Compartive Goverment class... Spring 2002... and we have the last two weeks of school to write 2 huge papers worth 2/3 of our final grade?? = ABSOLUTE CRAP!!!!

all i have to say is he is the hardest professor i have ever taken at this school if i was smart i would have dropped his class right away i got a d plus and that was what he considered a good grade for my class thats how hard he was DONT TAKE HIM

Worst teacher I've ever had in my life. His tests had nothing to do with what he taught...and he's someone who should really reconsider their profession. Steer clear of this guy is the best I can say...or your GPA will sink!

i cant exagerate enough how hard his classes are. take his class for your major not for a GER his tests have NOTHING to do with his lectures or study guides. you're entirely on your own. taking his class was the biggest mistake i've made here.

he is the WORST professor i have ever had in my 4 years at BSC... didnt learn a thing and he forgot to give us tests so we took 3 in one for the final. my grade is based on what i taught myself i didnt take any notes... he loves talking about himself DONT TAKE HIM!

I hated these 2 classes. He seemed like a nice guy but sometimes was hard to understand, and I just hated the material so I didn't really pay attention. Papers in Gov. were ridiculous. Tests in Rel. weren't too too bad. I wouldn't take him but he's the only pol. sci teacher for these classes.

He is definetly the worst professor I have ever had. It's basically a self-taught course except you have to go to class and listen to his bullsh*t 3 times a week. He talks about NOTHING that has to do with the class and tests specifically by the book. He's NOT intelligent and definetly NOT funny.. The only peopole who think so are kissing a**

He sucks. Theres nothing fair about his class at all. he wants to fail so he thinks his class is challenging but its just useless you learn nothing..unless youre an a** kisser who likes to read the entire textbook for no reason STAY AWAY

Ditto to the last comment. This class was my only "C" in my 3 years of all "A"'s because this prof is more concerned about his affairs and not concerned about teaching ANYTHING unless it involves HIS life! I can't believe they allow someone who knows NOTHING about teaching to present an interesting course like this.

Tenured? How sad! Spews the same pious, irrelevant, superlative drivel and contrived stories in every course. "Smart?" Don't buy his constant FAULTY LOGIC. Garrulous obfuscation does not equal intelligence nor a worthy professor. Post-tenure review please! Even if you love these subjects (as I do) he is agonizing. Moz: PLEASE check yourself.

Please do your self a favor and dont take any of his classes unless you want to spend all of your time writing papers that have nothing to do wit what he was talking about in class. He is arrogant and thinks that he is the s***.

This guy is a poor-quality instructor. Claims class is extremely hard - I went maybe four times and passed with a C+. Rambles incoherently about topics that have nothing to do with the course.

Does not care about how you do.

He is the worst professor I've ever had. You kind of get the feeling that he does not even read your essays and that your grade does not reflect the time and effort you put into them. His stories are mildly interesting, but not when he's repeated it about seven times during the semester. In short, avoid him like the plague.

He loves the sound of his own voice. Granted, he is unbelievably intelligent about political science, he is just far too arrogant to connect with. He'll brag about the articles he's written and the people he knows (including Barrack Obama's staff). We were supposed to have 4 tests, we had one and then all other material compressed into the final.

This professor is horrible. I took his class for honors credit and we had 3 papers the whole semester. He does not give enough time to complete the papers. The first paper is not give until late October and the last 2 he assigned during finals week and expected 10+ pages. He is not willing to listen to student opinions. DO NOT TAKE HIM!!!

This guy is exceptionally arrogant. He allways rants about his own genius and how intelectually lazy or analitically stupid everyone else is, especially if they disagree with him. Don't bother asking any questions or participating altogether, just regurgitate what he tells you in your essays. You'll get a low B/high C. Don't take unless you have to

Just a suggestion: DON'T EVER TAKE HIM! He's an arrogant person who only emphasizes the fact that he has a PhD. He likes to embarrass you and he also likes to make himself supperior to any of his students. Read the book, take the 3 exams and dont show up in calss bcus it doesn't do much for you.Im an A student and I got a D... it's your call...

pretty awful teacher. talks nonsense all class and expects us to already know what he's supposed to be teaching us. For one of the essays, he literally said "i don't expect you to understand the material, just write an essay on it" and so i got the lowest grade of my college career. The sound of his voice also puts you to sleep

Do you like professors who love to talk about themselves? Do you enjoy spending more than hour listening to rants about you're dumb and don't know anything about the government? Does only having two of the three scheduled tests interest you? Then this is the professor for you!

This man was horrible. We had one test all semester. He made the final count for 75% of the grade. If you have no choice and have to take him, just read the book. His lectures have nothing to do with the test. I have never rated a professor but I had to because he was that bad

This class was miserable. DON'T EVER TAKE A CLASS WITH THIS PROF. He is arrogant and you can hardly understand him. His lectures are irrelevant, and the book is of no use. He does not honor the syllabus with his grading policies. I was supposed to have 3 tests then ended up taking 1 test for 75% of my grade. This class will kill your GPA.

Long winded and disrespectful. There is a difference between a rhetorical exercise and flat-out insulting students, Dr. Mozzaffar is partial to the latter. Participation in this class will yield you a lower grade than just keeping your mouth shut. Dr. Mozzaffar is also quite defensive over his misunderstanding of American history. Avoid him.

I was in this mans class for 2 weeks and I have never been so shocked that a professor is allowed to speak the way this man did. He is seriously an awful person if you want to take his class than be ready to be cussed at, talk about things that are not apart of the class, difficult grading, and overall a man who will say terrible things.

If you can avoid this guys avoid him. long winded discussions that goes nowhere. He's a really smart guy maybe too smart for his own good, therefor he cannot teach. the course is so disorganized. we only had taken one test by mid November and then were forced to take two tests on the day of final just because he needed three grades. very stressful.

Terrible professor. Your grade is made up from 3 exams and maybe attendance. so exams make up 90% of your grade. All you do is sit there in class and listen to him go on and on about the same things every time. would not take unless you have to..

Talks a lot about absolutely nothing during class. Same 3 jokes will be repeated at minimum once a class. First half of the semester was spent doing absolutely nothing. If you disagree with him on anything he will not even attempt to argue, he will just yell and call you an idiot. He seems like a nice guy im just not sure he should be teaching.

I consider myself to be a good student who studys and rarely misses a class. However I found that in this class none of that matters, no matter how hard you study the exam questions will still stump you. This professor is not understanding either most students were afraid to speak up in class because he was so mean. Avoid taking this class!!
