Mr. Krauser was one of my favorite professors. He made the class interesting and fun. Mr. Krauser made sure to engage the whole class in discussions. I especially liked the scenarios we played out to help us understand different laws and how they are applied.

This was one of very few challenging criminal justice courses that I have taken. It was very useful for my transfer to the University, and for challenging me personally. The expectations and instructions were very clear. This was not an easy "A," but Mr. Krauser was certainly fair in testing and in grading.

Mr. Krauser was very helpful and knowledgeable about the subject. His classes are challenging, but very rewarding. I remembered the materal well after leaving the class. Attendence and good notes are essential to doing well in the class. However, the tests and grades were very fair.

Krauser bring a lot of enthusiasm to class, making the material fun and easy to remember. His lectures are always very through which would normally be boring but are brought to life by the debates, scenarios, and events he interjects from his real life cases.

Krauser makes the class atmosphere fun and always interesting but yet still enables you to comprehend everything. His teaching style is great. I wish that all teachers taught like him. And you never have to stress for the mid term or final.

i sit in the front row of his constitutional law class and i just love shane but sometimes its just so hard to focus in his class not because he is a bad teacher but just because its so hard to when u just sit there and reallly embrace his beauty

I have had three classes with Shane. The material is pretty much the same but he finds a way to keep it fun. He allows students to say what is on their minds, believe me I have dropped the F-Bomb at least a hundred times and I don't think he got mad once. He will make you believe one side of the problem and then change on you to get you to think.

Shane knows what he's talking and teaching about. He works hard to ensure his students understand what he wants them to know and his classes are interactive so learning comes easy.

My first class with Mr. Krauser. I figured it would be a boring class and welcomed the fact that it wasn't. He follows along with the book but brings in real world current cases when they apply. It was also nice that he brought in guest speakers to show a different perspective on subject material. Highly recommend this Instructor.

This class is very exciting. He does everything he can to get the class involved and likes playing "Devils Advocate". He knows how to play both sides of an issue and uses that to get students involved. Guest speakers and his own experience brings different perspective and life to a normally boring class.

My favorite class Constitutional Law. I've never seen an instructor play so many different roles in a class before. He truly knows the Constitution and how it applies to Law Enforcement. Even had a mock court when studying the 4th Amendment. Highly recommend this class and instructor to anyone who wants to know how the Const. & law enforcement work

Shane is an excellent teacher and is very helpful. Every week we have a quiz but Shane always does a review with us to ensure we understand the material. I highly recommend taking this class and I would have taken his others classes but I had taken them prior to knowing he taught other courses.

I am extremely lucky to have Shane as my teacher this semester. His main concern is that everyone has a full understanding of what they are being taught. He truly wants everyone to do well and I believe that is what some teachers are lacking. Anyone who gets him as their teacher are very lucky. I hope to take more of his classes in the future :)

Mr.Krauser made a class I origanilly thought would be semi boring, intresting! He is a great teacher to take a class with that comes with loads of experience, which is hard to find. Makes the subject comperhesable and actaully rose more intreast in continuing a path in criminal justice.

At the beginning of the semester, during introductions when asked "Are you interested in pursuing a law degree?, " My answer was no. To which his reply was "I'll change your mind by the end of the semester." I was skeptical, but here at the end, I must concede that he was right. This class kept me interested with his expertise & the guest speakers.

class is difficult just because i am bad at remembering dates. but other than that he makes class fun and very interesting. he explains everything we ask and will give us examples using real stories from his past. this is a very helpful stratagy. i will definitely love to take another one of his classes again in the near future.

Mr. Krauser is both fun, opinionated and a great professor. His style of teaching is unlike any I have ever experienced in that it engages you, makes you think and therefore retain what was taught. Anyone who takes Mr. Krauser will be in for a treat and great learning experience.

Shane made this topic easy to understand and explained very well when things were unclear. I like the fact he brings real world experience into the classroom. Someday I will become a prosecutor and hope to achieve his level of sucess at the job. Will take any other classes offered with Shane as an instructor in the future.

What to say about Shane Krauser...well, he is never boring for and all of his guest speakers are real characters (Just bring ear plugs for Hausner's lawyer. Don't worry, you'll still be able to hear him). He takes jokes pretty well and there is no conversation he won't have. Arguing amongst the class is a must & all opinions are shot down equally.

shanes class is one of the best classes ive had in college i dont even take his classes and i still show up there is s0o0o0 much to learn dude has storys for hours. it was once said that the man knows every law in the handbook and can recite the constitution verbatim no joke

The class was great. All of the material was useful information and very reliable coming from a professor who actually practices law daily. The class was fun and very easy as long as you pay attention and is a great experience.

I took this class not really knowing what I wanted to do when I grew up, but after this experience I am really leaning towards becoming a prosecutor. Professor Krauser made the class very interesting and exciting. The Mock Trial was an awesome experience and it sure beats writing a 4 page essay.

fun classes and great teacher

THIS WAS THE BESTEST CLASS EVER and EVER. Shane Krauser is a great teacher. He took a difficult subject and realy made it simple and understandable. Mr. Krauser really dives in to the class, students and subject to give you a complete learning experance.

This teacher did a good job getting the class excited about issues pertaining to law. We did a mock trial which was really fun. I disagree about having to buy a book because we hardly used it and stuff that we learned about Arizona was not specific in the book at all. Use the book or don't make the students buy it.

It wasn't the easiest of the classes, but got a lot to learn. Prof Krauser is a very involved teacher and he believes in what he is doing. The only draw back was the use of the Text book (after the amount that was spent on it) was extremely limited, if at all. This made it hard to refer to it as the topic covered in class and text did not jive.

Krauser is really good on teaching he will keep you focus on the course, he will challenge you to be better every time.He really takes pride on teaching his students. It was a honor having him as my teacher.

We could have used more class time reviewing the material rather than working on the mock trial. Most group time was not used effectively.

I never really had no interest in Criminal Justice before but Shane is so energetic about the topic and is well educated in the subject. The classes were always so educational as well so much fun! I loved his class and definitely want to take more of his classes!

Shane was extremely informative and you could tell he was very passionate about every topic. If you find a class that Shane teaches I higly reccomend you take that course. Not only with you have fun, but you will complete the course knowing tons more than when you came in. I personally feel you will come out an improved person.

Shane is an awesome instructor! You have a quiz every class period over what was covered last class period. The midterm EASY! Final have to put some studying. I took Shane's summer class and I had a vacation to be on the last week of class, he allowed me to go to his work and take my final after I got home.

this cat is the best instructor because he is always ready to share experiences and make you think. if you take a side on a subject, you better be able to argue the other side also. info is repeated multiple times to help everything you forget. study and take notes and boom goes the dynamite.

Krauser is probably one of the only fun AJS teachers. While learning a lot of information...you have fun doing so. It's impossible to fail because during lecture he explains everything pretty thoroughly. All you have to do is take notes, pay attention, review, and be prepared for a memorable class.

When I signed up for this 3 hr class I thought it was going to be brutally long and boring. That was not the case at all it was great lots of fun and encouragment to express your opinion! I learned alot and new phrases and alot about the law and my rights. Everybody should take all his classes! THANKS KRAUSER LETS DO THIS!

The best class you will ever take! I still like him even though hes not an OSU fan, but I beleive in what he says and teaches. You are missing out if you dont take his class.

This is the second class I have had Shane as my instructor. He is definitely the most fun instructor I have had till date at GCC, but his teaching style is not typical. If you have never worked with Krauser, my advise is, make sure you take the time to understand his teaching style, read between the lines. 'More questions than answers' is alright.

I really love this class it was more of a what's going to happen this week. And the teacher is on top of his game due to is back ground with the courts. You'll be missing out on a get chance to learn and wonderful instructor.

I really loved this class, and the teacher was understanding when I had medical issues. I have also resigned up for his class in the fall, so I can try for my A that I did not get due to my medical issues this fall. He is fun, friendly, kind, and understanding. Krauser has been my favorite professor to date. He is intelligent, humorous, and brings life to lecture based classes. He excourages debate, which helps students express their views, and is not strict about course curriculum being followed 100% to the letter. I recommend Krauser to every AJS student at GCC and UoP.

Not an easy instructor but if thats what you want in a teacher you probably shouldn't be in college. Very knowledgeable and will teach you a lot, also does in class discussions. Very helpful instructor!! Highly recommended if a AJS student.

I respect and appreciate the time invested by Mr. Krauser. He is tenacious, animated, passionate,consistant, and challenging. I was perpetually amazed by his infinite knowledge and inspired to learn. Awesome teacher! Really passionate and keeps the class involved. I'm not even part of the AJS program and I found his class really interesting. Great teacher, would definitely recommend taking any and all of his classes!

Incredibly knowledgable instructor and very energetic. Keeps the class involved and interested at all times. I have to take these classes at night after a long day of work and Mr. Krauser's class always kept me awake! The mock trial was hard work but fun. I learned alot in this class.

Awesome teacher, makes learning a new subject fun and exciting, very well educated and excited about the subjects he teaches.

I've had him for two classes, both of which I earned an A in. He presents the material in an easily digested manner so long as you pay attention. I've learned more from his two classes than my other 7 AJS classes combined.

Very passionate about what he is teaching. It is easily noticed that Shane truly loves what he does and as a result he has an advantage of being able to convey very difficult material in a way that makes it easy to understand and fun to learn.

Mr. Krauser is one of the best professors I have ever encountered. He makes you excited about the susbject. The class was great, and he is a great teacher.

I have taken 3 seperate classes with Krauser, and he is by far my favorite instructor. He is passionate, well-spoken, and inspirational. He excites his students, provides exciting material, and is always willing to clarify or debate. I would recommend Krauser to every student, it is rare to find an instructor so passionate and knowledgeable.

Krauser travels the country teaching others about the Constitution. Fantastic that we had him captive for 16 weeks. Awesome experience!

Krauser is a great professor. He is very interested in the topics he teaches and it shows. He explains things is a great way. The class is an easy A if you pay attention and do the little things.

Who knew a Constitutional Law class could be so fun and entertaining? I didn't! But Mr. Krauser some how pulls it off. He does weekly quizes (10 multi-choice questions) which are VERY helpful when it comes to the midterm and final exams. But make sure you take notes and pay attention to lectures!

Mr. Krauser is an awesome and fun guy. Although the class was about three hours long, it went by quickly each time because it is so entertaining. You really learn a lot. The only downside is that the tests and quizzes are pretty hard.

Krauser was a great teacher to have. Before I took his Constitutional Law class, I thought the subject material would be pretty dry. But, he kept the entire class engaged for the entire 3 hours. He made the class fun and inspired a yearning to gain more knowledge on the subject. I would highly recommend taking a class with him.

Shane is without a doubt one of the best criminal justice teachers at GCC. If you have the opportunity to take one of his classes, do it I promise you will love it. Shane is funny and does an amazing job keeping things interesting.

Mr. Krauser is the best teacher I've had, and the only reason I took this class was because I loved his constitutional class. If you study and do all the work, there is no reason you can't do well in this class. It's very easy to write notes from Krauser's lectures. This is a fun class, and if you're taking it the only way to go is Krauser!

Shane Krauser is a wealth of knowledge to say the least and one of the most helpful teachers you could ever ask for. If you are interested in taking Constitutional Law I highly Recommend Mr Krauser as you teacher because quite frankly in my opinion, he is the best there is.

Best professor I've ever had! Awesome guy, fun class, lots of debates, lots of interesting real-life topics. He's a lawyer with alot of knowledge. Take advantage of this class while he's still teaching at the community college level. His teaching level could put him at Harvard Law

Shane Krauser was the best teacher that I have had in College and I have been going since 1992 working on my second associates. Mr. Krauser made this class fun to be in while I was getting educated. I would recommend Mr. Krauser classes to everybody even if you are not in the field. He is very knowledgible and fun to learn from.

BEST criminal justice instructor ever!! He definitely made all of his classes very interesting. I would retake his class again in a heart beat eventhough the class is pretty tough. I feel like i really earned my grade in this class.

I think that the class would have bin better if the there was no book. The instructer gave better explanations to the criminal justice field then the book did. Also it would help if there were fewer notes to be taken in class, because I would have bin involbed in discussions alot more then what i was.

He is an awesome teacher! He is clear, concise, and really loves to teach! His grading is 10 question quizzes every class meeting, following a lecture. If you read the textbook prior to entering class, you will have a better understanding of learning the material. I recommend taking his class!

Amazing instructor and great man. He had me so involved in the material I didnt need to study. YMMV. I took 3 of his classes and loved every one. The only class I had where I actually wanted to stay late to finish the material. Looking forward to possibly seeing him teach at the police academy as well.

Took during the summer, only complaint, I wish I would have waited for a full semester. He was fantastic! Loves what he does, SUPER INFORMATIVE. He is bad "stuff!" Prosecuted big guys, and really knows his stuff. He is AMAZING!! Everyone in AJS should take him! He has a radio show and wants to teach people, very passionate!
