she is great! if you go to class, take notes and study them for the exams consider yourself a person who pass =P you dont even need to buy the book, her notes and explanations are more that enough to understand STAT

She is a great teacher with lots of examples. her midterms are exactly the same questions as her notes. She is also very helpful if you ask her questions. the only draw back to her class is that her english is rough but still understandable. Overall a very good teacher

A great Prof. very approachable and helpful after lectures.She gave lots of examples, which are similar to exam questions.But there is still a little complaint. She encouraged us to purchase the text at the beginning of term but I ended up never using it....it costed me $140....!!Overall I'd highly recommend her

good prof. as long as you go to class and copy down the notes you will do fine. dont even bother buying the textbook, her notes have everything you need. do the assigments cause they aren't that hard and she takes exam questions from them. got a 90 in the class with minimal effort

INITIALLY ACCENT THREW ME OFF, BUT GOOD PROF. TAKE DOWN HER NOTES. VERY WILLING TO HELP DURING OFFICE HOURS AND VERY HELPFUL. FINAL WAS COMBINED AND HAD SOME WEIRD STUFF FROM OTHER PROF, BUT EASY ENOUGH CLASS. I WOULD RECOMMEND.

This lady is a great prof. Go to class and take down the notes. Assigns are exactly like notes, midterms and finals are easy. Got an 80 with very little effort. Super nice if you go for help and wants students to do well. Recommend!

Great prof. Don't need the textbook if you go to all the classes. The assignments are really straight forward if you have the notes, same with the midterm and final.

If you need a calculus 110 course, take it from her. Very helpful, notes taken in class and assignments are all you need to get a good mark. She will prepare you well for the combined final.

Great prof! She was really great at explaining concepts in a really clear manner. When there was something the class didn't understand she made sure to do extra examples really thoroughly. No assignments - just quizzes, midterm and final. Didn't use the textbook except to practice extra questions. I would take another class from her definitely!

attend class she writes everything on the boards and explains it very well, she does have an accent but she is very understandable just dont talk in her class or she'll call you out dont buy the text book!!!! you seriously dont use the text book at all!!

Everything flowed together, there was plenty of opportunity to practice the material, and the midterm, quizes and final were all straightforward and simple if you attended the lectures. Nice to have an old-school teacher who didn't take crap from people and expected you to listen while you were in her class. Very easy to talk to, as well.

So far the best prof. I've had the pleasure of dealing with. She didnt allow anyone to talk during class so you actually had an opportunity to learn.We never used the textbook once, but she always provided samples and solutions of the work we did in class. Tests were identical to the samples provided and she always made herself available

I attempted Math 110 three times with other profs prior to taking it with Dr. Sharma. I would definitely recommend her! I didn't bother with the text book... her in-class notes and examples were enough. Her exam questions were based on her examples and her assignments, so there was no excuse to fail. Very fair!

Good math prof-clear and concise, explains well. She gets annoyed when people ask too many questions, but to be fair they shouldn't ask so many stupid questions. 5 Quizzes, 1 midterm and final, homework optional.

Best professor I have ever had. Sharma actually lays out the exact format of her tests in advance, showing you how many of each kind of question there will be and giving you practice questions that will be similar to those in each section. I cannot imagine a fairer professor. Why can't they all be like Sharma?

I highly recommend her! She is very nice, understanding and helpful. Course outline is detailed and exactly what you will expect throughout the course. Assignments are great and she goes through everything in class. Textbook is not required, I purchased it but never needed to use it because her lessons were great. Fair grader.

I had trouble with her class at first but I'd definitely take her again. Before every quiz (and there's plenty) she uploads practice assignments and often takes questions from there to put on the quiz. She prepares you well for the examinations. Good choice.

Probably one of the best professors to take for stats. She shows how to do everything step by step. Questions on her exams comes directly from the examples she use in class or from the assignments (if not the same, it will be similar). Go to class, pay attention, do the assignments (use them as practice) and you'll do just fine.

Took MATH102 with her and she proves to be a great professor. Yes, math for an hour at 8:30 am can be boring and sometimes it feels like it'll never end but she does her job well. She does a very good job at explaining and does many examples, quizzes are just like the practice assignments and theyre easy. Final was straightforward

TEXTBOOK IS NOT NEED. SERIOUSLY. I didn't even open the textbook and ended the class with a 98%. Sharma is such a nice lady, and is clear on what will be on quizzes, midterm, and final. Sometimes hard to understand at times, but you get used to it. Tries to tell stories with life lessons which are amusing. Would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Shuchita is a great prof! She's great at explaining the content & willing to re-explain troubled content outside of class time. Her quizzes and exams are straightforward and if you do poorly in one of the quizzes, you get to take it off. Although her class was earlier in the morning (8:30), I didn't mind it because she made the content seem simple.

In a word She is amazing . She is funny. Her all of the lectures are super clear. If you attend everyday u will definitely pass. She post assignment and solution which is a big help to prepare for exam. She is super carrying. Just love her. I'd definitely take classes with her again.

If you want to farm your GPA with minimum effort, this is the professor you want to take. She made the lectures so easy to understand, light homework and easy exams.

Don't like numbers? Don't worry! This prof will make you love it by the end of the semester. She allows students to use formula sheets on exams and she gives a lot of examples before quizzes. She gives no assignments. She guides you the topic step by step and does not move on unless everyone understands. She gives excellent grades.

She provides a lot of examples and rarely needed to use the textbook because she explains almost everything in depth enough for students to understand. There was also no assignments, just quizzes bi-weekly. She made my first semester of math in uni a breeze!

"Yes pleaseeee!" and "Yes my dearsss!" are some of her catchphrases. Love this prof to death. Would definitely take again.

if you are taking any type of math-based class with Sharma, take it. She is hands-down the best math professor I've had. I dropped out of calculus in high school because I hated math, but managed to pass with a 70+ in her class. She teaches in a way that it all the material falls nicely in order, unlike some profs who go all over the place.

The best prof I've ever had , would definitely take her class again if you want to get a good grade by doing less work she is the one.

One of my favorite profs by far. She teaches well and has clear expectations, fast grader, well put together. Id say mandatory attendance because she does not post lectures, you need to get the notes. If you show up, pay attention, and do the assignments you should do good, shes super caring and sweet. And math isn't my strong suit.

She has biweekly quizzes but they are very easy as long as you show up to lectures and do the practice questions she posts. Overall I highly recommend her she made me like math!

Honestly one of the best profs I had in my first year. Super sweet and caring, and teaches concepts very well. If you get the chance you should definitely take one of her classes.

Shuchita is an effective prof. She teaches you the concepts by doing examples with everyone following along. For my learning type I had to supplement at home, but she would be great if you learn by doing. She's very accessible and willing to help you if you are struggling, and she's very kind. No textbook needed, just come to class.

Easily the best prof at the University I got to learn from. Calculus 1 was a little all over the place for me but Ms Sharma definitely made the next class a lot easier. loved having the ability to have formulas and notes for quizzes and exams. There were a few lectures posted online because of other things but a great prof. easily a five star.
