He's an excellent teacher. But tests don't make sense. No curve left me w/ a D.
Class average was a 65%. No curve. One student sold his soul for a C+.

Liked him a lot. He's got a accent which makes his jokes funny even if they wouldn't be by anyone else. Test can be tricky, but not too bad.
His accent makes you listen very carefully. This allows you to get the most out of his lectures.

Fun class i learded a lot. Study for the quizes and use study quide for the tests and you should be fine.

Read the book, show up for the quizzes and sleep through or skip the lectures. You will not need to know anything besides what the book says, because he lectures straight from it. Very unhelpful, doesn't even care to attempt to learn (or pronounce) names.
Give him a chance. I took him two years ago and thought he was great! Kind of talks fast, though.

Great guy all around. Ive had him twice and would take him again.
He was a decent prof, but doesn't really help you out if you have issues throughout the semester. I had a family friend die and had surgery. He didn't let me make up the quizzes I missed and I dropped from a B to a C because of it!
Very nice and funny guy. Class isn't hard, just read the book, go to class, study the review sheets and you'll do fine.
Prof was funny, entertaining, taught you a lot about behavior mod.

One of the BEST PROF's I've ever had. Class was never boring, because he's very funny, charming, and cares very much about his students. Just make sure you show up for quizes, read the book, and study the review sheet. He's very fair on exams!!!!
Really funny guy, fun class too. I learned a lot and never wanted to miss a class. Doesn't take attendence, but sometimes there are pop quizes.
His class is difficult, but he is a good prof. His subject is very interesting, but he knows a lot about it. He sometimes messes up writing english and is hard to understand, but it's not usually that drastic.
Very hard to listen to, class got very boring toward end of semester. Although the class was not too difficult and pretty straight forward, I would not take him again.

This prof. is awful. His English is unclear, and his tests are too. It's IMPOSSIBLE to get a good grade. He makes class agonizing to sit through. DO NOT TAKE HIM. Ask him questions and you'll just end up more confused. Made me hate the course!
I liked the subject the information was good, but he is very HARD! He is the only one that teaches this class! So basicly you are stuck! Sometimes students and teachers do not get along. WE DID NOT! I did like the study guide
The subject and information was good. It is taught well with good study guides. There are pop quizzes but it’s all fair. This is not a class where you can skate by. Only the LAZZY students find it HARD!
I loved this prof and this class. It was my favorite at GVSU. He is hilarious, helpful, easy to talk to, and very friendly. The quizzes were a bit difficult but he usually adds in extra credit questions. Exams are ok if you use the study guide.

Very nice guy. Loves what he does and is constantly looking to become a better prof. A bit hard to understand sometimes, but if you tell him he clarifies. Must do readings for weekly quiz. Start project work on the first day!!!
Not bad. Assignments easy. Lectures boring, everything is in the book. Topics are common knowledge. Tests are out of the book.
He knows his stuff, but isn't always very clear. Tests and quizzes are a little hard,but the material is very interesting...He's a funny guy. If you take him, do the readings and start your project early!
It was ok. Not a real winner, but nothing horrible either. I think he's the only person who teaches this course.
He was alright, pretty boring classes and he was very unclear. Hard grader and hard tests, and when you go to ask questions you leave more confused. However, I don't think you have a choice cause I think he is the only Prof that teaches the class.
tests come right from the book. lectures are quite boring, but on the up side he's a funny guy. project is easy. i did it the night before and got an A on it. as long as you study right from the book you'll do fine. i put a B effort in his class and expect a B out of his class.

Easiest class ever! All you have to do is read the book as all his tests and quizes come straight from it. Plus it's an easy book to read.

Rodriguez is a very nice guy. I actually like his accent and think it is a lot of fun listening to. I don't think that he is hard to understand. I look forward to his classes because they are fun and I learn a lot. He is pretty flexible as well. Outside of class he can come off as a bit arrogan
this class sucked.he was very hard to understand.tests were hard and confusing.He did not answer questions very well.left you confused.it seemed as though he wanted to trick you rather than teach you or see what you learned.i suggest taking this course at CC or waiting til another prof teaches it.

Class is fun and interesting, but you can never really grasp his concepts so you must read the book. He has difficulty getting his words out when answering questions, so it's hard to follow where he's going. He has a great attitude about this subject and is entertaining to the class. Make sure you study the book and you'll be fine.
The most difficult and stressful class ever! It totally ruined my GPA and I worked my butt off! I cant understand a thing he says and when I do he is contradicting himself. The wording of his tests is very ambiguous and misleading. He gets upset if you dont follow him.

very entertaining man and he has funny stories. Class is interesting and the book is good. Read all the chapters and fill out the study guides and you will do fine. The chapters in the book are not long and if you read all the examples you will be able to get the concepts. I worked pretty hard and got a B, but enjoyed the class.
Never take this prof. he SUCKS.
Absolutely terrible. Going to class is pointless and a waste of time. He refuses to argue any points on tests when he doesn't understand a misinterpretation. Grades the paper difficultly, you get marked off for having an extra space or other stupid things.
He's such a cute little guy! He is very funny and easy to get along with. The class is difficult because there is so much information covered, but he does a good job of preparing you for what to expect right from the beginning. If you're willing to work hard, you'll do fine. He is very friendly and willing to help.
Worst Prof i have every had. You would be better off just reading the book and not coming to class because he makes the topics more confusing. Gives random quizes though so you have to show up. I will never take this professor again
Confusing, unclear, disorganized. His tests are awful, many confusing or unclear questions; we actually ended up getting 5+ questions back on each test because he goofed up. Doesn't explain things well, his Powerpoints are poorly written, the writing assignments are stupid; thinks he's a "grammar expert" but marks correct things wrong.
He is such an old cutie..... :) His tests are extremely difficult and require alot of studying, and he gives random pop reading quizzes so you HAVE TO BUY THE BOOK! But when you go to his office hours he is very helpful.
READ THE BOOK. The book is straight forward and the test is from the book 100%. My advice to get an A is to Type up a outline of each chapter then fill in the blanks or detail as he talks. I got an A in the course but that not eazy to get. He is very helpful during office hours. Not a bad teacher just confussing sometimes during lectures.
He is the worst prof i've had yet. VERY unclear and doesn't have a clue what he's doing with most of the material. There is a huge amount of reading and you have to do it otherwise you'll fail... okay so maybe you'll fail even if you read! tests were very hard and confusing! basically try not to take him!!!!
He has a tendency to be kind of confusing but usually just because he uses the wrong word...we all do this!! If you read and make sure you understand the material you should do fine. The quizzes and tests are easy as long as you read!!
I loved this guy, probably one of the best profs ive ever had. yeah its not an easy class, he definetly puts up a challenge and you learn so much. and hes very helpful about it too! definetly recommend him, hes a funny guy and makes class interesting.
This was a fun class, he's a good teacher, always willing to help. The project wasn't so easy to understand though, and if you take this class in the spring, you don't have to do it! Random quizzes, so read ahead of time and be there, but you get to drop some too! Tests are fairly straightforward and easy. One of my fave profs!!!
It's a 300 level course, it's not going to be easy, but you do have to read. Tests are from the book, go through the study guide and answer each question from the book + his in class notes and you'll do well. Really interested in what he's teaching and cute cute!

Class is pointless. All he does is read the book during lecture which he has put on PowerPoint. It isn't helpful when it comes to the test. However you have to go to class because he gives pop quizzes and a lot of them. Not an enjoyable class, and didn't learn much of anything. He's a nice guy, but I hope to not take a class with him again.
i didn't really like him too much. he would tell us that concepts are important and that we didn't need to know numbers and then tested on details and numbers on exams. he isn't much help when you try to email him or talk to him outside of class either. he acts like "oh well not my fault, figure it out yourself"

He was a funny guy, but I thought it was hard to understand what he expected of you. He made the tests sound like they were going to be so easy but then the entire class would fail.
Very difficult. the tests did not measure your level of understanding at all i went to every class, read all the material, and studied for hours and hours and still bombed every exam. a lot of his questions are a matter of perspective and is unwilling to listen or have sympathy when you talk to him about anything.
Very unclear. You're never realy sure what he's looking for in assingments. And he's really bad a answering question.
He taught straight from the book. His tests were worded weirdly. Some questions were hotly debated on his exams. I never listened to him because he thought he was funny and I just did not think he was funny.
Tests are really hard, it is unclear where he draws some of his information from. Not helpful outside of class, just makes you feel stupid. Avoid if at all possible.
Senez is crazy. Tests are EXTREMELY hard. I suggest waiting until he posts the study guides to read the articles. Very unclear about what he wants in assignments. I asked once and he spent 10 minutes answering everything BUT the question I asked. He's occasionally hilarious though...
Senez was one of my favorite professors, I dont know why he has poor ratings because he was very good at delivering material and helping students. exams were right off of his study guides.
HE is a nutball, totally loony. His tests are really hard and unclear. He gets right up in your personal space which can make sitting up front uncomfortable. He assigns about 5 readings a day which make it unpossible to keep up.
One of the worst Profs I've had. The more he talks the less it seems like he know the material. He is super boring. Test QUs are long and confusing. He goes off on tangents that don't help lecture. Content could be interesting but with this prof, the class was a waste of my time. I did fine but TAKE A DIFFERENT PROF if at all possible.
Not an easy class... and this is coming from a natural science major. He doesn't post his PowerPoints on Blackboard and zooms through his lectures so its hard to copy down all the notes. However, he is EXTREMELY funny and a very personable guy. If you take him, plan on making your own outlines for each chapter and studying minute details.
I really like this professor as a person and he's super hilarious. However, his tests are almost strictly application based so you have to know the material front and back. There's also a semester long research paper that he gives very little guidelines on. If you HAVE to take him, you'll be fine but maybe try someone else.
He is definitely a very interesting guy. His class was really easy in my opinion. He had a random quiz once a week on the chapter so you had to read to be prepared. His questions are not always clear which is difficult.

For an entry level class, it is very difficult. Read ahead of time and it should help. Sometime you can barely understand him. Gives quizzes every week and they can hurt your grade big time. I am retaking the class with a different professor and it is a lot better for me. This prof is wishy-washy. He is pretty funny and makes class interesting.
