as long as you show up to class and prepare yourself for the presentations, you should get an A in the class. There are very few presentations and many of them are team-based.

Great proffessor to have for Bus Pres. Was good at giving good feedback to ensure students had the opportunity to be successful. Would take time to work with students individually as well to help them perform well in the class. Extremely Understanding and Easy-Going, wants every student in his class to succeed in and out of the classroom.

Professor Barrett cares about the students. He grades based on improvement in the class. Whether you are naturally good at presenting or not everyone will improve and he makes to involve everyone in the class.

Professor Barrett was an excellent C104 professor and my favorite professor during my first semester at IU. He really cares about your improvement and progression in presenting over the semester. PB was a fantastic professor during my first term here at IU. Every class was interesting and he kept all of us engaged throughout the lectures. He is very understanding and accepting when it comes to missed work or certain aspects of presenting that may be out of one's control. Would definitely reccomend.

Professor Barrett was very good at teaching business presentations, as he clearly made everybody in the class better at presenting, and his grading was fair based off of his students progress, and not just the quality of the presentations overall. He wanted his students to get better, so he graded based off of that.

Professor Barrett seriously made this class super enjoyable (I didn't even mind that I had this class at 4:45). He gives great feedback, is very engaged when teaching, and is seriously so so funny. I highly recommend having him as a professor and if he taught any other classes, I would sign up for them in a heartbeat.

Easily my favorite professor my first semester at IU, smaller class for Business Presentations meant he had a lot of time to help each individual student, he often stayed late after class to help, very entertaining and personable. Class is tough and a lot of work, but it doesn't seem too bad as he does all that he can to help guide you to success!

Seth is great and I recommend him to all of my friends taking C104 next semester. His class is very entertaining, he works to relate to his students and is understanding. If you have questions about expectations or about a grade he is very open to discussion. The only bad thing I have is that he is a slow grader/slow with feedback.

His grading is very clear with rubrics and shows/provides you with an "A+" quality presentation recording of a student from his previous semester for all presentations which is clutch. You have to prepare/practice to get a good grade, but I truly have never had a professor that wants all his students to succeed as much as professor barrett!!! #GOAT

Professor Barrett is a very good professor. He is a very young guy so he understands what your are going through if you have any problems. Tough grader but for a good reason, will force you to get better at presenting. A lot of times you will present to the class before your actual first grade which is good so then you can get used to it. Recommend

Professor Barrett is the best professor for Business Presentations. His lectures were very interesting and he got the class involved in every lecture. Be prepared to work hard for your grades, but if you put in the effort this class shouldn't be a struggle. One of the best teachers I've ever had and I do see huge improvements. Take his class!!

Mr. Barrett is goated. All his expectations are clear and reasonable, and he is there to support your development. He makes class fun and he has fewer projects than the other professors. He genuinely wants his students to do well, definitely take his course if you can.

Dare I say Icon? Prof. Barrett is definitely the professor you want for Bus Pres. He's funny and realistic but still holds you to high standards. Any textbook readings we had to do we read in class and then took turns going to the front and sharing something we learned. It was awful at first, but once you get comfortable in the class it's not bad!

Professor is a keeper!! Professor Barrett really wants the best for his students, is extremely fair, and very helpful when it comes to presentations. He schedules all presentations with our schedules in mind (accounting students having a midterm, he puts them at a later date). Definitely the best teacher for C104

One of the best Kelley professors. He is so approachable and wants you to do well. His lectures are very engaging anf funny also. Compared to other business pres professors he barely gives out homework and we only had 4 presentations the whole semester. Take business pre with Barrett if you can!!

I genuinely believe this was my favorite out of all my freshman classes. Something about Professor Barrett brought our whole class together, and now we're all friendly. He may seem stern at first, but it sets the flow. He cares about our improvement, and I definitely recommend him for improving in public speaking. The actual goat!

Professor Barrett is someone who will genuinely improve your public-speaking skills, but if you are looking for an easy A (and isn't naturally good at public speaking) I would recommend taking another teacher that is easier on grading. Great guy overall I just think the grading is a little harsh for a presentations class.
