This is the coolest teacher I have ever had. He is excellent at communicating his points. His stories ans analogies have me laughing so hard, and kids this is a Saturday morning class, you can imagine how difficult it is to laugh on Saturday morning. 1,000,000 stars!!!!! He is Awesome!!!

This Teacher is amazing. I Love his class and its on saturday mornings. He gives take home exams and quizes, that really help in learning all the infromation for the test. I find my self telling other people stuff i didn't even know i was learning.

Dr.Jennings is AWESOME! He is intelligent, humorous and the ultimate professional. I learned SO much in his class! His teaching style is mainly powerpoint and lecture but he makes it interesting, understandable and funny. His tests are MORE than fair and many are take home. HIGHLY recommend him!

He's really fun, plus he's not bad to look at either, but I am definately able to understand the subject, and he gives you take-home quizes and test, which are pretty easy!

He is way too easy. He gives you study guides before the test, and they are exactly like the tests. On every test, I got over 100. Take him if you dont want to learn anything. His lectures are dull, and he keeps you until you are scheduled to leave. The term paper is rough, so start early. An easy A!

Dr. Jennings is a great professor. I learned so many things that I will be able to put to use outside of school. He uses really interesting examples and his lectures are not boring at all. Take Dr. Jennings if you want to learn psychology and get a good grade.

What a great guy! If you do well on tests and quizzes (and don't miss too many of his classes), then you won't have to take the final. Gives take-home quizzes and exams. Gives out a study guide for tests. Could not be any easier! I wish I could have him for every class. VERY easy on the eyes, too!

I enjoyed this class very much. Jennings is a friendly, funny, and intelligent professor. You'll have a lot of quizzes and tests, but they're not that hard, just read the book. The class itself wasn't the most entertaining, but Jennings makes it interesting because of his experiences as a psychologist. I highly recommend this course.

his test are hard only if you dont study. he gives out study guides b4 every test so it should be easy. He has 2 papers, which are ok. but overall he curves some of the test. If u just study whatever is on the study guide, you will be alright.

Great teacher. He was willing to work with any situation and always understood if something was late because of an emergency. He reminded me of some of my high school teachers because he really wanted to get to know all of his students. Definatly buy the book you use the entire thing. The tests are not too hard just study the studyguides he gives.

He is a really nice guy! Has really good examples and relates it to real life situations; using patients and friends. He stays on one subject way too long. You must buy the textbook! He does not use it in class, but some questions on the tests are from the book. I took it in summer, there was alot of information that was not coverd. STUDY!!!!!!

even if you're l minute late he'll still count it towards your grade. He dropped my grade a whole letter grade just because I was late 3 times. He also makes the corniest jokes and talks about his personal life too much.

Dr. Jennings is an uber intelligent man and is extremely well versed in his lectures. He uses comprehensible examples that make for a fun learning environment. I highly recommend him to anyone, even if you don't have an interest in Psychology. You learn useful information everyone should know...especially parents!!

good teacher i took him early in the AM and never was sleepy in his class always entertaing! describes everything very well you do have to study for his exams not an easy a but very acheivable! most test are online with open book and notes! attendance is mandatory and must be on time! i'd re take him again good profesor just study

Dr. Jennings makes development psychology interesting. He is easy going, approachable, and fair. His tests are not easy, but you will learn the subject matter if you attend class and do the assignments. I personally like his humor; not everyone does, but to each their own. If have good study habits there is no reason to avoid taking his class.

Dr J. is great. He is an extremely intelligent man who really know his material. He made lecture very entertaining with personal stories & jokes. Gives lots of extra credit. Tests are 2 parts-one section is inclass & the other is take home. I'd take him again if i could.

Dr J is kind of arrogant in my opinion not a bad teacher, though. The tests were pretty hard bc of the format of the ?s but if you studied hard enough they werent difficult to pass w/ at least a B. Buy the book, don't forget the take-home tests & quizzes, & don't wait til last min to write research paper. Passed w/"A". May take his dev psych class.

Jennings is a good guy, but laughs at his own corny jokes too much. Even if you study for his tests, you can still fail, because of the way he rewords the questions. Online tests and quizzes, plus the tests we take in class. Not an easy class at all. If you can, take another professor.

He is AWESOME!!! His jokes are not corny and he is not hard as I see some people put. It's only hard if you don't do your work and study. His jokes are great. People in my class crack up at his jokes. I sit in the front row because I find him very interesting. I'm even taking him for my Developmental Psy. class

The class was pretty easy. The teacher dragged on his jokes for to long. Not very interesting, everything is based off the notes he puts up on the projector. Wish we had an interesting project or watched videos, more hands on stuff because the way the material was introduced made me loose a lot of interest in the subject. Gives good study guides.

I had him for Psyc honors. He made me laugh, and he knew how to explain all the material very thoroughly. His quiz's are online, so you can use your book. He post thorough online study guides before every exam, and he has his own practice. He also testifies in court on the sanity of defendants. He a true expert. Take him!.

Great teacher and made class fun. You will do well in this class if you study and read assigned chapters. You will not do well if you do not choose to participate in your education. Big on critical thinking and big on class participation. Definitely would like to take him again.

i think that dr jennings is a wonderful professor. i took him last fall and had to withdraw and when i signed up for gen. psych again he was the only teacher i would take. he is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. he has great notes and i plan on taking him again for any other psych classes i may need. deff a professor to take.

Great professor. Makes a lot of cheesy jokes, but they're sweet-natured and keep the class lighthearted. VERY extensive term paper, but each aspect of it is gone over in detail in class, and he's always willing to go back and explain difficult concepts. If you care about psychology, take him. The man loves what he does and it reflects in his class.

I got an A in genpsych so it's not impossible. Tests are not difficult if you read the chapters and use a study guide. Yes, he does give quizzes before actually going over chapter as he expects you to read and take part in you education. Pretty corny and thank God for that otherwise I might have fallen asleep. Yes u do have to read chps but he gives u a syllabus in the beginning of the semester that tells u what chps need to be read and by when.He also gives u a studyguide that HELPS.it's a psych class,what do you expect it to be like?every class he goes over power points that are already posted in webct.read study go to class u'll be fine.

Dr. Jennings is a great professor. Hes clear on his lectures, and keeps the class enviorment fun. Sure, his test's may seem a bit difficult, but he almost ALWAYS gives a curve..he seems to know where the hard working student wants to go in life, and he's willing to help. drops a quiz and a test grade. quizzes online. great prof. i recomend him.

Had him for General Psych and Dev. Psych. He is a great teacher. He gives plenty of chances for Extra Credit, grades tests with slides, and makes class enjoyable. Reading the textbook is must. I learned a lot with him.

If you've picked psychology as your major and are serious about learning, I recommend you do not choose him. Alot of people like him because he is "funny" but personally, it gets old quick. He will spend the whole class on just three powerp. slides telling horribly corny jokes. His tests are pretty easy. Like to joke around? take him.

If you pay attention in class, you'll learn a whole bunch. His lectures are good, but sometimes he jokes too much, but he makes it fun. He stays strong to his syllabus and guidelines so don't screw up. His tests are easy if you study hard. Definitely need the textbook. Very helpful, and be prepared to do papers.

Professor Jennings was pretty easy if you study and attend class. He gives very helpful study guides prior to tests and although there is a lot of information to study, he is clear on what you will be tested on.

His class is challenging I'm on the presidents list and I worked my behind off to get just a B in the class but if you study hard and stay on top of his work you'll be fine but you will write a lot of papers if you plan on passing and do all the extra credit because he gives curves sometimes so that's a plus.

Not going to lie, his class was tough. The book is very detailed and chapters are really long so it will take you several hours to study. His tests are managable as long as you study well and do all parts of it. He's a cool guy in general but can get annoyed easily so don't piss him cause he will get mad. Can be funny sometimes, and of course, cute

Show up, do the assignments and you will get a good grade. The assignments are not hard, but they are more time consuming than you will probably expect, so schedule your study time accordingly.

Prof. Jennings in AMAZING! I learned more in 6wks than I did in an entire year of AP Psych! he's full of energy and is so excited about what he does.make sure the first thing you do is buy the book!you'll be reading a lot of it! TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! HE'S AWESOME!

Professor Jennings is great! He is extremely knowledgeable about what he teaches. He incorporates personal examples and funny anecdotes to help students understand. I would take all of my classes with him if I could! It is challenging to get a good grade, but the class is so interesting and he is so great, I'm ok with my B.

Tests and essays were tough. I got a B both of my classes w/ Prof Jennings. You must be interested in the subject matter and willing to devote plenty of time to studying, writing, etc. If you are taking this class just to fulfill a degree requirement, choose an easier prof. Otherwise, be prepared to work hard to see results!

Dr. Jennings is a wonderful teacher

This teacher makes his class very interesting with his in class discussions which make the material clear. With that said, he does not give an easy A, his tests are HARD! His assignments are do-able but strenuous. You truly earn your grade in this class. Although he has a great personality the overall work can be overhearing if you're seeking an A.

Prof Jennings is an interesting man. He knows his stuff but you NEED to read to pass this class. He could get pretty corny at times but thats what makes his class so interesting. If you ask him something, he'll tell you to look it up for the most part. His tests are hard if you dnt study but he lectures with powerpoints so it helps

another thing is that he gave out class 2 extra credit assignments. One is to replace your lowest test score and the other can bump up half a letter grade... which is what I think gave me an A. His attendance works on hour based so you can only miss a certain amount of time and there is a term paper which is reading and diagnosing a character

BEST PROFESSOR EVER. He makes the class really interesting and genuinely makes the material fun to learn. He's the one who made me want to major in psych. You WORK for your grade and he definitely isn't an easy A but he is always willing to help you pass and give you whatever extra help you need, plus he gives an extra credit assignment.

Great teacher. Hard class and is a lot of work (quizzes every week) but you need to read the textbook! You can't rely on just the powerpoint notes during class! If you're prepared for the tests, you will do fine. It's a combination of an in-class and online test. He knows what he's talking about :)

One of the greatest ,genuine, and authentic professors I have ever met,not only that he is a great instructor but he is very caring as well. He made me in person develop a very high interest with regards to the course. I would definitely recommend this course and especially under his supervision.

Fantastic and by far one of the best teachers I have ever had. He teaches very well but you will need to work for his class it is by far not an "easy A". Not only is he a great teacher but in his classroom you will learn to utilize your mind, time and critical thinking skills and prepares you for the real world. I highly recommend him.

Assigns a lot of reading but addresses all topics in class, is very qualified to teach and uses good real life examples from his other jobs. Tests are a little lengthy but not difficult, I highly recommend if you have a genuine interest in Psychology

He was one of the best and hardest professor I had so far. He is a good teacher, very funny and has good stories to tell. Very helpful if you feel lost. As long as you do all the quizzes online and study for all the in class test you are surely to pass. Text book is a must use, everything we were tested on was in the textbook and in his lecture.

Professor Jenning's is the best! If you read your chapters you will pass the class. I would definitely do the learnsmart online learning before the exams as well, they helped me a lot. If you miss more then 4 hours of class time you fail. Very good lectures with a whole lot of great stories to relate to. Just put in the work and you will pass.

Professor Jennings is helpful and clear in his lectures. He is also funny which helps you stay awake. I have not one fell asleep from boredom. Whenever I needed help or guidance he is faithful to answer questions after class and be in his office during hours. By far my favorite professor. Also great for developmental psych.

Very funny, he is very willing to help and i love his explanations because he turns it into a joke almost always. His test are pretty hard but he tends to give extra credit and also they have tutors at the school but he is really cool.

Dr. Jennings was the best. He makes lectures interesting, and tries to help students in any way possible. Prepare to read a lot though, because you have to do a quiz before you have the lecture. I would totally recommend him to anyone!

I loved Dr Jennings! He does not give any assignments so your grade is based on how well you know the information and how you present it on quizzes and tests. A 20 question quiz is due online before he lectures about new chapters and only four big exams throughout the course. He makes the class interesting even at 8am. Would really recommend him!

You will be doing lots of reading from the textbook and the class is all powerpoint and lectures, but Dr. Jennings keeps it interesting with his stories. Just pay attention, and read the chapters and there is no reason why you shouldn't get an A. Dr. Jennings provides many opportunities to make up for a bad performance on an exam.

Tbh i miss him! He was one of the best professors i have ever had. His lectures didn't feel like school at all, they weren't hard to follow, and they were so funny and interesting. His exams ARE NOT EASY but he is always there for his students and gives the best study tips to help you get the grade you want if you're willing to work for it.

This professor is engaging, so if you need to have a good time in lecture to pay attention this is the guy. He makes himself very available to his students for questions and comments. Never will you feel shy asking a question. As far as rigor, the work is yours but he makes the test very concrete, not clinical, black and white.

he was so cool. his lectures were so interesting, he really has a lot of experience & stories as a psychologist. i was never bored in his class. be organized cause there are online assignments, readings, and quizzes. we didnt see any grades till the semester was over, so it would've been nice to know what I got right or wrong on assignments.

Dr. Jennings is an amazing teacher. If youre truly interested in the field of psychology take him, if youre not serious about it you will fail. He has his own practice & is highly experienced. Hes not your traditional read book-take test teacher he is preparing you for masters level and doctoral level schooling.

I took professor Jennings for gen and dev psych. His lectures are life alterin;he will challenge every perception you have of this world and of yourself in such a beautiful way. I hung onto every word he said. He's a tremendous professor. He's by the syllabus, and you'll read alot, but he always offers extra credit and he's extremely reasonable.

Professor Jennings is one of my favorite professors! His lectures are always so inspiring and he is insanely hilarious. He has quizzes for every chapter but allows unlimited attempts. He allows students 4 hrs of absence, but it is unlikely that any student would want to miss his lectures in the first place. No final exam. TAKE HIM!!

He was an amazing professor I enjoyed the class . 4 exams out of the 16 week with online quizzes due every week. As long as you study and take the online quizzes your grade will be fine.

I took him for developmental and general 2 years ago. He made me fall in love with psychology. Funny guy, visit his office hours! He does get off topic during class and you have to make up for it at home but if you like psychology you'll find him impeccable! Might seem cocky to some but he knows what hes talking about

His lectures are hilarious and he uses example to help us understand. He doesn't go over all the chapters so you have to read the textbook. There are two parts to the test, online portion, and in-class portion. About 10 quizzes. Your grade will be dependent on how well you do on test. He drops your lowest test grade and quiz grade.

Jennings is a great professor. However, don't take the class unless you're ready to learn and understand psychology. It's not enough to just read the textbook and show up to class. Good lectures, easy tests as long as you understand the material. Def taking him for DEP2004

He is a great professor if you put in the work. He is very knowledgeable and good at what he teaches, but your grade is mostly based on 4 tests so if you are a bad test taker in a short amount of time it might be difficult to bring your grade back up.

Prof Jennings was by far my favorite professor. Hes funny, he teaches by telling stories from first hand experience. He does grade heavy and his tests are not easy but if you study you will do just fine. I looked forward to his class every week.
