Professor Jannah is a very friendly Professor and can get confused sometimes in her lectures since she is relatively new. However, she is a Professor that genuinely cares about the well-being o her students, and if you are struggling, you should enlist the help of the math tutoring center or ask her for help. Professor Jannah might just be one of the nicest professors I've had out of my first year of college. While she do give homework per class, they're relatively simple and easy and even if you missed it, she'll always give you a chance to make it up. Regardless of what classes shes teaching, if you see her name, I'd recommend if you want an A.

Algebra (or maths for that matter), is not my forte or strong point, but Professor Jannah is great about explaining the concepts and formulas--and if you are stuck outside of class trying to work out a problem, she is very good about emailing back and attaching examples. So don't hesitate to reach out if you get stuck!

I came from a less-than academic standing high school, and I nearly failed math 3 times as a teenager. In this class, I have learned everything that I need to know, and I've been getting 90s on exams and homeworks (Thank you for being understanding there with me at the beginning!), and I've never felt more confident in the subject than before.

Professor Jannah is perhaps the best math professor whose class I have had the pleasure of taking in my entire academic career. I have always struggled with math, to the point that it has served as a source of trauma (not kidding lol) and she was so kind, caring, and patient with me. PreCalculus lecture was the best math class I ever took. The material is difficult at times but Prof Jannah makes it so easy to access the information and is always willing to answer questions. She responded to my complex questions as late as 1AM! I never felt underprepared for an exam because of her reviews! The Lumen website helps a lot too!

The Professor really tried her best in each lecture, she went through the problems, added commentary, and her thinking process. The homework problems were not too tough as long as you paid attention to the lecture slides and her example problems (which are homework questions and problems that are similar to how they would be formatted in her exams)

Classes are pretty simple. Simple pp slides with simple questions. Her tests are very similar to the questions she gives as practice during class, so there arent any tricks or anything. She is a very straightforward teacher. As a person she is really kind and forgiving.

Yes, the materials are hard in this class, but she clearly teaches how to identify main parts in the Qs to figure out which formula should be used! Class was very easy, prof was always nice, and tests were very reasonable - she allows cheat sheets!

She is very lenient. I missed many recitations, but she let me do them at the end so that I don't loose my A in the class! She is also super nice, friendly and care for her students. She wasn't required to do any review for exams, but she did them anyway so we can do well! Too bad, many students didn't care about her reviews,so dropped the class!

The material in all the lectures are on the exam, just pay attention to her lectures and you'll do well. Grading is straight forward, and most of your grade is through exams like all the other math classes at Hunter. She's really caring and tries to cater to your needs, take her.

Her class is very easy and straight forward. Exams are 80% of your grade, HW, is 20%. She's very caring and attentive, and all the material on the exams are in her lectures. Take her, she's an easy A.

She gives very thorough notes and reviews before every test. She's also very understanding and extended the HW until after the final as it was a summer course and she wanted us to focus on studying.

Since this was summer class, I had to work to my bone to earn my grade! She made things much easier for us, but still we had to play our parts as well! As long as you work hard, you'll get a decent grade.

She's really kind and her lectures are really helpful. Definitely study the topics she teaches every week so you don't have to cram everything in the end cause there's a lot of formulas to learn.

Like all the reviews says, great teacher! I had her before in Calc1. Whatever class she teaches, I understand the material. This statistics class was definitely hard, but she was able to make accommodations such as recording the lecture which was a big help when studying for the final. Undoubtedly one of the best professors in the Math Department!

Very good explanation, always good and positive, she makes sure everyone understands the material. Professor Jannah is one of the best teachers I have ever had, achieving something that I never thought possible: making Stat fun! She has a wonderful energy and is passionate about teaching, and making sure people know how to solve every problem. Anyone would be lucky to study in her classroom.
