I took his intro to crim justice class online. Everything is outlined from day 1 and his course is easy to follow. Theres only a handful of online discussions, 2 tests, a midterm, a final, and a 5 page paper. Everything is done online, except the paper which he must have a hardcopy of. I defintly recommend him for his online classes

Whoever gave him a bad score needs to go back to HS asap. One of the nicest and easiest professors at JJ. He helps you in any way that he can. He posts all his powerpoints on e-reseve (as well as the midterm questions). We had 1 midterm, 1 paper, 1 group presentation and 1 final. He gives you extra credit for participation in class! Took him during Winter session. Online class only. Easiest A ever. EVER! It was his first online only class and it was a breeze. Used blackboard and textbook only. He asked us to write a paragraph on two out of 6 topics for the chapters. Did this about 8 times. Don't think he actually read them. Tests are open book and M/C. Got A! Easiest A!!

I took this class online for the summer session. It was a very easy A. There were 5 discussion questions all due by the end of the semester (easy). There were two 15pt quizzes and a final. He let's you know everything way in advance and easy to follow.

People don't get intimidated by the level number. With this professor you can take 1000 level class, & still get an A. OMG!!!! It is a shame that he doesn't teach grad courses.

Best teacher ever the only problem is he only gives you one day for the exam/quiz unlike other professor where they give you a week or so. I'm in his online class this semester and he is great! Everything is laid out for you in the beginning and you know exactly what he wants. I've gotten all points possible so far so I'd say it's a pretty good/easy class.

This was an easy course, Professor Cheloukhine replies to e-mails quickly and he posts our grades for posts quickly. You get 3 tries for each quiz/test. 3 tries for the midterm and 1 for the final. The work load is more than reasonable and he is a fair grader. I wouldn't hesitate to take another class with him.

Changed his class format. All Quizzes/Midterm/Final are 1 try only with a 2 hour time length. Its either you know your material or not or can look it up fast enough in your book. Multiple choices/Fill in the blanks. 10 Discussion board questions.

Professor Cheloukine's online class is a great one. There were about 10 discussion boards where you had to write a response and also comment on someone else's response. There were also only 2 quizzes, the midterm, and the final. He is very clear on what he wants in your responses and he grades them very quickly. Overall, he is a great professor.

My favorite professor in John Jay by far. You always know what he expects of you and it's not much. A couple discussions on blackboard, a midterm, final, & a simple group presentation. You also have 2 tries on the exams (which are online) so it's your fault if you fail. The class was interesting, he works with you, & is very helpful.

Took Prof. Cheloukhine this summer. You have to buy the book, read the book and answer each question with paragraphs using evidence from the textbook. No quizzes, no test, a lot of reading and typing, one 8 page research paper. The paper was 60% of the grade. It was an easy course with a lot to learn. Interesting class and great professor!

Great teacher to take if you want a easy A, he gives a take home midterm and final, a paper, and a presentation. Homework is just about 5 class discussions and you get like 2 weeks to do them. Great man and really wants everyone to pass.

Easy class. 7 discussion post, no midterm, and there's a final which is based off all chapters. For the discussion post all you have to do is choose 3 questions to answer for each of the 7 discussion thread. Be sure to buy the textbook for you will need it to do the homework and final exam.

Must read the book assigned in order to pass! You have to post 3 bb threads every week consisting of 7-10 lines each. BB threads are based on readings. You have a research paper on whichever CRJ topic you wish. You can run by him the topic you would like. Make sure you do all your assignments as there are no extensions or excuses. Easy A for sure!

Online class? Make sure you check BB twice a week, otherwise he considers you absent and will ask registrar dept. to drop you from class. Very straightforward. He won't answer questions addressed on syllabus or announcements. 3 posts per week based on readings. Fantastic book. Easy to understand. 10pgs paper on any CJBS topic. That's all.

Professor Cheloukhine is great! This was my 1st online course, and he made it smoother by responding to his emails right away. I was scared about the final research paper being 60% of my grade, but I put in hard work and got good results. This was an easy class if you put in the work, you are required to do the readings.4 D.B in detail about the reading 7 to 10 lines long. 10 page paper easy A he responds to your emails quickly but does not have time for nonsense. I took this class in the Winter session. A semesters worth of work crammed into 3 1/2 weeks. Intimidating but it was well worth it.. There are 4 homework posts that are required, each week involves reading 3 chapters and writing 2 posts per chapter. And the final involves a 10 page paper. It got a little stressful but it was an easy A!

Her classwork isn't hard, its a good class. this is your ideal online class, she only gives 6 discussions and 1 final paper. no exams. She seems rude over email when you ask questions but overall the class is very straight forward so I doubt you'll be asking much, just read the syllabus carefully. Also interesting discussions!

Easy A. We had 6 discussions for the entire semester (all 14 chapters split in the 6 discussions), and a final 8 page paper. You have enough time to read the chapters and respond to someone else post before the due date. Don't hesitate to take him.

This is my second class with him. He is a good professor and very fair. You have a lot of time to do each DB. He gave a lot of freedom for DB to write a summary/reaction without strict guidelines. One post and two responses, so not hard at all. Grading is fast and fair. One term paper of at least 10 pages. Would definitely recommend his classes.

So easy! Took the capstone over the summer and got a 100 on all 6 discussion boards and 100 on the final paper. Final paper is 10 pages(not including cover page & bibliography). If you start it early, it's so much easier. He loves when you turn in discussion boards or the paper in early. He responds to emails very quickly! Amazing professor!!

I'm currently in week three of his five-week summer class & things are going smoother than I anticipated. Having his textbook is a MUST being that his discussion boards are based on chapter readings. His grading criteria is very straight forward and as long as you stay on top of your deadlines & beginning your final paper, you are guaranteed an A.

Class was very straightforward and you knew what needed to be done by reading his syllabus. A paper of 10 pages and monthly or weekly discussion board posts. Each post did have a line requirement, but was very easy because you can summarize the chapter and get credit. He was also very helpful when you reached out for questions. 10/10 elective

Great professor. Instructions were little confusing in the beginning but as long as discussion board was submitted with proper citation, grades were fair. Once you know what professor wants it makes it easy. He grades fairly. He replies to questions quickly via email.

I took this class over the summer to get ahead of some of my credits and this class was very easy, and not very stressful.
