Ms. Lienhart is very knowledgeable, organized, and interesting. She is kooky and funny and very hot. I learned a lot from her class. And, I learned that learning can be fun.

What can I say, it's a Stats class. Shannon has a great way of explaining complicated concepts to make them easy. Go to all classes, do the homework, and work the handouts and you earn an A or B. Past her prime, but still cute. Needs to lose a few pounds.

I am now taking Calculus and because of the strong math base I recieved from her I am doing great. Really prepares you for whats ahead. Emphasizes concepts that I see now really are important! She's a sweetheart

She is a GREAT teacher! I had the hardest time with stats, but when I took her class she made it so easy for me to learn. I RECOMMEND her to anyone who has to take math.

Really cut and clear explaining math as if it weren't math. I usually get D's and low C's, I scored 100 on the final. I was able to pick her brain and she taught me sufficiently what is necessary for learning and achieving an good grade. She's great!

very illarious because she's a dork which kept me entertained. Kept it real and made teaching the material as easy as possible, straight to the point.

She is a joy to be in class with. Her enthusiasm keeps you guessing and awake in a class that many would dread taking. Stats was already something I liked, but thanks to her, I am seriously considering making a career out of it. And best of all, she makes the class easy for everyone; she's great.

I took this teacher for math 15 and I actually looked forward to the class. She made mathe interesting and she wasnt an uptight proffesor. I thought she simplified the concepts well and had some good routines worked out. Sometimes it seamed rushed, but overall I would take her again if I could.

These comments about lateness are bizzare. She told us that she has another class right before and she awlays would stay after to help. great teacher. And I hate math.

Excellent math prof. Ms. Lienhart does a very good job of helping students that don't understand the subject at hand. A very clear approach of understanding the concept of calculus, before memorizing formulas. I never left her class without learning and having fun.

I had to break down and buy a graphing calculator for this class, but she shows you the shortcuts to figure out stats problems. She gave me a glimpse into how powerful math is, and is really quirky (she always carries a diet pepsi can) and funny.

A FABULOUS instructor who knows the material and explains it well. Interested in students and willing to help. Prepares you for the tests and grades fairly. Wish she taught all of the math courses at Palomar - if you have a difficult time in math TRY to get into her class, she'll clear things up for you. She's great!

Cool Teacher she tries her best for students to understand the topics. Do not miss a class b/c you will be lost. She gives a review b4 each test which is very similar to the real test. Take math 120 with her, you will learn a lot. It is true she cannot function without her diet pepsi.

shes makes the class fun and exciting every class meeting. its not an easy A class or an easy C class for that matter. when she tells you that you shouldnt miss a class because its hard to make up the material learn she means it.you must pay attention, ask if you have questions or get help at the tutor center or study with someone that really knows

She is very good at explaining things to people like that, and makes tests easy by giving practice and telling you also how to differentiate betw problems. Got to admit she is a really easy teacher if you do your homework and study/review for the test!! Only students who fail the class are those who dont do there homework and expect a free ride!! !!

Even if this was about two years ago, Shannon was the one who helped me get it started in my math classes all over again. Take this professor she is good .... alwasys energetic and keeps class alive. I can GUARANTEE that she is one of THE BEST prof. out there. If you have to take math course, be sure to look for her name. YOU WON'T REGRET!

she is very good at explaining the material. It is hard to catch up if you miss a lecture. She always gives practice quizzes before the actual quiz which really helps.She drops 2 of the lowest quiz grades.

Professor Lienhart is a COOL teacher I ever had. I usually dont like doing homework in Math, but I did do homework on the section that she said it is hard and I got reward for that. Easy A if you COME TO CLASS.

Very patient and helpful, I hate math but as long as you study hard and do the optional homework you will do fine. The tests are not easy but she lets you have notes sometimes and gives you an idea of what will be on the test. Best math teacher i ever had.

She is really good. Took it over the summer and was pretty easy. You some stats tricks with card games too. The things you learn in this class can actually be applied to the real. tests are easy if you study your notes. I didn't do the homework and was fine and math is usually somewhat hard for me.

Great teacher. I went to Las Vegas during the semester and it was fun to apply stuff I learned in class to gambling. The class was fun, you need to attend to understand. I missed one class and was lost but she quickly helped me and was very clear in explaining. Highly reccomended.

Shannon Lienhart is one of the best math teachers I have had at Palomar. If you go to most of the classes and put a little effort into the homework the tests will be a breeze.

Her class is great, no problems at all. Just show up to class and do the home work and you should be fine on the exams. She offers office hours to help you if you need it.

Awesome teacher. Just go to class and listen to her lectures, and you'll do great. Calculous is tough, but she makes it as straight forward and understandable as it can be. Definitely take Calc 1 with her.

This professor is a very good math teacher. She is able to break things down and make them easy to understand. Her class is fun and enjoyable. She is a bit disorganized and can be a bit lazy at times. She is also a very strict grader. All and all I would recommend her class; she is a very good teacher.

Professor Lienhart is an excellent math teacher. She made things very clear and easy to understand. She also will make herself available for help outside of class. She also has a homework quiz every Friday..which might sound annoying but it actually really forces you to pay attention. I would take any Calculus class with her.

She will help anyone with a question. After class, office hours, and during class. She does examples on the board that are all you need to do the homework. the weekly quiz and tests are all based off the homework. If you pay attention in class, do your homework, and ask questions, you will do more than fine. Most entertaining professor EVER.

Great teacher, just be sure to pay attention and take good notes. Don't be afraid to ask her questions or have her explain how she got an answer. She tries to help you succeed as much as she can, so don't take that for granted. Got an A in the class no problem, just don't be lazy.

Great math teacher. She's willing to help you in and outside class, and will stay longer after class if you have any questions. Exams are exactly like the homework, so if you study you should have no problem passing the class. Plus, she has a nice rack!

Great teacher! Teaches the subject (Calculus I) well and makes reasonable tests. She gives partial credit where partial credit is due. Calc is not an easy subject, but as long as you do the homework and study guides you can do well in prof. Lienhart's class. A+ highly recommend

I enjoyed her class and learned alot from her. She does make alot of mistakes but I feel like she makes up for it in other areas. She gives study guides that look almost identical to her tests and she always gives partial credit. Weekly hw quizzes makes sure that you stay on top of hw! Make sure you do the hw if you want to do well on her tests.

Very easy class if you follow along. Homework is not mandatory, but quiz are based off hmwk every week. Test are identical to studyguide given. Calc is a tough class so you gotta dedicate outside time no matter what. Very understanding teacher and helpful. Answered all my questions and emails even on day of test. Always there for office as well.

It's so refreshing to have a teacher that actually tries to help her students pass. Not only is she funny, her lectures are clear and easy to understand. She has her own homework problems which she uses in tests and exams, so doing the homework pretty much guarantees you'll pass the class. Her tests and exams are fair, no trick questions.

Lienhart was excellent for statistics. Took this class during the summer,got an A and Im horrible at math. You ALWAYS know what to expect (she makes study guides just like the test), she's very approachable for help,shes very clear about everything. Tests are pretty easy if you do the study guides, final was long but also relatively easy. Take her.

She is the nicest teacher ever! If you are stuck on a problem, you can take a picture of the problem with your phone, send it to her by email and she will tell you what you did right or how to do it. (She gets back to you very quickly) Gives you study guides for test and test are very fair. Take Her Class!

Easily the best math professor at Palomar. She wrote her own curriculum for her Calc class, and it's FANTASTIC. You don't even have to buy a book, she just gives you handouts. She's super interesting in class, too.

Great professor! She's very interested in statistics, and writes most of her own in-class materials. There is a book for nightly homework, but it's not too expensive and the homework isn't bad. She really helps you prepare for tests too. 10/10 would recommend!

The most understanding and caring professor I have ever had. When I was facing a hardship in my personal life, she understood my situation and helped me pass the course. Her lectures are very easy to understand and make sense. Quizzes are exactly from homework, so they are fairly easy. Her exams are straight forward as well. Take her for calc!

I've taken Calculus with different professors (difficult ones; I had a very limited selection)--Lienhart was my saving grace. Her lectures are clear, concise, and her explanations are easy to understand. She is also transparent in her expectations from you, is a generous grader, and only teaches relevant material likely to show up as you move up.

An amazing lady and professor! Lienhart definitely knows her math and how to teach. Lectures are crystal clear and very well organized. She writes all important concepts on the board and it is easy to follow her as she solves sample problems. Mrs. Lienhart was the best math teacher I've ever had. I took Algebra 1 before and had to jump out of the class and was devastated. Mrs. Lienhart will stay before and after class to help you with hw. questions. She doesn't belittle you if you have a question and is fun and cheerful. She makes math understandable, even for a no-nothing like me.

Loved the class. She's so helpful and does her best to make sure her students pass. Her lectures are always interesting and at one point bought us donuts in class when the cubs won the world series! Lots of inside jokes, but it's what motivated all of us to do well in the class.

Professor Lienhart is one of the best professors i've had in Palomar! She gives out quizzes almost everyday but they are literally questions from last night's homework. She is a very fun teacher! If you want to do well make sure you take time to talk to her and let her get to know you. She responds really well to students who attempt to make a connection with her. The tests are very hard and there is homework and quizzes every single class. The quizzes are just problems from the homework though so DO THE HOMEWORK.

I took this class after failing a previous statistics class (with a terrible professor). After this class I genuinely enjoy math. Ms. Lienhart makes it so easy to understand. You can ask her questions anytime and she actually cares about how you're doing in the class. Hilarious. She also provides study guides that are almost exactly like the exam.

Doesn't use a book for this class at all. Really cares about her students and wants us to pass. is easily upset when people aren't paying attention or are talking over her. Quiz almost every week and four exams. Great study guides. Daily HW but she stopped collecting about halfway through the semester. i'm taking her her again next semester.

She is AWESOME!! I would definitely take her again, she was very helpful all semester and always made sure to help individuals who were not understanding. Make sure to attend every class, we did not need a book and DO the homework!

Awesome teacher genuinely cares about the students very willing to help when needed also gives space to those who don't require as much help very lenient on rules not much of a stickler but also enforces rules so nothing ever gets out of hand, not homework heavy if assigned very manageable overall great teacher who will help when needed.

There is homework from the text book about every night. The next class there is typically a quiz which is just two or three questions straight from the homework. There is a group project but it's not the most difficult thing ever. She cares about her student learning and makes it easy (ish) to learn it.

Prof. Lienhart is a rock star! I went into class dreading stats, but she soon allayed all my fears. She makes stats understandable, non-intimidating, and even fun!
