Seema is the coolest teacher i've ever had, she is really fun and you can tell she loves to teach. The whole class was sad on our last day of school.

I loved Seema :) She is such a great young teacher. She knows what students go threw in college and understands that we do have difficult times with work and school so if you need like an extra day to turn in your paper she doesn't hesitate to say yes.

Seema is an amazing teacher. she makes the class so much fun, and you don't even feel like your in class. is alway delightfully excited about class, showing she loves what she's doing. she builds a great relationship with her students, where your actually sad on the last day of school.

Seema is is the sweetest teacher. being in her class you can't help but get excited about english like she does. not the easiest, but because she's so great she makes coming to class easy to do. the last day is like HS in that both you and her are sad to have the semester end. goo seema!

seema is the best english teacher I have had so far. She connects with all her students . She makes English fun (not boring). she would always make us peer edit our work and other students work as well. She is the coolest english teacher. I passed with a B and my work wasn't even all that. My advise with her would be finish your work on time.

Class was really easy, but a lot of reading involved. She only gave us grades once at the beginning of the semester and then after finals. No tests, just essays

She's ok, but there was no grades on esseys, you get everything late, BAD ON GRADING!!!!!!!!! If you have better choice - use it, otherwise take her.

She was ok. Her grading is tough as she doesn't tell you exactly how you will be graded on papers or what she is looking for specifically. But she was a fun teacher and a B isn't tough to achieve if you do what she says. Her classes are NOT boring in anyway.

Dr. Kurup is the best teacher at harper college. She is very nice and doesn't make you buy the book. As long as you do your work on time she'll give you a good grade. I am not an English native speaker but still managed to get an A in the class because i did all the work on time. TAKE HER! SHE'S THE BEST!

She's amazing! Hilarious, Fun, Entertaining! I absolutely hate English, and she made me enjoy class! She's a riot, rarely lectures, assignments are easy, and she let's you write about pretty much anything you can think of! I would definitely recommend her!

She is a cool teacher. LOUD AND CLEAR about everything. You have to listen to her or she will get pissed. So listen. There are a couple essays, short response papers and a big final. I took her as a learning community with Patti Furgeson. They are both awesome teachers. She hands back papers kind of late =/. Overall, I recommend taking her.

This was my third time taking ENG 101 (embarrassing I know) and I finally passed. I took Professor Kurup's online class, but she was HILARIOUS during orientation. The semester consisted of 4 short response papers, 3 essays (narrative, persuasion, argumentative) and then 3 discussion board entry's that are so easy-- minimum of 5 sentences each.

I Love Seema!! seriously she is so funny and down to earth, she's that type of teacher that makes you feel comfortable in class, I just went back to school after 6yrs and I was a bit scared to take this class, but she makes it worth it :) I honestly wished we had more teachers like her!!! TAKE HER! DONT THINK ABOUT IT TWICE:)you'll LOVE her

Lots of fun! I took and 8week online course. Very helpful, just wished I would have been able to meet with her during the class because she was so much fun. Takes a while to post grades but she e-mails pretty quickly. Gave extended time to finish the final copies of our criticle essays which was extreamly helpful! LOVE HER!

One of the best teachers I have had. I loved this class, she's hilarious! She isn't an easy grader, but she gives you lots of good feedback. If you use her advice, you will do fine. I took the joint class with her and Mrs. Ferguson (speech 101) I highly recommend taking them together! You can base your speech on your paper! 2 birds 1 stone.

I took her online class. Easy assignments and only one a week. the only issue i had with her, she didn't update grades. She only did it once last semester and didn't even upgrade the grades for your final portfolio at the end. but overall a great teacher.

Very helpful and energetic teacher! I haven't taken an English course in years and she helped me get back on my feet and I can now write papers very well. She is clear with her expectations. Only down-side is that she does not post your grades or give you much feedback. Tried taking her 102 class but was not available.

Seema is so funny and an amazing teacher! The class consists of reading short stories and writing your opinion about them. The class was easy but a lot of work. Prepare to read your butts off! Also no textbook needed. She gives you links to all the stories you are required to read.

I took my Comp 101 class and was dreading to take 102, but with Seema she completely changed my mind. She was the best teacher and always explained things thoroughly. She didn't post grades much, but she was definitely an awesome english teacher and I loved her personality.

I took Lit241 online. Really easy to do in the summer. The class met once at Harper and Seema is so funny and sweet. She really cares about her students. 1 discussion post and 2 responses due weekly. 1 midterm paper, 1 final paper. Just keep up with due dates and its an easy A. She provides all reading materials (online), no textbook!

Seema is a great instructor, very energetic, understanding, great personality, easy grader and she's very helpful. No book required writing assignments was very interesting. I loved class with Seema, she made class so enjoyable and I looked forward to going to class in the summer, I wish it would have been longer! I wanted her for Eng102 as well, however, she wasn't available for 102 :( If you can, take her. Shes clear on expectation and so bubbly, and funny. Shes my favorite professor Ive had in college.

Seema was one of the most laid back and helpful teachers I've had at Harper. The only things that seemed to matter to her were participation and showing an effort to improve. Assignments were easy, and as long as you turn them in on time you'll pass just fine. Super understanding when I needed an extension on a paper because of work, loved her!

She is the most laid-back professor by far. She is very clear about what she expects from your papers and it's not much. Yeah, she requires that you show up for class but at least she isn't boring. She is also very funny and has a great sense of humor. I would take her again as a professor in a heartbeat :)

I took Seemas Eng101 class online & loved it. She made the class super easy & fun & you knew all of your assignments & due dates for the whole semester on the first day of class. As long as you do all of your work on time & include everything she asks for with some effort, you'll be fine. Only thing is that she grades work super late.

amazing teacher! she is very funny and authentically cares! she goes into great detail when explaining homework so if you missed something best believe it isnt her fault! she is very sweet and understands if you miss a class but attendance really does affect your grade if you choose to take her class.

Great professor to take as a 16 week class.

Great Professor! Consisted of 3 essays and 3 short responses.

You must participate and turn in all of the work on time, you have a higher chance for an A. She does take awhile to grade and update the grades. This was an 8-week course, which included 11-12 assignments. She does reply to your questions.

I really liked Professor Kurup. English has never been my best subject but she was very kind to me. She explains all of her assignments really well. The only problem I had was I took an 8 week instead of a 16-week English class so all of the papers were due so soon. If you see professor Kurup as an English class option I would definitely take it :)

I was so nervous doing online classes. She made it easy to ask questions and kept us updated with any changes to the syllabus. I definitely would take her again!!

Seema is a great professor, explained things in details and made sure to make it clear and not overboard. had a nice short syllabus with everything listed out and made it super easy to read and understand. does not assign many assignments but is enough to keep you on your feet.

You won't regret taking her, actually cares for her students.

All due dates given on first day, No late work accepted and if it is you lose a letter grade, you know your grade 4 weeks into the class and at the very last day, that is the only downside. Total of 3 essays 3 short response papers and 4 DBAS. She seems nice but I never made an effort to email her, pretty easy class as long as you meet all criteria

I absolutely love Seema. This class is a walk in the park. Everything is laid out nicely. 3 essays, 3 short response papers, and a few DBAs. Truly a warmhearted professor. She wants you to enjoy writing, and will always lend a helping hand. Took this fully online. Take her for Eng 101 if you want an easy A, with an amazing teacher.

Seema is great! She makes the assignments fun and genuinely cares about her students. The only thing I have to say is that she does not grade anything until the end of the semester, but as long as you turn in your assignments you are good to go. I will be taking her again for ENG 102!

I took this class over the summer, so it was farely easy. As long as you submit on time and meet the criteria you're good. The only thing is that you barely get to see your grades until the end. Some grades were put in 2 weeks before the end and then I saw my final grades. She is definitely a caring and understading teacher who will try to pass you
