After each class that I had with her I would walk out feeling depressed. The Class started with 40+ students and ended with less than 15. At the time of the final the highest grade in the class was a C. The worst teacher ever!

Makes the most unneccesarilly difficult problems on the test. Can't understand what she's talking about. Frustrated the "#!@#" out of me. I had to repeat this entire class over. Anyotherteacher u no of where no can get a friggin "B"&#

Simply she bites ass. One of the worst teachers to ever get a degree. You can't talk to her one on one, can't understand a word that she says and she just overall is not a good person. Please for gods sake dont take her class.

This class by far was one of the hardest classes I've ever taken. Not because of the material, but because she doesn't know how to teach. And she also put concepts on tests that were never covered in class. One of the worst teachers I've ever taken.

Makes a class that should be easy very difficult. Nice lady but tells very corny jokes, terrible at explaining things. Writes too fast and goes through sections too fast. DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS UNLESS YOU WANT TO FAIL BECAUSE EVERYONE IN MY CLASS IS!! THE CLASS IS TORTURE AND IT GOES ON FOREVER!!!!

She expects everyone else to be as good at math as she. I think that she tries her hardest to make the students not do well. BOARING. Really nice lady, but I suggest taking the class with someone else. I got an A but that's only because I showed up everyday. Everyone else in the class failed or barely passed

Horrible Professor. Its really kind of hard to focus on just one fault, they all are pretty bad; lack of clarity, amount of homework, helpfullness. She gives off a a feeling of making people feel stupid. I'm three weeks from the end of the semester and 2/3 of the class dropped.

Horrible horrible, HORRIBLE professor. Hard to understand and made me hate math. The class is easy and so is most of the math and she made EVERYTHING hard. You can barely understand the crazy lady because her accent is so thick. DO NOT take this math class if you want to pass!

In my opinion NOT A GOOD TEACHER. She is a facilitator not teacher. Has high expectations that you already know everything about algebra period. Assigns overloading homework & then she complains about how much she hates grading it. Not helpful at all & passes you off to a tutor. She's very condesending. Did not like her teaching skills at all.

Sharareh is a horrible teacher. She is very condescending and expects a lot of her students. I understand this approach when it comes to higher level math courses. However for math 107 she's just terrible. She gives tons of hw and is very inconsistent with the grading. Overall she's probably one of the worst teachers at SBCC. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

I have attended SBCC for 3 years, had multiple math teachers, with many different professors at CC. Masooman is by far the WORST teacher I have ever had! Not only is she mean, but she takes pleasure in watching students fail. I, like other students, got 2 B, 1 A on her test and got a C. She is an overall unpleasant person/clas. Never take her.

She Pretty much sucks she doesn't explain anything and she is super boring, I will never take her class again because she can't teach people hopw to learn, she thinks she is helpful but she pretty much makes you learn everything your self. DONT TAKE HER CLASS :)

This teacher does not know how to teach people math. She loves the good students but doesn't give attention to the ones who need it most. I took Math 100 last semester with her and failed. This semester I'm in Chang Lee's class and I'm getting an A. Teachers actually do make a big difference.

NEVER take this class. she takes off test points for no reason. class was over full when it started and only 14 kids remain at the end. 3 kids got B all else got C or worse. lectures extremely boring. this is first D i ever got. avoid at all costs!

I gave this professor a chance even after reading the reviews. I made a huge mistake. She does not know how to teach this course AT ALL. She gives nicknames to steps which get confusing when trying to learn something at home. She is rude, unapproachable, and the worst teacher I've ever had. Literally the WORST math class I've ever taken in my whole life. She's very harsh if you struggle with math and actually need the help. Assigns way too much homework and can't even explain the problems and solution half the time. She is really rude and mean and doesn't try to let her students pass.

Worst. Math. Class. Ever. No lenience on late homework, everything is graded hard. So much homework. Lectures aren't helpful at all because you don't take notes, you're given a worksheet at the beginning of class and do that the entire time (with her). Worksheets are 5x easier than the homework. If you don't grasp the material, good luck.

Worst mistake of my life. This class was 15 weeks of constant stress. I took it thinking oh I'll just get these two math classes out of the way and take this ESP class HUGE MISTAKE! Expect lots of homework, quizzes, and difficult tests and two finals!! Her teaching style is very confusing and not clear. This is a very fast paced class. Good luck.

The lecture is not useful at all, it is relevant, but she does not explain it well. Reading the textbook is a must in order to understand what is going on in the class. She is also not flexible at all, so plan accordingly and do not miss any lectures.

This class has soooooooooooooooooo many assignments!!!!!!!!!! YEAH, she only talks about the pink sheet that she give you every class, and the homework is muuuuuuuuuuuuucccccchhhh harder than the material she went through!!!!!!!!!!! She is patronise, because you can't not use your method to solve the question, you need to do what she said!!!!!!!!!!

She has an okay teaching style. When it comes to the tests they are absolutely horrible and do not pertain to anything learned in class at times. More than half of the kids dropped. She has a very precise way of doing things not open minded at all. She is very cold, intimidating and not at all caring...

Listen to these comments. I decided to take this class with a Heavy load of credits, which was a bad decision. I literally had just enough time to rush through the hours of assigned HW, and still barely scratched by. To top it off, the HW is monotonous, and tests dont test material she lectures on. in Avoid this teacher if at all possible.

You have to study almost everyday outside of class for this class. No study guide for the final and timed tests, quizzes, etc. She doesn't collect every homework assignment. Has the students finish the notes, she rushes when teaching new material to get through many sections of the book.

I had always been good at Math until I took this class. I took 12 units and I invested most of my time in this class and still failed it. Test were more difficult than homework assignments. During the first test, she provided me with a test for Math 117 by mistake and I realized after I had spent 20 minutes that were not compensated.

Lacks actual teaching skills and relies on the website Aleks to teach the whole class of math 95, math 95n and math 107.

This teacher is very rude to her students and is unable to teach. Shes very aloof and only cares about herself. She needs to let her ice melt a little. I do not recommend her class even though I did well due to my own excellent study habits.

Masooman is not a good instructor. Gives way too many howmework assignments and does not support students to succeed. Like all the other students mentioned, she is cold and unpleasant. Stay away!

Lacks useful teaching skills and empathy towards students. Can be harsh at times. Did not find her "tips" useful at all. I had to teach myself everything. Wish I had taken this class with another professor. Did not enjoy.

Sharareh Massoman is an old school professor, she did not so much as publish her Canvas page. She would fill out her pre-made note sheets every class and promptly end each section by asking if there were any questions. To which the class would chuckle in unison before moving on. Do yourself a favor and find a better professor for mathematics.

Masoomans biggest issue is that she rushes through lessons without putting in any effort to teach. I did not sense a drive or motivation to be a helpful teacher. Its disappointing that shes there to make a living and not to help her students succeed. I guess the system is to blame that once a professor becomes permanent it is hard to get rid of.

I had to teach myself all the concepts. Did not learn much from her. I would not recommend taking this class with this professor. Find a better one.

You are given a lot of homework and most of the time, she gives 2 quizzes: one at the beginning of class and one at the end. If you miss class, you won't understand the material and it is hard to catch up. Additionally, attendance will dock you down a lot of points.

First of all, she is not a kind person and definitely not a teacher who cares about how and what students learn. The quality of her teaching style was poor and she failed to artfully teach concepts in a way that was graspable. I have had a lot of good math teachers in the past, and she is definitely not one.

Masooman is very strict, gives a TON of homework, and will randomly collect homework. If you are sick that day, she won't accept it later on either. The amount of work is overwhelming, there are up to 2 quizzes per class, and I found her to be unapproachable. I don't recommend unless math is your passion or you're seriously good at it.

Worst teacher I've had at city college. She didn't seem to care about her students, whether they succeeded or failed.

Avoid this instructor who is not only very rude and impatient but also openly humiliates students who ask clarification questions for understanding. She is unavailable during office hours and exudes a haughty "Do not bother me¨ attitude. There are much better professors who care about their students and teaching. Take them.

I hated this class. She assigns a ton of homework and she is not a very warm person. I would not take this class ever again and I would not recommend her to anyone. She also doesn't assign extra credit unless you get every question on a test or quiz right. If you don't test well good luck keeping your grade up in this class.

Professor Masooman is a terrible teacher to take for a topic as difficult as calculus. I have been to her office hours numerous times but still, have to teach myself everything. Her notes are bareboned and don't even go with what is found in the homework. She doesn't allow notes or even a cheat sheet on the exam. Honestly the worst teacher at SBCC

She is awful. She only does office hours for less than an hour while she gives more than hour long lecture videos with 2 hour homework. I literally have been using the school provided tutors for everything because she cannot teach. Dont choose her ever. She is not a good person giving homework for everyday. Even giving homework on exam days.

An absurd amount of homework. She is one of those teachers who thinks her class is the only class someone takes. Her teaching itself isn't very great either as she just does problems and doesn't actually explain how to do any of it. Not a good teacher and would not take again.

On her final exam she spoke through a portion of our test time, and only allowed us 3 minutes per question; she does this for all of her exams. Your only saving grace is the Web Quest because unless you've taken this class before or are extremely familiar with the formulas, it'll be difficult. Study domains. Last you're on your own, get a tutor.

literally the worst professor I have ever had. If theres any other professors teaching a course that shes also teaching choose a different one. Least helpful person ive ever met and if you have a question dont bother asking it. She explains everything in the most difficult and confusing so good luck understanding anything shes trying to teach.

Easiest way to fail Math150. 5 homework assignments per week that take up a lot of time. Hardest grader I've probably ever had, very picky about problem format. and she gives very short amount of time for the exams with questions that can take up to 10 minutes to complete. Also cuts into your exam time by talking a lot before the test starts.

No just no don't do the mistake of your life and take a class with her. Trust me it's not even funny how a professor can be so harsh and dull. These professors are very dangerous , it's very very hard to get an A with her. The 5 credit course will feel like a 10 credit course . I really can't believe she still teaches, I'm shocked.

You most likely not going to have an A with her. She might be the reason you won't transfer into your top school if you take her. Awful teaching skills and a non captivating personality.

I don't think she is fit to teach an online course. That's all I have to say.

This teacher was awful! I felt I could't ask questions during class because she humiliated me a couple of times. Keep in mind this is a flipped class. Meaning you watch the lectures on your own at home. Then go to school for 2 and half hours to complete 1 PAGE of work. The teacher is just rude, would not take this class ever again.

Masooman is not approachable and has poor teaching skills. The college should consider hiring other teachers who actually care. She is passive aggressive and makes math harder than it needs to be.

Professor Sharareh Masoonman will assign more homework than any teacher you've ever had. She will treat math 150 like a full time job, and will be passive aggressive if you don't know how to do something. Do not take this class for your own mental health, even my math savvy friends had a miserable time.

Non-captivating and is just rude. I would try to take someone else you can actually learn from.

Please do not take her class. I am telling you because it was traumatic for me. She does not care about the students and is not helpful. As a person, she is not nice either. I had withdrawn her class for the sake of my mental health.

She's gives very hard exams! The homework work would always take me like 2 hours to do and that's rushing it indeed treats this class like a full time job have to be very ! Dedicated to the class even though I was it wasn't enough

Worst Professor I have ever had. Please save yourself. I have always been very good with Calculus, however she makes it impossible. She teaches horribly. Nearly my whole class dropped. Her tests are impossible and half of the information you learn will just not be on the test. Run while you can. Your mental health will be ruined. TRUST ME..
