Great Prof! Fun guy, very clear with his explanantions and presentations of new concepts without moving too slowly! Also very fun in class most of the time (how many profs give you Pringles on the first day?)

Really nice guy. :) He's very understandable, explains things greatly. :) The one class of his was FLOODED with people! The other profs couldn't live up to the Danny Davito look alike. ;D.. take him if you can :)

I went to the tutorials and review session that he ran. This guy is a really awesome prof. Excellent hand writing and sketching, with a good explanation of the course content and examples. Take this guy if possible, I would definately recommend him!

GREAT prof every had!! Explains very clearly and is fun sometimes. This is the only class I try to attend. Becareful, b/c most of the time is classes are overfilled with students. Get there early!

The BEST prof I've ever had. I will tell you this: a first year Arts student came to his class and learned vector calculus without having any background in calc. Even if you never have to take math 237, go see this miracle prof anyways.

The first time in my life I actually understood Calculus. (I've done well mark-wise before, but this is the first time I really get it.) Absolutely the best calc prof of all time. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. (the comments below aren't kidding. His class is over capacity until the last lecture)

The course would be very easy if you take it with this guy. Apart from that all I can say is this guy is the "strongest nerd I have ever seen". He thinks Maths is beautiful...

He cares extremely about his students' learning. Goes above & beyond to teach and provide help. His tutorials are amazingly useful. His lectures are very helpful. No need to read the textbook. Assignments are reasonable and midterm and final are also reasonably if he is course coordinator. He has drinks in his office for students! My favorite prof.

AWEOSME prof. Attend his lectures, his tutorials and pre-exam reviews. He seriously makes calc 3 enjoyable.

What can I say that hasn't been said? One of the best math profs in Waterloo. His lecture notes are incredible, much better than course notes. Everybody should have Serge at least once before they graduate.

Fantastic prof! Like everyone else has said, his notes are great, and he knows it. His notes are designed so that we can refer to them if we ever need them in the future. Dedicated and patient professor who will skip thanksgiving to hold a review session for you before a midterm.

Words aren't enough to describe the amazingness of this prof. He's super clear, and super organized. Encourages students to ask questions and is genuinely interested about the material he teaches. You can see his excitement when he's talking about Maxwell's Equations =)

If you ever have a chance to have him as your teacher, you're damn lucky. (my 137 class is his first time teaching that section in EIGHT years). He makes calculus entertaining, and he's so interested in what he does, w/ a crytal clear voice and best part-empathy for students! Cutting down assign-questions, those HINTS to assignments he gives.. :)

he is one of the best teachers i havent seen for yrs, he really knos cal well and understands his student well, he is one of the teachers that dont only teach the course material extremely well, but alsl truely cares abt his students..he wont hesitate to help u even that means sacrificing his personal time..i'm so lucky to have him as my teacher!

Serge was an amazing professor. He always had amazing notes and explained the concepts really well! He even extended his times by half an hour every lecture (3 times a week), just to go over additional problems in class. He always went above and beyond.

Good professor. Sometimes lectures are too fast-paced, but nothing that you can't catch up on with the textbook. He's got many "fancy colours" of markers and "animals" as graphs. :)

Serge is the best math professor at UWaterloo. He is so passionate and organized, always post resources for exams and tests early. His lectures are well structed and easy to follow. Although he teaches quite difficult classes, he makes them very digestible. Love him!! He is the goat.
