This teacher is the best..even if you don't really like english, she makes it interesting. At the beginning of each class she puts up a quote and you just have to write what you think it means. Most of the work is easy. I really liked writing essays for her class. She doesn't grade too hard, but the best thing is she gives alot of good feedback.

Ms. Flowers is a great teacher. She gives interesting assignments and makes it fun to come to class. We did a lot of in class assignments while working in groups. We barely used the book. We had mandatory conferences, where we discuessed the last paper we turned in and the one we were doing. A very easy class. You learn and have fun. Take her!!

Having computer skills and maneuvering on the internet is a must. If you do not have any of these, then this class is not for you. Be prepared to read search the net and write paper. This course does require time.

It's true about posting some grades towards end of semester. Overall her class was easy especially taking 3 more classes online. I believe a total of six 1-page essays, 2 discussions and 4-page final.Each essay was due about every other week. It was slow but super easy. I passed with a "B". I skipped 1 discussion assignment and didn't buy book. :-)

Great! I took her 1302 online. She tells you exactly what she wants. Did not give us grades back untiil semester was almost over. Not overbearing. turn in all of you assignments and you will be fine.

If you need to take english online then take her! her assignments are fair, she does not overwealm you with work which is great for being an online class. Only thing is that you dont know where you stand grade wise. You will know at the end. Take her she is awesome, easy too.

Great professor, she does not lecture too much but makes all assignments very clear. I do not consider myself to be great at writing papers and yet I got 94 on two of my essays. Yes there is reading involved, but almost all reading assignments are short stories or poems, no long books to read. She is a really nice teacher :-)

Her class is very straight forward. I actually didn't mind working on her assingments at all. She made the online class very smooth and she responded to my e-mail really fast. She does take a little long on grading but she grades really well. Take Ms.Flowers;)

OMG! I must say, best teacher ever. I took her 8wk online class and passed with an A! Whereas 1301 got a C. She doesn't grade very hard. She's straightforward on what you need to do. And her assignments were easy, each a week apart. Take her! You will not regret it!

Great Professor! Participate in ALL class discussions and complete the journals and essays to get an A. There was 2 (2-3 pages) essay and one final essay and a journal (1-2 paragraphs) for every unit! Overall really great teacher just took a little time to get grades out, but she did apologize when they were finally sent out.

FLowers is a super easy grader, each assignment was a week apart with a redo at the very end. She was a little slow with the grades coming in but she puts your grades on this website so you see your actual average. You do need your book for two assignments that involve questions. Take Flowers for a great grade!!

Great professor. Assignments due every Friday by 11:59. You will need the book because on 2 assignments you have to reference something from specific pages. She's a pretty easy grader as long as you put forth effort. English 1302 was not a desirable class for me and I got a b+!

I took her for my 8 week online course. She is very helpful. She will explain very well in detail if you do not understand something. I would RECOMMEND her as a teacher. Even though I have no interest in writing, I thought this class was super easy. Just be sure to complete all the assignments and you will do fine. Flowers is an easy grader, however, we didn't get any of our grades until a couple of days before class officially ended, which is unacceptable in my opinion.

Fair grader. Assignments are straight-forward and not very lengthy. You don't get your grades until end of the entire class. Turns out you have to email her to get your engrade access information if you want to stay updated with your grades.

Professor Flowers preferred to do blog entries and have students have discussions amongst themselves than taking tests. She also would have you write a 1pg essay about different topics. You will be reading multiple books but won't need a textbook! I strongly recommend her! Easy A!

I took Engl 1301 with Mrs. Flowers in the summer as a dual credit student. There were four short writing assignments and three short essays for the entire class. She is an easy grader. I would really recommend her class!

i took Professor Flowers for summer so yes we did have an essay to write every other day but they were short essays so it was very easy. We also had group projects in class. Professor Flowers is really nice and is helpful. She really wants you to be more open minded when it comes to writing. PLS TAKE HER I RECOMMEND IT!!!!

I took her for English 1302. She tends to grade at the end of the course so just make sure that you turn in all your assignments on time and you will be fine. Try your best but you will most likely receive 100 on each assignment if you have turned it in on time and tried. I recommend this class for an easy A.

Prof. Flowers is amazing. I took her for English 1302 in the summer of 2019. She was by far the best English professor I ever had. Her expectations were not as difficult as my previous English 1302 classes at the other University I took them in (university Of Houston-Downtown) and she was not strict either with the grading criteria. She was a great professor. Assignments were interesting and easy. I had three "major essays", all with generous deadlines. She is not too harsh with her grading, and there is no final exam, just a final paper. Would recommend 100%.

Professor Flowers is the best professor I have seen. I took ENGL 1302 for dual credit and ended with an A+. Most, or actually, all of the assignments are short essays, but are pretty easy.

Professor Flowers is a very understanding and caring person. She gives a reasonable amount of work and a reasonable time frame for it. The work itself is not terrible if you read the instructions. However, she does wait until the end of the course to put in all your grades. Overall though, she is a very good professor that I'd take again.

This professor is the best hands down easiest class I ever taken. If you are really well at essays then this class will not be a problem. 1 short assignment, 4 essays (3 of them require only 1 page and the last one is 2pg). The final is 3-4 pages which was really easy! The only problem is that there wasn't much communication from professor. Easy A

Professor Flowers class was easy. I took it in a 5 week summer course and got As on all my papers. There are 3 short essays, 1 long essay, and a final essay. She is not an easy person to communicate with. She does take for ever to answer emails and grade papers. Over half of my essays werent graded by the end of the semester.

Professor Flower's is a wonderful English Professor! She is very clear on what she expects in each assignment and is always willing to answer questions for extra clarification. She paced the assignments in the class so that they were very manageable. A few very short assignments, a couple of short essays and two longer papers.

Assigns about 1 paper a week. Graded the first 3 papers as they were turned in, but then didn't grade any of the remaining papers until after the last paper was submitted. Hard to know how you are doing in the class, the entire semester. No feedback given on how to improve on next assignment as it was not given until the semester was over.

Professor Flowers is a really great professor and I would recommend for people to take her. No reading of books was required in her class. But long essays were required about 5 essays in total including the final, but she gave a lot of time to finish those essays so were easy to finish. 10/10 would recommend if you want an easy first year

Professor Flowers was great! She allowed homework redos and make-up for past homework. She was very clear with instructions and assignments. Her Blackboard class is a little hard to figure out but, that's easy to work around. She asks for readings, but you don't have to read the entire textbook, just certain parts. Highly recommend Flowers for ENGL

If you are good at writing you should take this course, she's very sweet! The only thing is she takes a while to grade assignments, but it is not a hard class at all. She's not a tough grader and gives good advice as well.

Anyone who rated her less than a 5 Star and said this class was hard was clearly not doing their work. Assignments are given with so much time to do them and she's an easy grader. If you have questions she replies fast and helps if you need it. Def' take her if you want a well rounded professor for an easy A!

Easy class, few discussions. There are around 4 Major essays, but they're actually fun to write about and not boring over random research like other English classes. She's easy on late assignments, which I appreciate so so much. love her feedback on essays. I definitely recommend taking an online class with her. 11/10

Her grading is not picky.She just takes a long time grading the assignments. There's an introduction assignment, 3 discussions, 2 pre draft essay. and 4 essays in total.

She's a nice professor. The class was not hard. Only thing about her, she grades really SLOW! Most of the essay is based off short videos and pictures. I just felt like my essays could have been graded a little more higher than what she graded it. Overall not a bad professor. TAKE HER to pass English! My final grad was a 87!

This class was very straightforward. She helps you become a better writer & gives great feedback on assignments. She asks questions to challenge your ideas and shows you there is always more than one way to look at things. The only thing is she can take a while to grade your assignments. I really enjoyed her class & the one on ones toward the end.
