Professor Begay is one of the Patient professors. She is very good answering e-mauls or text messages ever during weekend. She Gave us a second chance to raise up our grades for exams. She is ready to work with you during class or sometimes after class. I learned the material by myself but I learned other things from her. She's not perfect but good

this professor give you multiple chances to inprove your grades and is verry understanding. she is patient and goes out of her way to help you inprove. there was alot of one on one in breakoutrooms which allows you to bring up what you dont understand and check your completed work for errors.

I recommend this professor. There is a lot of homework to get done, but she takes into consideration the effort you make to get everything done. She also offers partial credits for the exams. The moodle could be more organized but it doesnt get in the way of you doing your work. She gave us a phone number to reach her outside class.

Prof. Begay's course is a hard one to fail. (1.) You will know ALL the tasks you need to fulfill, like HWs, Quizzes, Labs etc (it is a chance to be ahead of the class). (2)There is a lot of extra credit to improve your grade (do the amount you need). (3.) She is tech-savvy and organized. (4) She is invested in her students, and I appreciate that!

I have like this class so far for the capacity of processor on helping us understand each week on what needs to be done. Her feedback is extremely helpful and the instructions that she has submitted in Moodle helps so much to obtain a better grade. This class worked very well for me because I could work somehow on my own pace, which was very helpful. The professor is very accessible, I could contact her at any time through txt messages or in class, she was very good guiding me in what was missing and she gives lots of opportunities for extra credit.

But make sure you are open to do your homework and study. you will pass if you study. and there is a lot of extra credit in case you need more points and some extra credit that helps you for your professional life.

This class is hard to fail, you can work at your own pace also the professor give you a lot of extra credit in case you need it, if you need help just set up a time with her, she is always accessible. Work hard and it will pay off.

Professor Begay is very prossional, kind, very accessible, she gives a lot of extra credits. The pre-recorded lectures were very informative and clear. If you want to pass the class, you need to do the work.

This class had a lot of outside work. At the end I felt I had learned the material well. Professor Begay knew the material and was helpful when I was challenged. In the beginning it was difficult to plan out my semester because the assignments and layout of the itinerary was confusing. I think this will improve in later classes. Lots of HW.

I really enjoyed the course. She explained the expectations at the beginning of Each lesson. She was up front and made the class interesting. I had never used labster before this course. I loved it. Dr. Begay's class is fair and heavily depends on your learning style. Tests are 50% of your grade so push hard. She gives extra credit, but u must score well for it to be significant. Personally, she didn't make me feel uncomfortable when I asked questions. I wouldn't take this class with more than one other course esp during mini session.

The pace of this course was at your own pace within a general time period. No required lecture times, but rather do them on your own time which was great. The homework were standard and just required using the books and lectures to understand. If you do the work, the tests are smooth. Extra credit for tests was available and very helpful.

This class was great! I took this class as a prerequisite for grad school. Dr. Begay wants students to do well. She is willing to meet for questions and easy to get a hold of! Professor Begay is a great teacher! She has everything completely mapped out in her syllabus with everything. It was bit confusing at first but as time goes on it will become more clear. Quizzes, test, and homework are not that hard. The class is easy as long a you stay on top of everything and don't wait till the last minute to get everything done

This class is for self-directed students. Dr Begay doesn't give lecture, recorded videos available. She reminds students of assignments, orients on how to use platforms to submit homework. Lots of homework, but not required to do everything. You`ll work with a lab partner. She is available (WhatsApp), grades fairly. I HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS CLASS.

Professor Begay is awesome. After setting the guidelines she is more laissez-faire. However, we were always reminded of the deadlines. Our concerns were promptly addressed via watsapp or in class. Additionally, SHE OFFERS REGULAR FEEDBACK . When I broke my arm she was very supportive offering tips etc on relieving the pain. Very pleasant!

Professor Begay is an amazing teacher! Yes, this class is very textbook heavy and homeowork based, but as long as you stay on track with everything you'll do great. Initially the class will seem very overwhelming, but it is set up to be very managable with lots of opportunities to earn extra cxredit and partial credit. Do the work and you'll be ok!

There is a recommended outline of where you should be in the semester but for the most part you go at a pace that is comfortable for. You have to be on top of your work. Professor Begay was straight forward and to the point. We had a lot of homework on McGraw Hill. SO YOU MUST KEEP UP WITH IT IN ORDER TO FINISH THE SEMESTER ON TIME. She is not a hard grader, but just make sure you do the work and submit it on time. It may be overwhelming, but just stay on top of your work and get the proper help when you need it.

I strongly recommend this class. The professor is always willing to help you and each lab class is fun and interesting. I always recommend to complete all the homework and quizzes before hand so you have a better understanding about each topic.

Chemistry, like any other topic, is difficult, but the professor makes it very easy to understand, she is highly organized, and it is very clear when there are deadlines for labs, homework, and exams. Lectures were easy to follow along as they were online based so you can always go back to any section. I would definitely take this professor again.

Going into this class, I was a little nervous about the content, but to my surprise, I had an amazing experience in this course. The professor is very organized, set clear expectations since the beginning of the course and prior to each assignment. You can easily get an A and good understanding of the material as long as you put in the effort.

This class was challenging because you will have to be on top of your homework, labs, quizzes, and exams. You also will have to read each of the chapters to understand the course and, if you want to pass the exams. Organize your time if you take more courses along with CHM120. The labs are easy if you and your lab partners work together.

Summer course- Very knowledgable and very thorough with great feedback. Even though she didn't control the course structure, her great communication with each student helped everyone succeed, especially with the labs She made the class manageable and interesting She gave you all you needed to succeed and allowed corrections after feedback.

I had Professor Begay for my Summer Chemistry 120 class. Overall, great class, with a maintainable course load. The class is very fast-paced so beware of staying on top of due dates. The lab assignments are straight forward and if you are confused Professor Begay will take her time to help and check in. Lab attendance is a large part of your final!

I took this course on summer, two days in the week, one day for lab and one day for online. All the homework and quizzes are online including the exams.

At first I thought this class was challenging due to its fast pace, with lots of workload, like frequent homework, quizzes, labs, and exams. Take my review with a grain of salt as I took the summer course which may not be reflective of a course during the regular semester. I found the class material to be interesting and rigorous, if you cannot keep up with an extremely fast paced course, don't take summer chemistry. However, Prof. Begay is very kind and accommodating.

Professor is very helpful with the students and gives extra credit if needed. Very understanding if students can't come in the class and very fair with giving the grades. Prof Begay is very nice, an easy grader and laid back but her teaching style is not really for me, personally.. but may work for some. Lab directions and lectures are all prerecorded for you to watch during class or on your own time none of that is really demonstrated in person, unfortunately.

Professor Begay is amazing and cares a lot about making sure everyone can be successful in her classes. Organic Chemistry can be hard class but if you apply effort, communicate with her and do the extra credit you can do very well. She is very supportive of all her students and is easy to communicate with outside of class if you have concerns.
