professor groff is a trip! she is a great, entertaining, funny teacher! she has a lot for you to do in her class but she helps you the entire way, i recomend her to anyone who needs to take education classes.

Prof.groff is a wonderful teacher. she teaches things that you could never read in a book, real life situations. yes u will have to read the book by yourself but learning is more than bookwork. im so enthusiastic about my teaching future thanks to her!

She is very partial to the students she likes best. She is slow responding to e-mails and she hardly ever follows the syllabus. She gives a lot of busy work outside of class because the class time is spent in discussions but if you do all the work it is an easy A and she knows her subject material.

Outstanding professor if your willing to get up of your a**! Her class is very fun and realistic unlike other classes at FCCJ. Do the work that she tells you; sometimes she can be too advanced but email or just pull her aside, so she can explain it to you. She is very smart and knows her subject!

This professor is a truly genuine person. She cares about her students feelings, which is very important in college, by going out her way to make them happy. Also, her classes revolve around getting off your butt, so if your a lazy person-- do not take this class!!!

Prof. Groff is the best teacher I ever had. She will do anything to help her students succeed as long as they show a desire to do so. All the people who put frowny faces probably did not show up to class. If you show up and do your work you'll be straight.

I am not sure why all the negative comments, but I had her and she does not discriminate. That is one of the things I liked about her. She was fun and energetic. I would definitely take her again. She does get off task, but that is the nature of diverse populations. I liked her. She was very helpful.

Shes so hot bring a fire extinguisher! Works with you a little slow on grading, but use that to your advantage, stay ahead of her and she will know you care about the class, get your A! She likes intelligent opposition, and bring cookies and candy, Orange starburst! Cant go wrong with this one!

I took this class online and it was a Very EASY class. Tests were time consuming but not difficult. Do your work and you will get an "A". On a few of my assignments she took a LOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNG time to grade them. She will answer your questions within 24 hours.

Prof Groff was more than caring, showed a personal interest in students, was helpful and available. Her emails were returned in more than adequate time (generally less than 24 hrs). The assignments were not difficult if you have ANY experience with computers. exams were long but not terribly difficult, almost exclusively from the text. RECOMMEND!

Online Course! EASY!!! You can do ALL the work ahead of time except the group project find three friends at the begining of class and begin working on it early! Groff will answer ANY questions you have.If you are Computer literate you will do well! Great, Fun, Energetic teacher.

Took her for two classes. She has lots of teaching experience and shares real stories. We role play and it taught me a lot about how to handle difficult situations. I am teaching now and see just how useful her classes were.

I took this class as an accelerated course in 4 weeks. Prof. Groff was extremely helpful. She answered all my questions quickly and even offered her cell number for emergencies.

I took this professor 3 years ago and just started teaching this last year. I thought she was good, but when I started teaching I realized how much I learned from her. The role playing and hot topics in this class are worth doing. Groff really knows what she's talking bout and she really cares about her students and education.

I took Professor Groff online for this course. I had several obstacles occur during the term and she went way out of her way to assist me. I have never had a teacher care as much as she did. I learned more than just the curriculum; I learned what teaching is really about. Anyone wanting to be a teacher should take a class with her.

I took Groffs 4week online course and it was by far the easiest online class ever. There were weekly assignments, discussion boards, and exams but they were not at all time consuming. She posted grades fast and was quick to reply to emails. Take her!

I took this class online and missed a week in the beginning, she helped me catch back up. The class was a little difficult considering the information I DID find was through research online instead of being able to use the book. The tests were ridiculous, I hate them and they were the reason I struggled. All other assignments were clear and easy.

No text book at all. only a few assignments which you have weeks to complete. She is really nice and really pretty and we actually did learn.

Professor Groff was AWESOME!!! I wish she taught other courses. I would recommend her to anyone taking a college intro course. Coursework was extremely easy. Very simple homework assignments and most projects are group assignments that can be completed with an hour. She knows her stuff and makes the classroom buzz. Very easy on the eyes too ;)

She was a very good teacher! Graded and answered questions very quickly, and didn't grade hard at all as long as you followed the guidelines. Two MC tests, 5 disc. posts, variety of personal projects and one group project. All hands on and helpful. Very enjoyable and fun, I highly recommend!

GREAT teacher! EASY course. I finished all the first four weeks in one week. The only thing you truly need the textbook for are the midterm (50 pts) and the final (50 pts). The rest are fun educational technology items like set up a powerpoint.

I took Professor Groff during the summer. She graded assignments immediately and answered all my questions quickly. The group project was difficult but only because of group members. Prof. "G," is so full of energy and she has a way with people which will surprise you! I am so glad to have had the privilege of being one of her students and in some of my darkest moments, she was there for me when there was no one else. She is one of the BEST teacher's I have ever had, and I will always respect and remember her! She is the BOMB!!

Great teacher. She may seem a little difficult at first, but in the end I should've ended up with a very high B and I received an A. If you take the online class, there is a group project. It's quite easy even though it sounds more difficult because its online. Group members just chat via email and are assigned equal work.

Professor Groff easily became one of my favorite professors by far. Loved her energy and there was always something to take away from her lectures. The workload may seem overwhelming when she first gives you the syllabus, but I found the class an easy A (as long as you completed the assignments). The group projects were fun and easy as well.

I took her online class which I got an average grade, B-. When you finish to take quizzes or tests, most of them will not give you right answer that I do want to know which is correct answer. If I know the right answer from the tests or quizzes, I will learn new things you never heard of it. No credits. She is very good at response or feedback.

Took this class as online course. Clear syllabus, calendar for work, and straight forward learning. You do have to schedule for two proctored exams (which means you'll physically go to an FSCJ campus to take exam). Just do the assigned work and write well, and you'll pass.

I wish I could have taken this class in person, not only for the benefit of having access to the professor, but also the fact that she is hot.

She gave quick responses to my questions and concerns via email. I just wish she gave me a better grade, since I tried my best at writing. Due to the fact that I am not a skilled writer I was required to take this class; therefore, the harsh grading I received was kind of annoying. I did all my work and only received a B plus almost minus.

This was a good class to take in preparation of obtaining an Early Education Degree. There were lots of projects, but they were all 'fun', like creating a class website, creating lessons, etc. The only thing I did not enjoy as much was the group project. It was hard to get with everyone, since I took this online. Overall, great class.

This class was only 7 weeks long and met on Tuesdays only. At first I was dreading the class because it was a 2 and a half hour class, but after the first week, it wasn't. Mostly got out of class early, and discussions every week. Only have to take the final if you miss one class. One group project at the end, but its very fun. Love the teacher.

I have taken Professor Groff for two different courses now and I would recommend anyone to take her as well if they have the opportunity! This course was all online but there was 120 hours of childcare observation and Professor Gross was extremely encouraging and helpful. She responds very quickly to emails. You will learn a lot in this course.

LOVE THIS PROFESSOR ! Shes so caring . Class is so interesting . Dont skip a class and youll be exempt from final . Each module has a quiz and discussion and sometimes and extra activity , do the work youll be fine . She sends emails to remind you :))

Professor Groff is great! Her class is very interesting. Don't expect to just listen to lectures. She puts people in small groups every week. Sometimes it's a great experience and sometimes it's a little frustrating.

I took this class at a accelerated rate in just 7 weeks. It is a lot of work but very informative for students looking to become teachers. Professor Shannon explains what is expected at the beginning of the class and is open to working with students that need anything. There is a group project that is required to pass the class. Dr. Groff is the best professor I've ever had. She was really nice, pretty relaxed and a fair grader. I learned a lot and I personally found her work incredibly easy, but also really fun! I will say I loved the group project, but hated the people I was with, but that's nothing on her. So, be weary about your group mates. But overall 10/10.
