Okay, I just started taking this course in Heathrow. Couldn't tell you much, but I can tell you that this is a hard course! Lots of work. Worse, the "yawn" level with the professor in the class is VERY high, so for a nightside class of 4+ hours, this is horrible! Will keep you posted by the end of the semester. So far I'm wanting to drop.
Might as well take the class online if you take him. He's a nice guy, but a bad teacher. It was a stats class and he did not even do ONE practice problem!! You lose points if you don't attend class. The way I have made it throug is I read the book and got into a good study group. I had no idea what I was doing for the research paper.
Took him with cognitive. Worse class of my life. It's a difficult subject, but with him teaching it, I just got more confused. Nice guy, bad teacher.
I have never rated a professor, only read about them but felt compelled to share with you that your writing your own death wish with him!!! ENOUGH SAIDDDDDD!!!!!!!! I have a 3.8 GPA & I couldnt even get a B! Hes sooo nice (& brilliant) but the worst teacher that cant teach!
Took him for Statistical Methods and he is a very nice man but do not expect him to teach you at all. I pretty much taught myself everything and thankfully I passed with an A. However, he does want you to pass so he curves all the exams so people get better grades.
I took this course online. Definitely not as frightening as I thought it would be. Open book quizzes and tests got me an A! The lab is really simple. The course is organized well and youre given plenty of time and notice for everything.
Material went from very easy to very hard after the first 5 chapters. His TA is very helpful if you have a question. You get two attempts at quizzes and 4 hours to take the tests. Very organized class. The material is hard but he makes it very possible to get an A. He also offers extra credit. The lab is an easy A.
Such a nice professor. The material is hard, but he tries his best to make the course manageable. I got an A in this course and I struggled with the material a lot. He gives curves if you do well so everyone try your best and have a positive attitude. TA and students very helpful. Lab easy.
Very nice Professor. Answered all my questions, even befroe the semster started. He is also very aware of the fact the Statistics is like Greek villages to most of us, and helps anyway he can. The curves and two tries for quizzes saved me. Thank you very much!
I came in thinking this class would be impossibly hard online. However, this professor is making it very doable. There is a ton of curving but its nice because the material is very difficult. Nice guy, offers interesting tibits at the beginning of each week :) I say take this class with this professor.
I took Stats online and I did pretty well. He seems nice and understanding. If you're going to take it online, you have to be organized though...weekly quizzes! Definitely not as hard a class as I thought- he definitely made it a little easier considering I'm math illiterate.
Took Cognitive Psych online and this class is a piece of cake. As long as you read your textbook and look over his notes you will get a 100. One quiz a week on one chapter, 3 tests. There's 1 project that I freaked out over but got a 100 on. Easy, easy, easy.
I have taken many online classes with different professors, and he is by far the most organized, precise, and helpful one. The subjects may be challenging but it is not stressful because of this professor. He also has excellent TAs, but he will respond also to any questions one may have. Take him if you can. It is worth it!
Took both his cognitive psychology course and stats methods in psychology online. Relies almost exclusively on the textbook. Often times questions are very vague and not located in the book or (short) notes. However, offers a ton of extra credit and answers emails very promptly. Got a high A in both classes pretty easily.
I took Cognitive Psychology with this Professor over the summer(Online). The class wasn't that hard at all. Your given a quiz a week with 25 questions and he gives you 2hrs to complete it. The project wasn't hard at all but I would suggest getting it out of the way. All of his questions on the quizzes/exams are in order as well and that helps a lot
By far the best online class I've ever taken. He's organized and doesn't want you to stress out about anything. There is only one project and although time consuming, isn't particularly difficult. You can also choose your own topic for the project. He mostly wants you to have a general understanding of the information.
was easier than STA 2023 to me. very nice sweet professor. does not make things overly hard. TA was helpful with clues too. buy textbook and spss software. must read chapters, i think that was too fast paced. dont procrastinate on the huge project that requires spss software!
easy, very nice sweet professor. helpful. buy ebook from ichapters. does not make cognitive overly hard. got A.
Took Dr. G online; super generous with time limits on quizzes and tests; don't have to actually use SPSS, just familiarize by reading provided material online. Older edition of textbook sufficient until you get to Chapter 17 (last quiz), but you can still figure it out. Great T.A.'s. Never liked stats, still don't, but it's manageable!
This class was pretty interesting. Took this class online and the work material wasn't too bad at all. Gives you four hours to take the quiz and the exam. If you ask me thats way more than enough time to me. Definitely need the book for this class. Overall, really good professor and the TA for the class is good also.
He is great! I took him for cog psych and stat methods of psych (both online) and found him SO straight forward & simple. it's all self study. as for stats, if u arn't good at the basics of stats, dont take it online..as for getting an A--if you READ the txtbks, you will get an A. get the e-book for cog psych. TAKE HIM.I recommend him!
Dr. Ghiasinejad is absolutely terrific! I took stat methods online and it was very do-able. The assesments are cake, but the material isn't. You for sure need to know what you're talking about. He's always there to help, as well as the TAs. TAKE HIM! Awesome, easy, helpful. Got an A.
This man is my GOD.Took him during summer A online 6 weeks. YOU NEED the book and i suggest the study guide book. IT IS self taught so you have to spend at least an hr on each chapter. If you actually try you can pass with an A. I'm terrible with any type of math and I passed with an A.
Took online. Must teach yourself the material. I recommend reading the chapter - easiest way to grasp the info. Occasionally a lab online. Quizzes get 2 attempts - easy to pass with a good grade. Tests get 1 try & INCLUDE SPSS PROGRAM! He doesn't respond unless you message him directly. If I had to retake, I wouldn't mind doing it with him again.
Statistics is hard but this class was just fine. I took it online and you MUST keep on top of your quizzes, do all of them, you get 80 extra points with the quizzes which helps cushion. Exams were not easy but plenty of time (4 hrs, for the SPSS questions best thing is just download the program and use it so you can see the steps for test q's
The class is not that hard at all, and he makes it very flexible. Yes you WILL have to teach yourself the material from the book, but the quizzes are pretty easy and you get two attempts. The tests aren't too bad either and he gives you plenty of time. Download the education copy of SPSS it'll help A LOT.
I am currently taking this class online right now. The class is not bad at all, although it is self taught being online. However everything is laid out clearly and there are no surprises. there is also extra credit. the class moves at a very reasonable pace as well. I would, and plan to, take more classes with him.
I love Dr. G! He really is a sweet guy! He genuinely cares about his students! I'm currently in my second class with him & love it! I took Stat. Methods for Psych. with him & it was easy- 2 tries per quiz! I'm taking Cog. Psych. with him now & it's great! His classes are easy As :) Dr. G is definitely my number one choice for the classes I've taken
Dr. G. genuinely cares about his student's success. He will help you to the end of the world in order to have a great grade in his class. Keep him informed, get the book as you'll use it heavily, and actually try in the class and you'll have the best experience ever with him.
Great teacher. Easy course. I fully recommend him for this course.
I didn't learn anything from this class and I didn't understand anything from this class. I don't know what youa re expecting from this professor but if you are expecting to learn than don't do this class. If you are looking for a class that you are going to get a C or above than take this professor.
Easy A, if you are a psych major who just wants an A for stat methods, and are not good at math, take him!
DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!!! HE IS BY FAR THE WORST PROFESSOR I'VE EVER HAD!!! I sat in a 4 hour STAT class with him and all he does he read slides to you. NO EXAMPLES. If you read the book yourself, don't bother coming to class. VERY unclear on assignments and what he wants. NO study guides for tests or exams. He doesn't show up for test days.
Easiest online class. I forgot that I was taking this class sometimes because I literally did no extra work or study for it. Just took the quizzes and tests on the fly. Plenty of time for them so just look up the answers in your book if you're unsure. He gives out extra points like they're candy. The lab activity is cake. Easiest A.
I really love professor G! He made every effort to give us extra credit and made the class stress free. 3 tests, quizzes every week. Lab assignment due at end of semester. Each exam and quiz gave you 3+ hrs to complete so no need to feel rushed. Material is somewhat difficult if you're not good at math and can't teach yourself.
Pretty easy class. Lab is due at the end of semester but most answers are already given. Quizzes are cake if you invest in CourseHero. Gives you 2 chances & hours to finish them. Exams are a little more difficult but you still have a lot of time and he offers extra credit! Hardest part of the class was downloading SPSS lol. DON'T BUY THE TEXTBOOK.
Prof G is one of the best to take for stats at ucf. He cares about his students & great communication. NEED TEXTBOOK. 3 tests, 1 presentation project, participation (its the homework which is the questions at the end of each ch), lab activity (SPSS). The tests are hard but he curved the last test! Definitely recommend :)
Make sure you get the textbook!
Textbook is a must! It is basically your guide to passing. He is very personable for an online class with his encouraging and positive notes. Material can be hard but often curves exam grades. If you understand the quiz questions, you should do well on the exams.
Literally Easy A if you pay for Course Hero and Chegg. All the quizzes can be found on like quizlet but the exams were no joke, you needed like a payed subscription. Honestly unless youre willing to pay 70 for an easy A take this class. but honestly i wish i would of taken it in person with a class. But all in all the TA and Teacher were super nice
I took this class over the summer and while it was a pretty easy A, I didn't learn anything. It's hard to learn when it's online and too easy to look up answers. He's a great professor and very nice. I would definitely take him again but if you're trying to get a clear understanding of stats and find the subject challenging don't take it online.
If you dont care about learning the material this class is for you! ALL the quizzes are on quizlet. The SPSS was hard at first (cause its like new to you) but its literally follow the directions and easy. The test were actually hard though. I had to cough up $70 to pay for sites like chegg and course hero to give me answers for test. He does curves
3 exams that are sorta easy. SPSS activity assignment. Quizzes that are simple (course hero helps). No need for the textbook. It's an online math class so, yeah. He will help out so not worry.
I hate math. So naturally i dreaded having to take this class, let alone online. Turns out it was easy and consistent. He was very involved in the class. Had lots of trouble with SPSS but even without that i still had a good grade. Quiz every week, only three tests, and no midterm or final.
I really like prof Ghiasinejad! This is my second class with him and he's very clear about instructions. There are quizzes on every chapter and 3 tests. The research paper is the only hard/time consuming part of the class! The tests are a little tricky but if you read the book it's not that bad!
I took Dr. G for Cognitive Psychology online. His grading instructions are clear, and you will know what to expect. He provides a powerpoint and a chapter to read each week. You will have a quiz every week, and three exams covering multiple chapters. One term project that is time consuming but easy if you don't procrastinate. Would take again.
Professor Ghiasinejad is was understanding when it came to the hurricane Irma. He changed the deadlines for assignments, so that students would be able to attend to their personal problems caused by this disaster. I had a problem with SPSS program during the class, but was able to figure it out later, for which I would like to thank his assistant.
going to class feels like a waste of time. prefers "class discussion" (even when it barely relates to class) rather than power point or actually "teaching." some students love him, but he's not a good fit for me. exams are online (kinda tough). "lab activities" online (easy). and a term project. overall he's OK and it's not a tough class to pass.
Easy A, tests are on quizlet. Classes are discussions as reviewers described but I at least found them enjoyable.
EVERYTHING is on Quizlet or Course Hero. I chose not to do the 100 points of SPSS lab activity and only posted 1 time in the discussion area and still got 100% for participation and even without the 100 lab grade I passed with a B+. If you only need this for a grade and don't care to learn, easiest class ever.
If im being honest I only went to two of his classes and still managed to get a 88. All of his exams are online and not proctored. He has three main assignments over the semester. A term project, 10 at home online lab activities and a large participation assignment. I highly recommend, hes very understanding and the class is an easy pass.
Class was okay but the TA'S are horrible. Had to file a report for discrimination.
This class had 1-2 tests every week, a group project, survey, and participation grade. I took it online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The professor is very nice and gave extra points for missed questions on the tests. You have to read the book cause that's what the tests are based on. Participation is 15 discussion posts.
If you are taking this class bc you think its going to be easy, and find everyone online don't do it. You will not find anything online only for quizzes, but when it comes to exams you're screwed. does not do any lectures, so you will be lost the entire semester. Definitely kicking my butt rn.
I dont like when ppl come on here and lie tbh. I took the class due to the previous reviews and idk if its because of covid. I took the class online and let me say that if it wasnt for the group me with my classmates I wouldve failed. He doesnt teach you at all, you read the book and do the test that are weighted VERY heavy. DO NOT TAKE HIM !!
Professor Ghiasinejad is absolutely amazing!! Theres 3 tests, weekly quizzes, and other assignments to be done throughout the semester including a group project, lab, and participation. Make sure you read the textbook for the tests (very specific). Its completely doable and hes sooo nice! Really cares about his students! Definitely take him!
I took this professor for Cognitive Psychology and really enjoyed the class. The textbook was interesting and engaging and the lectures the professor posted really helped me review what I read in the book. One thing I didnt like was that the group project was difficult in the sense that it was hard to get in contact with the other students.
I suck at stats. Most answers for quizzes are online though-- tests not so much, but old exams you can find at least similar problems and make educated guesses. He gives extra credit/curves test. Honestly surprised I got a B, but he is a good professor to take for this difficult course. Very generous and kind.
Prof Ghiasinejad is very nice and definitely cares about his students and wants you to pass. Statistics is a hard class no matter who you take it with, but he did his best to organize the class and make it accessible. Gave extra credit points just because he was proud of how his students were doing. I personally did a ton of studying and got an A.
I took this prof. because of the excellent reviews. DO NOT TAKE HIM. Test 1 is 30%, Test 2 and 3 are 25% of your grade. That's 80% of your grade in tests. If you bomb the first test good luck in the rest of the semester. The extra credit that the other reviews like to talk about is worth 2% and below for your final grade.
I wasn't worried about taking this class from the reviews here but that was a mistake!! The majority of your grade is based off three exams and he provides horrible study material and the tests are very difficult. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!! This is the worst class I have ever taken at UCF!
Prof G. is very caring & wants his students to pass but OMG! Its a fight to the bitter end! Avg on 1st exam was 85-90%, midterm & final were 30%. Just absolute carnage! I had a few classmates in another course, all stated his mid & final exams left them in tears. God send, he grades exams on a curve. No lectures either, so you're teaching yourself.
Took Spring 2021 online. I didn't learn a single thing from this class. No lectures, expected to learn straight from the textbook which I never bought, used free pdf. He allowed me to resubmit an SSPS final output assignment late because of an error which was nice. He holds optional zooms for questions but not to teach. They vary on days and times
Professor is very kind, and easy class if you use the book to help you
Im bad at math so this is the hardest class ive ever taken. only take this class online if youre dedicated to teaching yourself, spending HOURS studying. prof is amazing and curves the exams. tons of opportunities for extra credit to boost your grade. still, be warned! this is not an easy class by any means.
You have to basically teach yourself everything and there is very little help or room for improvement. He also offers no help or video lectures.
Professor Ghiasinejad is amazing! The course load is quite hefty but he walks you through all of the assignments. He is super understanding and knows there is a lot of work to be done, so he allows for curving and extra credit. There are three exams, participation assignments, and 2 larger projects. They seem like a lot at first, but he will help.
Overall, Dr. G and this class is pretty solid and not the hardest thing ever. It is a class where you can work at your own pace, and both him and his TA do a phenomenal job making sure you understand the material. You have weekly textbook assignments, an SPSS assignment, and a 20 page research proposal to do, but its not the worst thing ever.
Great professor, understands that not everyone who is passing through his class intends to become a statistician. Puts more emphasis on the concepts rather than actual problems where you need to memorize the formulas. Only issue is that he uses honorlock for exams, but still allows notes, textbook, and calculators so really shouldn't be an issue.
I was very nervous but the TA's are amazing and break down the problems for you. You have to pay attention and understand the concept completely. But if you use the book and notes and TAs you should be fine.
You will have weekly quizzes based on readings and ppt notes, 3 exams, easy lab project (you'll need to download SSPS) and a participation assignment. Exams are open note/closed book and live proctored. TAs are very helpful and respond to emails quick. Get the textbook, ppt notes alone will not help. No extra credit, but he curves exams.
Quizzes are on Quizlet but you actually need to know the material for the exams because its honor lock and camera proctored. Quizzes are due on Tuesdays.
Took online during the summer. Hardest class I ever took. 96% of your grade is based on outrageously specific and hard tests. Each test is 50-75 questions and Honorlock is used. Get ready to teach yourself. Do not take him, his class will destroy your GPA.
Dr. Ghiasinejad is a good professor, but he does not interact with the class, only when grades are posted or when it is a new week. The tests are fairly easy but can plunge your grade, be sure to write down every word you see on PowerPoint, glossary, and homework problems in each chapter. He curves every exam grade which is great!
The class was just a bit tricky. There are 3 exams, which take up the majority of your grade. All exams are done through Lockdown Browser so you really have to know the material. There are assignments through Inquizitive due every week but they're pretty easy. There's also a research proposal paper that isn't as hard as some make it seem.
The class itself is a pretty difficult class but he makes it very easy for you. as long as you take your chapter notes and do the online homework (which is a game that you answer questions and gain or lose points), you will be more than fine. Curves exams when needed and also rounds up grades when needed. Take!!
He will take one sentence out of the whole chapter and test you on it so you'll need to read the chapters MULTIPLE times. Exams are now honor locked but quizzes aren't. Not too bad, the term project is okay but def time-consuming. The quizzes dont change your grade much so everything is exams ( only 3 exams ) and a term project. he's okay.
I took this Professor for Cognitive psychology as an online class, his class is not bad at all his TA's are really helpful, You need to work hard for a good grade, quizzes are easy but the tests which are 3 are with honorlock, he lets you use notes. Make sure to take good notes and you will be fine!
The class was easy and the prof lets you know his expectations. There aren't many assignments and I forgot to do a few things, but overall pretty easy course. The tests are honorlock but you're able to use notes, able to wear headphones and even use the restroom. It's a very lenient course.
One of the best professors I have taken at UCF! He has a very clear grading criteria, and gives extra points on exams based on how the class did. Easy grader, simple quizzes. I got an A+ in the class with light effort. Great teacher and cares about his students.
This class is going to be difficult regardless of who you take it with. Do yourself a favor, choose this professor! I was terrified and took the class online. This professor is interactive, curves exams, responds to emails, provides extra credit, and cares about student success. Lab + Participation grades super super easy once you figure them out.
This class isn't terrible however the tests were extremely specific and hard. There are 4 tests that are proctored, 50 questions with about 3 hours to take. You can use typed notes however even after printing out every powerpoint and having pages worth of notes i still did not do well on the tests. There is an annoying paper and inquizitives too
I thought this was going to be my hardest course but it was surprisingly my easiest class taken. Professor G. truly cares about his students and the workload is not much at all. Exams are a bit heavy but are open note, as long as you do the work and prepare yourself for the exams, you'll pass
This professor is an awful communicator and does not make information/rubrics on big assignments readily available online. Do not take unless you are prepared to do literally everything on your own. They have not been helpful or communicative throughout the semester whatsoever, it is aggravating finding out you have things due last second.
This is the second time I take professor Ghiasinejad and his quizzes and exams are very easy, the topics and classes are okay. Overall, the class is easy, just has weekly quizzes and a term project and participation points
Super caring and generous professor. He gave us extra points after every test and added 10% to everyone's grade at the end. There was a lengthy (20+ page) research paper that took up the bulk of the semester's work. Highly recommend
Expectations are clearly set, plenty of time is given on tests, and multiple teaching assistants are available for help. Tests are proctored on honor lock but notes are allowed.
Professor Ghiasinejad is a nice professor, but has laid out his grading criteria with little wiggle room to improve your grade. He is test-heavy, so if you're not the greatest test-taker, then get ready to study a ton or find a different professor. 3 exams, one paper, and lots of reading. Proctored exams, but notes were allowed.
Took PSY2012 online for a summer semester and while it was difficult, I do not regret taking it. For this semester, our overall grade was based solely on tests which were kinda difficult and based on the book (each chapter is a long read). TAs are always available to help and the study guides he posted were very helpful!
I took this class in the summer so may that's why it was heavy. There is no lectures, you have to self study all the material yourself. The tests test on whether you did the notes or not as they are scenario type questions. But he did may it open notes half way through the semester, which helps. And he gave some extra credit.
I took Statistics for Psychology online and it was basically a self-taught class. The material was not easy to understand, and the powerpoints provided didnt help much. The textbook is a necessity since the quizzes and tests are based entirely upon its material. However, the professor does give multiple tries on tests, which helped my grade a lot.
The summer semester with him wasn't fun. We were expected to read 3 chapters per week and memorize the info. Notes weren't allowed initially but he allowed it afterward .It's still difficult nevertheless considered we're require to memorize 60-100 pages of information. Otherwise, weekly chapter exam is the only thing you need to worry about.
Easy class, there was an Inquizitive due every Tuesday and 3 online exams that you can print notes for. Barely any studying required IMO. One big hypothetical research paper (mine was ~8 pages) that they say takes weeks but it was doable over a weekend. There was a minimum amount of small discussion posts and really really easy SPSS assignments.
There was pretty much only two things: Exams and essays. For exams we had to do notes from the textbook, but no lectures, and essays were summarization of articles (2 every week) The professor was good, half way through the year he gave extra credit points and made exams open notes. Advice: Self study everything with notes, submit all the essays
ZERO teaching is done on their end. No lectures or course material is really given.Extremely difficult & TEXT HEAVY course with a difficult source material. He implies you may need to re-read chapters to understand them but the chapters are so dense The exams and quizzes are obscure and he gives no study help or suggestions. Hardest course ever!!
Definitely my hardest class even though it had no lectures. Power points are posted but they are super dense while also not teaching you very much information and were not helpful in studying for the tests. There were no online lectures or anything, no feedback at all. Class was only tests, exams, and one end of year project.
This class is mainly weekly quizzes and 3 exams. There is a lot of content which made it kinda hard. The grading is not strict though, and he gives extra credit if the class does well on the exams. Overall the professor was nice, but the class work was heavy. There is a term project where you have to make a ppt and record it and it has to be 15 min
Although this class was very difficult, I am so glad I chose this professor! He was very understanding, and knew how difficult the course was and always gave us extra credit after every exam! He even rounded final grades for people! The exams were on a lockdown browser and were video proctored. He lets you have 10 pages of notes for the exams!
This class was difficult in the sense we had to teach ourselves with there not being any sort of video or lecture given by the teacher. We relied on a PowerPoint and an outline that never felt like it was giving all of the information. There were lots of grades given. As well as extra credit points on the tests, which I found to be generous.
ihad this class online. easy w quizzes every week due tuesdays & exams were also due on tuesdays and uses respondus w webcam. i didnt find this class difficult, just the SONA point thing required for every psych class is annoying but good professor, would take again
I'm still in the course but I need to vent. His tests are LockDown browser (plus camera). very easy quizzes every week. but he does NOT clarify or put in the calendar that there are participation assignments/lab assignments due each week. they show up as due in the calendar at the end of the term. I went from a "B" to a "D" for missing one of them.
The class was alright. There are 4 tests, and it requires lockdown browser plus the webcam and there are 4 quizzes every unit that are open note and easy. The SONA points are slightly confusing, and the class is pretty much just you are being self-taught but not bad.
Stats is a difficult subject so it will be hard with anyone, but Dr. G is knowledgeable and responded quickly any time I needed assistance (even with last minute help accessing exam). The course is not organized well, so take the time to ask him & double-check to understand all expectations for lab & participation. Thankfully curves for exams.
Second term taking him. This course was the same structure but with a research paper. Inquizitives for each chapter (a bit time consuming) and 3 proctored exams. He gives extra credit after each exam. I didn't do the research paper due to time conflict with my baby but still ended with a 93%. The participation and lab assignments are easy grades!
Honestly he teaches a very difficult subject so it's up to you to read the textbook and do practice problems and make sure you understand what you're reading! He curves all exams and has a chapter outline for each chapter so you know exactly what you need to be studying! Exams are proctored with camera but they're all open note. Write good notes!
No lectures. You read the slides every week and then take a quiz. Tests require webcam and microphone on lockdown browser. You need to participate in discussion boards throughout the semester. He lets you use 10 front and back pages for the tests, which you can print out. Pretty boring class but not terrible.
This professor makes the challenging stats class manageable. Exams are proctored but you can use notes. Extra credit and grading curves help. Unstuck study was a great study tool alongside the required textbook. Overall, a fair and engaging online course.
Didn't like this class. This was easily the most difficult psych class I've taken since most of the other psych classes into your specific major are breezes. The recorded online test taking was stressful and I did not enjoy reading the textbook or watching the online lectures. Would've rather taught myself for free than pay to teach myself.
Responds to messages promptly! He curves for exams, which is nice b/c they are proctored and difficult. 10-15 page research paper is manageable, but not much direction is given. Detailed requirements for the few large projects are scattered across different pages, so just be thorough and you'll do great. SPSS and Participation projects are easy.
Love this professor! Weekly chapter quizzes, 3 exams, weekly lab assignment (easy), a PowerPoint term project, and participation points for quick discussion posts you'll screenshot and turn in on a Word doc. It was like a light but steady workload. Very manageable. I highly recommend taking any class from this prof! Very kind and understanding.
The professor is clear and consistent. There are three exams, similar to his stats course if you had him before, and SPSS is used. He offers extra credit on all exams. TAs are helpful with any questions. Participation is easy — there are 15 posts in total. I completed mine at the end.
Decent professor. Curves exams sometimes. Chapter readings and InQuizitive assignments per chapter. Don't slack off on the paper. SPSS is needed. We have to make at least 15 meaningful discussion posts and submit a document of them. But the lack of due dates (for participation/the paper) made the course feel unstructured. Taken Spring 2025.
Cons: Professor is pretty much absent in his courses. If you need help discussing the exam results he states to get in contact w/ the TA. Does not always provide bonus points in his exams. Picks & chooses what class to give them to. Pro: He seems like a genuine professor that cares about his students. Sends emails about what is due a week before.
Great professor! SPSS is super slow but easy to submit. Participation post is super easy as well. Proctored exams, but open-book and quizzes, help a lot. Also, for the test, you have a lot of time to complete. Class is scary, but this professor is amazing. I was trying to take him for research.
I only hated the research paper part of it that I had to do bc I wasnt 18 and able to participate in studies. Apparently those were difficult too but I would have to submit 2 800 word research papers every week for my 6 week summer course it was exhausting. lockdown browser tests were easy you can use notes
I've taken online classes at UCF before, but the way this professor structured the course and test questions made it really hard for me to study. The class had 3 video assignments, 3 exams with Honorlock and camera, 12 labs, a term project, and 13 quizzes. Overall it was too much for me to handle. The tests are worth most of your grade!
You don't see which questions you miss on proctored tests, and he won't tell you. The book is confusing, and you rely on peers' posts since he doesn't teach. Multiple-choice answers are tricky, exams outweigh everything, and there's no extra credit. This class gave me my first B as a junior, dropping my perfect GPA.
