Dr. Meziani is a great professor. Despite what others may think, he really cares about students actually learning. He makes an effort to relate the material to real world situations. His tests are fair. Read and do the problems and stop complaining.

everyone writing miserable info is ruining the integrity of this website. ur just not used to a professor that goes beyond the work of the textbook. he takes his job serious and cares for the student. not an easy class but he is giving it his all!

Dr. Meziani is a great professor. I highly recommend him for all the courses he teaches. Economics and Finance concepts can be very challenging, especially when you are learning them for the first time. Dr. Meziani's teaching style makes the concepts real

Dr. Meziani is not the easiest professor, but he is definitley one of the best. He really cares about his students. I couldn't graduate without passing his class, but he cared enough about me to help me graduate.

Dr. Meziani is a wonderful teacher. you have to work hard in his class but it is worth it. i actually learned something in his class. tests are very fair and easy.

I love this professor exams are a give away pratically, the problems he goes over are the ones you'll see on the test. All you have to do is put in your own hard work and it will pay off. He's very knowledgeable, and very nice any questions you have he'll answer. GREAT TEACHER!

You will learn something in this class. he wants you to learn and not just to pass the class with A. He is awesome professor. I am taking it over Sp 05. I havent found any other prof. like him.

This is a good guy right here. I don't know why people are giving him bad ratings. I felt like he cared for me as a student and encouraged students to express themselves freely. He doesn't let anyone put you down for asking any 'dumb' question. I did learn in his class and if you try you will too

Not easy but not all that difficult. Tries to make every point as clear as possible and takes into account various class circumstances to adjust his style. You may actually learn something.

Great Proffesor. He makes sure u understand the material n is willing to go over it till u do. It's not completely easy but if u do the hw and attend each class u'll pass with flying colors!!

Definatly under rated here. Took him for the first time when everyone said to stay away and that he is horrible. I will take him again. Ok theres work involved,and he does like to challenge his students (1st exam), but he is flexible, very intelligent and straightforward. He just gets frustrated at night students (me) b/c he expects more. He CARES!

Great Teacher. Probably the best experiance i've had at the university. He's very fair. Gives you extra credit, and teaches in a very assertive manner. Had 1 project, that you could do in groups, 2 tests, and Problems. I recommend taking him highly if you want to get something out of a class.

One of the smartest, clearest, and helpful professors... You have to study and keep track of the material, just like any other Finance course.. up to 10% extra credit just by going on the board and solving H.W. People saying bad comments about him have no idea what they're talking about!!

Took him for a 6 week class during summer. Too much time wasted on group project. Would have preferred to go deeper into the material than the 6 chapters we covered. Too easy of a grader. Kept the pace slow for only having 12 students in class.

Dr. Meziani was an excellent instructor. The course was challenging but interesting at the same time. I would recommend taking his course to any graduate student especially those studying Finance. The only thing that should be changed in the course would be less emphasis on the projects and to cover more chapters.

Everyone else who is writing bad comment about him should go to a community college. This is the kind of professor who gets you ready for the real world. He teaches you with respect and treats everyone like adults. His class is very interesting and helpful. I would recommend taking him for all the finance classes he teaches.

Here is the story. if you want to learn and make a career in Finance absolutely Take Meziani. He is an Excellent Prof. I still remember his teaching and I use it for other classes. On the other hand, if you are goin in college to party and just sneak the classes by, do not take him. The choice is yours

He's probably the best teacher i've had a MSU so far..and im a senior. It isnt the easiest class but he's so clear and teaches it so well that its not so bad.

One of the best professors at MSU. Tests are based on the homework so make sure that you do it and don't forget to go up to the board to solve the homework problems. Pay attention in class and take down all the notes. Book is mostly used for problem so you will need it. Great class. Mandatory attendance. A+

Overall he's extremely hard. He has a lot of corporate background, and uses it to manifest the idea that the corporate world isn't a joke, and that you need to take school and work seriously. If you form groups to do the homework, and go up to the board for HW problems you should be ok. If you wanna just breeze by, don't take him

Dr. Meziani is the best finance professor I had so far at MSU..he isn't easy and class isn't a joke. Make sure you READ all of the chapters thoroughly and do all of the homework. Goin up to the board is a HUGE plus when it comes to the final grade. as long as you put effort in, you will be fine. If you're a slacker, don't even bother with him.

One of the best professors I have ever had at MSU. Fair, just, reasonable, honest and practical. He is extremely knowledgeable and knows this field like the back of his hand. He is extremely comfortable teaching the course since it is based on his practical learnings as a professional in the field. I highly recommend him.

Is not easy but not impossible to get an "A". Study the exercises from the book and of course read the book to understand the chapter. I loved the class.

Excellent teacher. Challenging class, but if you do your homework and keep up with reading you'll do well. One of the better teachers at MSU. Very knowledgable and shows you how the things you're learning apply to the real world. Takes attendance but do yourself a favor and go to class anyway.

He is just the best! You would learn everything he teaches, and you won't forget what he teaches because u learn by logic not by memorizing.I wish all professors were like that. Man you won't regret taking him!!!

The teacher wasn't bad, when he lectured..He went through the homeworks too quickly.. He should be more attentive to the students especially the MBA students..

I took this course twice before taking the class with this professor, and I dropped it both times. Took the 4wk Summer session, & even for a short course, the professor took his time, answered any questions we had, and reviewed all the homework problems. If u read the material, take notes, and complete the assigned HW u will get thru this course.

He is one of the best Finance professors at MSU. I had him for capital budgeting and I understood almost everything he said. Anyone who said he's not a good professor don't know what they're talking about. I highly recommend him.

Great Professor. He goes over all the concepts in class in clear manner. Solves many examples on the board in class in explains really well. 2 exams + final. You can also get extra points for solving homework problems in the class. No surprises on test - material covered in class and examples similar to the ones in the book. Highly recommend him.

He gives a lot of extra credit opportunity. His exams are everything we go over in class. If you go to class and pay attention to the homework problems you'll do well. You only need the textbook for the homework problems. GET THE CALCULATOR. if you have the calculator the exams will be so much easier.

This professor is an amazing teacher. You want to learn Finance, come and join him and he will teach you and tries his best his best he can. I loved his teaching style. You should expect home work and you will learn a lot.

MSU has picked a hand-full of disappointing finance professors. This guys does not fall into that category. Honestly, he is such an amazing professor. Really took the time to teach important concepts we could actually apply in our future cubicles. Very helpful outside of class as well. Does not get better than him, trust me.

This class was good, the exams arent that bad and is on lockdown browser. Hes pretty annoying with topics as attendance, repeats the same thing, and complains about teachers students and the school. Hes a nice guy tho, he wants you to do well in his class, hes just weird about it. I would take him again because his class wasnt the worst

Take him. Youll learn more in his class than any of your finance classes combined. Is he tough? Yes, but thats b/c he doesnt want to spoon feed you all the answers. He genuinely wants his students to learn, not to just regurgitate the info back to him. Theres no easy way out in finance, so choose the professor that will actually teach you.

His class is a little tough but you honestly learn so much and its worth it! He's my favorite professor and he's so helpful if your struggling

I have a lot of respect for this professor and personally I really enjoyed his class. I think he is very Intelligent and I actually liked that he used McGraw Hill instead of making his own questions.

He comes off very aggressive and mean but once you go to a few lectures you will see hes a funny guy and his work/tests arent super hard. You got to look past the first few lectures you will eventually see what I saw.

Seddik is my favorite professor so far at MSU. His teaching style is engaging and thought-provoking. He fosters a supportive environment, where no question is too small, and every student feels heard. Beyond academics, his positive attitude and dedication to his students' growth, both personally and professionally, are truly remarkable.

He is a great and very knowledgeable professor.The class grade consists of 5 exams, all taken online through the Cerifi app.Attendance is taken at the beginning of class. He does not accept late submissions, and there is no presentations or group work. Overall, it's a straightforward class with valuable insights from a very experienced professor.
