Shannon is the best. I don't know who said she was rude, but she is seriously one of the nicest and funniest professors I have had! She is very knowledgeable and if she does not know the answer to something, she will admit it and help us find it! Her class is easy and fun if you study and come to class!

Participation in class is mandatory; however, Shannon made this comfortable and even fun because everyone was new to Spanish. She was very funny and understanding. She has been my favorite professor and I highly recommend. There was extra credit on every quiz/test. Go to class and do the homework and you have nothing to worry about!

Shannon is by far my fav professor. Her teaching style is clear and laid back, feels more like a study sesh with friends than a class. Makes lots of jokes/can laugh at herself, and made learning a very comfortable experience. There is extra credit on every exam, and homework helps boost your grade a ton as it is graded on completion, not accuracy

Shannon is Marshall's best Spanish professor. She explains why you are doing things a certain way instead of just saying thats how it is. She's very understanding and laid back. You do have to participate a lot in class but she does not put you down for being wrong. Quizes can be a bit difficult but you have the opinion for extra credit on them.

Shannon is an amazing professor. I wish more educators would adopt her ways of teaching and grading! She is a kind woman with a love for teaching and it shows in her class. Pretty homework heavy, but homework is graded on completion. Very willing to work with students to help them succeed!

Shannon really wants her students to learn and is active in class with them. This is a straight lecture, no PowerPoint, class. That being said, this is also a participation-heavy class as well. You will get cold-called to answer homework questions so make sure you do the work.

If you struggle with foreign languages and just need to pass a foreign language class, she is the best professor for it. Not too difficult if you pay attention.

She is so funny and caring! I really love her and her personality. There is a lot of culture/history, so be ready to memorize for the final which was cumulative. Other than that, the class is great; I learned a lot!

Lectures were engaging and informational. She was so nice and funny! Participation definitely mattered, as it stated in the syllabus. She was the best professor to start my journey to obtaining a minor in Spanish.

Had her for SPN240** (wasn't an option on this website) Shannon is great! Always fun, wants you to succeed, clear grading criteria, but she can be scattered and a littleee disorganized sometimes. Still wouldn't take anyone else. She gave lots of homwwork, which I thought could have just been done in class, but it wasn't too big of a deal. Goated.
