Class is never boring cuz we talk about things that are always interesting and entertaining. shes very young, very nice. easy- no homework, 1 research paper, couple quizzes but they are common knowledge health questions. take this class.

extreamly nice and willing to help you get a good grade in her class. she is young and that helps her be on the same page as most of the students. i'd take her class any time.

I am an older student and teach full time at a high school. As a teacher I look for "teacher" qualities, Shannon is very organized,interesting and professional. Class discussions are always interesting and make you think. She is quite young but I think this can help most students.

She's wonderful.Excellent teaching skills.I learned so much.She is so interesting,cares about her students,and is fair with grading. I received a "B" in this class.If you want a "B" or better,choose a professor that knows how to teach so you can understand and get "A's &"B's.SIMPLY WONDERFUL.Please choose her if you to have fun learning.NICE

Ms. Bertha is a great professor!! She will do everything in her power to help you get a good grade. She's always available on her office hours to help you with any subject matter or paper. Her class is never boring, and she does control the class! Besides,we're in college, we shouldn't have to be "controlled"!! She's great!! Take her!!

She sometimes gets a little off topic, but she is the best professor i've had. I learned a lot and *GASP* enjoyed coming to class. It's cool to have a professor who's not much older than you.

Very informative and up to date on the latest information and statistics. I took her during a winter session and found the class easy. I never even purchased the text book. She doesn't use it. But is required to put some ques. on her tests from it. I got the study guide ($12.00), and got an A in her class. Attend all classes, and be on time.

GREAT TEACHER!!!!!!!!! i did not want to take another health class and it ended up becoming my favorite class of the semester! very informative and loves what she teachers! very interesting and is very up to date with what she teaches.

she does stress the sex ed part a lot, but she says it in an informative way and tries to help you be healthy and make wise choices. She does a good job at actually educating you using a wide variety of sources: videos, group discussion, valid statistics, and visual aid. Unbias energetic pleasant effective teacher.Tho required, this class my fave.

One more thing, to that comment below she explained in class one day she looks at the cell phone to keep track of the time and I never saw a vibrator in class haha she brought in a dildo to show how the condom works and there was this thing that vibrated but it was packaged with some type of condom. did you even attend the same HED class as me?

I loved this class. She is an excellent professor. She goes over things that are very interesting. She tells you whats on the test and what to study. You take alot of notes but its all on the test and you only read 1 chapter of the book for each test. She has a young style of teaching she is not one of those teachers that put you to sleep.

When it comes to her teaching methods, she knows the material & enjoys teaching. As a person, I found she was well rounded even at her young age and had no problems answering questions or helping on a personal level.Expect alot of writing review notes & handouts, & write a desent research paper & you'll pass. Dont take her class lightly though her test are easy if you pay attention and take notes that shes gives in class. must do the research paper or you wont pass..other than that if you come to class every day an extra grade bonus dont miss more than two days

This professor is AMAZING. Not only does she have an extensive background in what she teaches, and makes EVERYTHING fun, but she also is always there to lend a helping hand if you need advice on a personal matter. You will not regret taking her class, tests are easy (straight from notes), and is very easy going!

I took Professor Berta for Hed 150 and 200. She is an amazing teacher. Her Lectures are interesting and she makes it very clear what is going to be on the tests, there are no suprises. she is a fair grader, there is a paper involved but it is issued by the department. she is the best!! TAAKKKEEE HEERRRR!!!

She's a beautiful person inside and out, teaching a very interesting class. This is a must take because she's clear and informative on a subject that we all think we know! Papers are tough but if you do your work in a timely maner, you'll do great. Tests are EASY!

Very nice but she likes to bring politics into the class a little too much. A lot of the subjects we talked about she would mention liberals and republicans. I'm sorry but I wanted a health class, not a politics class. But overall it was a good class. I really enjoyed it and we watched a lot of movies!

She is a great professor with a great personality. Her tests are easy, partially because some of the stuff on the tests should be common sense, but also because she is such an effective professor. It was an interesting class that I would've always looked forward to, except it was at 8am in the morning. Other than that I loved it.

I am currently taking her health class for the SUMMER, and everything stated here so far is 100% true!! She is very sexy and knows how to teach a class! I am learning more and more as each class goes by, and they are over 3 hrs long! Lots of interesting movies, not the old boring ones some health teachers show you! DEFINITELY recommend her!!

Shannon is honestly beautiful inside and out. She's not just a teacher, but also a person that will listen to your problems after class and do all she can to help you and give you advice. Her classes were always interesting and I am now a fan of Michael Moore's films! This class was almost a sociology class, but I loved it! Automatic A if u study!

So easy makes the class fun. Watch some cool movies. used the book maybe twice get the earlier edition, can rent online. Great notes that are the tests word for word. Final is a long paper of your choice, grades them pretty easily. Great class take her! Want to take her for sex ed, heard great things about that class

Shes a cool professor. Was a little disappointed because I studied really hard and didnt get a good grade on my test. I dont know how. You take a lot of notes. Compared to Honey, who I heard is beyond tough, shes a piece a cake. I cant give her a bad grade because I couldnt finish the class for personal reasons, but I'd take her again if I could.

Her class was amazing. Took her this summer and regretted not taking her in the spring for a full semester. She's very smart and highly educated in her area with a PhD. She will help you with personal and private issues and is very easy to talk to. Doesn't judge anything you have to say, but she prefers you speak in professional terms.

Professor was great! She was clear about class objectives and expectations. Made some of the more boring topics more interesting through conversation and videos. She's also comfortable with sexuality and gender topics which helps make things less tense for certain topics

Awesome AWESOME professor !! Only two tests and both tests have quiz questions on them so it's rather easy if you just pay attention, study your notes!!!!, and go to class. She seems tough in her ways with certain things, but she does everything for a reason and is the best professor I've ever had.

Out of all the professors I took in MCC, she was my favorite! I enjoy every bit of discussion and she loves to listen to her students opinion, sharing and stories. She always makes sure that she can help you in any way. She also responds quickly on email. All in all, I give her an A+. Take her subject and you won't regret it!

Absolutely amazing professor! I had this class once a week which initially made me very scared but she made this class so easy to understand. Shes extremely passionate. Definitely recommend not missing class because when shes giving notes, she gives extra notes onto whats going to be on exams and quizzes. Definitely hard to fail.

Shannon is an amazing professor! She is super relaxed, very open, easy to talk to, easy to contact outside of class, and definitely knows her subject. She leaves reading the book up to us- I would recommend just renting it in the library if it is available before tests. If you get the chance, take her class!!

The course is honestly very easy. Go to class, do your work, the tests & quizzes are easy if you study. The final paper requires a bit of effort but its an easy A to bump up your GPA

she gives a lots of homework but they aren't difficult. be prepared to read and watch videos. assignments grade are more than 100 points, if you got something wrong or miss one your grade still can be in A. she does not accept anything late or via email. She sends the assignments ahead of time so you can manage your schedule to complete them.

Professor Bertha is well in tune with modern health issues. She is passionate, bold, courageous, and up-to-date. She uses media to help teach, and is straightforward with her directions. Very smooth class, and I wish I could have taken it in person instead of online. As long as you stay ahead of schedule, you'll pass. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR ANY CLASS

If you get a chance, take this class. The professor is knowledgeable, caring, interested and wants nothing but the best for her students. My only issue was that I wish we could have taken this course in person. Great, up to date content. Assignments everyday, but it was a 3 week winter course so was to be expected. Great educator!!!

Fairly easy class. Prepare to do ALOT of work. Took this course for Summer 1. I dont recommend anyone to take this class for Summer or Winter Semesters it was too much work given for a Summer Course. Assignments were scattered throughout the week, which made it hard to stay organized and the GUIDE assignments are absolutely ridiculous.

I took her class for summer 2. Because it is a summer course, yes of course it is a bit challenging because your assignments are due weekly. The assignments are videos and questions as well as PowerPoint. There are also assignments/ quizzes for the textbook. I recommend her class to anyone it is easy and she is a great professor.

Dr. Shannon is a great professor. If you are not lazy, she is the instructor you should take because her course is very informative. Your hard work will pay off in her class. She is very well organized, and she grades fairly. I would definitely recommend her to any student that is willing to work.

Great prof! As long as you follow the syllabus for her course you should be fine. I learned a lot and read a lot!!! Be prepared to do a lot of online assignments and watch videos. Its all manageable as long as you put in the work.

I just completed her accelerated human sexuality class and I have nothing bad to say about it! She was an amazing professor! She recorded herself speaking and it was on the powerpoint which made it easy to follow. She has a clear and organized modules section to follow and the workload was manageable. Very knowledgeable and would take her again!

Professor Bertha was a great teacher. I took her as an online course. She was always available to meet through Zoom or in person. She was a straight forward, fair grader. She made sure you knew her syllabus before the course began. There was not a final exam but rather a final paper which was a breeze! Take her class!!!

Professor Shannon's class has a lot of work, but the content is interesting. Attendance is mandatory, and the grading can be strict. Unstuck ai was a helpful study tool alongside the textbook.
