GREAT CLASS!

She's awesome but do not get on her bad side, or ever be disrespectfull or she'll eat you alive. It's an easy class and she's incredibly fair.

she is so awsome if you wanna slack. you have to write papers but they are short and sweet. she never has class for longer than 20 minutes. our final was to watch a movie and compare ourselves to an actor. argo rules!

This was an easy A class, but I also learned something too. She made the assigned readings more bearable by dividing them up amongst the class. She is strict on absences though. A good class to take if you have other hard classes you need to focus on.

She gets creative with the work and likes disscussion.

just give your writing to her and go home / class is only 10 min lol / she check your works if u want too and help u to finish it befor u return your writing to her for grading / do final test at home and bring it to her/she is CoOoOoOoOoL

no perfumes aloud in her class. Picks on slackers and the tardy ones. She is an interesting person and has her own style of teaching. The classes may not last long but on certain days you wish they did. very good discussions. she is a little unorganized but its not laziness she is a playwirght.

Very easy. If you're a student who is constantly tardy/absent, DO NOT TAKE HER. Punctuality and attendance are VERY IMPORTANT. She's a bit disorganized, so if you keep a planner, I would write due dates in pencil. I would definitely take a class with her again.

nice lady who is willing to look over all drafts (I highly recommend you allowing her to do so) before papers are due. Only 4 papers for the semester. Not necessary to purchase book. Write final @ home and turn in.

Easy class. Do the reading at get an A. It's that easy. Final Exam is a piece of cake.

Class is easy. Just do the readings, bring in an article, simple quizzes, final a breeze!

perfect teacher for writers. write your papers, she checks them, go home. very helpful, and teaches you to correct your own mistakes.

professor argo is a good teacher her teaching style is different from most professors but i liked it you have 3 tests but 2 are written and the final is an oral presentation which is about 5-10 min long a lot of the work you do is in group or whole class conversations but their pretty interesting so is the material i recommend her

One of the most entertaining and easiest teachers ever. Class discussions are fun and the tests are easy. The tests are written test based on literature and the final is actually a group project. Very easy A.

This professor is AWESOME!!!! SHE JUST ROCKS SHE IS SO EASY THERE IS NO POSSIBLE WAY YOU COULD GET C JUST DO YOUR PAPERS AND YOULL BE FINE!!! THE FINAL IS A BREEZE!!!!!

she is a true professor she is about one of the only true professors at sac she makes class interesting and no monotnous she is also very humble does she talks to you like she is our friend and does not have a "I am the professor attitude"

She is a great teacher. Probably my favorite that I had at SAC. She gets the whole class involved. Just do the work that she assigns and you'll get an "A".

Very easy. Gives 3 essay's (not long at all) finish them, and do the Lab work. AND YOU WILL GET AN "A".

shes extremely easy just a few papers she literally helps you along the way with the paper she tells you exactly what she wants when shes helping you but in the begining shes very vague but when in class and doing individual critiques shes awesome just do the work and you'll get a good grade

She is easy.. Im horrible at writing and I somehow passed her class. She checks your paper to see how you're doing and will advise you on what changes needs to be changed. After she checks it, you are free to go! For the final she gives you ahead of time to type an essay and then write it on paper. Just show up and you will pass.

I totally loved her class! She is awsome! Just make sure, if you are serious in going to school that you stay serious about; most people lose interest in school therefore they don't bother showing up to class on time and that is where you will get into trouble with any of the professors on any campus! Do your work, relax, have fun and you will pass

She is nice, but can be a little confusing.

This was the most easiest class I have ever taken here at SAC. I took Argo during summer II and we were supposed to read many stories but just look up the summaries on the internet and you will be okay. It is mainly all oral for the tests. I recieved an "A" in this class without even trying. TAKE HER but do not piss her off!

Ms. Argo has got to be one of the BEST instuructors in the english department. I had her for 0301, and she was GREAT!!! Show up to class on time (as you should) and do the assigned work. An easy class as long as you show up to class. Be on time even though she isnt. Very helpful. She checks your papers before they are due and advises on corrections. Easy A if you pay attention. Show up and you will pass. I would take again.

Ms. Argo is very helpful to those who are in need. However, if the student can't grasp what she's saying...then they're SOL. Some semblance of brainpower is needed when taking her class.

Kinda fun. Classes were interesting, but make sure you're on track with the reading or with assignments cause she'll try and put you in your place on the spot. "B+"

Class seriously last for about 15 minutes. We had 4 essays and the final we just turned them in then leave. Great professor, will give u one on one time and make suggestions on your paper. We did not use the textbook at all.

She's quirkey, but super nice. She knows a lot, and I enjoyed the class. It's not hard if you do the reading and show up to class on time. She's intimidating at first, but you'll get used to her if you talk during the discussions. She's fun; I'd take her again.

she is a really cool teacher! make sure you listen to her instructions and if you miss a class make sure you check what you missed. over all she is awsome! will definitely take her again for literature!

she the best professor i had and i passed it. if you have any mistakes on a your essay, she will give the paper back to you and have you correct it and turn it and get an A. Take her class!

very helpful. pay attention to her critiques on your papers and you will be fine. class usually lasted about ten minutes. definitely would take another class from her. Easy A.

She took on a new way to teach our class and kinda experimented with us. But I learned a lot. We have a lot of discussions and read a variety of authors. Our final was just to sit in a circle and discuss a book she assigned us. The test and quizes were mainly short essays. If you don't read what she assigns you basically screw yourself.

What an amazing professor! The way she teaches actually makes it fun! I got to read stories and actually enjoy them for once instead of just searching for information. Some reading requires and you have to go to class but it was a really fun class and, once again, she is a great professor. I recommend. A+

The class was totally engaged by Ms. Argo?s teaching method. She is Shaherazhad! We became intrigued by world literature. Do not be absent or late to class, ever, period. You must read your assignments and come to class prepared or you WILL get a zero. This teacher made learning absolutely fun, and what better way to learn? Awesome teacher!

You must go to class everyday... IF YOU MISS... MAKE SURE IT IS ONLY 1 0r 2 ABSENCES for the semester. IF you can't attend everyday... don't take this class with this professor. Since there are no formal tests... Attendance is ABSOLUTELY MANDATORY! But the assignments are super easy and interesting. Textbooks are needed for this class.

Professor can be a little unclear, but class is fun, and she tries to keep you engaged.

Attendance is mandatory, but she makes class so fun and interesting that you want to go every time! She comes off as mean at first, but she's really not! Awesome teacher! One of my favorites! Highly recommend!!

nice teacher go to class and do the reading super easy and the final was cool had food and spoke in a circle presenting what we read with our final question and it was by far the most neatest final i have ever had cool a++++++

American Lit was very nice and easy course we mostly printed out articles, sat in a circle and discussed them. A couple in class essays but not bad at all. Final was super easy, brought food and discussed. Go to class part of the grade. Easy A if you need a literature class.

SHE'S AN OVERALL GREAT TEACHER. VERY CALM AND LAID-BACK. SHE DIDN'T REALLY CARE IF YOU SHOWED UP BC LIKE SHE SAID "YOU'RE WASTING YOUR TIME NOT MINE." SHE'S EXTREMELY HELPFUL WHEN IT COMES TO WRITING THE ESSAYS, AND WE ONLY HAD 3 ESSAYS TO WRITE FOR REMEDIAL ENGLISH. AND ABSENCES? SHE DOESN'T GET TOO MAD OVER, WHICH IS A GOOD THING. LOL!

Professor Argo is the best instructor I have came across. Every one who attends her class will receive an easy A+ . She gave my class 4 writing assignments. Plus we didn't have to take the final exam...

Easy class to get an A as long as you show up. Class consists of reading storys and making summarys of them and presenting them to the class. YOU MUST PAY ATTENTION! Because she will ask questions on what the story was about and if you cant answer she will ask you to leave the class. Also if you text during class she will ask you to leave.

She makes sure to tell you what to read before the written assignment. There is also a lot of class discussion so make sure to appreciate. the final is a presentation - make sure you read something by your author or you will be docked points.

This class was very easy. I found the instructor to be nice, kind and flexible. Just turn in the assignment your sure to get an A+

Text book is not required, this is the 2nd semester I've taken with her and I love her! She ensures the papers written are A's or B's, spending weeks revising and editing. After you check in with her she will tell you what needs to be done and you can leave, not making you stay in class. Very personable and willing to help. Easy A, WITH EFFORT!

She is by far one of the best English professors I have had I must say she has patience she is cool you read in class out loud you don't have to if you don't want to. you don't need a book if you can find it in the internet then you are fine but you have to bring it on the day that she will be reading it that is all.

Professor Argo seems to be all over the place but overall is a great professor. If you miss a class you will be missing ALOT. She will not let you make it up. You are constantly writing papers and doing small quizzes. I enjoyed this class and if needed I would take her again.

Ms. Argo is an amazing teacher. She was a mentor to me and she will never understand the changes she made in my life. She doesn't just teach English, she guides young lives.

Had for ENGL 1301, did about 5 papers and totally bombed one, still walked out of the class with a B. She can be a bit scattered at times, and pretty sure she has ADD. Very clear on what she expects and works with students very well.

In my opinion I loved her class, she is a calm teacher, not strict nor unorganized. She explains specifically on how to write essays. Her questions on quizzes based on stories are easy but sometimes they take you by surprise if you did not read it clear. She is there to help and answers you in emails. I wish I would've taken her 1301 course.

She was very unorganized but lenient, t plenty of reading and writing in this class but lets u choose what u want to read. Didnt feel like i learned anything but it was easy enough. shes accepts late work and is very understanding. ASK HER WHAT EXACTLY IS SHE LOOKING FOR in the material she gives good feedback just ask if not you will be lost.

TAKE HER!! YOU WILL LOVE IT AND NOT REGRET IT! This professor is incredible. She made everyone in class feel comfortable about asking questions and helped everyone become better writers. Don't text when she talks, though. She truly cares for her students and that is so unique and hard to find. Thankful for this amazing educator and soul.

Professor Argo is so spunky and really loves literature! She's very passionate about what she teaches but loses that fun personality when she sees the class is not participating and only showing up for a grade. If you don't understand something, just message her! She's pretty quick to reply and is very understanding of her students & life problems.

I took Prof. Argo's class for English 1301. She's an amazing teacher and made sure we all knew how to write a decent paper before giving us harder essays. I 100% would talk this class again!

Professor Argo is excellent! She has a different style when it comes to teaching English. You most definitely need to have knowledge in writing, but she will work with you. Attendance counts for a grade and depending on how hard she sees the class working she will give total points for an assignment instead of having you write a paper.

The work was easy but she really payed attention to those who needed help understanding. Definitely would take again.

I enjoyed having Professor Argo for ENGL1301 this summer. She is very smart and cares a lot about helping you. She is also there to help you. She teaches well and correctly. I would take her again. I recommend her.

I am taking her online class this semester. This is her first time teaching an online class and she has been very gracious and understanding especially because of the recent pandemic. Sometimes her comments on essays can be a bit unclear, but she has been really good about answering emails and helping students with any questions they may have.

Professor is an excellent teacher, she responds in a timely manner and she never has you guessing what your grade point average is in the class. Grades fairly and gives you feed back when needed. First time taking her online and totally recommend it! Do your assignments and how she wants to them done and you will do just fine.

I previously rated Prof. Argo, but I want to add that it is towards the end of the course and although I had a lot of trouble understanding her instructions, she never failed to continue trying to help me understand and succeed. She even allowed me to redo an essay that I did incorrectly due to not understanding the prompt. She is caring and helps!

Sometimes her wording on assignments was unclear, but email her and she'll clarify it. This class was more about reading & practicing writing papers rather than learning how to write the paper itself. If you have past experience in HS writing analytical papers in MLA format, you will be fine. Make sure to read & follow the instructions thoroughly!!

Professor Argo was great we didn't have any lectures but it was very much do the assignment and you'll pass.

Most of her writing topics are about things going on in the current world, (politics, pandemic, human rights, etc) she's slightly confusing when explaining what format she wants, I did MLA for everything and she never had a problem with it. not a lot of reading, but definitely a lot of writing, be prepared to write your heart out.

I liked the topics that we wrote on. Some were very controversial, and she gave us a lot of freedom to discuss them. The class was easy and moved slowly. You can't get too far ahead due to the assignments being locked. She gives a lot of time to complete tasks, usually two weeks or so. She is easy to reach and very helpful.

Professor Argo is a professor that cares. She worked with me throughout the entire semester and was so caring and understanding. I highly recommend this class with Professor Argo!!!!
