Great teacher. Made the class interesting. Helpful. Replies to emails quickly. I took one of his internet classes and it was great. Even the tests were all open book and thru the internet.

This professor is great. The only drawback is the amount of busy work. Tons of writing, a research paper, weekly quizzes and discussion questions, and exams that are essay. If you do all the work and turn it in on time, it's an easy A. Online is great

Good Teacher...took him for online. There is alot of work to do but not to hard, except for the tests. They are essay, but open book and online. All in all not a bad class. If you do the work you will recieve a good grade.

Sean is a good teacher who is always there to help you if you don't understand something. His quizzes are hard and it is not an easy A but it is passable. It is by far not a blow off class and if you think you can pass without doing the work you thought wrong. You need to go online for a minumium of three times a week most of the time more!!!

Easy class, but a lot of work. Every week there is a quiz and discussion question. The tests, although essay response, are easy as long as you follow the guidlines, you'll get a 100 on them. There is a 7 page paper that is hard, but he grades very generously. I wouldn't say an easy A, but with some effort, you can get an A. Good teacher!

Great teacher! He keeps his class structured and uniform reguradless of what class you take from him. He will always help if you need more clarity on anything. Yes there is always a 7- 10 research paper but by this stage in the game, we should all be used to this by now. Wouldn't classify as a blow-off course, but if all the work is completed- A.

Great teacher. A lot of the work can be done online and you will get an A as long as you do all of the work. I wish all of my teachers were as structured as him. The first day of class he gives you all of the work to the entire semester. There are no superises.

This class is fabulous- Sean's knowledge not only on the humanities but knowledge about everything in general is incredible. If you are truly interested in the humanities, take his class. If you are looking for a blowoff humanities class.. maybe not.. although his powerpoints have all the ANSWERS to EVERY assignment.. Overall-> a very good class.

okay honestly I don't know how you people liked him...all we did was listen to classical music the WHOLE class period and he made us get into groups all the time....he was really nice and all but too boring and everything was basically online like the lectures and stuff so we had to go to class anyway and we ended up listening to gay music

There is one paper and you get to pick the topic! He grades SUPER easy on papers and exams. He is so nice and very helpful! Definately take his class!

Mr. DOyle is the BEST teacher I have taken at Moraine. He is very understanding about any situation. This is my second time taking him and he is very nice and extremely helpful. I recommend for anyone to take in, either in class or online.

doyle was a great teacher. super easy. all quizzes are done online and you have a week to do them, and their easy. tests are online. if you need help or have a problem with something he is very understanding and leniant with due dates and stuff. overall he is a great teacher and if you want to get an easy b or a take him.

Mr. Doyle was a great teacher. Tests are take home other than the final, quizzes are directly from his power points, he makes everyone laugh, and knows so much about the humanities. Class is always a lecture so it isn't extremely exciting, but I still think he was a good teacher and would take another class with him.

Doyle is a great guy! His classes are always fun! He loves to put humor into his teaching with makes it even more enjoyable. You'll never leave the class bored. He knows what he is teaching. Everything is done online and take-home. The book isnt really needed because he gives you a copy of his powerpoints..so no notes need to be taken!

Sean is one of the top 3 coolest men ever to walk the mean halls of Moraine Valley. He's funny in a nerdy way which had me cracking up in class. Tests are soooo easy it, the only thing that sucks is the Research paper. Not to mention he looks like Robin Williams in Good Will Hunting.

Had him for Asian Hum. This class is or shud I say WAS hilarious. The dynamic amongst ourselves and Doyle created a comical class. Ez quizes, straightforward exams, and a paper which was not too bad. Overall, I'd take him again with the same ppl. in the class. I still laugh when i think about that class. Doyle is nice n helpful. Easy-going man.

Sean was a Great teacher. Extremely m=nice and helpful. I took the class with my sister a while back and we agreed he was our favorite. I took him again for Hum 102 and learned a lot. You will get an A if you follow the notes he gives and will get at least a 90 on every quiz. The 7 page paper is hard but was worth having him for another semester.

if you are transferring to 4 year school you will appreciate this teacher. This is how college really is. if you really want to learn and prepare for higher education pay attention.

Took him online for hum115(mythology). 10 question quiz every week. group discussion question every week. 3 unit exams (5 questions, 250 words each q.) 1 outline, 1 7-10 pg research paper (pretty easy actually), and create your own myth paper. pretty interesting. only take this class online if you know youll always check blackboard

Great Teacher, has a good sense of humor. I took him over the summer so it was a little intense. His exams were long, but pretty easy if you give your self a good amount of time.

His online quizzers are killer. Don't bother buying the textbook. All the readings are hand outs/ online. He is entertaining but be prepared for work!

He should be teaching at a university!! I learned so much. He is an excellent teacher and he knows so much about his subject and beyond. Totally recommend. If you think you don't like Humanities, you will after you take this class!

If you do all the work, and its ALOT of work.. you will pass. i really think he should teach at a university and not at moraine. but when all is said and done i learned alot from him. Very smart and has a good sense of humor, just dont skip class, do your work and you will pass no doubt

He's the best. Mixes lecture with stories and videos..easy take home quizzes..answers to the midterm and final (just study the answers I got 100% on midterm) and you should come to class because he knows who comes and who doesn't and I'm sure that will make the difference between an A and a B..one paper too but it's not bad at all..and lots of EC!

Sean is a great teacher not because his tests, quizzes and papers are easy if you pay attention in class, but because he genuinely cares about teaching. He inspires his students to participate in class and really study Humanities. Don't take him because he an easy A. Take him because you want to learn and better yourself as a student.

Sean was an excellent professor. He was among the most enjoyable professors I have had at this school. Second only to Dr. Richard Wolf while he was still teaching here. Sean seems to be lenient in his grading. Very funny and he knows how to make a potentially dry subject funny and interesting. Highly Recommended.

Sean knows his stuff. But his exams are absolutely insane. I spent almost 12 hours on an exam, received a D anyways. Had a research paper due, the average class grade for that was again a D. Either he didn't explain something right, didn't give the class enough time, or my class was full of idiots, including me. I would recommend a different prof..

A great combination of an easy class and still learning material. Books are expensive and recommended, but don't buy unless you have an interest in the subject and want to read. Most info is included in handouts and online work. Most grades are online quizzes, exams are all essay questions and online! Put in a little effort and you'll do fine.

I gave a bad rating before and now I feel bad. Sean Doyle is one hell of a teacher, he really loves his subject! Yes, the exams are a little crazy, but once you figure out what he expects they become so much easier. He is so funny, you'll find yourself laughing in his class all the time, all while learning what the school says you should learn. :D

Sean, as he prefers to be addressed, is an excellent professor. He's always there if you have questions, so speak up and get involved. Be aware that he will challenge you! The exam essays and research paper take time and solid effort, but if you do the work you should be on course for an A. Do not miss a class and you won't need the books!

Super boring and loves to look at nude paintings. I felt like i was in a sex appreciation class. Essays that have to be really long on topics that are hard to make long.

Sean is a great teacher and I can't believe anyone thinks otherwise. He's a very smart guy and makes lectures entertaining with his sense of humor. Humanities would have bored me to death if it weren't for him teaching it. Obviously you have to put in some effort, but overall this was not a hard class.

I really enjoyed attending his classes. Really has a heart for what he teaches. Knows you by name after the second week. 1 essay but its really long, 7-9 pages. A online quiz every week but the answers are given in class if you pay attention. He is very specific on his grading. Down to earth. I'm taking him for HUM-102 next spring.

The class has a clear guideline from the first week explaining all your homework assignments, readings from the book, and when test, quizzes, papers are due. If you can stay on top of turning things on time, you'll do fine. Teacher is very quick to respond to questions. You will have to work with other students taking the online course.

Ill admit the class is long and he does lecture the whole time to the last minute of class, BUT he does know what he is talking about and a nice guy, there is a quiz every week that is online and youll pass if you pay attention. The unit exams are long essay answers, of course no one wants to do those but its do-able.

I've taken him for two semesters. Trust me when I tell you that his summer courses are much easier than his fall ones. Summer course is very simple, its all based on test grades which he literally asks for you to state your opinions with a certain number of reasons. I'm an honors student so if you like to slack with work then I wouldn't recommend

I've taken him for two classes, and I love him! He is a teacher who will answer all of your questions and be there for you always. He's SUCH a kind person. Writing in essay form is my strong suit, so I got 97% in his class. He is an easy grader IMO, but only if youre good at writing. Also, you dont use the books at all.

Prof. Doyle is an affable man. He is a really fun guy to listen to, and gives enjoyable, if a little long, lectures. The papers are only tough if you procrastinate.

He is so good. Very knowledgable. Not easy, but not hard is you do the work, which I think you should if youre in college! lol

First half of the semester is by far the worst. You are immediately thrown a 7 page paper, which you'll have plenty of time to do, but it added an immense amount of stress. His tests are LONG and are take-home, but all he cares about is that you answer completely and provide some support to your answers. Great professor, dull class, not a bad time.

Not bad, I will say that there is a lot of busy work, required for the class. He is a funny, interesting professor, but teaching a boring subject. Also, he harshly grades papers.

Mr. Doyle was a great teacher for my Native American Humanities class. He only had 3 Exams, all are online and take home. They consist of 5 questions two parts each and are free response. Basically is your own opinion on the question with some knowledge from the unit and you will get a good grade. Looks for the information used. Got 100% on all.

I personally loved Sean. He was a bit sarcastic but all in good fun. He gave three unit exams, which he gives you a week to do at home, and a 7-10 page research paper that was a little vague on expectations and criteria. There's weekly quizzes but he provides powerpoints with almost all answers. Not a hard class if you're willing to do the work.

I loved him! He loves what he does and it shows. He answers to e-mails so fast and so detailed. This class is super easy. I recommend taking HUM 101 as a 3 week course over summer.

I was really worried about taking an entire class online, but this class was so mapped out that it was so easy! He has everything clearly labeled in the syllabus and constantly updates blackboard with comments that its hard to forget about assignments. He was so nice too!

I took him for native american humanities online. Weekly DB and quiz, outline and 5-7 pg research paper. Stickler for word count!! He also does read through your exams to make sure you stay on topic or points off. I didn't do the independent field trip but still got an A.

I took Sean for hum-101 and hum-102. He is super easy. I showed up late every class (skipped 4 classes). He is super nice and very easy going. Only homework were 10 point easy straight from the power point quizes.

Sean is a chill and knowledgeable professor. Very approachable and friendly. As long as you follow the syllabus and his grading criteria, you won't have any difficulties.

I really loved the criteria of the class itself but also the way it's set up. There is a weekly discussion board on the readings. This is useful because if you're having trouble grasping the material you can look to your peers' responses for help. The final exam is a little fraction of the total points and he offers very easy extra credit.

Such a good teacher. A lot of essays but as long as you follow his rubric, youll get a solid A. Also do his extra credit cause i went from a 86 to a 98 by doing it. You can honestly miss like 6-8 classes and youll still be fine. just remember to do the quizzes online(which all the answers are on quizlet)

Mr Doyle is an amazing teacher. His lectures are well and even though there is papers involved, they help you refocus on the stuff that he taught. His papers have a rubric and the syllabus has every detail on it as long as you follow it you will be fine. Overall, hes a great teacher that cares about his students and teaches in a fun way.

I really really enjoyed this class. The weekly online quizzes were sometimes difficult questions, but the extra credit was a good boost. Lectures are thought-provoking and Mr. Doyle is an overall really nice guy. The exams are essays given a week ahead of time which was nice. Always always follow the specific guidelines and you'll be fine.

I literally did not write a single word or even take out a notebook all semester. There are weekly quizzes which are easy(google, don't even need textbook), one paper, and 3 tests. If you do the assignments, you can get an A. Also there is extra credit which takes 5 minutes and is an extra 8% of the grade. Final is only 20 points, each test is 100.

Professor Doyle is very clear cut from the beginning of the semester so you know exactly what you need to do in order to pass. His assignments were at least a discussion board every week and a quiz. There were also very long essay exams and a few papers but overall, the course was not a deal breaker if you're dedicated!

Great professor. Im not interested in art like that but it was a requirement, there is writing/typing involved but nothing to crazy like a 10 page paper or nothing. Got me to write a poem somwthing i never thought to do. Email him let him know if you are late on an assignment he will be kind enough to not minus late points.
