Professor Olsen is too easy, A little too much lecturing, but to be fair she makes sure everyone understands everything. If you fail this class your an idiot. Sweet, friendly, and very understanding. Willing to work with your issues. Great teacher!

Professor Olsen made it very easy to learn about a subject that a lot of us find boring. She was very helpful in supplying studing tools and made her expectations very clear for the class. She also goes the extra step to help once she knows you're working hard.

Nice and understanding, Explains everything in detail. lectures cover test material. I didnt have to open my textbook not even once. Her papers are really easy she doesnt grade grammer or mispellings. I got a B with no effort at all. I jut showed up to class a typed a few papers. So awesome and so nice.

Get the work done & communicate. Can tell she loves her job. Very knowledgeable & fair. Get out of it what you put into it. Really have to TRY to get a bad grade :)

She is Awesome!! She makes this class very fun and interesting. I am actually signed up for her class in fall session. i would take her for any classes she has available. Very friendly and always willing to take time out and help. Only 3 tests through the whole class no final exam. As long as you do the work no problem getting an A. +extra credit

Great professor. The only problem I really had was the test were harder than she said they would be. I studied like she said and still had a hard time with the tests.

She is really nice, extremely knowlegable about what she is teaching. She is also very clear on what is going to be on the tests just make sure you study for them. Lots of class discussion not at all boring and she does not sit there and read from the book.

A really fun teacher. Gets straight to the point. She is super super nice. Has a great sense of humor. You'd have to try really hard NOT to pass this class, she makes it so simple. I recommend her all the way!!!

Sharon Olsen is a great professor. She is caring and is very thorough on what will be on her tests. The final research paper was the hardest thing in her class, but if you choose a topic you enjoy, you will do well. I chose to do the primate paper and went to Lowry Park Zoo. I had a great time and got an A. Lots of extra credit, show up to class!

I'm taking her online. She's a great communicator, always gives feedback on your work. Easy A as long as you do all work on the lesson plan. She has great visual reviews that help you grasp all info in chapter easily along with the textbook. I really am enjoying her class.

Professor Sharon Olsen is one of the best Instructor I've ever known. She is very knowledgeable and thorough about what she teaches and is really into her students passing. Very kind, understanding and classy individual and also very, very pretty and fashionable. Easy class,study power point handouts for test,do research Paper,No final exam. :-)

I liked her a lot. She's very leinient about mostly everything. I think I might've only attended class 4 times and got a B. 4 tests (drops the lowest test score), a research paper, and an extra credit quiz for every chapter. Can't get any easier than that! (:

I love Prof. Olsen! She actually cares about her students and makes sure they understand the material. She provides many different ways to study and her practice quiz ques. are usually on the test so it's like a sneak peak at the test. The book is online also so that helps with the cost. Take her if you want an A!! :)

Wow! she was the nicest teacher, she was so helpful, she was the best teacher I have ever had in my life. I worked hard for my A, but I wasn't her it was me. Her material was clear and she taught it well. Attend study groups and leading study groups will earn you extra points, which helped. Very interesting class and I learned alot.

i didnt have her for psy. but i did have her for college experience and passed her class with flying colors and i didnt even need to take the final test and i passed her class with 110%

Class was engaging, easy to follow, communication with Ms. Olsen was fluid, course materials were enjoyable and easy to follow, yet challenging. I learned quite a bit and really enjoyed taking this class and look forward to taking more of Ms. Olsen's classes

This class is very easy, and Professor Olsen tries to make this class interesting. She lets the class chime in on discussions and, as long as you review the quizzes and study guide, you should have no problem getting an A on her tests.

Awesome awesome awesome, she is the BEST, you will not reget. She take longer to grade writing essays and disussions but you will where you are at yourself base on the quizes, 3 extra credit.

Professor Olsen is SO SO nice. This is an absolute EASY A. She does take awhile to grade things when you take her online (like I did), but she also has a lot of classes to get through. Definitely recommend! :)

SUCH a nice teacher! Incredibly understanding! Tests are easy they come straight from the online quizzes and notes. Everything is on Angel & she even has practice exercises. She is so sweet and her lessons are so interesting. Loved this class.

one open-book quiz per chapter; quizzes are due night before test; lowest quiz grade and lowest test grade are dropped; if you follow her directions for the APA research paper, then it's an easy A. no midterm or final exam. very understanding, very clear, great personality, sticks to the book. HIGHLY recommended.

Fantastic teacher. took her in class and she was great. has lots of class discussions and makes everything easy to understand. 1 quiz a week for homework(10 questions) 3 tests, which are at home, and 1 paper(2000 words) Would def recommended her.

Awesome teacher! Very easy, very helpful, not much work, lots of class discussion and reading. Couple (4) 50 question test, 10 question quiz on each chapter and a major paper and thats it. No final or Midterm. Very interesting topic. She also gives EC chances and study group op's.

Mrs. Olsen is awesome! Interesting and interactive class. My only advice is to keep up with the schedule for quiz online, it is easy to miss a few! Research paper is the hardest part

This teacher is really awesome. you have to keep up with the quizzes and tests because its very easy to skip one and it hurts your grade. I missed a test and she helped me get back to a C. I recommend taking her, she is honestly a great teacher!

I took this class online Prof Olsen is very slow to grade your work but she's fair when she does grade you work. Weekly posts and quizzes. Midterm and final is 100 questions with 3 hour time limit. All quizzes, midterm and final were open book.

Took during summer term, so quizzes were twice a week. Proctored midterm and final were challenging, but she gives study guides for every chapter. Discussion forums were interesting.

Fun class. Prof Olsen is awesome. You can tell she cares and wants you to learn. I loved going to class every week.

Professor Olsen is a great teacher. 4 tests can be challenging, but she drops the lowest test score. Quizzes are online, and a paper. She offers a ton of extra credit. Not an easy A, but I learned a lot and liked the class a lot more than I thoght I would.

Prof. Olsen's Developmental Psych is one of the most enjoyable classes I've ever taken. Exams are HARD but the quizzes are okay. Weekly discussions are always interesting. She's always available to answer questions and she genuinely cares about her students. Even if you don't need it, I recommend this class.

Was a bit skeptical of this class but ended up loving it! she was very clear cut about everything she expected and even let us look over the tests with notes before we took them so everyone should pass! lots of extra credit opportunities available, not much work either except the research paper that's a bit tough but do-able! Must take teacher!!

She is one of the best professors I've ever had. Her lectures are pretty long, but she breaks everything down so anyone can understand. She is very nice, understanding. 4 tests total, with plenty of time in between. 1 quiz every chapter. Take her.

No midterm. No final. Few tests. A lot of leeway for attendance and late assignments. Awesome lectures. Very interesting. Very helpful.

The class is simple. As long as you do your work, you will pass. There are weekly 10 question quizzes and you are given 2 attempts. There is a discussion forum every couple of weeks and 1 large paper at the end. I have never taken a PSY class nor did I open my textbook 1 time this year and I received a 93%.

I loved her, she is very understanding and a good grader. No homework but 12 tests and 4 exams. then a 2000 word research paper at the end, super easy.

Professor Olsen was an absolute delight, she made all the lectures very interesting, and overall was a very easy class to take. There should be no reason that you wouldn't pass her. I would take her class again.

Mrs. Olsen is one of the best professor to take for someone that is a psychology major and she will work with you to make sure you get the highest grade possible. Be sure that you don't miss a class and that you pay attention to the slide show. Most of the course is through slide show.

Favorite professor yet! She gives extra credit and there are quizzes for each chapter and 4 tests and she drops the lowest grade. The tests aren't hard as long as you study. There is also a research paper but she gives you plenty of time to write it and a lot of information. I loved this class.

GREAT professor! She was awesome! 10 questions10 mins & 2 attempts (highest score recorded). Final and midterm exam, but she let me use notes for all quizzes & exams (they're timed). And one big paper (but she gives you half the semester to write it). I really learned a lot and actually enjoyed the class! I would HIGHLY recommend her! :)

I really enjoyed both the course material and the instructor. The class was hard at some points, but overall it was an easy A, if you actually tried. She was very helpful and was always there for you if you didn't understand something or needed clarification. Would definitely take again!

You can't get anything but an A in this class if you do the work on time. Discussion posts are fun topics and you will learn alot if you read your chapters as assigned. Easy online class. Trust me!

Words cannot describe how amazing this professor is. To this day she still says hello to all of her students in the halls. She is loved by everyone because shes super understanding, easy and a go with the flow type of lady. I highly recommend her.

Professor Olsen is the PERFECT choice for taking Psychology, she is just AWESOME! Offers A LOT of extra credit. There is one 2,000 word research paper, which is not difficult at all! 3 exams, 10 quizzes. I took this class in the summer, and wasn't overloaded at all. She makes sure every student succeeds in her class. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! :)

This was a simple class. There were quite a few easy extra credit opportunities and short quizzes every week. There are discussion posts, but they are not anything to stress over; they don't usually have a required word count.

Professor Olsen is the best instructor for taking Psychology! Very caring, and makes sure you will succeed in her class. I took this course in the summer, and the workload wasn't overloaded at all! 10 quizzes, 3 exams, and one big research paper. i took this class online. Finsihed my assignments and got a B+ extremely understanding and works with you on deadlines. 10q quiz and discussion post per week the only complaint i had were the midterm and final 100 questions !! Gives good feedback and won't let you fail.

Class isn't easy or hard as long as you pay attention. Not a lot of busy work. Few assignments. One big paper. Lots of extra credit options. Very clear and well educated.

She is a wonderful role model, she knows her material and she shows that she cares about us as well. Highly recommended!

Love, love, love professor olsen! took her online. she gives good feedback and really cares about your success. she gave me a chance to turn in late work after I got behind due to life issues. the text book is free (e-book given to students in my courses). ask for help and she'll give it to you. she really seems to care about students.

This is one of the best teachers I have ever had. Her lectures are amazing and she really tries to engage everyone! If given the opportunity to take her for another class I definitely will!

I loved professor Olsen so much, shes really funny and sometimes all we do in her classes is just talk about random stuff theres one big paper, but the midterm and final is just online and super easy also the textbook is free and available in the course shes been one of my favorite professors ever so highly recommend

Took General Psych with Ms. Olsen in the spring & she truly was great. Class lectures were always interesting, she offers extra credit opportunities, all quizzes & exams are online, textbook is free, & 1 major paper is due at the end of the semester, but as long as you put in effort & reach all of the requirements, she is very lenient with grading

Professor Olsen was amazing and I really enjoyed her class. She was always willing to help and her lectures were kept entertaining and interactive. The class had a lot of memorization, but I didn't find it difficult as her lectures were very good.

She provides the textbook for you ! its all online she makes class so much more enjoyable I would honestly take her class again, You take 3 test throughout the semester (not hard just study and pay attention) and 1 big essay at the end of the semester but she tells you about it at the beginning of the semester, also a quiz each week easy as well

Professor Olsen was an amazing professor!! Despite everything going on in the world, she has made it so much easier for all of us to adjust to this online format. 3 tests, and a quiz every week and thats it. Final essay but she dropped it so that we weren't all stressed over it with everything going on. I plan on taking her again this summer!

I took her course through Zoom and she made the topics seem so simple. She makes sure that every student has all the resources they need. The textbook is a a free e-book embedded in the course! Would take again!

Amazing Professor, definitely made the SPC Live Online more bearable. Gradebook is clear: Chapter quiz every other week (Book is mandatory - I used the eBook), 1 presentation with an abstract. Midterm and Final. Extra credit available if need be. Overall easy A, just read the chapters and get good grades on the quizzes. Tell her Yovani Sent Ya.

Professor Olsen is the most caring instructor I've had thus far at SPC. She makes lectures interesting. (Honors class) The coursework was easy, a few easy quizzes and a test each module, along with a writing assignment which was thought-provoking, nothing to stress about. Class discussion in lieu of final. She accommodated late work when needed.

Professor Olsen is such a wonderful Professor. She gets the class involved and has really enlightened me into the world of Phycology. She is thought provoking and absolutely care and is passionate in what she does. She will bend over backwards to help her students. I would absolutely take more classes from her! I can't say enough good about her!

Good prof, If you do the 16 weeks course it is a module a week with a few quizzes and one writing assignment. No midterm an no final very easy class.

She was genuinely my favorite professor this semester. She was very understanding when i came to turning in an assignments late because life had gotten busy. There were also a few assignment where we dissused it in class so we didnt have to do the assignment at home. (Which is why i put attendance as mandatory).

A very understanding professor and always made sure we learned well. There is one group project near the end of the term, she makes things clear and is not a strict grader. You can get by without a textbook thanks to her Chapter PowerPoints and can find a PDF version of the textbook on Reddit :)

I took General Psych to get elective credits, but I'd take this class again just out of interest! Professor Olsen is very kind and forgiving about late work, though she does take a little while to grade written assignments. This class and ALL it's assignments are laid out very clear, easy A as long as you stay on top of your weekly work!

Took her classes during the duration of my time at St. Petersburg College. Wanted to say her classes are very interesting, engaging, and is all around a great professor. If someone is interested in getting into psychology, I would recommend taking her classes.
