Liked his class! He uses a lot of tools for teaching. sometimes it feels too much. lots of practice questions and online things. However its a tough course by definition!Plus Its HCC so you know how student level is! I like how he recorded lectures and uploaded them online he also gave huge bonus opportunities and lots of extra credit. big curve!

great professor! highly recommended. Dr Kilani is the best. you can tell he cares about his students and enjoys teaching. tests are not easy but if you listen to him you'll know many of the questions. Learned a lot in his class.

I took his class last semester and now I got in nursing school! thank you Dr kilani! I learned a lot in his class and it helped me get in! he makes you understand stuff and correlates it to medicine and everyday things he is funny too! Take him if you can his classes usually fill up fast

Im glad I took Dr Kilani! he explains things really well and if you do the Homewrok and the online stuff tests will be easy! dont get me wrong its a tough course but he makes it alot better. He is also super nice especially if you care about the class and do what your supposed to. Practicals are straightforwd if you learn your stuff. Awesome!

He taught this class as if we had nothing else in our lives to do but STUDY! As an instructor he should have realized that it was impossible for students to learn the material with 100% knowledge as if the course was taught in a regular semester. The material was overwhelming and I would not recomend taking you for a summer course.

Highly recommended wants us to succeed. Class was very organized and had many helpful teaching tools. lots of work but with all the extra credit and the online tools you would have to be brain dead not to at least make an easy C or B with some effort I was able to make an A average and learn a lot too

He was a great teacher! I am glad I took him, because he made the class easy. Although, there are many online assignments to do, which take over your life!

Dr. Kilani was an awesome prof!! Class was very structured. Work load is a bit much but ALL helpful in learning the material. Just read the chapters and do the learning modules a few times, along with the practice tests and you should be fine! Can't wait to take him again next semester!! I think Dr kilani's course is great.I don't agree with some of the previous evaluators. while his course is structured, well designed and you learn a lot. Its not easy!!! It takes a lot of effort and hardwork.youll do lots of work and it all helps.He also is very helpful and he cares. His online material takes up lots of time but its very helpful!

Dr k is the best!! he cares about us and our learning. he has a unique way getting you motivated and doing things on your own. He gives lots of homework online but it makes the course a lot better and you retain a lot

Dr kilani is the best hand down. If your not serious about this don't take him as his course is demanding. He cares and puts lots of effort in to his course. If your one of those people with magical thinking. Ill just attend and get a B or A you will be disappointed other wise take him i learned a lot in his class

dr kilani is amazing! he explains things really well and takes his time.he uses many resources and teaching methods. His labs teach to be independent (no spoon feeding) but he is always available to help you and show you things, you have to be active and engaged and wanting to learn

if you cannot keep up to quick lectures then kilani may be pretty difficult. most assignments (HW, quizzes, practice modules) are online so you have to check online EVERYDAY. the stuff isnt easy but if you bust your butt and read like crazy, you'll ace the class no prob

kilani's class is straight forward. the material is naturally difficult but if you read well and do homework this class will be a breeze not saying easy but you know exactly what to expect and you learn a great deal. I wish he taught all my other classes my life would be much easier :)

He's a fairly easy, you just have to study for the tests but the tests are easy if you just talk to him he will help you! You can find a lot of stuff online for the HW things and honestly he helps you out a lot! I got a lot of extra credits on your tests! and Practicals are easy if you learn everything form the list he gives you! Good luck

this ap course is really tough. I took it before taking kilani and i can tell you that its on of the hardest courses you can take regardless of the person teaching. He did give us chapter reviews online homework and quizzes. he was also allowing us to look at our tests and do an interactive version for extra credit. i did much better this time

I feel the need to defend dr kilani! his class was amazing i learned a lot his tests were tough but he also offered chances to bring up our grades. he is funny and relates info to everyday life i wish i had more professors like him.

I am glad i took this class with drK i learned a lot and i enjoyed going to class. anyone will tell you ap isnt easy but if you take it with him you know what to expect and he gives extra credit opportunities as well

Dr. K was a great teacher, however this was a difficult course. Except to do most of it by yourself because that is what is required, you MUST put in the time after school to see results. Test are hard so study hard! He was there to answer any questions and the lab test were easy because he made it very clear on what to study

The content that is taught in class can mostly be only understood if you have already read the textbook. For the love of god read the textbook if you want anything that's said in class to be relevant to you. If you are not a fan of reading the textbook, find a different professor. If you do read, there's a good chance you can maintain a high grade.

Really nice professor - cares about his students. He is really funny and keeps class interesting, for the most part. TONS of homework, which was mainly a waste of time. I took it over 5 weeks which I DON'T recommend. He constantly told me how high I was ranked in the class but I ended up with a B-, which shows how tough of a grader he is.

I took kilani over summer what a great choice. this is my 2nd time and I am so glad i signed up with him. his lectures are amazing only if you read before class. helps you understand and put things together. his lab was so straightforward and easier than other one I had if you follow directions and study his lab list and study recommendations.

he gave us a really hard test. I used to like his class but now not sure. He gives review sheets , notes which the test comes from. his explanations make sense if you read before but his tests are challenging I mean you really have to work hard. homework for every chapter and gives opportunities to improve grades still i wish he gave us the test

I took his lab. I like how he sets clear expectations to whats on the tests. he provides detailed lists for every lab exam. his tests are easy if you study the list. his lab encourages independance. He will answer any of your questions enthusiastically. I had a fun group and we learned a lot but enjoyed ourselves too

I like the way he explains things. He answered all my questions and concerns. very clear expectations and well organized; review sheets for every chapter. lab lists for the lab. Notes are provided and if you pay attention you will know what to expect for the test. he does care about out success and kept telling us how to study and prepare

he is funny! he is much more organized than my ap prof at Stafford. review sheet for every chapter, notes clear, test dates dont change last minute. If you study his notes really well i mean learn them forward and backwards you will ace his tests. can have dry humor sometimes but he is respectful and caring.

great lab learned a lot. had clear list of requirements (lab list) for every test. tests were easy and straight forward no surprises!

i took his online class and his lab. I am glad i took both with him. i was able to talk to him during labs and ask questions etc. he has recorded lectures , helpful videos, homework that is part of the grade too( counts highest you take it it as many times as you want) his tests are from the review sheets and notes. very helpful and kind

omg awesome lab! he gave us lists with very specific details on whats on the lab exam. He gave us solid notes with pictures that show up on the lab exam and his tests were super easy if you study those. I wish my other labs were like this. I also wish i took him for lecture because i like to know what to expect on tests etc.

He will give you the study guide for every test. If u study there is a big chance u will get a good grades. Do your homework and have them ready in time. tests are not that hard, but you will not get an easy A, you have to work very hard to earn it. Dr Kilani has a lot of knowledge, ask him a lot of questions, get as much as you can out of him.

Awesome prof. Does regular follow up and responds promptly to emails. His resources are very helpful too. Will take his class again. Great personality.

Dr. Kilani has really improved as an instructor. He has really become a great professor and he challenges the students in a good way. His course may be a bit tough but it helps you learn and to become a better overall student. I would love to take his courses again.

Dr. Kilani has clearly put forth a lot of effort, and I respect him as a teacher. HOWEVER, taking this class online... he gives you no review or even a vague list of topics for the exam. Test questions are TOUGH and University level. I am sure this will benefit me in the long run, but I am not sure if I will be able to get the grade I want.

took online. everything was laid out: recorded lectures, informative videos. notes. (used to prepare for tests and did great!),specific objectives for every chapter( topics for the tests) I wrote them out on my own and helped a lot. homework and case studies too. You can talk to him anytime over the phone! he has conference schedule all semester

Don't bother taking this class if you are not willing to put in lots of time reading and studying. Students that does not read and doesn't put in the time and effort outside of class will most likely fail his class or barely getting by. But if you are willing to read ahead, put in lots of effort and time outside of class, then this is a great class

Dr kilani is amazing. He has all resources to explain things online. in class we did questions discussions and games. He went over some main figures and concepts we had a great time in class. his tests are hard but if you study you will be ok this is a difficult class and I am glad I took him.

Dr K put a lot of thought into his classes; detailed review sheets, notes, recorded lectures homework etc. he sticks to his syllabus which i appreciate ( very predictable class) we had group activities questions clinical cases and games in class. i really learned a lot and enjoyed it. personally he is kind and funny. he really wanted us to suceed

I had him for lab and lecture. I struggled first but he was very supportive kept talking me through things and giving me tips and ways to study: never gave up on me! I finished with a well deserved B thank you Dr K. many hesi questions i answered were because of his class!

he is challenging but in a good way. I took his course and I knew how tough it was. I am glad I did. He really helps you learn things and become much more independent. I know i will be able to handle nursing school!. dont give up on yourself or you dreams.

this is by far one of the best labs I had. really straightforward every single question comes from lab list. no surprises here. all you have to do is study items on list and bam you get an A. just stay away from losers in the lab they will drag you down

I struggled at first but when I prepared for class like he said I did great. his canvas has everything you need: notes review sheet videos and homework. in class we did discussions games questions and he explained difficult and important things. take notes he gives lots of hints for the test. I learned alot and managed to turn things and got an A

I took him the 8 week session: he was very organized we knew what we needed to do to get the grade. his tests are not easy but if you study and attend labs you will know what to expect. Very kind and caring but firm as well. I enjoyed his lab and i recommend it.

i had kalani for ap 2 last semester. his class was really tough. he did have resources recoded lec etc and at the time i wasnt really happy with my choice. you know what after my first year in nursing i am soooo glad i took him! all the studying i had to do to survive his class payed off big time! his class is superhard but its worth it

did ap2 lab with this prof and it was really good. tests were tough but he was helpful. had lectures on every topic ( used to quiz us and ask us lots of questions whihc i didnt like but i guess it made me study. his tests were very detailed many slides and cadaver pictures and modles etc. we also had tests over models and such.

took kolani for 2302 it was an excellent choice. his class is tough but i learned so much. he was very helpful and responsive unlike many other instructors i had. very cler syllabus and objectives for every chapter cover his notes well and do homework really help your grade .

I am enjoying taking his class. He is really cool and funny. I also like how he is always tying it to applications and medical situations. its a tough class but I learned a lot and I am really happy i took him

I didn't like him when i took him however I kicked butt on hesi and nursing school. I feel bad i left a bad review before. I just didnt understand why his class was so hard but know I get it. If you arent serious about nursing dont take him. If you are take him and tough it will pay off 100 times more later. if you want an easy A go somewhere else

I took his Ap1 course and I didnt like him to be honest. when I went to ap2 I realised how much i learned and how well i was prepared. I took him for 1309 online. it was an easy class very straight forward with test reviews etc. he was very understanding and helpful when I contacted him. I heard he was really handsome but couldn't confirm because i didn't see him in person :)

Do not procrastinate in this class! On his tests you can only see the what you got wrong right after and then its locked. It won't tell you what the correct answer. So my advice, go back over that whole chapter. Keep refreshing over all the chps because i was good on the current chps but he adds previous chps and i forgot so much. Awesome teacher!!

hands down best prof i had at HCC. this course is the toughest I had at HCC. this is 2nd time i took it. I wish I had him first time. he was so organized and very helpful. He took the time to talk to me and give me advise. I feel much better about my chances to get into nursing school. If you want to go nursing he is the best choice.

i am really glad i took this course it was well organized to the point and I got an A!!! I needed a science credit and I heard good things about her class. if you do all the assignments the tests are easy breezy. take this course!!!

BEST SCIENCE CLASS EVER!!! glad i took this class. I really learned a lot about biology and science but at the same time I did well on the course. class is organized very informative and gave us lots of extra credit. make sure you complete all the assignmnts online quzzes etc. glad I dont have to take any more science classes!!!!

he clearly worked really hard on designing his course. Its tough but you lean a lot. He is very supportive and really helpful when you reach out to him. He had several one on one meetings with me and was very patient and understanding.

i am writing this to say mainly one thing: he knows how to teach online! which is more than I can say about many other instructors. clearly he he is expert level when come to online. course was well organized, office hours via webex are there you can always reach him. steady pace no surprises. course is tough and challenging but doable. he cares!

had a great class with him. really paid off later. He is tough but gives lots of support. only take him if you are motivated to be better at A&P. If you are serious about nursing he is your prof. very helpful when you reach out to him.

Lol at ppl who cheat and then leave bad reviews. YOU FAILED THE ENVIRONMENT CHECK BECAUSE YOU WERE USING SOCRATIC/QUIZLET DURING EXAMS. Dr. K is VERY strict on cheating so the wrong people don't get a boost for nursing school. Other than that, he's extremely kind, helpful and accessible during office hours (which are ample) AND curves your grade.
