She doesn't know anything! She just laughs all the time! If you ask her a question, don't expect her to understand what you are asking. In the odd case where she does, she won't know the answer and will just laugh. I think she laughs every time she doesn't know something which would explain why she's always laughing. Sharon's class was okay. The material was interesting but, there was a lot of it and was difficult to tell what we would be tested on and what was fun facts or background information. Some lab instructions were not very clear, which would be okay but, our labs were not marked until we had handed in most of them.

I have loved Sharon since my first semester, she is an amazing professor that truly wants you to do well. Her questions and notes are very straightforward and she is fast at answering emails. If I could have I would have taken her for every Bio course. If you have a choice, always choose Sharon!

Sharon is the best! She is flexible with hand in dates and is straight forward on what she wants you to know. As long as you study her objectives well, you will do well on tests.

I pretty much watched her lectures from home after a while and did great in her class. Her midterms and exams are all based off of her own slides and she is a very good marker. I would definitely take her class again. Sharon is an amazing professor and cares about her students doing well.

Knowledgeable in Bio308. Grew plants in the lab throughout the entire semester & only did 2 real labs. Her m/c are tricky so practice her m/c online many times as those questions will show up on the real tests. Her written is very easy and usually from the lecture objectives. Slides are disorganized & I didn't attend lectures as she reads off them

Sharon is a very approachable instructor, in lecture or lab as well as during office hours. She is very understanding for circumstances affecting students. Her tendency to read from the lecture in lower level courses can be distracting. It's good to bring questions to lecture as she will take the time to answer, and she will answer them well.

At the end of the day, Sharon is an easy grader and as long as you try, you will pass just fine. However, I never knew if I was meeting her expectations or not. She kinda "wings" a lot of her teaching. She's very friendly and funny, classes were interesting.

LOVES to punish students who don't show up to her lectures by refusing to post/share the learning objectives from each class, even if you are sick. Basically just reads the slides made by pearson's AI pulling all diagrams and info from the pearson textbook though.

The professor has a specific teaching style, but engaging with it can be worthwhile. Lectures are informative, though long. To succeed, stay focused, utilize the textbook, and consider using study aids like unstuck ai alongside other resources. The assessments can be challenging but manageable with diligent preparation.

I took this class because of the good reviews. I don't understand WHY there are so many good reviews. Yes she is sweet and nice. Lectures are WAY too long, and she copy and pastes them from the textbook or gets them from elsewhere. You spend all class trying to copy everything down but can't because there's WAY too much information. Don't do it.

Sharon is a very, very nice professor. She is very lenient with her evaluations, a good grader, sweet, and super helpful. i would 100% recommend her for the course since it is quite a hard course, especially with lots of memorization and practice.

Such a sweet prof! Assignments and quizzes were directly from the readings and were given ample time for completion. Exams were fair and easily manageable if you did any of the reading. Would definitely take her class again!
