Awesome professor. Professor Booth is casual but organized. He provides a lot of information but he is not a hard grader. Geography 1 - Physical Geography is an easy class, especially if you stay on top of it.

This was a pretty straightforward and easy class. Mainly uses video lectures, which are enjoyable to watch. Each week is laid out in the same format and easy to follow. Video quizzes and exams are doable, just take your time reading the questions. He loves a trick question. I would recommend this class if you need this as a science credit.

He posted a Canvas with lecture and an insane amount of material to go through but didn't teach any of it in class.I reached out for help, he only agreed with me that the in-person class doesn't match the quizzes or exams. I ended up dropping the class, if you already know some of the material and have a lot of time on your hands you will be fine.

Professor Booth has a very organized online course, and associates every lesson with a chapter from our textbook. He records thorough video lectures. He's also a pilot, so some are recorded from his airplane which I find fascinating and above and beyond. I'm majoring in Geography and I'm hoping to get more courses taught by him in the future.

I was evacuated due to a fire and communicated this with the professor. His idea of understanding was allowing me to take the test the next day, but still knocking me a whole letter grade because "had I not taken it on time my score would have been a zero anyway." Don't take this class if you want a professor with compassion and understanding.

Professor Booth was great. Science isn't my strong suit, but he made the class very interesting and enjoyable. There are weekly quizzes, but as long as you participate in the lecture, they are pretty easy. There weren't too many assignments apart from these quizzes (only random worksheets and the exams). I would definitely take this class again.

I would recommend taking Professor Booth as he's interesting, pretty funny in class, and really takes an interest in Cultural Geography. I would say the only thing to be aware is he has weekly quizzes, which are online. He has 3 exams based on several chapters, but you have access to your resources, like notes and your textbook.

Took an online class with no text book. The materials created by professor were vague and seemed like little effort put in to make (typos, no videos, bad formatting). Most assignments were to search the internet for something without providing any other resources for the assignment. I can search the internet for free without taking a class.

Each week consists of multiple quizzes usually due on Tuesdays and Thursdays, each quiz is like five to ten questions and directly relates to the video lectures. Super easy, lectures are short, some like 4-5 minutes, which I personally appreciate. One short paper due at end of semester. Overall, super easy, informative class!

Professor Booth's class was engaging. The video lectures and weekly quizzes made the content digestible. While not an easy A, I'd recommend using unstuck ai alongside the textbook to ace this class.

I emailed Mr. Booth about a misleading question, he then proceeded to message me back in a condescending manner telling me to actually watch the video lectures. I pointed out in a quiz that it said pitcher when he was clearly using a watering can. Instead of admitting his fault he argued that a watering can has to be metal and that it was a pitcher

I highly recommend Cultural Geography to anyone because Mr. Booth will help you do well in this class. He is super casual, low-key and into his subject. I found Cultural Geog. very interesting, and I'd take this class again if I could.

HORRIBLE professor. Took the California Geography course. Students are required to purchase a packet created by the professor - the packet is jumbled and doesn't follow the material posted on Canva. This makes it it very difficult to follow along with the "lectures" and videos, and to be properly prepared for the quizzes and exams.

I took his online course and really enjoyed this professor, really the only complaint I have isn't even about him, but the geography packet he made us purchase. It was a little >$60 for a measly thin paper packet that I NEVER used. I am very broke and have to put my community college tuition on credit card. Never used it. DO NOT BUY THE PACKET.

I'll admit, my performance in this class was largely due to me missing a lot of due dates in the first half of the semester. In response to my performance, he told me to attend lecture and do better. I personally thought that the lectures lacked an element of engagement and it just felt like being spoken at.

Professor Booth is a great professor in Cultural Geography. I recommend him over other teachers because this class I'm taking is very interesting, and I am learning a lot about geography. We only have a chapter per week, which is easy for a short-term class. So far this class has been easy and I recommend taking it.

God awful, find a better class if you're taking online geography. Awful lectures Awful Feedback Awful Response times ( Missed an assignment by 1 day due to illness and was not allowed an extra day because of his lack of checking emails.) Pretty easy and relatively interesting class, bad instructor.
