Great teacher, but be prepared to work hard in the class.
She is somewhat hard to understand but that is because of her accent not her teaching skills. She knows what she is doing and if you take notes and study you should be fine. It is hard material and a hard class no matter who the professor is.
I've had Sharon for 2070 and 2080 and although it can be hard getting through the class, she's a great teacher. If you show an interest in the class, but you're having trouble, you can go to her for help and she really helps you. She's become my favorite teacher, she made me love anatomy even more!
Doesnt update you on your grades. She will make mistakes of the exams and then claim to fix the errors she makes on everyones grades. She is also really bad at letting students know when exams are. On many occassions students would come in to class not knowing the test was that day....always changing her syllabus.
We did not get along very well...I do not believe that someone should be able to teach unless they know the english language...we had language barrier problems the entire semester...She was a horrible teacher
She's very difficult to understand, and doesnt cover the material that well
No Comments
Nice person, but leaves the classroom often, doesn't give much help, puts things on test that have never been brought up in class.
Difficult teacher but knew her stuff. Taught well and helped when needed. We even got to use our book on our last test!
Sharon is an excellent instructor. She gets a bad reputation from many students, because she is difficult. She expects college students not to cheat, to show up for the majority of classes, and to learn the material presented. Thank goodness for the last one. I don't want someone working on me who cheated or did not bother the learn anatomy.
Her accent isnt difficult to understand unless she talks really fast. Her lecture exams are hard but if u study you should be ok. Her lectures arent bad and there are notes available in the library. As for lab i would suggest maybe Coggins. He goes more in depth on subjects like the bones. Whereas sharon jus gave us the bones and said learn the
This professor is very difficult when taking this class online. I don't recommend this class if you want to take it online. She doesn't e-mail back in a timely manner and she makes a lot of spelling mistakes through out the course. On-line test were very hard.
Nice teacher outside of class...tough tests and quizzes, but only if you don't read the chapters thoroughly. If you have a job or a lot of other classes, do not take her. If you can devote time to studying (esp. memorizing bones/muscles/models in lab class), then you'll be okay. She will make you work hard for your grade.
Very hard, but very thorough. If you work hard and actually try to learn the material, you'll succeed. The course is NOT for slackers.
You gotta read through the textbook and notebook to be able to pass. The quizzes are in the notebook mostly. She know what she's talking about. Nice lady and will help if you are a good student. All the quizzes and group assignment help a lot!
Very hard quizzes and tests. gives to much information at once. would not recommend this class if you're taking others. She was the only one teaching in the pm. so I had to take her. I withdrew after the second test (both F) could not possibly make them up.
Great teacher and fun class. very hard quizzes and exams but you'll learn a lot. be prepared to study and devote a lot of time to this class. you'll get a lot of of it though.
TOUGH teacher. Her accent makes it a bit difficult to understand what she says. Her quizzes and tests are ridiculously hard, evenif you study! SHer teaching style is fast-paced and choppy; be prepared to be confused. If you have a choice, DON'T take her.
difficult although you must be a dedicated student to pass her class
Sharon gets a bad wrap, she's a tough instructor--that I will not dispute, but always willing to help if you ask. You aren't going to pass this class without putting forth alot of effort, so if you don't have time to "buckle down" and study you better pass on her classes!
I loved Ms. Sharon Douglas class. She was a very good instructor. BUT...you have to be a dedicated student to pass her class. I studied all the time and when I needed better instruction she would help me. PLEASE...be prepared if you take this instuctor...she's no JOKE. She does not give out A's you have to earn them.
I had her for Bio 1040 online, then I had her for Bio 2070 Lab. I had a really hard time with the lab because I had a different Lecture instructor and they focused on totally different things and went at different paces. I really liked her as a person and found that she really wanted you to succeed.
Sharon is not the professor to take if you want an easy "A",however, she is the professor to take if you want to learn the material that you will need to succeed in the nursing field.Hard work and dedication will earn you an "A",but don't expect a handout.Don't be afraid to ask for help,as she is always willing to spend extra time w/you if needed.
I had sharon for 2070 and I took her again for 2080. She is a tough teacher and will make you work hard for your grade. But when it came time for Nursing classes I was well prepared for the A and P of it. I really didn't use my book but its a good idea. But studying often is key to getting the grade you want. I would take her class anytime
Horrible teacher.Very difficult tests and quizzes.Impossible to get an A in her class on any assignment. I studied every night and coudln't predict what was on the quizzes. I don't recommned this teacher at all.
Comes off as kind of mean, but is actually a very nice woman. She will give you help if you need it, and is willing to help you if you have personal problems and cant come to class. tests are hard, but if you study you'll do good!
Many people have said that she is horrible. I went into that class thinking it was going to suck alot. She is actually a really helpful teacher. Lecture with her i wouldnt reccommend but LAB i would do again! She is very helpful and will point out things multiple times for you so that she makes sure you got it.
I took her in a summer class for bio 2070 lab and lecture and failed both miserably, i withdrawed on the last day possible. The next semester i took her for lab and coggins for lecture and that worked much better! Her lectures were not very clear on what you need to learn and study for the tests and the material dragged on and on. Labs are clearer.
I hated this class. She made me feel completely stupid. I would always feel I did good on the test and then I couldn't get any thing higher than a D. We were always behind and then she still made us have material we didn't learn on the test. Difinitly the worst teacher I have ever encountered.
I am very disillusioned by this course. I do not feel good about myself in this course and don't really want to open the lab book again.
This teacher should not be teaching anatomy. She tells you what to study for then come test time it's on material you haven't even learned yet. Would not recommend her at all.
I have had her for BIO 2070 and Bio 2080, she is a great person and very intelligent. She knows her stuff, you may think she is difficult while in class but you will appreciate it when you apply it to your career! She isn't easy, but she is very fair and always willing to help!
Definitely the hardest class I have ever taken. You must read and study and pray too!
Testings on what was not covered in class.Students did very poorly in the class, teaching style sucks....
Everyone is giving such negative reviews of her but she is awesome! She's really helpful and knows this stuff like the back of her hand. Yes..she is a little difficult, but to me she is very fair! As long as I studied for her tests I did just fine! I think it just depends on your learning style as to whether you'll do well with her as a teacher.
I had her in the summer and failed! She is degrading to her students and has a major attitude everyday! Her exams are impossible to pass. She would rather trick you than help you learn the info. My advise never take a class with this lady!
This class was very difficult! I studied my ass off but the test questions were very very tricky, long and hard to understand. The Lab section was very easy but the lecture I do not recomend.
I had sharon for lab. she is so nice! i would NEVER take her for lecture though (she is really hard). but in lab she is very nice and helpful! i always got A's on her test & she would tell you what would be on it & to forget the stuff that she wouldnt test. she is so nice & funny. i really liked her & would take another lab course with her def.!
She's the WORST teacher I've ever had! Lecture exams are impossible to pass. No one can get an A.. even a B on the exam! Most in our class got a final grade of C. On the lab, I don't know.. just study a lot if you want to have a good grade. Also, you need to always check and calculate your own grade.. to make sure that you're on track!
This is a very hard lecture, lab is an easy A. I got a B in lecture, but I studied ALL the time. She is very nice and VERY helpful. She helped me so much, but I went to her to ask for the help. The tests and quizzes are extremely hard. I think she gets a bad rap, she's very nice and funny, but extremely difficult, although not impossible.
very confusing, not clear on what you need to do. very sweet person but i could not follw the class.
Sharon was absolutely fabulous. She had high demands as a teacher. She also encouraged all of us students as well. She was an open book of knowledge, you just have to ask. It's great because you can argue test answers like crazy and she will actually accept argument. We had sooo much fun. She expects a lot but the knowledge that you gain is timeles
i took professor smith-douglas for bio 1040 lecture online. this was my first biology class & i really struggled. i read every word of the assigned chapters each week, but her tests & quizzes were not always on only the assigned reading. sometimes there would be questions from chapters that we hadn't covered yet.
Beware!! Took Bio2070 & Micro and did very well (A/B), but am completely failing her class. Her quizzes are impossible. Her due dates and points on webct are completely different from the syllabus. I emailed her to get help & she tells me maybe Im not cut out for a web class or to get a tutor. When I emailed her-it took 5+ days for a response.
This professor was not very helpful. I asked her once to clarify a discussion question and her response was, "It is a simple question, don't read more into it". I never asked her another question. She would nick pick discussion postings and deduct points if you don't answer a question that was never really asked. She also deduct points if you g
Mrs. Smith-Douglas is an extremely difficult teacher. She expects a lot, but gives you the courtesy of answering questions. You can argue tests. To do well, you need to study her notes! NOTES! NOTES! She is helpful, knowledgeable, and consistent. An A is hard but B should be relatively easy!
Not very helpful hard to understand, tests are awful
I have had Sharon for lab two semesters in a row. In 2070 she did not teach the bones in the body at all. That section was like an independent study. 2080 has been much of the same. A word of advice for her tests-just because she did not cover it in class, does not mean it will not be on the test!
Changed syllabus 4x, late consistently up to 1hr. Exam: misspelled words, ?'s repeated, material not covered, no correct answer listed, study guide useless. Lecture: Improper Eng., illegible handwriting on board, doesn't follow Dept supplied lecture material nor know proper terms or spelling. Worst professor encountered out of 52credits @ 4.0gpa
Have had this professor for A&P I and II and Microbiology. Put simply, she is not a good teacher, as she doesn't teach. You are solely responsible! Pet peeves: enormous amount of grammatical and spelling errors on tests and quizzes, even the syllabus. Her tests consistently include material not covered in class or provided in textbook. Avoid her!
One of my favorite professors at the college. I love this lady because she knows her stuff. I had her for all of my A&P classes. If you are going into nursing she will help get you prepared. I received a 100% on my 2080 final exam, due to her constant motivation of success. Be prepared to work hard and you will reap your benefits..please thank her!
If you are a good student and will be using the material in this class for your future then take this teacher. She's tough but fair, she cares about her students and will work with you till you understand the material. Tests are very hard. I wish I'd had her for both A&P's, I'd be a lot farther ahead in my classes now.
Sharon is an excellent teacher. By the time you are in college you shouldn't require your hand held as other people rating seem to require. She is tough and demanding but @ the end of her courses you feel educated in the subject. She's probably one of the best @ CSM. If you are going into a challenging demanding field you need a teacher like her.
VERY NICE WOMAN, SHE KNOWS HER STUFF, EXPECT TO WORK HARD AND STUDY HARDER. TUFF BUT FAIR ENJOY HER PERSONALITY
Took the class online. The tests did not really cover what you knew. Too many of the questions related to a single sentance in passing or a minute detail. The tests were not a barometer of what you know. The discussion questions were not graded the same for everyone, some held to a higher standard than others.
Took her Anatomy class online. Be sure to view the grading rubric for discussions. I forgot to cite my sources on a powerpoint assignment submitted on the board. 5 minutes later I replied to my own post with the references included. She gave me 0 points for that portion and stated that I did not include references. I tried...
Tough but fair. If you read the assignments, do the work, you will do well. You must be motivated to learn, she can only present the material. You have to want to learn it.
I took Intro to Anatomy as an online condensed summer course. There were assignments due about every 3 days, which is to be expected in a condensed course. The biggest problem that I had with that was that she did not open assignments until a day before they were due. That left no room to work ahead! She was not timely in responding to issues!!
I had her for BIO2080 and at first it was frustrating because she does take a little while to email you back. But overall I think she is a great professor! She really knows her stuff and she is very helpful. If you go to her with an issue she is always willing to help. I enjoyed my conversations with her. :)
HORRIBLE TEACHER. DO NOT EVER TAKE HER. SHE NEVER RESPONDS BACK TO E-MAILS WITHIN 48 HOURS, GRAMMAR ERROR ON EXAMS, QUESTIONS ON TEST REPEATED, SHE BASICALLY DOES NOT MAKE SENSE AT ALL. SHE IS HORRIBLE AND I CAN NOT EXPRESS IT ENOUGH. DO NOT TAKE HER!!!
She is really passionate about her class, but she is an awful teacher. She never replies to emails, her tests are very difficult, and she quizzes you on stuff she didn't teach in class/ stuff that's not in the book or notes/ gets irritated when students ask questions.
She is mediacore teacher honestly. I did manage to leave the class with an A but I'm a very focused and dedicated person. If you ask her for clarity, be prepared to be more confused. And she never actually tells you what it is you need to study for tests so I studied EVERYTHING. Do yourself a favor and choose a different professor.
only had her for lab. She isn't the best teacher,we had to correct her many times when she was teaching because she was teaching us the wrong thing. the written questions on her lab exam are very hard but the identification was easy if you studied. ALWAYS check your quizzes and test when she returns them because she was constantly making mistakes.
If anatomy isn't your thing, DO NOT TAKE HER. I love A&P and I took her online. All tests are online (aka nothing in the testing center) so you could look at your notes. Sounds easy right? NOT. Struggled to get B's. You have a 1 hour quiz due plus 1 assignmentdiscussion due weekly. Very hard to get ahead.
Absolutely horrible professor. She continually erases her writings on the board and corrects herself while lecturing. Gives group assignments with absolutely no direction whatsoever. When you ask questions because her lecture is all over the place and makes no sense, she gives you attitude. Take ANYONE else.
She is horrible!! Her grammarspelling mistakes are frustrating. Has not responded to one email. She has you do these long involved discussion questions and case studies and they are only worth 20pts. Quizzes every week with questions that don't make sense and cover material I have never seen before. Save yourself & money and don't take her!!
Very unclear. Syllabus is in 5 different confusing word documents with overlapping information. Does not answer emails. She really doesn't teach. She just collects a paycheck and lets the online curriculum do all the work. Very confusing assignments and she offers no personal help with them. Emailed her 14 times, no responses. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS
I'm not sure how she is in person, but this online class was incredibly stressful. None of the provided lectures made any sense and appeared to be copypaste jobs, half of the external links were broken, everything, including tests, was full of spelling errors. Graded discussions harshly with poor feedback and no way to respond or clarify.
Very confusing assignments. She will take off many points for simple mistakes like copying and pasting a link wrong even though the links she provides do not work. Quizzes include many spelling errors and questions from different chapters. Very difficult class to get an A or B in, even after doing all the work and reading. Would not suggest her.
1 discussion & quiz every week but not to hard, additional exam every other week. Not a hard class if you read the book, & respond to other classmates. Grades assignments & answers emails quickly. Make sure no spelling or grammar errors in your work. Overall nice class & good professor. You'll actually learn something in this class, would recommend
Would not recommend. Test and quizzes are full of questions that are not covered in class whatsoever. Scrambles all over the board and very hard to follow during lecture. Teaches the whole class by writing on the board which makes the course that much more difficult to understand, also gets mad when you ask questions.
Materiel she gives you to learn from is not on the quizzes. If you aren't already an expert in a&up don't waste your time with this teacher, she's not there to help, tries to confuse and trick you on quizes. Writes sloppy on the board and wants you to keep that as your notes ( but that info isn't on the quiz either) worthless to take this class!!!!
Horrible teacher. Her grammar is horrendous and when you ask her questions, she gets an attitude quickly. The information she bases her quizzes on is not in any of the notes she gives her class. Good luck finding it in the book either. I am a straight A student and I feel as though I will be lucky to pass this class with a C. Do NOT take her.
Typical online course where the professor is absent. Took 3 days to respond to me when she did respond. Only thing I can say is that she bumped my grade up when it was at the threshold.
Has a strong accent making her hard to follow. Teaches by writing on the board and even then its very difficult to read. Some questions on exams can be very random and out of context. I would not recommend her for anyone who has a hard time teaching themselves by the book. She also isn't very helpful, she gets quite the attitude when asking her Qs
These classes are difficult, if you do the studying and the readings and pay attention in class then you will pass. She def has her students do a lot of critical thinking WHICH is needed in the real world. Yes you have to work your butt off, but you will KNOW the information when you leave the class. Take a tape recorder
She is not attentive to her online class. Replies hardly ever. Doesn't get lectures out in a timely fashion. I only had her online. Would not recommend. Not sure how she is in a physical lecture, but I have no desire to find out. If you are a person who doesn't have a lot of questions, you'll do fine. If you have a lot, try a different professor.
So this professor is not easy by far. She expects you to work hard and study. This is not a class where you can expect an easy A. She does give extra credit and the good thing is that class has other things other then exams. The teacher does curve exam and will round a borderline grade. Knows her stuff.
With accent speaking fast, not willing to answer any question being unhappy for questions, tests or quizzes spelling error is not getting credit, graded quizzes and tests won't be returned to you and not the correct answer provided to learn from mistake, she suggested to drop the class rather than encouraging, retaking is must no matter who you are
Do yourself a favor and stay away from this teacher. She may know the information, but she does not know how to teach it. Her accent makes it impossible to understand her, and she will spend half an hour making a diagram on the board only to erase it and tell you that it was wrong, leaving you confused and frustrated. Tests are impossible.
Appeared unorganized and unprepared. EXTREMELY unclear in assignment direction and her questions for quizzes are WAY off base. Asks you to read the text for quizzes, but questions aren't closely related to the text. If she is going to get creative with the quizzes at provide study tool or at least be available for help. Worst professor I've had :(
Hands down the worst teacher I have ever had at CSM. We had to read out of the text book for all of our learning material on the subject (which is perfectly fine) however, when you take the chapter quiz's be prepared to see questions on that where either barley covered in the chapter. I passed this class based on my previous knowledge and google.
Wonderful teacher. She has high expectations for her students, so her tests are very tricky and question heavy.
Sharon is not a bad teacher. She takes a while to update your grade on mylearning. Her test questions can be difficult if you do not study or put in any effort. As long as you study and do your assignments as well as take advantage of extra credit opportunities you should be fine.
Ms. Sharon is a tough grader, but is very knowledgeable and very respectable. SHe makes you work for it, but she will prepare you well. Her tests are not too hard, but is expected for you to study (a lot). I personally make a lot of questions in class and she was always happy to answer ALL of them. I would take a another class with her.
I had a great semester with Mrs. Douglas. I read a lot of negative feedback from previous students and Im not sure why. She is actually really nice and understanding. Yes, there is a lot of material but as long as you record in class and rewatch your videos at home it is not bad at all. I learned a lot from her class and would even recommend her.
Had as an online lecture. The professor was very disorganized it seems and doesn't respond timely. She appeared late to her recitation teachings and often left early too. You read a chapter then do a quiz each week, often with either an assignment or discussions as well. The course is okay if you're good at teaching yourself
She is a great professor. She will say she will not put anything on the exam that she didn't cover in class, which is true, but make sure you know the technical terms that aren't gone over in lecture. READ THE TEXTBOOK pages that link up with the lecture. It's okay to do bad on exams. I did and still got an A in lab and B in lecture for SUMMER
Not a great communicator, shes seems to teach the class for her own learning experience. She runs through her lectures and leaves minimal time to grasp the important information.
She does have a thick accent which is fine BUT whats not fine is the fact that she flies through lectures and she just doesnt seem to care. It feels like she rambles more than anything and it never felt like we were on the same page. If a 0 was possible, id give her a 0. If youre a nursing major, do not ruin your GPA with her lecture.
Worst professor Ive ever had. Had 5 classes that semester and she made everything extremely difficult for me. Had her during rona season but she still posted lectures- which she rambled on in and only covered quiz information- NEVER exam information. Exams were so confusing and difficult it was unreal. I advise everyone to avoid her.
Do not take Anatomy and Physiology with this teacher. The online 6-week session is a nightmare. The syllabus does not match the due dates, quizzes are posted on random days and due within 24 hours. She does not respond to emails in a timely manner. Save your money and do not take A+P at CSM! Changes the due dates on zoom but does not post updates.
Overall the professor is nice, but lectures usually do not correspond with the exams. Also, when asked for feedback after receiving a grade, you either do not receive a response or it's significantly delayed and your second exam is due. Group projects were assigned without a guideline and she has taken off points-with no guide, and exams had errors
She is nice and pretty personable however, her lectures seem to drag on. Her syllabus does not have due dates. Her quizzes, exams, and assignments didn't have a time limit in the online summer course. I didn't receive specific feedback, it was either great or very bad. She also does not take constructive criticism very well - so don't bother.
Professor Smith-Douglas is a solid choice but does have an accent and her own take of wording exam problems. This can be challenging when you get questions wrong because you weren't sure how to interpret the question to begin with. She tries very hard and I learned a lot in her class. I will definitely be taking her again in the future if possible.
I have taken Mrs. Smith-Douglas many times and appreciate her lecture method. She is a tough lady and she will call out disrespectful and lazy students. Be prepared to work for your grade, but I have received A+ in all of her courses. Her exams are hard, but you will leave knowing what you need to!
The assignments were uploaded late and there were extensions so you had a day to do them. Her feedback is unhelpful, the quizzes have several incorrect answers, and you have to teach yourself everything. I dropped shortly after because I knew I would not get a good grade or pass.
Beware when taking her class especially pre-nursing or nursing students, SAVE YOUR GPA. When taking quizzes, it feel like the material is not in the book no matter how many times you read or take notes. I use the outline, lecture notes, and my own notes but manage to maintain Cs on the quiz. Homework worded to confuse you.
Dr. Douglas isnt a bad choice if you are a self learner. I was nervous at first to take her class due to reviews. She responded in a timely manner to emails and offered assistance, if needed. Assignments were straightforward. A quiz for each chapter, 3 discussions and she gave extra credit. I do wish she provided lecture videos for every chapter.
This course is not bad if you are able to teach yourself. There are 8 projects required that are not hard to do as long as you put time and effort into each of them. You will have 3 discussion questions that are not difficult. Lastly you will have 13 quizzes that are not extremely difficult and one final exam worth 150 points. Great class!
It was very hard to keep track of everything as she added assignments last minute, did not post due dates, and the due dates in the syllabus were completely wrong. Many of the links in the modules do not work and it is impossible to get ahold of her. Tests are extremely content heavy, be prepared to teach yourself most of the material.
Very unorganized with lab set ups, many times did not have time to finish. Does not lecture very good and I never felt prepared for her quizzes or exams. Never follows the schedule and makes up her own due dates. You have to really study hard and teach yourself for this class.
Class has been a mess from the start. Quizzes are written by her and have many grammatical errors. Some questions that are actually correct are marked as wrong because she mixed them up. But she is defensive if you bring that to her attention. We are also behind a few chapters. Be prepared to teach yourself, that's the only way you'll learn
This professor is extremely unorganized, not helpful and comes off rude. She is not tech savvy at all. She is terrible at responding to emails. We are in the last two weeks of class and she is throwing work at us because are class has been behind for two months. There has been multiple quizzes with multiple errors, unclear questions. Worst Class !!
She assigns group projects with grades and other presentations without the grades. Students refused to make these huge presentations without any grades. The class was behind the schedule. Prof did not follow her own syllabus. Quizzes and exams were written by the professor. On the final exam, there were 23 pictures missing out of 50 questions.
Was assigned a group project the first day (Monday) of a virtual class with no meeting time and not assigned to a group. Emailed professor next day (Tuesday) for guidance. It is now Thursday, past the 48-hour email time mentioned in the syllabus, and I have received no response nor have I been assigned to a a group. Drop and save your GPA.
Very disorganized, if you must take her (which I did because it was the only class that fit my schedule)I would advice you to stay on top of everything or you will drown. We constantly had to email her which half the time she never got back at us.
Disorganized, Horrible with responding to e-mails, comments are often rude, and due dates often don't match up with the dates posted. Never taking this class with this professor again
Had her for the 1st 7-week session of A&P2 & was very surprised by how nice she was. I had heard a lot of horror stories from students but she was a great prof! She wants her students to succeed & gave opportunities for extra credit. You might get a little lost during her lectures but don't be afraid to speak up, she's happy to explain things more!
She is a very sweet and caring person but was not very tech savvy which is needed for an online class. Her grading technique was very confusing and some of the assignments were confusing as well and my classmates and I couldn't clear up any confusion because she wouldn't respond to emails.
She words her own questions on the quizzes and does not take attendance. She also rarely answers her emails and overall the learning material is unclear. She barely puts grades in and never really offers good advice on how to fix it. It is all very unorganized if you ask me. If you decide to take this class, good luck! You'll need it.
The professor is very sweet and she really knows her stuff. But the class is very unorganized and that can be stressful. If you take this class you HAVE to stay on top of the assignments-start when the modules open!! And do every single assignment because it will make or break your grade at the end. Attendance not mandatory but you should go
(Online) DISORGANIZED. Syllabus and rubrics DO NOT match, unreachable by email, test questions worded almost to intentionally cause confusion. She may be better in person, but I do NOT recommend her for online. Never gave ANY feedback, so test correction was nearly impossible. Final did not match her style for all other exams.
Cannot work my learning, slow email responder, I never felt prepared for exams no matter how much studying I would do because there were always random things that were not mentioned that we needed to know in the LIST of things SHE gave us to use to PREPARE for the exams.
this professor is very unprofessional, she does not reply to emails, takes forever to grade assignments, quizzes and exams; still am waiting for a final grade a day after grades were due into the system. she will be late to class. she is unprepared with to teach. I would recommend to wait for another professor or try to get into another section.
was not very good at responding to emails or giving feedback
I took Professor Smith-Douglas for A&P I and II. While she is kind and offers easy extra credit, her classes are disorganized. She was often late, used test time to set up materials, and the syllabus didn't align with due dates. She's not very tech-savvy and rarely responds to emails. I recommend choosing another professor for A&P II.
This instructor was disorganized, late, and used class time to prepare materials. This took away from learning time, as A&P 2 is already difficult to understand. The online lectures were long and EXTREMELY difficult to hear due to background noise/mic feedback. This was one of the worst instructors/class experiences I've had at CSM.
I had taken her for AP2 for spring semester her class was all over and disorganized. I did well in lecture since it was all online but lab in person she was always late and using time to set up for quizzes/exams, not tech savy she never updated grades and responded very late to emails. I would recommend another professor goodluck if you do take her
