Professor Quarcini is fantastic, prior to her class I had no interest whatsoever in arts, I just needed the class to graduate, now I appreciate arts, and it's thanks to her; very easy class and nice teacher; take some notes; she tells you everyting that is going to be in her tests; only 2 tests in the entire semester!

She's very clear in what will be on the Test. two for the whole semester. artwork Slides and one essay. avoid missing class too much. Very interesting professor. Take Western Civilizations with this it is generally the same material. two birds with one stone...

Professor Quarcini is one of the nicest teachers ever. Before her class I did not like arts at all, after her class I see artists & art with a lot of respect. Her class is very easy, & she tells you what is on the tests, & there is only two short tests in the class. Take her, she is fantastic.

Ms. Quarcini is a great teacher. I have learned a lot in this class, and now have a greater appreciation for art. Take notes during slide presentation, and you will do fine on exams. Only a mid-term and final, and a presentation. Take her!!!

Quarcini is extremely straight forward... She lectures the whole period and tells you EXACTLY WORD FOR WORD what are on the tests. Theres a midterm, project and final. Thats it. NO homework. She's sooo friendly and always comes in smiling. Take her. I had no interest in Art but took it for an elective and let me tell you I'd do it again. Easy A!

Very straight forward teacher. Tells you exactly what is on the midterm and final. It's up to you if you want to learn the information. Keeps class interesting. Good teacher and tells you everything you need to succeed and get an A. Take her. Stay away from Ziemann for ART110 and take Quarcini instead. She won't steer you wrong!

i can trully say that she is the NICEST teacher ever!! always smiling and very helpful. knows exactly what she want and the class is SUPER easy but very interesting. its FUN. TAKE IT!!

Very nice! Your grade depends on attendence, midterm, final and an easy powerpoint presentation at the end. She is extremely straightforward and tells you extactly what is on the midterm and final. She knows exactly how to teach a college class, easy A!

The class is very easy and very boring at the same time. Sometimes she seems like she is trying to force certain discussions and she is very bad at it. She does however make it very easy for her students to do well.

She is a really nice lady. She is laid-back and easygoing which makes it a comfortable atmosphere. I'm not a big fan of civilizations, but she made the class interesting. Grade is solely based upon midterm,final,attendance, and one project. I highly recommend her.

Great teacher, had her for a few humanity classes. Can be a dry teaching method sometimes, but its purely lecture class. She prepares you for the the 2 test before hand always. impossible to fail! 3 assignments( Midterm, project, Final). Watch a lot of movies, take her. An easy A at the same time you acually learn something without a book.

She's really good at speaking extemporaneously... her lectures are easy to listen to, for me anyway. Her grading is easy to understand and she's super nice and laid back.

She talks the whole time and does not use power point. She is a very boring teacher. The tests are two essay questions and then art slides. The tests are not hard at all.

i took her for hum101 also. she is VERY easy. make sure you take notes and pay attention. never went into the book at all for either class. everything you learn about in this class is interesting. especially if you like art and or art history. she doesn't pick favorites or put anyone down. seriously one of the best teacers i've ever had.

she was a very nice teacher, EASYYY . this is the kind of class where u dont need to study just be there take not notes and thats it. her final and mid are essay questions THE BEST PART she gives u the exact essay questions before hand but u have to choose a topic from the list. i would recommond her for every one!!!

She is awesome! I would highly recommend her. Everything that is on the midterm and final is explicitly told to you, so you know exactly what to expect, and does not require much studying. Super nice lady, and helpful! Take her!!

shes sooo cool. shes got a really funny laugh too. her class is soo easy. you sit there and take notes. altho it sounds boring it pays off bc there are no tests,quizzes, or homework. the midterm and final are two easy essay questions which she tells you a week ahead of time and some pictures that you have to identify which she gives to you.take her

AMAZING teacher. I took her class and it was the class i looked forward to going 2 everyday even if i was tired. you can tell she loves her job. her lectures are interesting and so r the movies she shows. i am going to make my schedule work so i can take classes with her nxt semester. on a scale of 1 to 10 she is an 11!!!!!!!:)

Super nice teacher! VERY INTELLIGENT AND PASSIONATE about what she teaches. Her tests were very easy.. she gives you the essay questions and slides. She was also very good about always remaining non-bias and sticking to the facts and nothing more! Awesome teacher.. take her!

SHES SO NICE!! & agree with the person under me she gives you all the slides & essay ?'s. I would def take her again what a nice lady honestly. If you're going to miss or be late let her know she likes when you talk 2 her so she dosnt think youre rude

Mrs. Quarcini is a great professor. She appreciates when you read the chapter, but it's not mandatory. There are barely any exams in the class, which I loved. She is really easy going on attendance if you talk to her prior to the absence. Homework is very rare in her classroom. She shows a few videos relating to the chapter as well.

She was a good teacher, kept the class interested and was very kind. Highly recommend her, mellow class. She can rush things at times, but do well on the midterm and final and you'll have an A :)

I absolutely love her! I'm taking her for African and Middle Eastern humanities right now. She knows how to engage the class and make all the information very interesting. She is very passionate about what she teaches! I plan on taking other humanities courses with her next semester! Totally recommend her!!

If you have any interest in humanities, don't take her. She makes you hate it with how boring she is. She sits there and lectures straight from notes, I can do a better presentation. DONT BUY THE STUPID BOOKS! she makes you buy the book to use ONE TIME or to "skim through the pictures." No thanks. IM GLAD IM DONE WITH HER!

Easy class. Just pay attention, and take notes and you should be set for the exams. Only 2 exams: Midterm and Final, and they are open note and pure memorization. Her class can get a bit tedious and repetitive.

A really nice teacher who makes it very clear she wants to see her students succeed. The quizzes were a bit difficult b/c of the amount of memorization, but if you have a good system, you'll do well. She lets you know exactly what you need to study. Definitely recommended.

Mrs. Q is a very sweet lady with a lot of passion but she doesn't do PowerPoints so all the notes are given vocally. In the end, you don't really need them at all. The tests are super easy and there's a lot of open discussion in this class which I loved. The material is dry sometimes and you don't know your grade until the end. One group project.

Ms. Quarcini was an extremely nice person and it's hard not to pass the class. The class consists of a lecture for 50 minutes and just taking notes. She only gives a midterm, a final, and a group project and they honestly aren't very hard. She's very interactive with her students and enjoys class discussions.

The only thing that isn't that great is her attendance policy, but other at that she's absolutely amazing. Really nice and understanding and it's such an easy A

Attend class and take notes and you'll pass with an easy A. Doesn't use canvas to update grades but theres very few things you'll get graded on :one VERY easy midterm, one group powerpoint, and simple final. Super easy class and great professor. Take her !

Her class was very easy. You need to show up everyday to take notes. Midterm and final you get to use your notes, that's why it is important for you to take them. One group project that is very easy. Lectures take whole period and are usually boring. Overall, it is very easy to receive an A in her class. I would take her again. Highly recommend!

The entire semester consists of 2 super easy homework assignments, 1 easy group presentation, and lots of note taking. All you have to do to pass is take notes. She says you have to read the chapters but I never bought the book and passed with a B

One of the best art teachers I had in college. Yes she is fair on grading, tests are easy if you study, and she is very helpful. Got a B in her class and she makes her lectures interesting.

I love Ms. Quarcini! She is very nice and caring. If you show up to class and pay attention (yes this means not being on your phone and not talking while she's talking) you will pass her class. She has you take a lot of notes, but you will actually learn something in her class. Highly recommend!

I took this class in summer 2018. Her class was fun but a lot of information to write in your notes but they are very handy! She is very descriptive about her notes and knows what she is talking about. Med term and final was easy. Shes a great teacher!

Super Easy To get a A as long as you take note whatever she said . Use the note on exam. Clear on note. No homework. Nice teacher! I definitely take her class again!

The class was ok and easy. She requires you to take essay style notes which can be too much. She doesn't show any powerpoints and doesn't use canvas to post grades or material so you don't really know what your grade is till the end of the semester. For tests there is a midterm, final and powerpoint group presentation which is easy.

I took her like 2 years ago and I still wish I could take her again. She is an easy teacher just show up and participate you cant fail. Shes a nice person too just stay off your phone and dont fall asleep. The class itself was not the most boring thing even though you are studying old statues. Just put in a little effort and Will get an A.

I really enjoyed this class! I definitely learned a lot and liked her lectures. The book is totally needed because she often asks what we've read and if you don't read she'll give out an unpleasant assignment. Just make sure to skim a bit. Midterm and final were memorizing slides and using our notes so it was nice!

I love Prof Q so much! Though it is intimidating being graded on very few things, her interesting lectures made it worth it. Her notes are definitely very lengthy but shes a passionate teacher. You MUST show up to class in order not to miss out on the notes. Yes, you can copy off of someone but its not the same. Take her!!

Youre only graded on the midterm, final and a project but they are super easy. As long as you show up, listen and take notes youre golden.

I have had her for multiple classes, not just this one that includes Women in Hum., and Art Survey. So this is my very honest opinion of her she is passionate about teaching and has a very kind and caring attitude towards her students. She also is very easy with her slide tests and short essays. She also has interesting discussions with her classes

Professor Quarcini is absolutely awesome. I had her online for Asian and Oceanic studies. Group discussions were always on meaningful topics, definitely a class that is worth the while. The midterm and final was a paper, only one project which was a research paper.

If you need a Humanities take this professor. 2 easy assignments every week, a midterm, a final, and a project are the only grades. Everything was so easy but interesting to learn about. 10/10 recommend her for any class.

I took her for ART 206 (it's only letting me put Art 205). Easy work, a discussion and assignment once a week. You need the textbook though, so just rent it. Easy A, take her!

I took her for HUM 140 and she was a very nice prof! For our midterm I was feeling sick that week and didn't get to complete the assignment correctly. She reached out to me and ask why, I told her I wasn't feeling well and she completely understood. She let me redo the assignment to regain some points which boosted my grade by a lot!

Basically taking notes the whole class, you'll take a midterm, do a presentation, then take the final. No other assignments are given. Canvas isn't really used either.

90% of the class is lectures and taking notes. She also tends to go on lots of tangents. It's up to you if that's an ick. The midterm/final is 10 essay questions based on notes, and there is also a presentation on a topic that interests you. I enjoyed the class but it took me a bit to warm up to it.

She's an awesome lady who teaches well, but she can be a little fast when it comes to notes/lectures so prepare yourself. She's very direct with what you need to know on exams and doesn't give out homework

all you have to do is write down everything she said to you'll get an A, her tests are open note and all you have to do is rewrite what you wrote to the test paper
