He is one of the youngest professor I know in the college. He always well dressed and has a great personality. Students respect him. I highly recommend him . He prepared well his course and explains very well. If you do and understand your homework, usually you will well on tests.

IMO his teaching method needs a little work because it can get a little confusing. But he is super nice and really does try to help any student as much as possible. He doesn't give a lot of examples in class, the homework has easy problems but the tests have much more harder ones. Take him if you catch on easily.

Prof. Ndiaye is a wonderful person. He is kind, warm, and a good teacher. English is not his first language, so sometimes there is confusion when asking a question, or for clarification, but usually those things get worked out quickly. This was by far the best professor I have ever had. He teaches stats in a way thats so simple and easy to understand, I took a Sat class which was 4 hours long, it never felt horrible because he's so funny&keeps the class alive. Excellent professor. Took him last semester and it was a breeze. He gives lots of homework but he also gives you a lot of time to turn them in. Very fair on grading. He gives a review sheet before you take a test and if you pay attention in class you can pass those test easy. Never failed none of his tests. this isn't a credit course though

If youre looking for an excellent, Dr. Ndiaye is the one. He breaks down clearly problems and make them easy for you to understand. I took this class in the summer and the workload is intense for the short time period given. Excel and online stats' calculators will be your best friends and will save you an enormous amount of time. The Professor is friendly, responsive, and fair. Stay on top of your assignments and this should be an A.

The course is very well detailled and explained. You have videos on every assignments helping a lot. There is also the faculty presence who clearly states the objective of each lesson. If you do all your assignements on time, you will easily pass the class. The professor gives good feedbacks and always send out email to remind about the due dates.

I took this online class during the three-week winter semester. It is a lot of work (37 assignments every week). We used the Pearson MyLab for homeworks, quizzes and tests. Dr Serine Ndiaye was the best math teacher I've ever had in all my years going to school. Before I took this class I had zero confidence and didn't think I could pass a math test in general. He is good professor who gives good lectures that are fully comprehensible. In class, you will be in groups of 3 and you will do not only individual tests but also groups tests. He gives extra-credit too and all the homework are online ! You just have to keep up with doing a good work and with him you'll pass the class and receive a good grade.

Course well designed and supported by videos. It is a very intense term but if you complete yosur assignments on time you should be fine. The StatCrunch and a Ti 84 calculator are very helpful. Also Professor Ndiaye is very excellent. He post everything on time, constantly send e-mail to remind us about deadline and important informations.

This class was 6 weeks and I must admit it is the hardest class I have ever taken in my life. The course work for the week was intense, learn how to use excel and the TI-84 calculator it will save you time.

I enroll for the 5 weeks summer. I took the same class with another Professor and failed. But with Dr. Ndiaye, this course seems easy. I learn a lot related to my life.

This was the best math class I think i've ever had. The class was well structured and also is a lot of work, but ultimately worth it. The professor was more than accomodating, very helpful, and had quick response time when it came to sending emails. I reccomend if you struggle with math/stats, take this prof.

Professor Ndiaye is great. He replies to emails and any concerns you may have on a timely manner. He does give lots of weekly assignments so be prepared and also group work is weekly and mandatory. This class is a lot of work, and there was a group project most weeks. But the course was asyncronous, he'd show exactly how to solve the current lesson in an optional group office hours, and he allowed multiple attempts at every homework, quiz, and project. It'd be hard to fail this class, he gives you EVERY opportunity for success. Fav class!

I really loved this class. I took MAT 150 as a Winter Session Course and I loved it. I have never learned so much in so little time. You need to put a lot of time, a lot of dedication. But he presents you the material in a lot of different ways, in this way you can choose the leaning method that works better for you!

TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. He is caring and very understanding! I took this course over the winter. It was a 3 week course. The way this course was put together is very organized. The work is very time consuming but what you put into the class, is the outcome you will receive. I loved that you can see your grades automatically on blackboard.

Wow this class was a lot of work!!! But I actually enjoyed it and I hate math. My back hurt from hours of doing work but at the end it pays off. The professor is organized and just was so smooth aside from really working hard at it. He will also drop some of your low grades.

This is my second time writing a review, I decided to go back and write a fair review. He is a great professor and will help you learn a lot about the material but make sure you schedule his class properly.

Class was async. There was a discussion board every week and a couple group projects. You basically read the textbook and watch a couple of videos followed by quizzes to show you got it and then a practice test and a test. You get multiple tries on everything and during the final he opened up past work so that you can try to improve your grades.

Prof. Ndiaye is excellent. I was nervous to take his class as I am not a math person, but he makes the subject very approachable. Tests were open note and he allowed multiple tries on the online homework. He really wants to help his students not only understand the material but also do well in the class. Encourages a lot of class participation.

He is very tough (as in the work is extremely hard, and there is a lot to cover), BUT if you put in the work, come to every class, and go to tutoring as much as you can he will look out and grade you generously. He also offers extra credit everytime to go to tutoring, which he doesn't have to do. I now know how to do data & standard deviation ETC

I was not sure how to feel about his grading style at first, but as the semester progressed, I noticed this is meant to help the students. He drops 3-4 of the lowest quizzes, 1-2 of the group assignments, and 3-4 of the checkpoints (tests). Open notebook tests help to pass.
