He's an amazing professor. I liked the class discussion and his approach to intercultural communication... You work hard, but you're smarter for it.

Great class!

I have him for communication theory. He's so fun! And I'm learning a lot. I wish the tests weren't so hard, but I love his lectures.

We've used the craigslist personals, music videos, performance skits--to understand comm theory. He's really smart and fun. It's not an easy A though.

He's alright..my opinion of him fluctuated throughout the semester to thinking he was okay to thinking he wasnt very good. he is strict on attendance and threatens to lower your grade a letter grade if u miss more than 4 classes. but take good notes in lecture and do EXACTLY what he says in your speeches, follow the outlines, and you will be okay.

He tells us to go on this site. He's hard. For a EZ A you take the other teachers. He's funny. I like his lectures but his tests are hard.

This professor was okay...he is very helpful when you ask him to help you..however, he would like it more if you do everything on your own and be creative..he would get mad if he sees that the class presentations are somehow not interesting or boring..then he would grade it harder...however..other than that..the class is okay..good luck

He is a great guy and is really there to help his students. If you ever have a question just hang out after class and he always makes time.

Moorman can seem like a prick but he's really not, he actully cares if your learning or not. He'll have no problem failing you,in order for you to see that. He's a good teacher...just be prepared to actully do work.

I changed my major to Comm because of him.

He does very interesting activities and lectures that keep you listening. However, he grades very hard and if you don't do a speech exactly to his liking, your grade is greatly affected. Take someone else if you have a hard time improvising a little bit.

An on-line course... He's great.

He is confrontational. He excepts no excuses even reasonable ones. Vindictive to shy people so don't show any weakness to him. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Take gender with Dr. Mooreman. He is really interesting and can be demanding.

Dr. Moreman is a great professor. I took his online course as a returning student as was afraid that I wouldn't do well. But I loved it. Dr. Moreman is so smart! He was friendly and helpful and available when I needed help. He makes the material easy to understand. I loved the class and the way he taught it.

Loved this guy, I really dont know why there are bad comments about him. You do a lot of in class group stuff but individual speeches are very easy.

I took two upper division courses with him. Basically, you have to do the work to get the grade. He's tough, but you can tell that he genuinely cares about his students. Don't be obnoxious and talk back because I've seen him call out a number of people for that. If you do the work and show up for class, you'll be fine.

Dr. Moreman is misunderstood. Everyone who complains about him being biased is using this as an excuse. Instead of being defensive and disagreeing, students need to realize that he is an expert in his field, knowledgeable and experienced. That said, he can put you on the spot and is blunt. Overall, I learned a lot from him

He is really great. It is a hard course, but he answers emails fast and helps you out if you need it. Recommend!

The class is on online...open book quizzes...you write a lot. Highly recommend!

My 4th online course at Fresno State. The most organized and the most easy. He skypes if you need help. I did and it helped. Read other posts: not sure what they were expecting in an online class. Don't take for easy A.

He is a very blunt teacher and can correct you in about 100 ways in front of the class when doing a speech. Very straight forward telling your mistakes and making you embarrassed. My first impression was this guy is a JERK, but after a while, I learned to realize that he criticizes to open our minds to mature and avoid failure.

I'm going to the final right now. I'm sad this is over. This is my favorite professor!

he is a funny man, he tells you straight up what that you are wrong he doesn't sugar coat things but he doesn't do it to embarrass you but most of all to help you. the class isn't easy but if you follow his instruction you will do good if you need help he's always available i recommend you give him a chance.

Dr. Moreman is a great professor!!! Yes he can be somewhat rude at times and could also be intimidating but BELIEVE me you will thank him later! He does pick on those that don’t really pay attention in class, just to challenge them. What you learn here is a skill you can take to be a successful student at a university level. If you're shy, this class will be kind of hard. Professor moreman can sometimes be rude and he likes pointing out students. But, he does teach you well and he knows his stuff. If you need help, he will always let you visit during office hours. Also, textbook is madatory.

You do alot of interacting in the class. He requires you to read. He's funny and sometimes his humor might get read as rude? You can tell he cares.

A very blunt critical teacher who is very picky with how to do presentations. Quiz with 5 questions are given once every week. It is based off the chapter of the book of that week so if you miss 1, you fail that quiz. However, there are 2 paper assignments that he grades with an extreme curve. He picks on students to make you talk so be prepared.

You do substantial group work, so there's that. Also, he pushes study abroad alot. You have to do the readings. He takes roll and it affects your grade. The assignments can be fun, but they are also hard.

He is very big about reading, he knows we don't read so hell call upon someone random to ask "hey whats this about in chapter 17...." and will wait for you until you say something. Will make you feel dumb! not on purpose but i think so we get the idea to read. He really wants to help us! just get ready to feel dumb lol. Quizes a lot on BB. Good tea

Dr. Mormane is a good teacher honestly. Even though he gets really mad when people don't read he will put you on the spot. He will wait for you to answer something or go back. Group little speeches are almost every other day in class. Easy Easy! Graders if he likes you! Make him your favorite and you'll pass. Go visit him! he likes when peopleVIST

Prof. Moreman is a great guy! Really criticizes a lot but it's something you just have to get used to. He is really helpful and will definitely help you if you need clarification. Office hours are super good especially when you need help. If you're okay with being out on the spot Then you'll be okay in this class. Good luck!!!

Dr. Moreman is great, he cares about his students and wants you to do your best. He is funny and can be a bit sassy, but all in a good way. There were 4 or 5 presentations and a few online quizzes based on the book. If you can take this class take it, i would do it again.

Very blunt teacher but we are all adults so no need to be sensitive. He is hilarious and always has his class laughing. He will call you out if you aren't paying attention. Pop quizzes all the time so make sure you read before class.

Dr. Moreman is an excellent professor. He sticks to what he says. He is harsh but in a way that he wants you to succeed in his class. I learned a lot in the class and it was the way he was teaching. The syllabus is his contract so you know what to expect the whole semester. If you are intelligent then you will not have a problem in this class

Dr. Moreman is a little intimidating at first. Stick with him though, it gets a little easier after you figure out his style. Check your syllabus for tests!! He has a great personality and he plays music in class. Be prepared for all of your speeches and follow his instructions. Know the material before class.

At first I was scared of him,he seemed so strict! But then he was cool, it was just to like scare students lol Honestly in the whole semester all u do is 3 speeches! My friends had another professor and always told me they had a lot of work,I didn't,I only got ready for my speeches and thats all

He is super tough at first and will scare you straight for the first two months. However I can honestly say he was one of the best teachers I've ever had. He really wants his students to succeed and on a personal level he is very understanding. A lot of his instructions seem unclear at first but he does that purposefully to allow creativity.

Serious and direct at the beginning of the semester but over time he will be more open. Motives you to graduate in 4 years which is 8 semesters. Very inspiring.

He is a tough professor but he is also very helpful if you go to his office hours and ask for help. Take this class of you can handle constructive criticism because he will interrupt you in the middle of your speech. But he is a great teacher and I would take him again for this class.

Dr. Moreman is very serious & intimidating the first few weeks of class however over the course of time his personality really shined through. I was very timid before taking this course after reading some of the comments, but I'm very glad I stuck through this semester. He is very straight to the point and is strict on instructions.

Great professor. 3 individual presentations and 1 paired presentation. Easy A. He is tough on your thesis drafts but grades easy on final. He is very specific. Just follow the outline and you're set. You can also meet with him to discuss your topic. (hint: do it because he will basically do your presentation for you). Also, he is very funny.

Dr. Moreman comes off as strict at first but once you settle in his class he's amazing. This class was mainly speeches and online quizzes. An easy class if you do them all and show up to the lectures.

Dr. Moreman should have a higher rating of 41/2 at least because of how he is willing to go the extra mile in class, giving the student a great education in which he expects the best out of every student who enters his classroom.

Dr Moreman is a great teacher. At first I was scared of the class and presenting. Now I feel better. Hes a tough but fair grader. The feedback seems overwhelming at first but then I saw that it was to help me improve my speeches. I am glad to take this class with him because now I feel prepared to do research and present in my other classes.

I took him for a 3-week long summer class, he gave really good feedback and made me actually learn, and helped me overcome my anxiety when doing public speaking. There were 3 speeches and easy quizzes as long as you pay attention to his lectures and read the book.
