wondreful women, she loves to teach and she knows her material. quizs are fun and exam are hard so study study study, one good thing is you know what the test will be because she reviews with you, its just alot i mean alot of material at one time. Take her Shes a GREAT TEACHER and PERSON her personality is awesome

Great teacher! I took her during the summer and it was VERY difficult, mainly because there were 4-5 chapters per exam. (LOTS OF INFO TO MEMORIZE!) She reviews quiz info right before you take it & goes over everything on the test the day before. Very helpful! My only complaint is that she talks a bit fast so bring a laptop to take notes!

Ms. Thomas is such a sweetheart. She is intelligent and wants you to learn. Blackboard helps. Test are reasonable if you study like your suppose to. Her quizes are so easy bc she reviews right before you take them. Pay attention. She is funny and helpful. I would definately take her again. HIghly recommended!

She makes difficult topics easy to understand. Test questions come straight from her reviews. Helpful tip: print her slideshow from Blackboard before class, then just highlight main points as needed during her lectures.

Ms. Thomas was excellent! Some of the lectures were not that interesting but she did her best to make you stay awake. She is real patient, but cannot tolerate too much immaturity. Although there is a quiz every week, she reviews before, and she lets you know what is gonna be on the exams. Print out her lectures and show up for class. Easy A or B!!

She made herself available if you needed her. She made class enjoyable. All her test gave you a good chance at the questions. I wish ever teacher could take lessons from Ms.Thomas

Ms.Thomas is GREAT! Highly recommended. Although, in my opinion, she's just a lil too lenient towards the disruptive students- but that's the sweetness of her!

Great setup for an online class and very helpful teacher.

She is extremely nice and helpful. She will always give you an extension on homework if needed. She gave me an A in the class and I actually made a C!! How is that for awesome???

Took the online course. She puts all material on blackboard (chapter outlines and powerpoints) and that really helped because I didn't have to spend so much time reading the textbook. She's very nice and helpful and responds quickly to email and gives extensions when needed. Would highly recommend her!

Great teacher! I took this class on-line and she puts everything you need to learn up on BlackBoard in an organized fashion (pictures included). She is very fair at grading and offers extra credit opportunities. A very helpful class for any student who is advancing to A&P 1/2 in the future!!!

This is a great teacher. Espically if you have a busy family life, she is very understanding. Her class was so helpful. I took her online and it was really one of the best classes I have taken at MCC. As long as you study you lab assigments online you will pass her test and class. SHE GREAT!!! LOVED HER CLASS!!!

Awesome teacher. I took her on-line and she is very organized. For tests and quizzes, she lets you do "practice" tests that are just like the real ones. So, if you don't do well, its your ike the real ones. All the resources you need to make a good grade are on-line. I barely had to use the book! Highly recommended!

Very helpful teacher and very organized class. She gives extensions upon request. The class requirements are clear. She posts a lot of announcements, so all you really have to do to stay on top of things in the class is read the announcements and follow the course calendar. Be sure to pay attention to her labs for the exams. They R on the test!

This class is no joke but if you have to take it Ms. Thomas is the way to go. She gives tons of extra credit and allows extensions if you ask.

This is NOT an easy class. A lot of material & you need to study everyday & utilize the practice quizzes BUT if you apply yourself & study you will be fine. Communicate w/ her & ask questions; pay attention to the announcements & don't waste her time asking ?'s she already answered. I made a A, take Mrs. Thomas if you can, she's awesome!

Not that hard of a class. Most exam questions come from assignment questions that you can answer until you get the right answer. Wasn't crazy about A&P revealed, but didn't ever use it. I studied for the lab from the handouts and practice quizzes and made an A. You do have to study to do well, but overall a very organized and reasonable class.

My best teacher so far! Out of all the online classes I have taken Ms. Thomas’ class was the easiest to navigate. Her notes are very thorough and have videos and exercises that really help a lot in understanding the material. She was extremely understanding and easy to get along with. She is perfect!!!

Shannon Thomas is Awesome ! Although her online class was overwhelming at times, Mrs. Thomas was always available with suggestions and would always respond to emails in a timely manner. Content of class material is heavy and you will only pass the test if you take the online practice test literally 10-20 times or more. Would recommend .

I took Ms Shannon in class. Very easy..do your lab book at home that way you can practice on the anatomical fixers in lab. Also if you study her practice test you will pass her test. I can't say that enough study her practice test, study practice test, study practice text, study practice test..You will pass the test and the class. I recommend her..

Thomas is a great teacher and a nice person. I enjoyed her class. Her powerpoints/online tutorials is the way to pass the class. Make sure you understand what she is teaching on them, and a little memorization and there should be no problem passing.

Mrs. Thomas was awesome! As long as you study the material and come to class you can make an A. Her tests are pretty easy like I said as long as you study. If you do the practice tests 10-20 times you're sure to make a good grade! She also offers tons of bonus opportunities (take advantage!) I would deff take her again!

Mrs. Thomas is such an amazing professor! I was out of school for 8 years and picked it up again with extreme ease thanks to her positive attitude and funny lectures. She does a great job laying out what she expects of you and teaches the material very well. I am disappointed I won't get to take her for all of my biology classes!

Absolutely amazing. Everything is laid out for you from the beginning. You can work ahead of time if you wish. Allows you to retake assignments to increase your grade. Test are carbon copy of the practice test that you too can keep retaking. The answers are identical. There is one group assignment. She rearranged our schedule when the computer mis functioned and no assignments due that week. Returns emails almost immediately. A&P2 here I come. Love her teaching style. No text book needed. Don't buy it.

Professor Thomas is great. Firstly a very nice lady, very understanding if something goes wrong and give you every opportunity to make up work if you get behind. Course itself is a typical A&P class, lots of memorization and her workbooks are helpful to say the lease. Take her classes she is great.

I almost dropped this class when first viewing the material for exam 1, thinking I wouldn't be able to absorb it all. I ended up making an A+! The weekly lessons are helpful and the practice test are a must.

YOU WILL GET AN A!! and YOU will retain information SO much better than you would taking ANY other teacher!! I wish she taught ever class at MCC!! Please take Shannon Thomas! and DO NOT be intimidated by the assignments!! Most EASIEST "A" ever and You WILL learn!! She makes it SO EASY that a toddler could do it! Just do the work! ! Easy A. Daily work can be done until you make 100. She requires verbal discussions but gives full credit if you follow the grading rubric. Tests are EXACTLY like the practice tests so take the practice test 20+ times, memorize the answers and you're set. One complaint - discussion grades don't come fast so you don't know how you're progressing.

She was really cool! She made A&P as fun as it can be. She wasn't hard to get along with and was a very nice lady. I was taking her class as a prerequisite for a healthcare program but I have since switched majors. Had that not been the case I would have definitely stuck with her for more biology classes!!!

I am also in her 1301 class. she would get defensive when people questioned her about practice tests and quizlet cause she does goes out of her way to help people succeed and then people question her and I see were she would fell unappreciated but other then that she is an amazing teacher and really knows what she is talking about.

Professor Thomas was amazing! She answered any questions I had within 24 hours of me emailing her. She was very understanding with deadline extensions and whatnot. There wasn't much homework, but you definitely had to study in advance for the tests. She also provided practice tests on Blackboard which was extremely helpful.

I love Mrs, Thomas! She's an awesome professor. She is very nice until you don't pay attention in class, she also has a bunch of cheesy jokes. I can not stress this enough, TAKE THE PRACTICE TESTS. Its literally the exact thing as the test! Show that you care about your grade she will do the same.

She uses things like quizlet, practice tests, in class reviews, and gave us time in class to study. If we did not get something she paused and helped us understand it better before continuing on. She does get off task occasionally but she is there for you to pass if you're having trouble talk to her and she will try to give you some study tips.

Seems like a lot of work when starting out but once getting started you realize it's nothing difficult. Weekly assignments you can attempt as many times as you'd like with no points deducted, discussion boards are easy and she gives practice test that are identical to the test. You would have to be trying to fail in order for it to be possible.

Took an online summer course with her. Wasnt super hard to make an A, thanks to being able to retake quizzes and chapter lessons. She was always quick to respond to emails too. Was definitely better than my AP1 class at a different school.

A&P1 online was easy. She gives you unlimited tries on quizzes and tests and records the highest grade. There is extra credit as well. You will not regret taking her. She is always very responsive and quick to grade. Only one-2 chapters per week. She genuinely wants you to do well.

Amazing lectures. All material is posted online, and she usually prints out lecture notes to give to class. Everything in notes is on test. She'll tell you what's on the test. Review is EXACTLY like the test, no surprises. Lesson plans and quizzes can be done unlimited times to make a 100. The way she teaches is great and easy to understand.

Professor Thomas is the best professor that I've ever had. She is so sweet and so funny and really cares about the students and the material that she is teaching. Passing is easy as long as you do the homework and she has practice quizzes before exams which is very helpful. She genuinely wants everyone to pass.

This was an easy A class. As long as you follow the instruction in the syllabus, you will get high grades. Testes are exactly like the practice testes. Do the practice testes multiple times, and you'll be fine. There are 5 lecture tests (included final test), and 2 lab testes, and she also drop the lowest grade.

Professor Thomas was quick to reply with emails and always very sweet and caring. The class was VERY organized and there are lot of study resources like Quizlets, chapter lessons, and practice tests. It does help to make several attempts on practice tests. Assignments are based on completion and discussions are easy and interesting. Awesome class!

She knows her stuff! If she does know she will tell you. She is also good about telling you what will be included on the test as she is going through the daily lessons, so you will know what to study.

AMAZING CLASS 10/10 perfect lectures and she makes it super fun! Great PowerPoints and makes the class feel comfortable! Provides many materials to study with! Listen she points out exactly what will be on the exams and what to study as well for the lab practicals

At first I felt overwhelmed by this class, but as I started taking advantage of the practice test, I realized it's pretty straightforward. Take the practice test multiple times and you will make an A! The test are proctored and she drops the lowest exam grade and homework / DB grades.

She is very understanding and helpful! If you take her practice tests you will pass! I made an A in this course. Homework is easy and her course outline is simple, she tells you exactly what needs to be done each week! She's amazing!

She is very fair and truly cares. She wants all her students to succeed in her class. Her practice tests are very similar to the actual exams. It's a hard class but she makes it easier to learn. Insite of the ratings, Professor Thomas has great communication skills. What I've learned from this class was critical thinking skills. Had this professor for AP I and II and can say she is as amazing as they get! The most caring professor I have met. Passionate about what she does and invested in the success of her students 100%. Reachable at all times, both online or in person. Clear grading criteria and overall makes this challenging course very achievable!!

As long as you do your homework on time and do the discussion boards, you are good to go with assignment grades. Her exams are proctored, but if you take all her practice tests at least 30 times, you can make an A. On the lab practicums, be sure to look over all her lab presentations because there will be some stuff not on her lab practice tests.

Professor Thomas is absolutely amazing. For my personal learning style, there's nothing I would change about her. She is straightforward about the demands of the class and expect expectations. She is also understanding and accommodating where possible. Professor Thomas was a key role in my success in this 5 week minimester!!

Took Prof.Thomas for A&P I and II. I got an A in both, easily. Clear syllabus, organized, and tells you exactly what is due. Practice quizzes exactly match exams; I retook them 20 times each. If you do that, you'll get an A, if you don't, you won't. Lots of extra credit and if you put in effort you can 100% get an A. Wonderful professor overall.

Professor Thomas was one of the most empathetic and thoughtful teachers I've ever had. She always made lectures fun and easy to learn, always there to help, and made the class less stressful. She is a tough grader and expects highly of her students, because of how much she supports and is willing to work with you.

If you put in the work and use the resources she provides, you will get a good grade! Her practice quizzes were great and really helped with memorization. Passed both finals with 100% because of how great she is!

I loved Mrs.Thomas! She gives bonus point opportunities for exams and a lot of study resources for her exams & lab exams. Very lecture heavy so be sure to show up for class, but if you happen to miss she's very good at responding to emails and helping you out. The only downside about her is that she puts grades in kind of late.

Professor Thomas is an amazing professor, she lectures at a good speed but also stops and asks if she made everything clear. She also has many extra credit opportunities such as her “practice tests” which are exact questions on the exam and if u do them enough you'll ace the exams! The subject itself is not easy, but do the work and you'll be fine
