Her test are too hard. We had 45 people to begin with in this class, and we ended up with 13. Everyone dropped because how hard she is. She is a good teahcer though.

Easy class. The way she taught reminded me of a high school teacher.

If you show her you want to pass, she's very helpful. Always was willing to re-work problems we didn't understand. She does grade hard though. Biggest plus is the fact that she speaks ENGLISH.

This class was pretty hard despite it being basic algebra. She can be really confusing at times but you can tell she really does care about her students. She grades the homework for correctness which is annoying, but it helps you to have the extra grade in the end. She was REALLY helpful during her office hours and once spent 30 minutes with me.

She is a good teacher, and always asked for class feedback on whether or not we understood. She was always helpful and gave pretty easy tests. However, I found the final to be difficult. From what I hear, she is much better than the other lower-level math professors.

She teaches the class time and when you ask questions in class she would always say see me after class. she tries really hard to help but does not do a good job of it.

I hate math, but she really is a good teacher if you bother to go to her class and learn. Don't skip! If you don't go or try, you won't pass. She's been teaching long enough to know the difference, and if you don't understand something she will help you only if you're trying. Do your online homework and you can potentially earn a test grade.

I really enjoyed her class. I understood what she taught, but when others didn't she tried to help them out. I liked how she was excited to teach math!

Really enjoyable teacher. Very straight forward with what she wants. The material is presented different, but as a teacher, you need different ways of presenting material. Open your mind to other ways of learning and try to correlate what you know to what is being presented and you will be fine. DON'T FORGET YOUR LABELS WHEN WORKING PROBLEMS.

Mrs. Underwood is a good teacher. She knows all of her material and makes it clear on the first day what she expects. I recommend doing your homework every night in the book even though she doesn't check it. She is there to help you but you have to put forth some effort to go see her. If you want a challenge I recommend taking her.

Ms. Underwood was a great teacher. Everything she went over was on the test. You must practice in order to pass, but she was very helpful. She takes her time to help you understand the material.

If you do your homework and study for the tests you should be fine. I honestly do not think she's as bad as everyone says. It's possible to make a good grade.

I've had Mrs. Underwood for 2 semesters and I would take her again. Yes, she grades hard. But she tells you exactly what she wants on the test. She is very clear, helpful, and nice. If you don't understand something she will continue trying until you do.

She is the best math teacher ive had at the university. She is very organized with notes and teaching, works all relevant problems, and is clear with what she expects from the class. I think math 250 is more of a hard class rather than considering Mrs. Underwood hard. Study for each test and complete all Wileyplus! I pulled an A the first shot!

She isn't the easiest, but she also isn't the hardest. She tells you exactly what she wants on her test. However, she only puts difficult problems on the test. I had a D before her curve & ended up with a C. That was nice on her part.

Super super hard. I passed with a 70 because I went to math hell regularly and worked so hard on my Wiley plus. She's super helpful but don't depend on her tests to keep your grade up. Never miss a class, you'll be lost forever and work your hardest. Many in my class failed and I barely made it. Math isn't my strongest subject either if that helps a little.

I personally think she is a great teacher. Yes math is going to be hard I mean its math... but if you are unsure or confused about stuff dont be afraid to ask her or go to her office hours. Also she is a very caring woman and was very helpful when I needed some extra support on some stuff. She wants you to succeed!

She is by far the best math professor I have taken at UL. The course is tough, but she cares about your grade and is there to help when you have questions or concerns. Every class period she'd come stand by me and ask if I understood the material and to let her know if I needed help. Very caring teacher.

Mrs. Underwood was very willing to help students that needed additional help outside of class. She is very serious about her students doing homework that is assigned in the textbook and on Alek.

Very helpful in class. Explained the problems well and worked many examples to make the information as clear as possible. Gave many chances for extra credit. Replaced worst test grade after final.

As long as you go to class and pay attention during the lectures you should be fine. Test questions come from the problem sets, so make sure to do your homework. She is very nice and is very helpful.

Ms. Underwood is a great professor. The class its self was difficult but it helps if you go to her outside class. And she also has every lesson on her moodle if you miss a day or just want to be ahead. ALWAYS do Wileyplus and your sample test booklet!!

I really loved having Ms. Underwood as teacher! I wish I could have her for every math class. She makes the material easy to understand and is good about answering questions. Just make sure you stay on top of the WileyPlus and the homework or you definitely won't pass.
