I thought I would not need this course, but I found out I was wrong. Rude awaken. Colleeg Success has taught me to manage my time wisely and how to take great notes in class. This course needs to be taken by all who enters college for the first time andor returning to college and did not take Ms. Henderson's course. Online class. Do not take it without the book. The quizzes are fine the participation is to write on discussion board and take the test and do Educational Plan. It was really useful. Great course. Slow to respond to email but will review something if you have a question or think you shouldve gotten it right. Take this if you are new to school.

Many people expect online classes to not provide any guidelines or helpfulness from the teacher, however this class was not the typical online class. Although Professor Henderson was straight to the point about the assignments, if a student needs assistance or further explanation she is there to help.

Taking this class online was great. She gets back to you quickly if you have any questions. She lets you work ahead and the grading criteria cant be more clear than hers. The only way you wont get an A in this class is if you just dont try.

I had the opportunity meet Ms. Henderson as a dual enrolled student at my high school. She works in recruiting students, so I took her class online. I'm really glad I did. Pretty easy and straight forward. You can take all the quizzes twice and you have five discussion boards. You also have one project called an educational plan but its literally just putting classes youve already taken (and/or plan to take) at hcc. Professor Henderson obviously has a lot of experience. She is always very well prepared. There are no tests in this class, so it is easy and convenient to work ahead. I worked way ahead and was able to focus on my more difficult classes during Finals.

I took this SLS 1106 class as a online course and is was an 8-week course. Which made the work seem crammed but really wasnt if you planned ahead. Great professor! Ms. Henderson is always available to help. There were assignments that I did not understand, so I contacted her. She took the time to meet with me outside of the office hours due to I worked. I received an "C", but I worked full-time and took full-time courses. I tendency to procrastination, but I know that I must apply myself to my studies.

Class was super simple and easy- quizzes give you two chances and answers with the content being self explanatory and a lot of which is stuff you're probably familiar with (how to set goals, peer pressure, etc.)- super kind too! Only thing I sweated on was the education plan (dual enrolling) so that was a bit extra work to go see a counselor.

One of the easiest and educational classes I have ever taken. Professor Henderson was very understanding while having rules as well. Passed class with 99% only because I didnt follow instructions one of them times. 100% recommend
