very understanding- I missed the midterm exam and he let me take it even after it was locked. Highly Recommend
Brother Woodward is ok. He has 3 stupid long exams though, and expects you to understand and explain the gospel exactly the same way he does to get credit on the exams and final paper. Take from a teacher that doesn't require you to regurgitate everything he's giving you if you want more personal and meaningful learning.
Bro. Woodward is a great teacher of Religion. He knows the content and does portray it in an organized and simple manner. There is an assignment after every class to ensure your understanding, and it is not that bad. The tests are a big part of your grade and are pretty long. It is his first semester, and he's doing an amazing job!
Bro. Woodwards class was perfect for me to prep for the temple and my mission and I learned so much, but he is harder than a lot of religion professors because he actually expects you to learn things. If you like to bs your way through religion classes you probably shouldnt take his class because failing is a real possibility.
Brother Woodward really listens to students feedback and will work with them outside of class. The homework and pre class reading was easy. Brother Woodward really want students to understand the material. You definitely get out what you put into the class. I truly gained a deeper understanding of the gospel that has really helped my testimony.
Brother Woodward is a hilarious, super caring professor. He truly cares about his students and only wants what is best for them. His tests have been difficult, but have gradually gotten easier as we have voiced to him our concerns. He takes feedback with grace and uses it to better his course, which I think is very commendable.
Its his first semester teaching but he is by far my favorite religion professor so far out of my 5 semesters. He knows SO MUCH about the gospel, makes it exciting & teaches it in a way that is easy to understand. There short assignments after class and a couple tests that you wont pass if you dont go to class. He is the best highly recommend!!!
He is such a great teacher! He definitely knows what he is talking about and he is hilarious! You definitely need to go to class. He has assignments for every class but I feel like they are really helpful to make sure I remember what I've learned in class.
Great teacher & genuine person. Cares about the success of all students. Provides the resources necessary to complete assignments and encourages learning outside of class. Just put in the work to access the information provided and pay attention in class and you'll receive some serious revelation. Very temple-based studies. Great Reading. Fun class
Don't get me wrong, Brother Woodward is an amazing professor, super funny, and loves what he does, BUT, his Synthesis quizzes are pretty tough. He's looking for very specific details. If you don't test well, I don't suggest taking his class. He also gives pre-class reading homework, and the chapters that you need to read are pretty lengthy.
This has been one of the best religion classes I've taken. Yes, I struggled a little with the quiz at the beginning but Bro. Woodward is great at receiving feedback and the next quizzes weren't as hard. Also, I marked attendance as mandatory because if you miss class you will have no idea how to do the quizzes, however, it is worth going to class.
Brother Woodward is a phenomenal professor. His lectures are both entertaining and insightful. He also posts his slides so you can go back and review for his synthesis quizzes. He is readily available if you need help and is very understanding. I will take any religion class from him because he is that passionate about what he teaches!
Brother Woodward is an awesome guy! He's really funny too. In the beginning of the semester, he gave a synthesis quiz that was really hard. Ever since then, he has re-made the quizzes and curved all of them. He has made multiple changes to make his classes more adaptable to his students. Overall, great professor! He wants his students to do well.
Brother Woodward is such a fabulous professor. If you want to be enlightened every other day and also have fun while doing so, this is the teacher for you. If you keep up with the reading and take good notes, I promise that you will enjoy this class.
Brother Woodward is an amazing professor! You can tell that he really does care about all of his students. He is willing to change his way of teaching so that his students better understand the concepts. He asks his students for their opinions and will take what you say honestly and change to be better. He is also hilarious and makes class fun!
Brother Woodward's class is very well organized. It consists of pre-class readings, attendance reports and reflection journals after class, and unit synthesis quizzes. If you go do the reading and go to class, you will do well on the quizzes. I sincerely feel that my knowledge of the Book of Mormon has greatly improved. :)
His classes consist of pre-class readings (reasonable amount), attendance and reading report quizzes (3 easy questions), insight papers (200-1000 word paper, very easy if you go to class), and 3 tests. In class he makes historical and religious connections that are very interesting and insightful. I'd recommend to people who desire in-depth classes
10/10 would recommend! Bother Woodward's class was the bets part of Monday. He knows his stuff and if you are looking for an interesting and fun way to study the book of Mormon, you will find it here! He is super funny and there were many times when the whole class was laughing! He does expect you to do the reading and pay attention in class.
Brother Woodward is a great teacher! The tests are are a bit hard but he is always looking for ways to improve. He is all about helping his students be the best version of themselves! 10/10 would take a religion class from him.
Brother Woodward is a pretty amazing professor. He's very passionate for what he does, and is very funny. His synthesis tests are a bit tough though, and pre-class reading tends to get a bit heavy sometimes, but he wants you to pass, so he'll work with you if you are struggling and need help. I recommend taking him.
Honestly love his teaching! Great teacher, love the guy! Look forward to class each time I go. The drawback is that his quizzes are ridiculous. They started off outrageously hard but got a little better towards the end of the semester. His quizzes can sometimes opinion based and you have to remember how he describes certain concepts from class.
I love Brother Woodward! He is very organized, knows a whole lot about the gospel, and is very inspiring. I seriously learned so much from his class! He has the heart of a disciple, wonderful experience.
Hands down my favorite religion professor at this school. He makes class so fun and spiritual that i always look forward to going. He knows what he is talking about and always gives amazing lessons. I will never forget this professor.
He is AMAZING at making the class engaging and interesting and he has an animated personality. He makes you want to learn more! The essays are time consuming (and only 3), they are worth it. My testimony has quadrupled in strength. He is all about backing up with scriptures and quotes. Unique perspectives with context, makes you think.
Brother Woodward is amazing and so so funny! I cannot stress this enough: Take his class if you actually want to learn and gain a testimony of the gospel. Yes, you will have to write a few 2-3 p. papers, you just have to put in effort to prove that you're paying attention. He will not hand you an A for simply existing, but it's totally worth it.
Great at teaching, bringing the spirit, keeping the material interesting. Willing to work with you to help you get the best grade you can. Gives papers instead of exams but the papers are not very difficult. Great teacher, plan on taking all the classes from him I can
Bro. Woodward was a really amazing teacher. Was very passionate about teaching and was very good at involving the class with his teaching. You do need to go to class and to do the homework to pass but the homework is relatively easy, he will let you do it in class as he's teaching. One of the best religion teachers I've had.
Brother Woodward has that X-factor as a teacher that he really cares about what and who he is teaching. Part of that means that it is not an easy A, but you will grow in your faith if you apply yourself in this class. He helps his students to become better disciples. 10/10 recommend taking a class from him if you can!
Bro Woodward is amazing! Probably one of the best teachers I've ever had. He is super funny and makes the lectures really entertaining but also interesting. He is more than willing to work with you on your grades. There is a lot of reading every single class but it's nothing too terrible. The final is an essay which is pretty nice. Overall, 10/10.
You can only miss five class periods per semester, but that's not his fault, it's just department policy. He is very funny and easy to listen to. His lectures are engaging. However, there is a lot of reading for class preparations.
Had Brother Woodward for one class last semester and just had to take one of his classes again. There can be a lot of reading some weeks, but it's never felt unmanageable. You can tell he works hard on his lessons and that he's really knowledgeable on what he's teaching. He's also hilarious so that's a big plus!
I took Foundations of the Restoration with him and it was amazing! If you want to actually learn something new then you should for sure take one of his classes. His powerpoint slides are awesome, and he's absolutely hilarious, he knows so much about Church history and doctrines. You'll learn a lot of new things instead of the basic stuff.
Brother Woodward was an awesome teacher. Every lecture was very high energy and he a way of teaching hard concepts very simply so everyone understood. There is a paper due at the end of the semester but if you update it after every class it is easy to get done. He is a great teacher who knows how to teach the gospel in a way that is inspiring.
Brother Woodward is the best! He is super funny and animated during his lectures. There are weekly small quizzes but no final. Only a couple of papers which are pretty manageable. Take his class! You won't regret it!
Brother Woodward is a very good teacher. Most of the time there was a lot of preparation work but doing it really helped you understand what you were supposed to be learning. There's one big paper due at the end of the semester but he breaks it up into three papers with a good outline to follow. Brother Woodward has really good insights.
Brother Woodward is the best professor Ive ever had. Ive learned more in his class about the gospel than I have in all my past religion classes here. He is hilarious and super easy to listen to. I look forward to going to his class every day and have registered take take another class with him next semester. Take him if you get the chance!!
Brother Woodward has the best lectures and really makes things clear. As someone who doesn't have a lot of knowledge of scriptures and church history, he teaches well. Best religion class I have taken here.
Brother Woodward is an amazing teacher and rally puts a lot of thought into his lectures. At first I hated the pre-reading before every class but it gets easier and helps you to focus and follow along with the class. During class we take notes and have criterial thinking assignments every couple weeks, they aren't super hard if you pay attention.
This is my second semester taking Brother Woodward and he's hilarious and cares about you as a person. He gives you lots of chances to get extra credit and is willing to work with you on grades or turning things in on time. He truly wants you to succeed and he is one of the only professors I've had so far that makes me feel like he actually cares
Great class taught by an ever better professor
He's a very good professor, I think I just had a tough time with him, because my gospel view is much different from most people's gospel view, and I felt like he would give me a low grade if I did not respond in the way that he wanted me to respond. He's very cool though, respectable guy.
Brother Woodward not only taught us about world religions, he taught us how to be open minded and tolerant of other religions that we may not always understand. He was caring and loves all his students. If you can take ANY religion class from him, I would highly recommend it! He really became a friend this semester.
Brother Woodward is my favorite professor so far. I enjoyed going to his classes because he made lectures very entertaining. There is one final paper due at the end of the semester, but don't worry about that because it was very easy and 100% lecture based (you have everything you need in your notes) I'm horrible at writing and got an A on it
He graded me unfairly in the final paper. I got an A in the first two drafts, then suddenly got a C on the final paper. I DON'T GET IT when the only changes made in the final paper were basically the footnotes and a couple of paragraphs at the end. Not much free thinking. He wants you to write exactly what he believes not really what you've learned
bro Woodward is an incredibly caring teacher that has decided religion classes should be hard. He has you write 4 essays during the semester which in all honestly arent hard, but they are time consuming. If you are looking for a fun class that you would like to learn the gospel in, this is not te class for you.
Brother Woodward is amazing! His class was by far my favorite class of the semester. He is enthusiastic and excited to teach and he really strengthened my testimony of this gospel. He is super caring and makes difficult things really easy to understand. If you do the readings and pay attention to his awesome lectures you won't have an issue.
I loved him! Yes there is a huge paper due at the end, but it is so worth it. It really isn't that hard, he gives you all you need for the paper in class. I would 100% take this same class again or another class from Brother Woodward. He is so funny in his lectures and makes it very interesting. By far my favorite religion class! Take him!!
Brother Woodward has been my teacher for now two classes, and I plan to take a third from him. I took Foundations of the Restoration, Jesus Christ and the Everlasting Covenant, and I will take Book of Mormon with him. He gives the best lectures, he makes them interesting and funny! He knows a lot about our church and its past, ask him anything!
Bro. Woodward is an awesome teacher! He is engaging and enthusiastic teacher. He has awesome insights about the Scriptures. The paper is hard but you learn a lot!
I love Brother Woodward! He cares about his students so much! He takes his classes seriously, so he expects you to put in the work. But the homework and readings are very relevant and teach you so much! I have learned so much from him and would definitely take his class again!
Brother Woodward is awesome! This is the second class I've taken from him and I plan on taking more. He is a fun/funny teacher and really keeps you engaged. I've learned a lot from his classes and have really enjoyed them. If you don't do the work you probably won't pass, but it's really not that hard, just be responsible. His lectures are fun!
Seriously the best religion professor I've ever had. Like I don't think there's any other religion professor who compares with this guy. He makes religion class an enjoyable and spiritually enriching environment (as it should be). His lectures are always awesome and he has a great sense of humor! Would take him again in a heartbeat if I could.
I wouldn't recommend him as a first choice. He is super fun in class, however, the pre class expectations are very high. Along with what is due after class. There are some religious teachers that have much fewer expectations for out of class work.
Please reconsider if you want to take him. The way he gives out his assignment is utter garbage. He is making students comment on the reading. You are making comment for comment. The stupidest assignment ever. He uses the worst educational way to assess student learning. If you are an educator, you shouldn't do that.
Brother Woodward is a special kind of professor. He uses Perusall to grade most assignments (which has its own flaws, but can be completed in less than 45 min if need be). Brother Woodward, gives awesome presentations, he has a sarcastic funny humor mixed with serious doctrine and testimony that makes, his lectures something special. Enjoyable!!
Brother Woodward is a great teacher. He does expect you to do your work, but as long as you do your work, you will pass. You have a lot of opportunities to learn new things and gain new insights from classmates between classes and the lectures always go more in-depth for explaining things that are confusing. Lectures are always fun and interesting.
Brother Woodward is by far the best religion teacher on this campus. I wasnt able to take one of this classes this semester, and I miss having him as a teacher. His classes are super inspirational and you learn so much about the gospel. You have to write a top 10 paper but you do checks during the semester to make sure it is correct.
The prof is super friendly and approachable. He's an awesome guy. I gotta say though, he bogs you down with extremely mind numbing, redundant and tedious tasks.
Scott Woodward is the best!!!!! His class is amazing. He gives great insight and is hilarious. He does have pre class reading that can be long and you need to comment. I found this helpful because you come to class prepared and can learn from others outside of class. I would highly recommend Scott Woodward as a teacher!!!!!
I have taken Professor Woodward's classes three separate times, and if that's not enough to show you how good a teacher he is, I don't know what else could. He does require a bit of reading and writing but it's nothing unmanageable.
one of the worst prof's I've had in the religion department. Religion is sticky and needs to be done respectfully but he spent the semester preaching the idea that "if you don't agree with this you're going against god" or just saying that non-believers were stupid. even read a bad RMP review and asked who did it and who agreed w it. 0/10
Loved this class! By far my favorite religion course! You will learn SO MUCH. There isn't too much work. A reading before class (between 5-20 pages). There is an essay for every section (6 or 7 sections a semester) but if you take notes during lecture you literally don't have any homework apart from the prep readings. Great class & teacher.
Brother Woodward is amazing! He is the funniest professor and brings the gospel to a whole new level. He runs off the spirit of inspiration and makes learning about the gospel enjoyable and an energetic experience! Take his class!!
I loved Bro Woodward's class. I'm usually not good at staying on top of homework, but his class is structured and you know exactly what is expected of you. His lectures were funny while still being really inspirational. This class definitely grew my testimony and he explains hard concepts so well. I would definitely recommend this teacher to anyone
Brother Woodward is one of the best religion teachers I have ever had at BYU-I. He is super easy to get a hold of if questions are needed outside of class. He really cares about you and your personal life and struggles with church principles. He helped me gain so much knowledge that I did not know. Usual amount of homework for religion class.
Great, inspirational teacher! You have a reading assignment before every class and you submit the notes you took in class after every class so attendance is important. There were 4 critical thinking assignments throughout the class that weren't too hard. No final exam, just a paper. He really cares/understanding so just email him if you need help.
Brother Woodward is very knowledgable about what he teaches and encourages students to ask questions. He brings the Spirit, educates on facts & context while also keeping it fun with some light humor. There is daily prep work and you have to submit your notes in a specific format, but it prepares you for the final paper. Phenomenal professor!
I really wanted to like Bro. Woodward and his "fun" "hilarious" way of teaching, but I just couldn't. It came off as a class where important spiritual subjects were made light of more times then naught, and it felt like he was just focused on being the cool teacher who makes everyone laugh.
10/10 teacher. Respectful of the gospel while making it more engaging, knows his sources and scriptures, super talented when it comes to making lessons and videos, and he invites the spirit so well. If you're planning on getting endowed soon: take this class. Will definitely be looking out for him in other classes as well.
Brother Woodward is amazing! I took 2 of his classes and both of them were my absolute favorite. He teaches in such a way that you re-learn the things you (thought) you already knew and each class is amazingly inspirational and mind-blowing. He's very funny doesn't give a heavy work load. I highly recommend any of his classes!! You won't regret!
Woodward is one of my favorite professors I've ever had. He's hilarious and is always wanting to help his students. Take notes every day and submit those in each assignment and do your perusall reading and you're guaranteed an A. He makes the learning very interesting and you can tell he really has a passion for it.
Brother Woodward is an amazing teacher! His lectures were so great, and I learned a ton. The hardest part of this class was the final paper, but I was able to do good on it because of the notes I took in class. There are no tests, just occasional papers. I highly recommend this class and this teacher!
Brother Woodward is an amazing professor! I have taken him twice now and I enjoyed both classes. It is a lot of reading, but his lectures are entertaining and also inspiring. I felt like he really cared about us students and he would check in on us. Totally recommend!
He is a very energetic and well prepared professor. He clearly passionate about the gospel and how to teach it well. I think that he hasn't forgotten what it is like to be a college student and is very helpful. He is very good at communicating and explaining detail in the homework. Do your homework and listen to what he says. You will do fine.
World Religions with Brother Woodward has been the best religion class I've ever taken! Brother Woodward has a passion for the truth and a love for other faiths, and both come through in his lectures. The online Perusall assignments can be lengthy, but they comprise the majority of homework assignments; no busy work here. Great professor!
I love learning from Brother Woodward more than an other teacher on campus. He is personable, and answers questions so thoughtfully and thoroughly. He is very charsimatic and kind, truly caring about each student and their overall experience in the religion department and at BYU-I.
I loved class with Professor Woodward. He makes each topic interesting and fun to learn about. Any assignments feel quick and easy because of the way he teaches, even the papers. Would 100% take another class with him, he's a fantastic teacher.
Brother Woodward is incredible and so loving! This is the 2nd class I've taken from him because not only are his lectures hilarious, but I also learn so much in his classes. There are Perusall readings before each class and a unit paper due at the end of each unit, but it's just your notes that you took in class summarized. Super fun and easy!
Brother Woodward is literally the greatest religion teacher I have EVER had. He is so caring and kind not only about the students, but also the gospel! He adds just the right amount of humor to keep things interesting, but not so much that it drives away the Spirit. Honestly, wouldn't be mad if he taught every religion class I ever take :)
I love Brother Woodward! I had him for World Religions and I learned so so much that I am so grateful to learn. His lectures were so fun to listen to and so interesting. He has first had experience and knowledge about other religions. There is a lot of reading, but it is interesting stuff. I think we all should read it. 100% would take him again!
Bro. Woodward is SO funny, and makes difficult religious topics easy to understand! He is so kind and a great teacher, I loved his class, and I learned SO much. The workload is manageable: you have no tests or quizzes, and the final is just a paper (that I wrote the day before it was due and got 100% on). The homework is easy too.
Professor Woodward is super cool, always with energy and his presentations are amazing (really cool). Make sure to go and take notes. There is a little lectures before class and and another work after the class ( you can do it during the class.) Overall, he is a really good professor.
Brother Woodward is an incredible professor! He is very knowledgeable and his lectures are easy to listen to and entertaining. 100% would take again.
World Religions is a wonderful class to take and if you can take it with him you will not regret it. A fabulous instructor and a very kind person. I can only imagine he inspires and helps a lot of people.
I don't think I have ever enjoyed a class that actually involved learning as much as I did with Brother Woodward. He was very invested in our learning, and brought a ton of energy to the classroom. There is quite a bit of note taking but all of his papers are pretty much straight from the notes. I would totally recommend this teacher!
It is a writing class. Required to write 5 comments of 40 words per comments before each class on a perusal reading that took an hour. The in class assignment is writing 300 words. End of each of the 6 units we wrote 600 words. He would also open the persualls that are due monday sometime Friday afternoon. The final is a 3 page single spaced paper.
I loved Brother Woodward so much that I need to take a class with him again. He is amazing. The moments when you can go to his office and talk to him are the best. Definitely recommend him and this class.
I am impressed with Prof.Woodward's ability to keep his lectures funny and interesting. Random jokes about almost every religion are hilarious and totally on point but not offensive at all. The only caveat was that he didn't always include credible and diverse sources in the readings. Rather, most of them were from the religion department of BYU.
Brother Woodward was beyond fantastic. I have taken him for several classes. He gives amazing lectures, and provides a crazy amount of extra credit for his classes too. He sets you up for success.
I had a schedule crisis 2 weeks into the semester and had to get into 5 credits of classes. I approached him to try to get into his world religions class and he very generously allowed it. Worked with me to help me come up with a plan to get caught up. Really funny teacher, smart, cool, and the workload was pretty light. Only complaint is perusall.
Great guy, great class. World religions was by far in my top 3 religion classes and I would recommend it to anyone. The only thing I'd change is the amount of homework. 3 Projects that each took me 3 hours minimum, 3 page single spaced essay, 600 word essay per religion(8), 1 hour read per class. Hefty. Maybe remove projects/Make reading optional
He is so awesome! I had been listening to his podcast for a year and was so excited to take a class from him. He is super knowledgeable and passionate about church history. There is a lot of homework, but if you apply yourself, you will learn so much. I would take another class from him in a heartbeat. Lots of extra credit available too. 10/10.
Brother Woodward utilizing teaching theory very well. None of his assignments are busy work; they're geared towards expanding and applying the concepts taught and are very intentional. His lectures are engaging and informational. There is a lot of reading, which most of the time is a drawback. In his class, however, it adds so much.
Religion class with Brother Woodward was fun, spiritual, and very engaging! There is quite a bit of reading but he breaks it down really well in the lectures. There's a long paper you have to submit at the end of the semester, but he also helps us break it down into pieces throughout the semester. I'd definitely recommend!
Not a ton of homework besides readings to prepare for class. He writes the readings, and they are fantastic. Great "lectures" - they're more like conversations. So many extra credit opportunities. I love Brother Woodward's teaching style, and learned so much in his class. He is not afraid to talk about difficult church history.
Brother Woodward is a great guy. But if you are looking for a religion class that focuses on Christ and where you can feel the spirit, this is NOT it. Lectures were very informational, but I felt like a lot of the class focused on what other religions have wrong, rather than focusing on Christ, and how we can find hope. I do not recommend at all.
Professor Woodward makes learning about world religions engaging and fun. His lectures are full of humor and insightful perspectives. While there's a good amount of reading, using unstuck study alongside the textbook can make prep easier. Definitely take this class if you want an enjoyable, informative experience.
Be very aware that if you want to lose your testimony, that this is a great class to take. Brother Woodward focused so much on anti material, and doesn't care about you as a person. He is an old BYU Provo professor so thats really all you need to know
Brother Woodward is a great professor. There is a lot of pre-class reading and the critical thinking assignments aren't too challenging but take a lot of time to complete. If you are also looking for a restoration class that covers anti-material, then take it from Brother Woodward. He is also pretty funny and gives good lectures.
it was a mistake to sign up for scott woodwards class. i hated going to class because of the comments hed make about women and the gospel. dont take his class if you want joy in life !!!!!!
Stellar teacher!! Knows church history inside and out. Makes hard topics feel personal and centered on Christ. Helped me stay strong when I hit anti-stuff later in the semester. Funny, cares about students. N&Rs are quick. Jokingly blunt when people bring up rumors but it's Restoration so you kinda have to be haha. Would recommend to anyone!!!
He is a very passionate person about the gospel and is focused on giving a good experience for all of his students. 10/10 would take a class with him again.
Best religion professor I've ever had. If you're taking foundations of the restoration take it from him!
Lots and lots of homework, brakes down the Gospel throughly. If you are wrong he will let you here it, and correct you. Poor people...
He's amazing, I love him, he knows so much about church History and the way he teaches the lesson is phenomenal. If you have questions about the church, or don't like parts of the history or just about anything. He's your guy. Best class I have ever taken. He's always willing to answer questions
Good dude. I felt like I had a good foundation of church history, but he taught me a lot of things I wasn't aware of. Very good at analyzing the why behind the action. There is reading involved before classes, but I would not say homework is homework-heavy. I would recommend him.
Brother Woodward is so knowledgable when it comes to this stuff and he makes his classes easy to pass. You have to submit your notes every day and do some reading and thats it. His discussions in class are so amazing and I would def recommend him for any class. 100/10!!!!!
I took world religions and foundations of the restoration from him. A bit too much work/assignments in my opinion, but other than that I liked him as a professor. Very knowledgeable. I appreciated that he didn't shy away from difficult topics in church history, and that he encouraged us to find beauty in all religions. Good discussions in class.
So funny and personable, 100% recommend. He does use Perusall, which is unfortunate. However, the grading requirements are clear, and there's no hidden "read %" to worry about. Homework is only ~1.5 hours weekly, and classwork is completed in class. His main assignment, the "N&R" is completed in class and requires quick typing and active attention.
Dr. Woodward is very good at ensuring that the course load is accurate to the credit load. Each class there is a reading on Perusall, and a notetaking assignment, and other than attendance and a reflection paper, that's all that is graded. His lectures are funny and informative; he is very knowledgeable and unbiased about the doctrine he teaches.
Literally incredible! by far my favorite professor. SO FUNNY. He makes it soooooooo easy to get an A, very straightofrward, scheduled assignments, tons and tons of extra credit oppurtunities. Brother Woodward knows SO much about the Restoration, I wish I could take this class again.
TAKE HIS CLASS!!!!! Best professor I've ever had, I read his reviews and almost didn't take the class but anything negative you hear about him is not true. He is such an amazing professor and once you take his class once you'll want to do it again. He is such an awesome professor, 100/10 reccomend
