True, the tests aren't easy if you only study on the day before the test and the 2-hr-long lecture may be little overwhelming at times. But the powerpoint slides and Professor Seda's clear explanation are REALLY helpful to an easy A. Go to her office hours and she'd be more than willing to help. Complain less, don't skip classes and be persistent

I really love her class. She is just an amazing instructor! I would say many of the students who rate "poor" are not fair. To be honest, Seda's PPT are the best material to study for(I did not have the textbook ). Also, don't skip her classes and remember to do the practice questions every time you finish each chapter. Then I bet you would be fine!

Seda is a very kind woman, and well learned. She has a PhD in Applied Economics and she knows her stuff. Be respectful and she will return the favor. This class is honestly pretty easy. No assignments, just exams and quizzes. She provides practice questions for each chapter, which you REALLY should work on at home if you want to do well.

Economics at USC is a weed-out course to get in the business school and is a tough class, regardless of what kind of student you are. Make the commitments, take the class seriously and the professor will take you seriously. Pay attention in lectures and do the practice questions. Seda is one of the best teachers I had last semester. She is dedicated and passionate about the subject and always willing to help. The class was quite difficult but that is standard across all econ351 classes. Review the PPT slides and do the practice problems and you will do well. Professor Seda is simply amazing. She is able to explain difficult concepts with ease. She inspired me to switch from a business major to an econ major. This is not a class for anyone who is not willing to work hard. Hard work and results have an extremely strong correlation. There is no attendance but missing lectures is a big no.

Microeconomics with Professor Durguner was one of the hardest classes I've ever taken, but with my constant hard work, I was able to pass. Professor Durguner encouraged us students to put in enough effort for the class, and she was always able to answer my questions during her office hours. Micro is a really tough class but with a combination of your effort and Durguner's help, you can still succeed. So, don't skip class because her lectures are very thorough and covers all the material you'll need to know. Also make sure to understand the practice questions and lecture slides. Seda was probably my favorite professor from freshman year. If you go to class prepared and you do the work you will get an A without a doubt. A lot of people complain about her class but it is because she expects a lot of you which isn't a bad thing. Since I learnt AP Econ before, it's quite easy to follow up. Professor Durguner has pretty nice slides and once you really understand the slides, you are half way to top scores. Additionally, she has pretty strict rules in class, which prevent any distractions from happening. Sometimes, however, the class progression can be a little bit slow.

Mandatory class in business school, and her class is clear and specific. Although the tests are tough, there are many review materials and she is there for you.

Trust me, this is the only Seda (or Sena for that matter) review you will ever need. Are you very good at math? Like high 700's SAT, 4/5 on Calc AB/BC. If so take Seda FOR SURE. 3 midterms and a final. Not much homework. If not great at math, look at other options, but even still an A is very achievable with enough effort.

Don't get me wrong, Professor Durguner is fantastic. Lectures and requirements were very clear. Great teacher. Tough in class policies. However, this is easily the HARDEST class I have ever taken. Econ 351 is rigorous but Professor Durguner's lectures made the material easier to understand. She is a caring professor and really organized in teaching the materials. Her tests can be hard, but she explains all difficult concepts slow and clear enough to understand. Her nongraded problems are similar to test questions that should help you do well on tests. I would highly recommend her if you like a solid teaching style.

I really liked this class and I would definitely take it again. Prof. Durguner have very informative lectures. You would definitely learn the concepts in the lecture if you go to class regularly. She is also very understanding in grading; she would consider your development in the class.

Professor Durguner is a great professor. I took her 351 and 306 and ended up really like her. She cares about her students and was willing to take extra steps to help me succeed. 306 is not an easy class, but if you stay engaged in lectures and do her non-graded problems, you'll be fine. Tests are difficult but predictable and her curve is lenient.

Professor. Durguner's lecture is very informative and I would def take her classes again. Her classes can be overwhelming at first and she did cold-call people in class, but she has pre-quizzes and slides to help you be prepared. Her teaching style keep me learning throughout the semester and avoid cramming before exams. Highly recommend!

Prof Durguner is very knowledgeable about the subject and genuinely cares for her students' academic success. Her class is relatively difficult, but it's not impossible. You just have to stay on track, and put in some effort.

Professor Durguner is a fantastic professor for 306. Although the course is difficult, there are plenty of avenues to succeed. Participating in class helps a lot, and Prof. Durguner is also incredibly accessible and responsive outside of the classroom and cares for her students. Tests are hard but, if you do the practice sets, they're manageable.

She's actually really caring and kind, if you consistently listen in class and ask questions, you will be able to understand. She also provides good practice questions. But as a heads up, she made us pay for MyEconLab and learn the content for a pre-quiz before the lecture (where she reteaches the content we were supposed to learn).

A fantastic professor who really cares about her students. A lot of people complain about the class yet never show up to office hours and never do the extra practice. The class is not easy, but if you do all the things she suggests, you WILL BE FINE. Too many people on here complaining over things that are totally in their control.

I'm not sure why people like to claim that the 5 star reviews are fake. If you're good at math, you should take Professor Durguner because her tests tend to be math-focused. I found Professor Durguner's lectures to be relatively understandable, and if you do the nongraded sets and understand them, you will do amazing on the midterms and final.

Since I am not really great at math this course was definitely a challenge for me. I would say to take her class because she does a great job at explaining such a heavy subject. After taking this course I am honestly ready to take on any challenge that this world may throw at me. Her class will prepare you for challenging courses in the future.

She's honestly such a great professor, and she's really sweet. She's very thorough with her lectures and you will learn a lot from this class. As long as you do the non-graded assignments and take good notes during the lecture, you'll do well in the class. I will say, though, that you have to work hard for the A.

Great professor, she is passionate about students learning and understanding. Her lectures are clear and understandable. You will have few group projects and cases during the semester which are related to the real-life. There is a lot that can be learned from her.

Professor Durguner is marvelous in every way. She cares about your learning progress, gives timely feedback, and provides you everything you need to succeed in this class. Sure there are three midterms in econ351, but they are very easy to handle if you just take some time to learn the non-graded quiz she provids.

Seda is a sweet lady. Definitely not an easy A but if you do all the non-graded homework, it'll give you a shot. Lectures drag on but she goes into details on different topics and makes sure to give examples. Go to PAL review sessions before midterms and ask questions on the nongraded. 3 midterms... Get ready to study...

Professor Durguner was a great lecturer and always very respectful and helpful towards her students. When I had a last minute medical emergency for one of the midterms, she was very accommodating. This is far from an easy class but manageable as long as you dont fall behind.

When people talk about that one class & prof that was tough and frustrating in the moment, but looking back gave them their tuition's worth of knowledge, they're referring to this one. Seda gives super thorough lectures and is the most helpful prof outside of class. You will work hard, but if you want to truly learn business this is the pinnacle.

I have now taken professor Durguner for FBE421 and BUAD306. Both classes have engaged me at all times and pushed me to perform at my highest level. Professor Durguner is by no means an easy professor, but if you are here to gain a solid financial base to help you on a day-to-day basis and in the workplace, she is the professor for you.

Great prof. Econ 351 is a hard class but she is a great teacher and provides a lot of material to study for exams. If you put in the work, you will get an A
