Dr Fannon is a fair teacher. Though his is bio psych lectures sometime bordered on becoming incomprehensible he understood that fact and took a very patientm self-effacing approach in his delivey of comlex concepts. He grades and takes attendance in a way that gives everyone a chance to pass.

When signing up for his Bio Psych course I wasn't thrilled.I don't like science and don't understand it. His lectures were all on Power Point and talked about amazing (and humorous) subjects! I learned so much from him! More than any other science teacher. He stays on topic and is ready to answer ANY question you have no matter how "dumb".

EXTREMELY ATTRACTIVE!! His class was very easy for me because the online classes resembled the tests, and I love psychology. Class was fun, and interesting. Oh, and did I mention he is REALLLLLY HOT?? Yea, be prepared.

Easy to understand & makes lectures interesting. In class tests are almost identical to online quizzes. It doesn't hurt that he is extremely sexy either :) my only complaint is that he tends to call on the same students A LOT. However I still highly recommend him! Easy A if you do the reading and labs.

TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! Sean made learning basically as fun and easy as possible. The first day we got to quiz him on his life. Gives TONS of extra credit-not that you will need it. quizzes are open book. Midterm and final are extremely easy. get to be hooked up to machines during lab! Made me change my my major! I changed my major because of this class! You definitely have to put effort in to get an A, but it really is easy class. Dr. Fannon lectures on everything you need to know and a lot of the questions for the tests are on the online quizzes. He is incredibly knowledgeable and funny. Make sure to go to class cause he takes attendance everyday and all quizzes are online and you can take them as many times as you want to get an A! exams are the questions from the quizzes so memorize the answers! Very interesting and easy to pass class. Just under 15 online quizzes, all can be taken as many times as needed for 100%. 4 exams, 2 online, 2 in-class, all questions from quizzes. Labs are anything from a cow eye dissection to a lie detector test. 1 point/day attendance. Uses 9th edition of textbook, so don't buy the 10th ed. like bookstore says.

Fannon not only goes out of his way to help those in need, but he's very aware of the subject and where people potentially struggle. He's relatively new out of the PhD field and his lectures are constantly being updated so as to avoid misinformation. He's funny very easy going. The content is difficult, but study and you'll pass.

Took Biological Psychology from Dr. Fannon (both the lecture and lab) and it was an amazing class! He is a younger professor and he is incredibly knowledgeable about the subject matter and makes learning it a fascinating experience. The 2 hardest tests are the midterm and the final as both are in class and cumulative. Would highly recommend!

Dr. Fannon is an amazing person and professor and you can really tell that he loves what he does. Although I was expecting this class to be more fun than it really was, I did enjoy it! It is pretty easy to get an A as long as you keep with all of your work. Exams and quizzes make up 75% (including the lab exam) of your grade so you can't slack!

Professor Fannon is the most amazing professor i have ever had. He puts so much effort into his lectures. Labs are fun, we always got out early too. He has online quizzes for every chapter and you can do them until you get an A. 4 exams which 2 are online. 1 group project at the end of the semester. Take him you won't regret it!

Prof Fannon is one of the smartest profs I have taken during my two years at flc, learn as much as you can from him. His exams are tough but he gives you the materials you need to get a good grade. Take detailed notes on printed slides, go to class, and READ THE BOOK and you will get a good grade. Lots of info, I recommend making a study group

There were no surprises on exams because he used the pool of questions from the online quizzes. I learned so much from the class and I even miss it sometimes (well not the 5 hour lecture/lab part)!

He really wants you to learn the material and is there to help you. There are roughly weekly quizzes that are online that can be taken as many times as needed. There are 4 major tests, 2 of which are online. As long as you do the reading and pay attention in math you should do fine.

The course itself is hard but Professor Fannon does his best to teach it well and he does. As long as you show up and try your best you can pass. There's 2 online tests. The midterm and final are in class. Lab doesn't always go the entire time. Have to learn every single part of the sheep brain and take a lab test on it.

It wasn't easy class but P. Fannon mad it interesting. He's very smart and I enjoyed all of his lectures. Labs were full of group activities. There were 2 online exams , 1 ic class midterm and in class final exam . Quizzes were online and you were able to retake as many times as you want.I wish all of my teachers were like him. I took Fannon's Hybrid Class. I would definitely recommend taking the regular lecture and Lab class otherwise you have to read and study a lot on your own. He does give lectures to watch online and he gives lects in class as well. I just found it difficult to make time to do the work for this class outside of the classroom because I work 32+ hrs

Professor Fannon is very caring and wants you to pass. You really need to use flashcards to memorize the terms and other info that'll be on the test. The chapter quizzes on Canvas are very easy and you can re-take them until you get 100% (very important).

Fannon was an incredible teacher. He made a hard subject as interesting as he could. His class is lecture heavy but it's very clear and to the point. He does random attendance checks which can affect your grade quite a bit but the four tests were easy and two of them were online.

The lectures have a lot of info but you must pay attention to absolutely everything. Fannon is the best professor I've ever had. I've learned so much in his class and credit his teaching style/methods for getting the info to stick in my head. He's friendly, patient, smart, and really makes an intense subject click. The amount of work was overwhelming at times, but I'm seriously impressed by how well I've learned the topic.

AMAZING lectures, but you need to pay attention to the material and read the book Take notes on it! All the quizzes are based on the book and lectures, so they're relatively easy. You can retake them as many times as you want and keep the highest grade. Tests are pulled from the quizzes, making it easy to study. He's also pretty funny too.

one of the best teachers ive ever had. i hadnt taken a science class in 5 years & never a biology class, so i was TERRIFIED to take this class, but its great! his lectures just explain the weekly textbook readings (the textbook isnt a difficult read either), open note exams, nice guy, rly smart, has been teaching the class forever, 10/10

There is a lot of stuff to do throughout the week (reading, tests, lecture), but it really does help you learn the material. Its great for students with different learning styles!

This class (biopsych) was amazing! Fannon was an amazing professor, and puts so much effort into his student's learning. There is quite a bit of homework, but not too overwhelming, and you WILL learn the material. Great lab activities, and lectures were so interesting! I highly recommend his class.

This course requires that you invest a decent chunk of your time, but that's how lab courses go. Professor Fannon's lectures explain everything well, and if you pay attention, there shouldn't be any surprises when exam time comes. He's also got a good sense of humor, which sometimes goes underappreciated. I couldn't recommend his course enough.

Biological Psychology was a great course, although a lot of it is review for anyone with a biology or psychology background. Fannon is an awesome professor.

I used the "Gives Good Feedback" tag because when I would talk to him in person or through email, he did give good feedback. Though if messaging through Canvas on assignments he is unlikely to respond. Also, in the first few weeks he did not really grade anything, but after that assignments were graded fairly immediately. The labs were great & fun.

Professor Fannon is by far my favorite professor I have had. the class is interesting and professor fannon is funny, I really enjoyed the weekly Zoom lectures he made learning the material easier and explained things so I could understand them better. I had Professor Fannon for a hybrid offering of PSYC312 Fall of 2023. He was an amazing professor, and made the topic so accessible. His understanding of the concepts of learning are applied so naturally in the class that you hardly notice it. Amazing lectures, I wish he taught more courses.

Very straightforward and easy for a 4 unit course. Expectations were made clear from the beginning and the class is set up in a way for students to succeed. Hold yourself accountable to the neuroanatomy material throughout the course.

Genuinely loved this class. Lectures are funny and genuinely cares about his students. As long as you complete all the assignments/labs meeting his expectations you will get an A. If taking synch/zoom class version, attendance is mandatory. I gave advance notice that I was scheduled to work during class once, points were still deducted.

Sean Fannon is a really good professor. He gives lots of opportunities to ask questions and come to office hours if you need any help. There are quite a few assignments, but he is a fair grader and can tell when you put effort in or not. He helped me learn a lot about biopsychology and treated each interaction with consistency and care.

Easy as long as you show up to class & take notes. Not a tough grader & grade is almost entirely determined by online tests and quizzes. Only problem is that everytime I or someone else had a question about the subject and it wasn't directly on the slides, he "didn't know", which makes me question how long it's been since he's studied the material.
