The guy has no knowledge whatsoever about the material. If you have even 1 ounce of interest in this subject, do yourself a favor: DO NOT TAKE HIM. It is a total waste of time. I was astonished they would let him teach, period. Shame on you, MDC! On top of having no clue, he treats you as if you were a 5 yr old. Just the worst teacher ever. Awful.

This "professor" is a complete jerk, he treats students like children. He doesn't have any idea where he is half the time and his idea of a lecture is going to websites he happened to save on his floppy disk. half of the time is him trying to open the file.
Nice teacher , He explains well his classes , always preapared with pp presentaction. If you do your homework and attend his classes , you will pass with a good grade.
His class is annoying. You do a ton of chapter handouts which he barely gives you credit for. If you geta few wrong you have to redo it. He's always lost, and his tests can be annpying when he pops in questions he never went over. But to be fair, if you have a sense of humor, he is nice and funny.
This was the easiest class I have ever taken! I agree he does treat the students like children, but hey you get what you ask for! If you do your work and BEHAVE he won't get so frustrated!! Give him a try, he's not so bad. I guarantee you will laugh in his class!! He loves to sing out loud! You learn alot about music and the great composers!
He is always unprepared,always with a Power poin Presentation and broken videos that you can't see clear what is happening....and most of the time he is lost.. but he is fun...

This class was so hard, try not to take it with him. He is disrespectful & we all seriously thought he had some kind of personality disorder. The tests are hard, you have to study EVERYTHING IN THE BOOK. Such an insignificant class does not deserve to be so difficult and tedious.

I took this Professor for Music Appreciation Class. He doesn't like tardiness and students being disrespectful in class. The tests and questions are straight out of the book. HE is very easy to understand and a genuinely nice person. He is open to questions and will help you anytime with questions. I enjoyed his class this past semester.
I took Mr. Bezzard a long time ago. He is knowledgable of what he teaches. He can't stand people being late and absent. He hates when people go on the computer and he does humiliate you but then again as adults we should not be doing these things to begin with. I found his class to be very easy, intersting and never was reprimanded by him!
This guy sucks! Everything he knows is from the book, if you ask him a question, he'll just tell you to read the book. Do his handouts, and his tests should be pretty easy. All his videos are from youtube and the guy doesn't know squat about Humanities!
Class with this professor is not exactly the best thing ever. If you like the general topic humanities, you may dislike it after taking the course with him. While he did know his topic quite well, the explanations may not hole your interest. There are also times when he may come off as a but rude, though you can tell he means it in a good way.
Worst professor ever, Treats students like little kids, often loses himself in the middle of class and switches to spanish frequently. He was on the boring side at times. but to pass this class you DO NOT HAVE TO PAY ATTENTION. all he does is email u worksheets for each chapter. the worksheets are the exact test. i got an A. Oh and he gives u the answers for the worksheets before the tests to study. come on, it CANT get any easier. show up to class. GOOD PROFESOR.
HONORS COLLEGE!!! Horrible teacher for the honors program. Does not know how to teach and contradicts himself while on lecture. Test are not multiple choice, but just plain answers. If taking the class in spanish, he gets worst. Take humanities!! Trust me, if you plan to get a good gpa without killing yourself don't take this man..

I'm taking jazz history class with Mr. Bezard and I like the class verey much. He sends home work via internet and his lectures are clear and focusd with pp presentations. You need the book for this class.
I had this professor for a couple weeks as a substitute for our regular teacher and he was very good, did several prtesentations on American art, like andy Warol and mexican art. He answered questions clearly and the class liked it and showed some cool DVD on modern art.
I liked Mr Bezzard, he was very good with the students, and let us take our lowest grade test again at the end.He used his own powrpoint which were great. He answered Q's in a friendly way, no atitude, I got an A final.
Great professor!!! Excellent musician don't pay attention to students that only are looking for passing the class and having everything easy. If you like music and want to learn this is the right professor. If you want to improve your skills with your instrument take the jazz workshop with him it's really fun.
I enjoyed his class very much. His lectures are easy, he reviews every class, asks questions and helps students with their homework. He has several short tests, no final comprehensive test. I thougt he was great. I got an A, as did a friend taking the class with me.
The professor was ok. the best part is the worksheets he sent us by email.Yo do them on your own time but he also gave us study time during class periods. No problem.
If you want an A take professor bezard. The class is not the most fun but he tries to explain as best as he can. He gives worksheets that are a great aid to the exams. There are about four exams for the semester. Take him for a guaranteed A.

It was a great class,the professor used videos and slides to cover the whole book. If you do the worksheets you can get at least a C,and he will take points off your grade if you are always late or absent.
The course was fun, Mr. Berzard was helpful and answered questions clearly and also he gives you worksheets to do at home for each chapter. It was a great class, fun stuff about the arts and movies, not a hard class by no means.

terrible teacher. doesn't know the material just reads from the book. he changes his course policies without any notices. He does give worksheets but doesn't even know the answers to them so many times I found myself studying the wrong answers. He is often lost in his own class and wastes a lot of time trying to figure out how to use the computer.
Nice guy, knows his stuff, and doesn't gives his students a hard time. The tests are basically the workbooks that he assigns for each chapter so make sure that you skim the chapters to complete the workbooks , and STUDY them. I can't stress enough that THEY ARE THE TESTS! Easy A if you STUDY WORKBOOKS!
This class was very easy and laid back, the professor uses the book, PowerPoints and videos to cover all of his material. He sends out study worksheets to do at home through email and if you study and complete those worksheets you will pass the class with an A.
Loved this professor! I strongly recommend him. He played the piano, sang and used Youtube for examples. We had four tests and wrote two short papers on music and the worksheets he sends are EASY! We used the book a lot and used powerpoints which are reallly good.
Although I received an A in his class, I felt he was never organized and all over the test. The worksheets he did give were helpful in passing the test although some of the information was not in the book and he guessed the answers for those without certainty. Too much time was wasted on using the computer and his rules changed too much
I guess he was okay... there is no final here and my class only took three test. each test covers three chapters. I must say that the last test was not what I was expecting at all it was way harder than the other test he had given us before. he is also really confusing and talks way to much!
If you can get pass his accent...which is heavy you should be fine. NEVER sit under the speakers he plays music at the max!!!!.
Great class, I learned a lot about the Humanities. Test were fair and you can write a paper for extra credit (I did). I was very satisfied with the class and the professor.
I took the summer music class and liked very much. Had no idea about music and composers but i personally learned a lot. The course was only 6 weeks but Mr. Brezard was clear and gave us lots of musical examples and films about clasical music. I recommend this profesor and will take his Humanities class in the fall.
I took this class in the summer. The three test were broad and that affected my grade a lot but other than that hes pretty interested. He is very strict with the way one uses manners, I'll never forget the day I accidently yawned! O Lawd!
Great class,I enjoyed the wealth of knowledge and passion Mr. Bezard shared with our class.I now have a new appreciation for all things art.. I don't look at buildings, pictures the same way. I instantly say to myself "oh,that's three dimensional or that sounds pianissimo".I now think of colors,textures and the scale of things in a whole new way.
This guy didn't know if he was coming or going. The Professor was quite often incorrect in subject matter but would become highly defensive when confronted about it. If you are a stickler for organization, take a different professor.

Very passionate about music and arts. His lectures are extremely vague and sometimes go all over the place without getting the original message across. He has a smart mouth attitude and will snap at you if you challenge anything he says. 4 Tests which are all included in handouts which you must study. I would not recommend this professor.
It was a pretty easy class, the professor gave us homework and some of the same questions showup in the tests later. He kept us informed with each student about our grades. It was an ok class, you got to show up for class or he'll take points off at the end of the term.

I just took Humanities with Mr. Bezard and got an easy B (almost A but didn't write a xtra credit paper:( Very easy professor, I was not interested in the class but he sends you worksheets that help out in tests. The class easy and I learned the material. I recommend this proffesor.
I would not recommend him to someone who sincerely wants to learn humanities, but it is a great course to take to get a free B . Extremely strict when it comes to attendance. THE STUDY GUIDES ARE THE TEST! You don't necessarily need the book since the answers are all online. He's not that bad but if he feels disrespected, he will put you out there.
Bezard is a weird professor. The lectures are very boring and long. He is confident about everything he says so if you try to correct him he won't let you even if he's wrong. He is very passionate about Humanities though but maybe a little too much. Take a different professor for Humanities.
This class is extremely boring. he mostly lectures and reads off the textbook. his test are easy though as long as you study the study guides you will pass. He also has no problem calling students out in front of the class for the smallest things.
This class was an easy A. Professor Bezard was really helpful and informative and even allows extra credit. 8/10 recommend.
His Tests are the reviews he gives. He sometimes doesn't know the information on the PowerPoints. If he doesn't know what you are talking about then you are automatically wrong until he searches it up and then say ok nvm. If he goes to fast on the PowerPoint, they are not his, just search up the name of the PP and it will pop up in Google.
Don't take this Professor I passed by hairs his Tests are difficult and in his blogs you have to write a whole book to get a B. Do yourself a good thing and don't take him. He does not teach and just reads from the PowerPoint
The professor is never ready for class. While lecturing he goes off topic and confuses students and is a habit that he has. The professor doesn't help you understand the topic; he should give homeworks or classworks to practice for tests. The professor only gives four tests a semester if you don't pass two you fail!
Class itself is very easy just show up and pay attention to the pps they are not that long! He gives you study guides and handouts to prepare you for the tests which are very easy if you have good memory. He does get confused at times which makes him go and double check to make sure he is giving you the right info. great man love him!

I would definitely not take him again, however I did enjoy writing the blogs (4 in total) and reading from the book. You do have have to study. The questions from the test most of them are from the review. Good luck.
The professor was good, he answers questions from students and covers the material pretty good.. Part of the class was online, you have to write reports for some chapters and take four tests. He hands out worksheets that you do as homework and are good prep for tests. I would take him again,
Attendance is mandatory!! He will deduct points from your final grade if youre absent. He is very passionate about what he teaches and does a great job explaining everything. There are 3 exams and 3 blogs which are optional but are fairly easy to boost up your grade. He will not hesitate to call you out on anything you do wrong.
The profesor is ok, he gives lots of homework, and three tests and some other papers you have to write. He will not allow falling asleep in class and also takes points off if your always late. I got a B. he lectures every class so come prepared to hear him talk a lot and shows very interesting movies and stuff.
He is an intelligent professor but his teaching style is not for everyone. He is very tough and doesn't make the class interesting. He doesn't have a lot of assignments so you have to do all assignments and study hard. This course is a lot of reading, if you like this subject take it with him but if not, don't take him because he is very tough.

In my life I had had a teacher as tyrant as this one. I spend much of my time studying and the humanities I like very much, however, this teacher with his bad form, his groceries, and his complex exams in which he includes content that he never gives in the classes; has proven that it takes tremendous rejection of MDC. The worst experience.

Quite frankly I dont understand all the negative comments here. The professor treats you like an adult and expects you to do the work. Do the study guides, show up to class and review the multiple-choice in the study guide for the exam and you will pass. People here act like a bunch of children, He is a nice guy and you can learn from him.

He doesn't convey his message clearly, and while the class is easy to pass if you read the study guides, his teaching skills are not the best. He is also constantly on top of students, not in a way to help them pass, but to question every little thing they do, even going to the restroom.

I can't really understand how Miami Dade College have a professor like this. First at all, he doesn't know a thing about Humanities. He just read from PowerPoints that are not even made by him. He gives you a Guide (20 questions each chapter) for the test, you better read the entire chapter because he won't give you the answer, either check yours.
Professor doesnt know what hes teaching. Various times he has spoken about certain topics but has given the wrong information. You will not pass his tests from his lectures due to the incorrect details he shares. He posts study guides but the tests are almost nothing about the study guides. Very opinionated and was disrespectful on a few occasions
Study guides are really helpful with the test but you also need to read the book in order to get a solid A. He counts attendance as part of your final grade. He does not know what he is talking about though he reads off the powerpoint and is mostly boring when he talks. No homework. He wastes time showing us youtube videos instead of lecturing

Boring but easy class. The professor sometimes sounds dysfunctional in lecturing the content but as long as you do the study guides the class is easy. If you do the study guides he posts, you will pass his class easily!
Worst class ever. Proffessor would only read from super boring powerpoints all class. Only graded material were tests that he would give study guides for that he would review the answers before the test. Not the hardest class, but super boring proffessor. He's not a bad man but doesn't put much effort into his class. His lectures are long and boring, he reads off slides. He's extra sensitive so be careful because he will call you out. Book is only required for studying. No HW, grades are based on tests. Do the review guides and study them, most of that is the test. Only take him if necessary.
the class is boring every time I experience a lecture it was like I was being poison the only way I pass the tests was because of the corona virus that made the tests online I was able to teach myself and I passed also the extra credit essay is 1,300 words I recommend you do it because it will boost your grade this professor is horrible good luck!

Do not take this class thinking it will be easy. He obviously feels a certain way about this popular notion and has made his class extra difficult in a teach u a lesson attempt. His exams will give you anxiety even if you studied (you get 1 minute/question, around 40 of them, no easy ones). 4 exams only so expect heavy, detailed content in each 1
No homework and no assignments. Four exams, and that is his entire grading system. You fail the exams, you fail the class. I took him asynchronous, so no lecture and honestly unless you cheat (which I don't rec you do) or you're a genius's, you won't pass the class. Class was a pain. He provides PowerPoints and study guides but it's not enough.
I don't know where to begin... professor is extremely rude when you try to talk to him. He doesn't give any assignments other than tests and an essay for extra credit. 43 questions in 45 minutes tests... the material is definitely interesting and I wish i had a different professor to enjoy the content. avoid at all costs lol would've given a 0
They don't respect the students, super difficult to contact after class, gives no homework, and their English is horrible. Attendance is mandatory but it won't count points toward your grade if you are present. Don't ever miss because then it will COUNT and your grade will go down A LOT. Save your money they will waste your time. MDC do something!
Professor Bezard is a very difficult teacher to work with. He only grades exams which are so hard since its one minute per question. Please avoid this professor at all costs.

Professor Bezard is ok, but there are things that he needs to correct. For example, he gives us a short amount of time (35 minutes) to complete our first quiz. Professor Bezard needs to extend the time duration for these quizzes because the questions given to us can take some time to answer. That's all I have to say :/
Extremely unreasonable and difficult. When I was taking an exam for him, my WiFi went out and I was locked out of my test. I studied so hard for this test, but I got a 40 because I was unable to finish even though I had about half an hour left. I tried to explain the situation but he refused to reopen the test and shut me down immediately.

Test are confusing, he doesn't give you enough time. You can't go back to change ansers. Unorganized and confuses classes, keep track or he assumes you're done with a ch when you're not even halfway; everything's always your fault. Attendance: counts towards your grade, miss one day, grade drops, never miss it doesn't do anything for your grade.

He is a horrible human being with no sense of compassion he would make me go to miami dade to take my tests in a proctored lab since I was having computer difficulties. An easy course like humanities turned into the biggest nightmare. He ruined my perfect 4.0 GPA DONT take.
Terrible person tbh. Took the class on zoom and omg test days you had to have a lockdown browser. Everyone had a problem using it and he showed zero patience or sympathy when no one could login to take his test.
He will give you a study guide that will only help you get a 60% on the test and the if you don't know what he thinks is important you will only have a 60%.

Professor Bezard does not seem fit to teach. He constantly exits out of his teaching platforms and does not have a good grip on technology. His grades were solely dependent on four tests the entire semester and one extra credit essay which you had to submit an outline for no less than 3 days before you turn in the essay. Do not take this class.

Tough class with a strict grading system. Professor struggled with tech issues, and lectures weren't very helpful. unstuck ai was a lifesaver for test prep - helped me understand the material better than the textbook or class outlines.
This professor's lectures felt very boring and he is not well with computers which made sitting through his class while he figures out how to share his screen very difficult. I did the study guide and watched the videos he told us to on my own because I couldn't understand him.
