Hez good i liked him.i didnt do much of work in his class was thinking that im not gna get a good grade. but ended up with a good grade. i think hez nice. though his testz are little hard. if u do ur work he really is a good professor.

i don't agree with the other person saying that he is never clear. well he is clear eventhough he is fast going. it is just that there are too many chap to cover. but key point is that he gives check points and enjoy the class.recomended but got a read!!!

Very tricky professor. He comes off with a smile and tells plenty of jokes in his class, but don't let the smile fool you. He will fail you in a minute. Be prepared and read the book front and back. Get ready for 100 question mid-term and final exams.

You will find him funny and easy-going dring the lecture. But when it comes to the exam, there is no such fun. There are two exams overall.(100 MCs each) The questions paper alone is about 16 pages. It just makes u scare. Just make sure u take 2 Tylenols after the exams and u will be fine...

very good professor, his exams are long, 100MC about 10 pages. you have to read the book and you would be fine on his exam. i got an A from his class. the final exam will from the department. (easier than his exam)

Mintz was great. I took him during Summer Session 1 last summer at 8:00am and I never once fell asleep or got bored. He's great! - I highly recommend him.

This is the 2nd day of class. He is a very nice prof. and is easy to talk to. I am Taking him for the winter session which is only 2 weeks long and I never once got bored in his class. Hopefully his tests are easy.

mid term and final are 100 m.c. each, plus couple of short answers on the final. i had a feeling that the exams were put together years ago and never been revised. wording is sometimes very tricky.

Mintz is THE BEST PROFESSOR IN QC! I took him for 361, 362 and Auditing. He's very clear and gives funny examples about certain cases so that his students can understand the material. True, anyone who gives him a bad remark should be VERY ashamed! Exams are tough but he is fair, understanding and curves big time! I wish they were all like him too..

I took his class this winter session (09) and really enjoyed it. I taught the class discussions were always interesting and he kept the class moving (unlike some teachers that don't know English or don't know what they are teaching). For the class you have homeworks, midterm, and final. If you do the reading and homeworks the test shouldn't be hard

he knows his materials. make sure u get enough check mark. he's test are long and triky, make sure you read the test book and take good class note. he does keep pick on people that he likes. overall i think he is preety good.

Nice professor. Pretty good on the material needed for exams and keeps the atmosphere relaxed and light. A lot of reading involved, but that's to be expected. Homework optional, but helpful for exams. Drops lowest grade of exams. Funny guy. Suggested I become a social worker. Will take again.

2 very hard exams with big curve, a lot of reading and nothing from class is on exams, exams very confusing and hard, easy B but very, very hard to get A/A- in his class, however, he is funny and class is relaxing, 4 brief cases which you can share with classmate, he has his favorite students so you have stay in first row and act that you are smart

How do you hate this man? He teaches materials crystal clear and is mostly based on the book you read! He's extremely helpful whenever you have questions. Do your role as a student. Read the book. Go to class. Participate. Those alone will give you good grades. Tests may have hard questions, but REALLY PEOPLE? HE CURVES IT SO BIG, YOU CAN'T FAIL.

Excellent prof. He explains everything clearly and will answer any questions you have. 100 question exams but gives a VERY generous curve, be a college student, STUDY. Very nice guy. Participation is important, so is attendance. Textbook only required to go over h.w. Uses Aplia.

Gives 100 question midterm and final. Writing Intensive course so there were 4 case briefs due. Gave chance for extra credit by presenting 1 of the cases to the class. H.W and aplia. Nice guy, teaches clearly and he is helpful.

He's a great professor, very clear and a really nice guy! I took him for both Business Law I and Business Law II. His exams are 100 multiple choice, but his curves are atleast 20 points! He tries to scare you a little before the exam, only because he wants you to study thoroughly. He gives a good review before exam! Its mostly memorizing. Take him!

He's great! He's so nice and sweet and loves to joke around. He teaches clear, 2 exams, 4 breifcases(aka bookreports) and class participation. His reviews tell you exactly what you need to know for the exam.. study that and you'll be good.

Textbook is essential for class! Homework is not checked,although its reviewed when due(strongly suggested). Lectures( esp. exam reviews) are very helpful, gives very detailed examplesscenarios. Exams are 100 questions (mch) and offers extra credit!

He talks very class and class can be very mundaneboring. You must get the book and do the reading if you want to pass the tests. The tests are 100 questions , hard. Avoid if you can, if you cant you must work hard but its possible. He also gives extra credit nearing the end of the semester.

He is a very good teacher. You need to really participate in order to pass. The tests are extremely challenging but if you read each chapter 2 times then you will score at least a 50.

Three MC tests. Gives extra credit. Must participate in order to get a good grade. I would take Prof. Mintz again. He takes interest in students who work hard.

Prof. Mintz was awesome! Gives great examples of subject matter, & clear. No mandatory Homework, but it helps as we go over it in class and participation is a HUGE part of your grade! Show up, participate, put in a little bit of work, participate and participate and you'll do well. Hard tests, but HUGE grading curve!! I will take him again.

Professor Mintz teaches in a clear way and gives interesting real life examples for the concepts. 2 long exams but not very complicated. I totally recommend!

Professor Mintz is really a nice guy and I took him in the Summer. He's an Easy A if you show up and participate. Also he doesn't do Multiple choice exams anymore because he ranted about how students took advantage of his exams. Therefore his exams is all written and it's pretty easy because it's all definitions. He gives good law advice to!

Mintz is an overall a great professor who cares about his students. He gives life lessons and career advises that would be meaningful later on. as for auditing he gave a lot of relevant examples in real world that I found to be useful. You have to participate in class to do well.

Professor Mintz is one of the most caring and easy professor in the Accouting department. He gives really good law advice, and his test use to be multiple choice but changed it to written. If you want to do well in his class make sure he knows who you are. Hoestly I did better in is law 2 then law1.

If you gutta take bus law take it with him. Midterm and final gives 15 questions and you only have to answer 10. I would take him again

Great Teacher, I took him over the Winter break and it was a great decision. He tells you exactly what he wants and his tests are clear and easy. His lectures are fast cuz he goes off topic so what I did was write the terms down and listened up for examples. I went to the library, borrowed the book, copy definitions. Its imp cuz thats his exams basically. Did after every class to stay caught up. not everything in the chapter is imp so u gotta go to class. Got an A. Gives snacks in exams!

Great professor, just show up to class and volunteer to read for credit. He makes jokes but he is very nice. Just memorize the terms he mentions because both his tests are short answers.

A genuinely nice guy with fairly easy tests. There's quite a bit of reading but I personally found it interesting.

he's the best choice for business law (both law 1 and 2) for law 2 if you take him for writing intensive (which i am currently) his papers are pretty straight forward choose 4 cases for a TOTAL of 12 pages (so 3 pages for each case) his exams are mostly definitions and are pretty much straightforward. also participate to read to get checkmarks.

The main rundown of his class is you come in, and read cases the whole class. BUT make sure you participate and volunteer to read because you get checkmarks for participation. Very important in getting a good grade. Just one midterm and the final. You get like 20 questions and just answer 10. However, the review for the tests aren't helpful at all

I didn't study almost at all and i got a B+. He explains everything you need to know in the lecture, but if you want to get an A then you need to study the textbook bc the reviews for the test aren't the best. That being said, getting a solid B is as easy as it gets and he's a funny guy. You'll actually enjoy taking this class
