If you like reading Neo-Liberal literature, take the class; she seems to have plenty to give. She'll always respond to your discussion comments as "interesting." There are films, discussions, lectures and lots of reading, but overall a thought provoking class. If you're lazy, don't take this class. She's a funny lady and very nice.

Unfair grading system. attendance and participation is worth as much as the final exam! She has an unreliable way of taking attendance and it really isn't possible for her to write down every time a student participates yet she counts attendance and participation as much as the final exam. it could bring your grade down a whole grade.

The course consists of weekly reading and either a quiz or discussion post. Discussion posts are easy points! Tests are not super difficult, but you should do the reading. Doesn't really interact with students, but the course is straightforward and easy.

This was an easy class. Only discussions and exams. No big projects or papers. The workload is light and I felt like I learned a lot. Make sure you get a copy of the textbook. You need it for the discussions and helps a lot for the tests. I never felt like I was worried for my grade in this class or the work

this class was extremely easy and a GPA booster. there are 5 discussion posts, 6 exams that only cover one chapter. class is asynchronous so everything is on you to do. exams are extremely easy. discussion posts are long but not too bad. class was extremely manageable and didn't have to worry about it. i recommend if you want to boost your GPA!

I took this course during the summer, so it was all online. Class was very manageable and very straightforward. There were 1 intro post and 4 discussion posts. All required 2 replies to peers and 4 timed exams, but were open book. I was able find the pdf version online for free for the book used for this course, so it saved me some money there.

pretty easy class, she's very understanding of outside issues and gave me extensions when needed. only a few things you're graded on, be careful because one slip up and your grade will get lowered (like mine). late work not accepted so stay on top of that. get pdf version of textbook to save money!

Professor Kim is by far one of the worst professors I have had at Cal State Fullerton. She never responds to emails and she takes forever to grade assignments. If you get two points deducted from a discussion board your grade will heavily decrease. DO NOT TAKE HER. Take another elective.

Avoid this professor—two essays based on dull documentaries, vague essay prompts, and strict grading. You'll likely need to pay for a textbook just for four discussion boards. She's nitpicky on grammar, slow to respond to emails, and offers little support. Take this class with someone else if possible.

Good teacher who cares about the topic. ASA style writing. Pay attention to the rubrics. If u get a low grade on an assignment, ask how to improve for the next one. 3 DB, 4 exams, 2 mini papers. If you read the book you'll do just fine on the quick, open-book exams. If you do more than minimal effort, you will get a good grade in this class.

This was an easy class with either an exam or discussion post every week. Take her for an easy A, just keep up with the assignments and make sure to get the textbook so you can cite it.

She doesn't give too many assignments but is a tough grader. Wouldn't take again. She always asked for a deeper analysis on my work that completed the prompt. Easy class just tough to analyze deeper simple things like she wanted/complete word count.
