I am still taking her for BI301 and she is a very good professor.She organized and will let you know exactly what is going to be on the test.You do not need to take any notes,she makes you print out these handouts and then goes over them in class.She is so helpful and makes things a whole lot easier

Very nice lady. She goes by the book(department) as far as rules are concerned, since she is new. She knows what she is talking about. Those printouts previously mentioned; I didnt even buy the book and I'm getting Bs and As thanks to those things.

I had someone else for A/P I and that prof. was really bad. I thought A/P II would be harder but thank God I got Prof. Ellerton.. She'll really clear about everything and if u just ask she'll answer all your questions until u understand it. Shes really great~!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

She is awesome and very willing to help whenever she can. She does follow departmental quidelines, but if you do hard work you will get a high grade. Essay questions are pretty simple and she grades them easy.

She is VERY helpful and her lectures were very clear . Exams are reasonable and she gave you plenty of notes and if you follow her notes, you will get good grade, so far this semester has been great. She really is a great professor . She Helps you reviews for your Exams really are not that hard at all. (comparing to other old Grouchy, worst A&P professors in the shcool )

She has incredible amounts of patience. Always makes time for the student & is willing to answer any questions one might have. You could only benefit from taking her class as well as becoming more knowledgeable while enjoying it at the same time.

she super nice BUT she is hard and tricky. i had no problem passin 301 and now im havin trouble wit 302. her exams are tricky and she gives like 200 questions review and dont even use them on the test, go elsewhere

the best professor in qcc. i took her in bio 301 and 302 and on both courses i got an a. i agree, a&p is adifficult course, but she makes it very organazed. and if you follow her you are the winner. take her, i highly recommend. i wish to have the same kind of teachers in nursing program. god bless her. she is qcc' icon.

BI-301 awesome class- awesome teacher- I mean if you can't learn from her you should re-think studying Biology or Med. Arts!!

She is very helpful, explains very clear. Do the review sheet, you will be good. Her test is straight forward, no trickiness.

This is one of Queensborough's best asset whenit comes to Bi 301 and 302. Excellent professor, I highly recommend her.Onec you study you will be fine.

SHE'S EXTREMELY GOOD. HER EXPLANATIONS ARE VERY CLEAR! SHE GIVES HANDOUT WHICH HER EXAMS ARE BASED ON TO SUMMARIZE THE VAST SUBJECT.

A MUST for A&P1 or A&P2 lecture and lab. She is extremely helpful in answering questions and guiding students through the material. Don't be afraid to ask many questions because she wants you to clearly understand & not make the same mistakes. She teaches you everything you need to learn and her exams cover exactly the material in class.

She is the best professor you can have for A&P AND Bio. As said, if you cant learn from her, you cant learn at all. I looooovveee that professor, i wish i had her for all my classes.

The most effective study guide is bringing a camera in class and recording what she is showing and saying on the projector extremely helpful!

Professor Ellerton simply put is an excellent professor. All the students that complain about her are LAZY!!! Her lectures are crystal clear and her exams come directly from her power-points. She even gives review questions prior to exams. If you use the review sheet your guaranteed at least a 90. Take her for A&P (BI 301-302) you won't regret it.

Dr.Ellerton is one of the most amazing professors I've encountered! She is extremely helpful and such a sweetheart! I highly recommend her if it is your first time taking A&P. Do not hesitate to email her questions regarding her lectures. Must study notes and textbook! Good Luck!

Ellerton is an excellent prof.! She gives Power Points slides that are brief and clear. She is extremely helpful. She gives extra credit that really bring up your GPA. She may be though at times but that's because she will want you to do well. I highly recommend

Great professor, however she's pretty boring if you ask me. She has powerpoints and cares though which is a plus. I passed the class but failed the lab. Lecture is a breeze, lab is worst than a slow painful death.

Amazing Professor for lab! Highly recommend her! She teaches all the models by projections and clearly tells us what would most likely be on our tests. This professor is straight to the point and very lenient on grading. Really enjoyed Bio 302 lab with her. Always make videos when she is going over the models, it really helps!

Dr. E is amazing! I had her for both lecture and lab in the fall. Although the course itself is a lot of hard work, she is fair. You have to put in the work and study study study!!! I got an A and it wasn't easy. I studied A LOT! Do that and you will be fine. I highly recommend her:)

Professor Ellerton is an amazing professor. I've noticed A&P is tough for professors too, most fall behind schedule and attending lecture often isn't much better than reading on your own. Prof. Ellerton always stayed on schedule and she actually teaches the material. I've been half asleep in her class and she still keeps my attention.

Hands down for this great professor! She really does take her time to go over very single detail. Of course you need to study bc a&p is a hard course but she will make it easier for you. I would deff take her again.

Professor Sharon Ellerton is one of the most kind, sincere and generous in her attention to students, most helpful, inspiring and easy to go professors that I ever met in my life. I was doing my Honor's Class in Anatomy & Phisiology with her, she was always there to share her experience&give me a wise advice I did exceedingly well, thanks to her.

Honestly hands down the best professor I've ever taken. She is straight forward with all her exams and helpful when you are having difficult with understanding any topics. She allows make up for all her homework assignments which also help you prepare ahead of time for exams. Would love to take her again!

I love her. at first i wasn't interested in biology but she changed that for me. I am more into the medical field now because of her. homework can be a lot sometimes but it will help you

Dr. Ellerton is a wonderful caring professor and is looks for ways to help you understand the concepts. 302 is a hard class expect to read and do assignment in order to succeed (as with any course). Would recommend her she was amazing.

Dr. Ellerton is very respected. She is very sweet and straight forward. She called me in after my first poor exam grade and asked me what went wrong. She responses quickly to emails and my class was partially online so the homework was as expected but not a lot. She answers any question via email. I would take her for BI 201 and BI 301. I love her.

Dr Ellerton is a nice professor, overall she explains well, but her tests are hard. She will take off points for spellings. You will be asked to write down not only the proper names but functions as well on tests which can be long sometimes. BEWARE of the last lab exam it's going be a lot of materials to study. Go to her office hours whenever u can

Dr Ellerton is very thorough; however, it will help you in the long run. She deducts points for spelling and careless errors in lab. If you record her and watch the videos countless times, you're guaranteed a 90 or higher on the lab exam. Don't expect to simply name structures and parts in lab. She will test you on the function and flow as well.

I took for her Winter online session. Homeworks and exams are very reasonable and I learned a lot even though it was an online class. Would take again.

She is the sweetest ever!!! She really cares about you passing and will notify you if you failing and what you can do for extra credit to pass (optional of course if you want to pass). She honestly made me understand biology in the most simplest way that if you ask me something I can respond. But beware she does give alot of material.

She seemed tough on the first day but turned out to be really caring. gave extra credit work to help you boost the grade if you need it. her lectures were detailed but not boring. used powerpoint slides which were posted on blackboard. tests were based on lecture notes. if you study hard as you should, her class is not difficult.

If you rewatch videos of her lab and study the models, you'll get a fair grade. She's the sweetest and might even give you some credit on wrong answers if you really applied yourself.

Many people don't realize A&P2 lab is going to take hard work to pull an A in. Prof. Ellerton makes her lectures very clear and is great at answering any questions. Although some people find her difficult, I basically aced all her exams just by following her directions. Give effort and this class will teach you a lot.

Great professor study the slides, practice the lab, go over the recordings after each lab, and study study. Everything she teaches and that on the slides is on the exam.

I'm personally shocked at the bad reviews, especially about her being condescending or not caring about her students doing well. BIO-302 is a lecture heavy course, but she breaks it down well and makes it easy to understand. Class is interesting and she is very knowledgeable about the subject. Her exams are not difficult, but definitely study.

She explaines things ,any questions very good detailed to student. Her online and in person class where I meet her first time actually was clear, excellent. I learned a lot about human body!!!

Its an A&P 2 class its a lot of material. Professor Ellerton has her online Lectures on youtube - take advantage of it and re-listen to the lecture to study. I am by no means a good test taker and I was steadily getting B or B+ on my exams. She cares - sit in the front, participate, and try - youll do great.

She is definitely the best biology professor at qcc! ! ! If you want to learn something, come to her. She has ppts and many online teaching materials. She is very patient and efficient. This is my third semester taking her class.

She is amazing! I had her as my Lab professor, she explain well in her lab, she will teach you as detail as she can, her lab exams also have some lecture things which makes you knows more than just anatomy.
