She is a wonderful teacher! I'm so glad I took her class. She was very helpful, and does everything she can to help you learn the material. I took her class that used MyMathLab and that was very helpful. Also, we could take the test up to 3 times and she would take the highest grade. She teaches college algebra, and I will definitely take her class

Oh my god... Lots of work! I worked my butt off in this class. Just saw my grade...It payed off. Ms. Johnson requires a lot of you. This is college not high school. Great teach...just be prepared to work in this class.

Great teacher!! I was very scared of Calculus and sure I would barely pass, but I made an A!! She made Calculus easy to understand, it was the Algebra I forgot that made it difficult. We had a chance to earn extra credit on EVERY test. Do the reviews she gives and you will be prepared for the tests. GO TO CLASS, or you can get lost.

Ms. Johnson is a great teacher! I had her for DMAT 97 and now MATH 1314. Always ask questions if you do not understand something, she will make everything very clear. Always participate so she knows you understand the chapter. I also recommend taking mymathlab with her. Her tutors are also very helpful as well.

I took this class online for winter semester. A lot of work, but easy. Make sure to read everything. 5 test and you can take each test twice. The highest grade is kept. The final had to be taken at a testing center. It was not on the computer. The final exam was good. Not too easy or too hard. She gave a formula sheet.

Breaks down problems well and does good explanation for calculus problems. Big fan of partner work. Used the book everyday. Tries to help often and is readily available for tutoring. Professor is pretty funny and chill. But make sure you know your precal, algebra, and trig rules.

Ms. Johnson is a great teacher! She made both Cal I and Cal II easy to understand (unlike my university Cal II teacher). Her grading is tough because she wants to make sure you understand what you're doing aka SHOW YOUR WORK! Loves students to work together. She will be available to help on things when you need it. She is chill and a cool teacher.

No one should attend this course and expect it to be easy. This is why I attended it on campus. I am very glad I did so. She is not always completely clear, but she expects to be asked when there is confusion. She loves class participation. She also gives plenty of opportunities to do well on tests. There is no excuse to make less than a B.

I'm not sure what these other students are talking about but Professor Johnson is extremely sweet and helpful! She genuinely cares about her online students! Each assignment is no more than 12 questions and when I got confused on something she asked me to call her. She has always offered to help in any way she can she's awesome!!

Took full-length in spring online. There were 4 modules with 6-7 homework assignments in each. Mid-term and final are worth 50%. When I had surgery and had to miss an assignment, she let me make it up and saved my grade. She's an average joe math teacher. You either struggle with math or find it easy. Watch videos, no book necessary just mymathlab.

Ms. Johnson is a pretty good professor. Powerpoint lectures everyday, online homework through MyMathLab. She usually gives extra credit for doing the online reviews. Make sure to show your work on the tests! Tests are based off of the online review and in-class problems. I made an A+ in this class.

Prof. Johnson's class is SO easy to follow. She has all of her video lectures online, and she does an amazing job at explaining how to work out the problems. Let me put it this way, I took this class in the summer and started out a week behind. I was still able pass this class with no problem. Just watch her videos and you cant fail! A+ in my book!

First, she posts very instructional videos to accompany the assignments. Boring, but informative. Chapter exams are online, midterm and final are at the college. If you make the effort, you will get a good grade. The one time I messaged her about a problem, she explained what I did wrong (put x instead of z, and even fixed my grade.

If it was not for Professor Johnson, I would not have passed this class. She is very engaged with her students. Answers emails immediately. I believe she honestly cares about whether you pass or not. If you are trying she will do everything she can to help you pass. Don't get me wrong this is a hard class. The hardest class I have ever taken.

Professor breaks down each section and chapter, runs through the reasoning behind the concepts, and then does some examples. Tests seem to be a challenging version of what comes up in lecture and homework. Makes you work for your grade. If you attend class, review the powerpoint lectures, and complete all your homework, you should do well.

Great teacher, is willing to help you as much as she can as long as you put in effort. Lots of homework. You should attend every class if you want to pass. It's a hard class but all Calculus 2 classes are hard.

She was great and answers emails all hours even at night. If she can't deal with it via email she will call and help you. She gives you a clear outline of what needs to be done and what is expected of you. The class was tough for me because I haven't been in class for 11 years but very easy to learn. She will help you any way she can!

It was a difficult class but she made it easy to understand. She was also willing to help outside of class and easy to get a hold of for any questions.

Prof. Johnson is a great choice for Calculus. Of course, Calculus is hard all by itself but she makes it easy because of her great response time! I had a hard time logging into my midterm exam and she called me at 11pm, shortly after I emailed her, to walk me through another option for taking the test. I would highly recommend her class. Study!

Took this class online for the Maymester. Same amount of work, in fewer days. Nothing is cut out, so be prepared to spend all day everyday on this if you take the maymester. Midterm/Final exam are proctored, no formulas allowed. This class was hard, but she really cares about you, and responds to emails very quickly, even calls you if needed!

Took her class for Calc 2 and it was what I expected. She's very reasonable, and gives extra credit on tests if you get 90+ on the reviews. By far, it is probably the second or third tests that are the most difficult. She is very strict at times, but it's doable. Make sure to do your work and pay attention to the lectures.

I hate math but loved this course. did aflex term so u basically had to do homework everyday. Ms. Johnson has a specific sense of humor that a lot of students don't get. Personally, I thought she was hilarious. Her lectures were to the point, she wouldn't move on until everyone understood, and she explained every concept thoroughly. She tells you explicitly what she expects and is a wonderful teacher. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

She gives lectures which really help and will call you and explain questions you don't understand. Midterm and final are proctored but you get 2 attempts on the other 4 unit tests. Homework almost every Monday, Wednesday, Friday. I almost ended with a really high B but she helps good students out and found really simple stupid mistakes on last test

I really like this teacher. She is very direct and doesn't waste class time on irrelevant topics. The courses are very compact, but believe me, her courses are very valuable, you can really learn a lot of knowledge. The exam is very simple, but there will be a study plan before the exam, you need to do all the questions to get points, that is hard

Professor Johnson was easily the best Teacher I've had and one of the most memorable. Her lectures are straight forward and easy to follow, and if you have a trouble understanding a certain topic she will explain in a different way until you get it. The course does have quite a bit of homework but it genuinely prepares you for the exams and Calc 3.

Know your stuff because she will call on you. Slightly condescending when pushed but is really nice mostly. Test reviews are like the test. Lectures are straight-forward and gives many examples to work through. Will help you when needed!

Her teaching style is easy to follow along. She will call you to make sure you are paying attention. Tests were almost exactly like the review, weekly homework on Mathlab. Nothing too difficult.

She is very good at interacting with students. She is very friendly and always ready to help. She is one of my favorite professor. I had a very good semester with her.

One of the best professors ever would take her every semester if possible. She is always willing to help, very enthusiastic, home works are not too much considering it is high-level math, and everything is clear. Extra credits depend on how much you are willing to put in because she offers a lot. I 100% RECOMMEND HER.

I had the best season taking CAL 2 for fall 8wk. She explains the topic clearly and makes complicated topics easy. If you want to learn while enjoying math, take her class. She also cares for her students.

If you're going to take someone's opinion from here, take mine please. I'm always bragging about how much Ms. Johnson is the greatest math instructor. I took her for Calculus I and II in FALL23 , and let me tell you she is an expert in the subject who will make you comprehend. You will learn a lot from her, so you won't regret taking her along.

I took her for CALC 1 and I loved her. Then I took CALC 2 because I understood math with her. She is the best professor I've ever had. She has a compromise with her students. She called me when I asked for help to solve some exercises on math lab. She explains clearly. 8 weeks both calc People who put bad reviews of her are weak students, sorry :)

Good teacher, willing to help the only thing i disliked was that the final was worth 30% of ur final grade while i know other math classes only did 20% of your grade. Also, attendance is mandatory, and a part of your grade you can only miss up to 1 class in a 8-week course.
