Her tests are NOT indicative of her lectures. Test questions are obscure and usually beyond the scope of the subject matter covered in her PowerPoint lectures- her only defense is the fact that the questions are created by the publisher [Test Bank], itself. Freshman note-taking class. I stopped going to class after 1st day and just read the book a day before the tests. Final stresses comprehensive portion more than anything and taken directly from previous 4 tests, so just study your last 4 tests. Lectures were a waste of time. The lab is so easy; took me maybe 20-30 mins max.

This is hard class for an intro She rushes through lectures using the excuse that she is trying to "build a base for future classes" I heard shes the hardest of the bio 189 teachers. There is extra credit but there is a slight unannounced curve. Get a hold of the old tests, most of the questions are the same. Lab is super easy. Final = old tests

She was a strict professor, but all of the material that was on the test was taken directly from the notes that were given in class. She did not seem very friendly to help out students....but there really is no need for help. If you study your notes, you will do fine on the tests.

Worst class of my LIFE!! Do NOT take! This lady's a nightmare; word on the street is she financially contributes to UNLV so they allow her to teach despite how terrible she is...Whether it's true or not, she's a terrible teacher--stay AWAY!!

Avoid this lady. She is crazy. Her tests are horrible and you can read the book 20 times and get a "F" in her exam. So hard teacher no Joke. I heard he got retired and if it is true I will be parting with firework. I can wait to see when she is gone.
