Attendance for lectures required. For someone not strong in math, she made it learning fun and easy. She responds quickly to emails. Due to family reasons I struggled, but still passed. There's a lot of homework but if you stay on schedule you'll get it done. She also offered extra credit opportunities. Overall a good professor.
Honestly, her class wasn't very hard to take as long as you do the homework and show up to class you will pass. She is very laid back about how she teaches.
Honestly, it is very hard to fail her class because she has a clear syllabus and that she is very lenient with her grading. During lectures, she answers all questions you would have and also answers questions during her office hours.
Difficult class, but good professor.
Very leintent with when work is due.
Very clear directions. Lots of easy to find extra help and resources.
Great leaning materials provided.
Class was straight forward. She had everything outlined when it was due and what was expected. Not alot of extra work outside of MML. Took the 7 week course which made the course load very heavy. The first two week you must be on top of your due dates but then you can work at your own pace as long as you get it done before the final.
Great class! I took her 7 week course, must be very self disciplined and have a drive to get work done to be successful. She tells you from the start when everything is due. Gives great help and lessons during class.
Professor Sweet was very helpful any time I had a question and emailed her. She responded back to me very quickly and told me exactly what I needed to do. She thoroughly went over all of the chapters down to every section. Some of the lectures were done later in the day which made it easy for me to watch after work and around my schedule.
I really enjoyed Professor Sweet. I had her for a 7 week course so there was a lot of material to get through in a short amount of time but the class never felt overwhelming. In our conference meetings she would always try her best to make sure that everyone understood the material and she was a fair grader. Id take her class if I had the chance.
I wish people were more honest in their professor reviews, this professor bribes students with extra credit points for a good review. Her class is very straight forward but not for the weak! Due dates are given in advance but the workload is HEAVY. Expect 7-15 assignments in a week. Does give good help in class however.
Great teacher ! Loves questions
Professor Sweet was great, she really stays on you and make sure that you stay on task. She is very helpful and cares if you are pass and/or failing. Would definitely take her again and recommend her as well.
Professor Sweet is nice and respects everyone in the class. Participation is a must, but she makes the class easy when she teaches. I, for one, do not like math but she explains the material until you understand it. I have the online textbook for this class, but I don't really use it unless I want to check examples on a problem.
I was incredibly nervous to take statistics, especially online and being terrible at math, and Professor Sweet made it effortless. I was very happy with how she made the time in class and outside of class to assist with questions and explaining things I wasn't understanding. Honestly the best math class and professor I've taken in 2 years at FSCJ.
Must show up to class to receive full attendance points. You can print out a syllabus which tells you which assignments you need finished in a week, but you can work ahead and you can go back and work on previous work till the end of the semester. You can always email her and ask for help, she'll go over questions in class. Loved her!
Provide very clear and concise information regarding course material and is a great professor overall. As long as you are proactive and put in the time like ever other college class, you will pass.
This class is heavy on my math lab. All of the homework, quizzes, and tests are due at the end of the semester. You can retake the homework and quizzes as many times as you want. Midterm and final have a retake option. It is easy to get behind in this class since it is all online so do your homework EVERY WEEK!! Goes over questions.
Professor Sweet is stern but fair. She makes it very clear what is required of us as students and is always prepared to elaborate and answers as many questions as we can give her.
Professor Sweet was an amazing teacher the syllabus is very straight forward, do the work and show up to class and you get the grade. She's very open and willing to help.
Reaches out to her students.
She was amazing! You do a lot on your own and work at your own pace which I enjoyed. The class itself is a lot of work and hard, but she makes it easier.
I am currently taking and online class with Professor Sweet for MGF1107. I would recommend her to anyone taking this class. She is always available for questions outside of class hours. She also gives opportunities for extra credit. It is a lot of work for a seven-week course but is possible to accomplish. Bottom line, great Professor.
I took this as a 7 week online and I really enjoyed it. Prof Sweet is always available via email and was always quick to respond and help. There was three tests and if you take all three theres no final. everything is on mathXL and vital source for workbook assignments. I would recommend her over and over again!
I took this as an accelerated online course. There is a lot of information you must learn in a short amount of time. So, if you're not already somewhat familiar with the topics, this class may not be a good class to take accelerated. I think I would do much better if I had a full semester. Leave plenty of time to study and do the assignments.
Professor Sweet is knowledgeable on this subject well beyond the parameters set by the textbook and goes to teach beyond the criteria set by the school. She makes sure that every student understands the subject being presented and constantly goes over new material to avoid confusion or poor performances on homework.
Completed an online accelerated course with Professor Sweet. Her syllabus is clear, concise, and gives you an outline of what you need to complete (including deadlines). Two attempts for midterm and final, infinite attempts for homework/quizzes so you can learn and understand the material. She is caring, patient, and wants every student to succeed.
Professor Sweet is very easy to talk to when you need help and is very knowledgeable in terms of explaining different ways to result in the same answer. She is always willing to work with her students to ensure success.
I took this class as an accelerated online course and there was a lot of information to cover in a short amount of time. All homework, quizzes, and tests are due at the end of the semester. Her lectures are very clear, and she will take the time to explain something if you do not understand. Do the work and you will end up with a good grade!
The professor explained very well each topic in her lectures. I would take a class with her again.
Professor Sweet was great; although she has high expectations, she's also very flexible. Math is not my most vital subject, but I enjoyed this class.
Great Choice and great professor.. I would definitely take this class again a
Professor Sweet is knowledgeable about the traditional ways of doing math. Her lectures mostly consist of answering questions anyone has from the readings. She makes sure you have no questions during class, asking everyone individually to confirm they have no questions before class is over.
I took her 7 week course and I thought it was going to easy since I love math and It was. Ms. sweet was very helpful, she answer any and all questions you give her! Trust, I asked plenty in my class! A textbook isnt needed becausw you can use mymathlab materials unless you need something physical. Always come to class on time and participate!
Clear instructions and easily understandable syllabus. She was very kind and willing to help anyone with any questions they had. I did not have any problems regarding her grading criteria or anything of the sort. Lectures were helpful and kept within a timely manner.
Great Professor, Caring and understanding. Clear and easy to follow syllabus. I would definitely take this class again.
Lectures consist of answering your questions. She was very helpful in making sure you understood the assignments. There were about 3-5 homework assignments a week along with a practice test and quizzes. The midterm and final were proctored. Great professor, just do your work and attend class meetings and you will pass.
Took her 7-week course and I would say it's pretty fair. Time goes by kinda quickly so I recommend spacing out your work. Most work is done in MyMathLab except 3 discussions which are done through Canvas. She also offers extra credit during the last week. She will answer any & all questions and just wants to see you succeed. Considering? Take her.
I usually struggle with math, but Professor Sweet was very straightforward with the material and the assignments being on mymathlab makes things easier also.
Ms. Sweet is an amazing professor, she truly cares to help you pass if you are showing the effort and doing your work. If you have questions on the material she will continue to go over it till you have grasped an understanding and she is very giving with her time after class to continue to help you out. you have UNLIMITED attempts on quizzes.
An amazing teacher that boasts a very good understanding of the course and sets up the lessons, tests and homework perfectly for students to work on without problem. If a students has an issue or question, she is quick to respond in e-mails.
She is a good professor, and she really wants to see you succeed in the class. The textbook itself is quite difficult to understand. However, I am thankful that she had pre-recorded lecture videos available that not only covered the textbook, but also the homework. Speaking of homework, there was just too much homework.
She is a good teacher. Her lecture's videos are understandable and clear. Well, I am good at math so. There is a lots of homework. But if you planned your schedule, you will surely overcome it. You will have two proctored tests which I personally hate because some of proctors were mean, Respect is a requirement. She doesn't put her grade on time.
An amazing teacher that boasts a very good understanding of the course and sets up the lessons, tests and homework perfectly for students to work on without problem. If a student has an issue or question, she is quick to respond in e-mails.
I did the seven week class that was a bad decision. She really do not teach that much. She mainly go over questions we need help on. She have her own text book so make sure you get the copy not digital. Attendance is a huge part and also tests. To pass the class stay ahead and do time management. NEVER TAKING A 7 WEEK CLASS AGAIN!
Class says "virtual instructor". It's a lie. Mandatory attendance and participation to hear rambles for 3hs and answers questions only, NO LECTURE. She's sweet and all, but the class should be set as async with NON-mandatory attendance. No point in showing to the class if you don't have questions. 3hs/week wasted. You teach yourself in Pearson.
I took Professor Sweet for MGF 1106 as a pre-requisite class. With it being a seven-week class, there were a lot of assignments due per week. There are 3 proctored tests and no final. Her classes were great because she bases them off of the students' questions. I enjoyed taking Professor Sweet and would definitely take her again!
Not a bad class if you are willing to work for it
The professor to this class was very kind and understanding, I always got email replies very quickly. The class got out of control for me, but it is very manageable if you stay on top of everything. Would recommend to those who are willing to get up every day and study.
Professor Sweet listened to you and would give good feedback, would even walk you through steps and where you went wrong. She also allowed test retakes which were great.
good professor if you pay attention
She great mathematics professor. She makes it easy to understand. She is open to questions and makes sure you understand the answer when she addresses them. I really enjoyed her class. If I have one criticism, she could spend more time on the formulas. The formula sheet isn't labeled I was overwhelmed. Overall a great course on Statistics.
Professor Sweet is an amazing teacher who only ask that you pay attention in class and do your work. She gives you the whole class year to finish every assignment and answers any questions you might have. She explains mathematical problems very easily and gives extra credit for struggling students. She also gives students her notes after class.
Professor sweet is a wonderful MAT professor, you can tell she cares. She allows the midterm and final to be taken twice and gives extra help if you need it. I would really recommend her class.
The professor is an amazing person and you will always know what is going to happen in the class. 2 hrs does seem to be way to long for a math class though.
Professor was very nice and a person and great instructor as professor . she makes the notes very clear and precise . Gives you a lot of tools to understand all the modules and assignments.
This course does take a lot of patience and what I mean by this is it's a lot of work and information to retain. You have a lot of work to do but if you stay on track like the syllabus says it will go smoothly. There is a lecture once a week (at least for my class there was) and she goes over any and all questions you have. I would 100% recommend!
Professor Sharon Sweet is an amazing professor! She cares a lot about her students and wants them to succeed. She will answer any question you have and responds quickly via MyMathLab, phone/text, or email. Her lectures she posts for the online class are very helpful and she will go over any questions you have during class. Highly recommend her!
So glad I had Professor Sweet for MAT1033!! If you need help with a topic, she will make sure you understand it! There is a bit of HW, but all of that prepares you for the Mid-Term and Final so it is very worth completing! All done on Canvas. Lots of Extra Credit! Very worth taking her class. I'm thinking about taking her for College Algebra! MX
Professor Sweet is great at lecturing and helping you understand the material. She makes sure you understand what you're doing and she's always asking if you have any questions.
The class itself is not bad at all, just involves doing mymathlab for everything. She honestly doesn't even play a part in the class hence why I didn't rate her highly. You literally do everything by yourself and once a week she answers questions. She is very kind and caring though, it's just that you literally teach yourself everything.
Professor Sweet is amazing! She made sure class was interactive. She thoroughly goes over material to make sure we have a good understanding. She always provides feedback to questions during class.
I highly recommend her shes so nice and is clear with how she explains her lessons love her .
Professor Sweet makes a hard subject enjoyable and easier to understand. She was clear with her grading style, attendance and very organized. She was quick to respond to all questions. The midterm and finals had two attempts. Plus she allowed formula sheets. Take her course, you will not regret it. I enjoyed her class!
She was amazing. I really don't like math and she made it actually interesting and not a drag to complete my work. She is approachable and never makes you feel like you're asking a stupid question.
She's relatable. She cares. She's got a good sense of humor. Good teacher! She enjoys participation. Wear a mask to her class for her protection.
I took this class for the Summer semester. Professor Sweet provided video lectures that made each topic easier to learn. I was expecting to feel stressed from this class because of how bad I am with math, but it went smoother than I thought. I would recommend her class to anyone that learns best from videos.
Professor Sweet was very good, she was really quick in her responses to emails as well as helping with any questions to be solved.
Professor Sweet worked her hardest to ensure that math online was not a stress for me. She is very patient and attentive to her students whenever they have questions. I could not have done this math class without her extra care in ensuring that I succeeded. The ample resources she provided on her page created a clear outline of the course as well.
You do end up having to teach yourself a lot for this class. The material is very tough and while the teacher does promote in class participation, there are times when it simply is not clear. This professor is very lecture heavy, so make sure to do your homework and quizzes so that you can better understand the material.
Professor Sweet was the best Math teacher I have had. I have always struggled with Math and Professor Sweet was graceful and helpful when I went to her with concerns and struggles I was having. Highly recommend her to anyone dreading and struggling with Math / Statistics
Professor Sweet is amazing, I really enjoy her lectures they are very well explained and she provides a lot of feedback!.
Professor Sweet is a very helpful Instructor. The only thing is, you have to participate in her class, especially particularly if it is online. Her lectures are amazing and always willing to extend to make you understand what is confusing. I have nothing to say, but I will gladly take her again.
When I first started I was scared not to finish because of lots of homework. After, speaking to professor Sharon Sweet I was confident to keep on going with the class , and I admire her efforts to keep teaching the class even when she was sick.
Be expected to attend every lecture and participate. The Professor makes sure everyone is learning and participating which makes the class very effective.
It was a very fast paced course, but I knew that going in to it. I don't think I realized how difficult it would actually be. Thankfully, Professor Sweet provided us with a Calendar of Events. As long as you follow that calendar, you won't get behind, but you definitely do not want to fall behind. That was very helpful for keeping us on track.
She has high expectations but will help you when you're struggling. Do the work and you will pass.
I took Professor Sweet for a 7 week course not realizing how difficult it would be to manage. Be prepared to participate and attend every lecture. It is apparent that she wants her students to succeed and that kept me going throughout her course. I would gladly take her again, however, I would be sure to lighten my load prior.
It is definitely difficult to take a 7-week course of algebra. Prof Sweet will try her best to keep you on track the whole time and she organizes everything very well which is much appreciated. She really seems to care how well her students do, and wants you to participate in class in order to help you succeed. I would take a class of hers again.
Overall, I would definitely take STA 2023 with Professor Sweet. Currently my only thing holding me back is my final midterm and final exam. That's going to be the deciding factor of if I pass this course which I of course need to pass in order to take something such as calculus. Fingers crossed I make it pass the threshold ladies and gents!
Mandatory attendance, helpful lectures, participation required, you can work ahead, you have unlimited quiz retakes, test have one retake, three discussion boards, recorded lectures.
Professor Sweet is patient with her students. Therefore don't be afraid to ask questions. Homework is on math lab and it's unlimited attempts on all assignments. There is two attempts for each exam you take. The stat notebook is a test grade. It's time consuming and a bit difficult so watch out for that. Also you have to show up for class.
Keep up on assignments, and use your resources (tutors, asking the professor for help) and you'll do fine.
Professor Sweet is just like her name, sweet! Her lectures are long but they were thorough, giving enough time for her to answer anyone's questions if needed. Homework, which was on MyMathLab was more on the heavier side but there were infinite attempts. She allows two attempts on all tests, three tests in total. Be sure to show up for attendance!
Professor Sweet's class was a bit difficult, but it has been 5 yrs since the last time I looked at math. If you are good at math, this is a great class to take. If you struggle in math but need this class as a credit, make sure you study all material from the 1st and 9th chapters. The final is all chapters. focus on stat notebook from day one
She is very thorough in the class meetings and goes over all of the topics well. If you pay attention to them you'll have no problem acing this class. She is very helpful if you need to reach out for assistance with anything, and really helps to make sense of the difficult topics. If you have her as an option for your math class, take her!!!
This professor is very kind and thorough. She really cares and wants her students to do good. College algebra in general is so tough so this class was hard for me yes, but nothing to do with the professor. She really helped us get through it!
Professor Sweet really lets her students shine on their own. She doesn't hold your hand, and expects you to keep up with at least the minimum pacing guide she provides. I thought I was going to have a much harder time in this class than I ended up having. I would absolutely take another one of her classes.
Ms. Sweet is wonderful. Her class is difficult, but she offers plenty of extra credit and leniency on completing work at your own pace. She also provides clear, and VERY helpful instructions on how to use resources and technology needed for computations. I was uncomfortable with Excel and Google Sheets until I took her class. Thank you Ms. Sweet.
Took a seven-week College Algebra class and got an A!! Attendance is taken every week during lectures and it is best to participate. Textbook/Homework/Exams were accessible using Pearson. Exams are proctored and we were only allowed scientific calculators. Provided us with lots of help/resources. Very kind professor that wants you to succeed!!
Make sure to ask questions! This class went by extremely fast!
Professor Sweet is a very understanding person and she really wants you to succeed. It is really up to you to get your work done because she sets you up in the perfect position to get a good grade.
Great, would 100% recommend. Very simple and smooth.
Simple and straightforward class! Professor Sweet is very good at replying in a timely manner also!
Took MAC1105 class!! Attendance is taken every time during lectures. Textbook/Homework/Exams were accessible using Pearson. Exams are proctored and we were only allowed scientific calculators. She let you take the exams twice and keep the highest score. Provided us with lots of help/resources. Very kind professor that wants you to succeed!! Online
When asking a question she will not answer you instead she will tell you to go find the answer or ask someone else. Professor Sweet did not care about your personal situations at all. I will never take another one of her classes again.
I took this class strictly online, no lectures. I can say this was the easiest class I had this semester. It was a lot of work but I expected that for a strictly online course. She emails back in a timely manner or she'll even call you. I recommend Prof Sweet!
I took this class online and was happy to have her as my Professor. She is very informative and responds to emails in a timely manner. This was a 7 week class with lots of coursework. She allows you to take the quizzes and exams twice and lets you keep your highest grade. Definitely would take Professor Sweet again! :)
Had Professor Sweet for my 8am online class and she was great! Willing to speak after class and help you as best she could. All her test are proctored so be prepared for that, however overall great professor!.
Professor Sweet was quick to respond to questions and concerns that I had throughout the course. She also provided good example videos that help you better understand the math topics we learned about throughout the course. I recommend Professor Sweet to any FSCJ students!
Professor Sweet was very helpful throughout my entire time in this 7 week course. She kept emailing me reminders and was very understanding of my work life and school balance. She answered everyone's questions in the zoom calls that we had and really made sure we understood the subjects. I would take Professor Sweet's class again if i could.
This course was a little hard just because it was 100% online. She had lecture videos, but I choose to learn through my lab.
Professor Sweet was great. Ensure to pay attention to all the practice tests for the exams. She explains topics well. However, attendance is mandatory. Highly recommend.
I would take this class again! She is very kind and will work with you.
Professor Sweet was very helpful during this course. It is only a 7-week class so there is a good amount of work, but she was extremely helpful. Any questions I had she always responded and was very thorough in the lectures.
This professor is super caring and sweet, she takes her time to make sure you understand the material and she also responds fast which comes in handy when you're on a time crunch for the assignments.
I took Professor Sweet's online course and she was by far the most responsive professor I've had and was quick with her responses. She was very helpful in assisting me multiple times this semester and has plenty of helpful resources in the canvas shell. I highly recommend this professor!
Professor Sharon Sweet has to be one of my favorite teachers. Not only does she give her students a great layout of how this course is going go, but she is also very helpful with anything that you may be struggling with. She is a teacher that truly wants the best for you and you college experience.
I took a seven week course and it was a lot but I got through. All assignments are online. There are two exams that are proctored.
Professor Sweet Is kind and very polite. We had a hurricane right before our midterm and she extended the due date. she's very flexible and her syllabus is very helpful. If you take her and you need to know anything LOOK IN THE SYLLABUS! overall, I would take another course led by Professor sweet!
Professor Sweet is the perfect professor you could enlist to teach you Math. If you ever need her assistance she is very accessible and is very respectful to everyone that takes her course. She will go above and beyond and will aide all of her students in successfully receiving credit for the course.
I took an accelerated 7-week course. Lots of work to do each week for C7, but as long as you keep up it should be fine. You can retake quizzes as many times as you like, and retake tests once each. She was available outside of class with prompt responses to e-mail, and there were multiple extra credit opportunities.
All objectives were clearly stated prior to the beginning of the course. As long as you complete your assignments you should be successful in this course. The professor grades in a timely matter and provides feedback on coursework when needed.
Professor Sweet was really easy to work with and responded fairly quickly to any emails that I would send. She wants you to do good and gives out extra credit towards the end. Just be sure to show all work on each assignment/test and if there is no work to be shown, be SURE to leave explanations.
I would recommend Professor Sweet to anybody I know that needs to complete a math class. She cares about her students and will go above and beyond to be sure you are on track and understanding the material! She also offers extra credit which I really appreciated.
Professor Sweet made things very easy to figure out and straight to the point. Her syllabus spelled out everything we needed to do to be successful in her class. Do the work and tests, and you shouldn't have any issues!
I have taken stats twice and picking Professor Sweet was a good choice. I understood stats better because of her. She explains in great detail about how to solve the problem, helpful when it comes to questions and provides lecture videos for you to take notes before class. Make sure you create stats notebook(it will count for a grade).
I took STA 2023 online and as long as you keep up with the weekly homework and exams, you will be fine. The practice midterm and finals are excellent preparation for the actual tests.
Professor Sweet was a amazing professor. She will explain anything you may be having trouble without being hard on you about.
Mrs. Sweet is very straightforward with her teaching and with also what she wants from you as a student, she is very easy to learn from and she has no problem going and repeating if you are still confused. Just be sure to come to class as often as possible and also her studying tips and guides are extremely helpful.
Professor Sweet is very nice and easy to work with. She does not mind explaining things more than once. Make sure you use your scrap paper for every exam question because she will add partial credit for answers you got wrong due to small mistakes.
Professor Sweet was an amazing teacher. I had to retake this course due to my previous instructor not being good. She gives us a 3-page formula sheet that we can use in all proctored exams. She has us number our scratch sheet so that she can review it with our exam and credit you more. I will definitely look out for her name again.
Professor Sweet explains everything that needs to be accomplished during the course and is very good at emailing reminders for assignments that are due.
Professor Sweet is great at emailing reminders for assignments due. She sets the goals needed to achieve success.
She made the course very accessible and had plenty of resources to learn the information. She was also quick to respond to any questions or concerns.
There was only homework and a quiz due each week. 3 discussion posts, one midterm exam and one final exam. If you read the material and complete the assignments on time it should be easy to pass. This professor was also very helpful whenever I reached out to her with questions.
If anyone needs to take STA2023, I would highly recommend Prof. Sweet. She was very willing to explain topics until people understood them and she even let people take her lecture notes home with them. Since she explained everything clearly, there were only a few topics I needed outside help on.
Mrs. Sweet is very straightforward with the way she teaches, she is very easy to understand and goes into great detail about whatever the topic is.
there was no real learning style as it was all online in a 7 week course try your hardest and do the work and you pass
Although a difficult class. The professor was helpful and professional.
Professor Sweet has been nothing but a help with my struggles in statistics. I was unfortunately too in my head to do just what I wanted on the final, which reflects on my grade, but Professor Sweet took plenty of time to help figure out what I needed to do in order to help myself. Her lectures are thorough and her class is worth the struggle.
Professor sweet cares about her students. She likes when students asks questions. She also likes when students participate in her class. There is alot of hw in this class. 3 discussions, 1 midterm, and 1 final. Her lectures are going over hw the whole time.
Great professor. If you are willing to work and participate you will pass and actually learn the information.
I took Professor Sweet for an online Elementary statistics course. Math is honestly one of my hard subjects so it was honestly a struggle for me. But Professor Sweet was very accessible one call away for sure!!! Especially with me being an online course I was able to call her as well as email her and the turn around time was fast.
Ms. Sweet is very caring and her lectures are easy to follow, she gives you time in the beginning of class to ask questions about the homework and get help. I enjoyed her class a lot!
she is truly amazing! made class so much fun and helped all the time with any questions or concerns.
I made an account just to warn people to not take her online class. If you are ready to watch 9 hours of pre videoed lectures and not have an active teacher then this is the class for you. Maybe she is different in person but for this class I taught myself.
One of the best teachers I've had in ages!!! Her teaching was fast (7wk course) but will go over anything (no matter how long it takes) that you may not have understood during lecture! She gave two attempts on each test and homework was a little heavy but definitely had you ready for testing. Definitely recommend!
My rate might be a little bias because I'm not very profound in math but overall Prof. Sweet wasn't a harsh professor but her grading is kind of tough. I would suggest to anyone who struggles with math to get help as soon as possible when needed because it is a faster pace.
Great Professor. Took the online course and it was pretty easy to navigate. Lot of assignments on MyLab but it's fine as long as you keep a good pace throughout the class. Professor Sweet cares about your success in the course and is always willing to work with you on assignments based off your availability.
She is very connected to her students and is here to help you. Don't ever feel like you can not ask questions.
There were several instances during my 12-week class where this professor had other priorities and canceled my class or simply forgot. There were 5 classes that ended up being canceled for various reasons. There was just a lot of disorganization. This class is for students needing extra preparation for college algebra so we needed lecture time!
Professor Sweet is an understanding but firm professor. She genuinely wants all her students to grasp and understand the concepts and will extend help when and wherever possible. The 12-week course is a bit intense but doable. Coursework is heavy but understandable with time, practice, and effort.
This is my second course with Professor Sweet. Professor Sweet makes problems relatable, so they're easy to comprehend. I've taken her class in a classroom setting and online and I would recommend her for both. I highly recommend her for your next Math course!
Professor Sweet uses Pearson MyLab, which works well for my learning style. She is organized and clear on her grading criteria. Homework assignments are balanced, and Quizzes can be taken multiple times to master. MidTerm is two chances, and the Final is one. I would retake this professor.
Ms. Sweet really cares if you pass and she likes teaching. If you read the material and utilize the videos she post, you should do fine, or questions via email as well. This professor was also very helpful during lectures and willing to show examples during class. Awesome, life was not more difficult than it needed to be.
Professor Sweet seems like a kind and caring professor. I do feel this class was too test-heavy. I probably should have signed up for an in-person class. I struggled with this math class to the point that if I pass; it will be by the skin of my teeth. I should have known better. Math is not my best subject.
Professor Sweet Is absolutely amazing i have taken her for almost all of my math classes and i would take her classes over and over again, she is very insightful when it comes to questions you may have, she's very caring and answers emails very quickly. 10/10 recommend taking any class wit professor Sweet.
For anyone who struggles in in math, Professor Sweet's class would be the class to take. In this course, there are only three exams and you have a second attempt to retake exams.
Professor Sweet is very understanding. She gave very clear rules and grading criteria at the beginning of the class. Online classes are easy to get behind in. She would send an email reminding us of deadlines. She has given us extra time to complete tasks that we may have missed. I look forward to taking classes with her again.
Professor Sweet is a passionate professor who is readily accessible to her students, I felt like she was quite possibly overloaded this semester. I am unsure how many classes she was teaching but for my class she was late 3 times and canceled classes 2-3 times to attend a math competition and help grade something and it affected my enthusiasm level
The easiest math class I've had! All the study material you need is given to you to do at your own pace. It's a lot to read, but they're fairly simple math topics. Professor Sweet is always there for you if you're stuck on a question for one of the assignments. I would love to take her class again, and I definitely recommend others to enroll!
She really cares that you understand the math. She takes her time teaching, and she doesn't mind helping you. Ms. Sweet was really good. She works with you and I think that's important.
Ms. Sweet was a great teacher. She really wants you to understand the material. She gives a lot of materials to help you understand and she works with you. If you need help all you have to do is, ask and she makes time for you separately if need be. She also gives extra credit.
Professor sweet is a great professor and allows time for students to come in and get one on one help with anything they need to work on.
Professor Sweet was just like her name, sweet. I could've received a higher grade however that is on me. Your grade is really up to you, everything is done through Math XL. I took a 7-week course & the deadline for the work was the end of the 7 weeks. If I had set aside a tiny bit more time, I would have received an A. You won't regret her class!
Had her at UNF. She gives overwhelming amounts of homework (per lecture!) and gives you a quiz every time you go to class. Had to withdraw and she was very rude about it when I left according to my classmates. She cannot hear very well so if you have questions you have to speak up. Super strict about calculator covers. There are better options.
Best teacher I have ever had since I started at FSCJ.
Professor Sweet responded promptly to any questions I had. This course will be a breeze if you understand the Algebra you learned in high school. If you do get stuck, there are tons of video lectures and an online study guide where you can practice problems in areas you're stuck on.
Professor is professional and communicative, as well as extremely fair. Course offers flexibility to complete assignments and offers extensions past due dates. More than possible to excel, completely up to you. Haven't had to reach out to the professor for additional help, all lessons have been more than clear through Lumen Learning.
I struggle with Math, but prof. Sweet's class made it feel manageable. Multiple homework lessons & quizzes each week. There are 2 tests, which could be a good or a bad thing. I would take prof. Sweet's class again. She responded to emails quickly and she truly cares about her students' success. She provided us with lots of resources/help if needed.
Super easygoing teacher. I loved this class and this teacher. I would defiantly recommend this professor to anyone!
Professor Sweet is an amazing teacher! She provides all instructional material in various formats, such as PowerPoints, videos, etc. She even posts extra videos for support and provides her own simplified notes for each section as well as an additional extensive formula sheet for testing. I would recommend her for anyone needing a math credit!
Lectures are very important, as long as you keep you with the homework and attend lectures you should be good. Mrs. Sweet is a very kind and funny professor.
Mrs.Sweet was very kind and patient about submitting assignments. All work is done through access Pearson and Mrs.Sweet gives many opportunities for all work to be completed before the end of the semester. Quizzes and assignments have unlimited attempts.
Sharon Sweet was an excellent team player when it came to class lectures. She was very accommodating all throughout my time learning with her.
I was struggling with managing the workload for the class but Professor Sweet was willing to take from her day off and speak to me over the phone. I am very grateful she did that for me. She works with you and helps you when you need it.
Gives ample opportunity to complete homework assignments and quizzes. Enjoyed her sense of humor, it always made going to class a great experience. Thorough with explanations and feedback. Takes time with every problem to ensure understanding is clear. All homework, quizzes, midterm/final exam, is easy to access within the Pearson math application.
I really enjoyed how this class was self-paced. All the work is down through access Pearson. She provided extra help videos and extra credit to make your grade higher.
I can't speak to Professor Sweet personally as I was in an asynchronous class and only spoke to her once but she seemed nice. Course primarily used My Math Lab. I really liked the inclusion of discussion posts, extra videos, and extra credit. Though I did found the way her class was set up in Canvas a bit confusing and at times tedious.
Professor Sweet is knowledgeable and fair.
Clear & precise grading. She explains the material so you can understand. She enjoys class participation. Prof Sweet cares about each of the students. Although I was in her online class, she was available for questions, help, test. Write down questions you don't understand, she will go over them in class.
Great class. Very nice lady and very helpful
Ms. Sweet ensured that her students understood the lessons and that no student was afraid to ask questions! When grading, midterms, and finals were an important part of your grade. Overall, she is a great professor and i would recommend her to any student taking a math course!
Ms sweet was a great professor! She ensures all her students understood the lesson. When grading, midterms and finals are a huge part of your grade. Overall, Ms. Sweet is a great professor and i would recommend her to any students needing to take a math course!
Professor Sweet was the best decision I could have made in taking math for the time since high school. Participation was mandatory and the grading rubric and lessons were easily understood. Even though I made a C, Professor Sweet was amazing and for my next math course I shall choose her again. Fair grading and self-paced course through Pearson.
Mrs. Sweet is a great professor and I highly recommend for math classes. Help videos highly appreciated for content explanation. The makeup of your grade is clear cut as to what makes it up. Pace yourself and make sure you stay on schedule to succeed. Accommodating depending on your circumstance.
This was an asynchronous class and the course was primarily using My Math Lab. The midterm and final were worth a majority of your grade, like a big chunk of it. Professor Sweet provided extra credit. I recommend her if you need to take an online math class.
Professor Sweet answers emails back with in 24 hours and the class is heavily graded on test.
Very easy, just do the homework! She responds very quickly to emails. HW and quizzes are unlimited tries.
Professor Sweet really worked with me this semester. I was added to the class late due to facility error and she was the only professor to let me join her class late. She never took points off for late work and always sent reminders.
Topic in college was very tough but Ms. Sweet was so helpful even though I struggle with this course she helped me get through it. Best professor I ever had.
I have taken Statistics TWICE because I failed the first time miserably. This class was an easy grade! The course was easy to follow and all you need to do is take notes on every problem. Highly recommend her as a teacher.
Very good teacher and cares about you.
Lots of homework. Lectures are fast-paced so you will need to study on your own. Very kind and accommodating, she cares if you do.
Professor Sweet is such a diverse Professor when it comes to teaching, providing a relatable experience, and being able to apply what we learn into real life scenarios. I really appreciate Ms.Sweet for giving me an experience that I can forever take with me onto new journeys and situations.
This class requires a lot of work. I found it especially difficult because it was very easy to mix numbers up and make careless mistakes. Professor Sweet is caring, understanding, and quick to respond to emails.
Sharon Sweet teaches in a very traditional pen/paper style. Its really refreshing since most math classes rely on a learning software to teach the class. She's also very responsive to questions and really wants you to understand the material.
Ms. Sharon Sweet is a great teacher. She's all about respect and you just simply doing your work. Sweet loves sharing personal stories that happened in her life, but your free to tell her about yours. Conversations can be so good it takes some class time away. Don't expect class to be hard or difficult unless you make it that way!
I had many technical issues when completing the exams in the course but Professor Sweet worked with me to ensure I was able to complete my assignments. I would enjoy taking a class taught by her again!
I was very nervous about this class, there is a lot of work. You DO need to put in the time but the resources are there for you as is Professor Sweet. Its hard but that's just bc statistics isn't the easiest of things. Do the work, make the effort and you'll do good! Highly recommend this professor!
It's a difficult subject to learn but the Professor is very nice and provides videos that explain everything. She is also available outside of office hours which is great if you have a question about a quiz or homework. There were nine homeworks & quizzes, midterm, final, discussion, etc. I highly recommend this professor!
Professor Sweet is caring, understanding, and quick to respond to emails.
Ms.Sharon is a very kind and understanding professor. Her class requires attendance, and it's a great idea to participate in her lectures. She does go over the material relatively quick, however, the homework suffices for understanding the course material. The exams are similar to the homework.
Professor Sweet was a good professor overall, but her class does consist of a lot of work. She used Mymathlab for the majority of assignments There was a total of 10 quizzes/ test , and a midterm and a final. There is a little over 30 homework assignments all due at the end of course. She also assigns 3 discussion and Stat notebook.
Shes pretty good
She moves fast during lecture but it is easy to understand. She lays everything out for you and you have all the homework available to you from the first day. There are only 2 exams. She definitely wants everyone to understand and has no problem answering questions.
Professor Sweet was a fair and insightful professor. Her class offers work at your own pace but she also stays on a good schedule in terms of lectures and in-class instruction, if you keep up with it you will be ready to test by the end of the course. She is lenient where she can be but strict in the areas necessary for a passing grade.
Ms. Sweet is very understanding, and her class is laid back. The assignments had a feature that extended the due dates, so there was no pressure to do them. If you are someone who pushes things back when/if possible, then you might have difficulties in this course when time starts to run out. Even so the class isnt difficult so I reccomend it.
Mrs. Sweet is very knowledgeable in math and taught the course in traditional lectures where students write notes with examples. While the course can be difficult at times, she encourages students to practice the material and provides real-life examples. She is funny and makes jokes at times. Usually gives exit tickets, most are easy.
Professor Sweet is wonderful. Very flexible on homework. More than Fair grading practices. Assignments do take a lot of time to do so planning is key. If you miss a class you can review a recorded lecture online. Text book and assignments all online. The online program is easy to use. Always available for questions. She is a true blessing to FSCJ:)
Ms. Sweet was very nice and responsive. The class is fairly fast paced and can get very difficult if you don't pay attention and stay on top of your assignments weekly. She offers a lot of tips to help you stay on track of things and extra credit!
Professor Sweet is an outstanding math instructor who truly cares about student success. Her clear explanations and approachable demeanor make difficult concepts easy to understand. With engaging lectures and helpful office hours, Professor Sweet creates a supportive learning environment that fosters confidence and academic growth.
Prof Sweet is a good teacher. She returns emails in a timely manner, and is quite helpful.
This was my first time taking an online math class and was worried that it would be extremely difficult. I found Professor's Sweet's to be very educational, fun, and at your own pace. I would definitely recommend.
Just too much work
Statistics is not my strong suit so it was a tough class but Professor Sweet was great. She provided all the resources needed. She responded in a timely manner. I managed the class with taking 3 other courses and working full time so it is doable.
She is a very good teacher. She is also very kind. She goes over the stuff multiple times if needed. So, don't be afraid to ask her to go back and explain many times.
I am not understanding all of the rave reviews of this professor. I feel as though through videos and online problems, I have taught myself the material. If you feel like you can teach yourself the material at your own pace then take this course. If not, DO NOT take it.
Great teacher with good lectures, gives time to finish your homework and is patient with you! Would take again
Ms.Sharon wasn't bad at first but after a while my whole class noticed we will be teaching ourselves the material. I tried tutoring and I got a better understanding on the material than learning it from her. When she goes over material she reads it out loud and doesn't show the questions. So, you would basically have a notebook full of answers.
Ms. Sharon is a sweet lady but her teaching style isn't the best. It's hard to understand stuff as a visual learner when she says the questions out loud and expect us to tell her what something is. Everyone in my class have notebooks full of answers with no questions. The only extra credit is rate my professor leaving her a good review.
Awesome teacher. Had clear grading criteria and instruction on how the class was going to go in the syllabus.
Professor Sweet made math enjoyable for someone like me who doesn't care for math. I liked the discussion questions which helped you get familiar with your online classmates. The course was not too difficult and the online book was easy to follow along with videos.
Very good teacher has multiple videos for you to watch and understand the material. There is a lot of homework, but you have time to complete it all. She is very responsive if you need help or have questions.
Professor Sweet was so helpful! Very quick to reply and has great feedback, always ready to help students out. Tests are worth 70% of the grade, but she does give practice tests that are nearly identical to the real test and gives you 2 attempts at each test. Super helpful and wants to see students doing their best.
Professor Sweet did an amazing job with our 7-week course. It's a lot of information condensed into 7 weeks, but I think a lot could agree that everything was for student benefit. The course was put out for us students, in a professional and easy to navigate manner. Prof. Sweet goes out of her way even on the weekends to ensure we understand. :)
Professor Sweet's class is manageable, but can be a bit dry at times. The material is presented clearly, but you'll need to put in the effort to stay on top of it. Using unstuckstudy ai and other study tools helped me stay engaged and prepare effectively.
I took TOM fully online. Ms. Sweet's curriculum was clear & easy to follow - read the syllabus thoroughly when you get it. I printed mine to follow through the term. Proctored exams but she allows 2 attempts & there are plenty of concepts to practice on. She was also super speedy when I reached out with a question. I'd totally take her again!
This was my first time taking math fully online, professor Sweet was very attentive with any questions or concerns. Make sure to read the syllabus fully as it contains all information necessary to pass the class. The only thing I will say that was a bit tedious was the proctored tests, I took a fully online class to avoid having to schedule tests.
Professor Sweet communicates outstandingly. Her course is clear and to the point. Video lectures are super helpful with examples of how to perform the math problems. Even when doing course work it has a tab where an example is inputted. Amazing class.
The professor was always available when emailed. Her class was very put together, for a 7-week course, there was a lot of extra information given if you did not understand the lesson. Overall, I very much liked the professor.
Professor Sweet made this class extremely accessible for anyone that is super busy like me. She basically plans out the work you should be doing weekly and is very quick about grading papers. This was helpful because we are able to correct our mistakes on some things. I would definitely take a class from her again.
Despite the easy grade, I could not navigate the class and feel as if I have learned nothing - she is mostly laissez-faire. The class I took is a newer class and was all over the place - no organization at all. Ms. Sweet is a sweet teacher, I will give her that, but this class was NOT it. Do not recommend!
Professor Sweet is open to any questions at all times throughout the class which is nice especially if you are confused. She responds quickly to emails, and gives a couple of different extra credit opportunities. This class is pretty easy if you come to the classes, pay attention and do the work.
Professor Sweet is an outstanding instructor who brings clarity, kindness, and approachability to her teaching.
Professor Sweet is very kind and is understanding towards her students and their time, all assignments are open so you can work ahead of time. Her lectures are easy to understand and very open so you can ask questions if you need help.. She is also very accessible outside of class and she responds to emails quickly.
Topics in college mathematics is a new class, Professor Sweets is a great educator with a kind heart. As long as you show effort and persistence she is very willing to work with you. The class course was mainly through Pearson online assignments and then 2 major projects as a midterm and final which accounted for most of the grade.
She makes sure I understand a problem before moving on to the next.
She made sure I understand a problem before moving on to the next one.
The tests are make or break for grade, final most of all. Homework is mymathlab and a lot of time, expect 6-10 hours a week outside of class on this course and may need tutoring if not strong in algebra. Quizzes every day on previous class's lecture topic. She does not "pass students along" if they did not earn a passing grade.
Tests are make or break, expect 6-10 hours outside class spent on homework and studying per week. Tough class, may need tutoring if not adept in algebra. Trig heavy towards last few chapters.
The course has not been extremely difficult but it also hasn't been extremely easy, speaking as someone who struggles with math. An understanding of the lectures will benefit you but she does gofast, with that she also assists those who have questions, as long as you are interactive and dedicated you shouldn't do bad in taking this course with her.
I would not take her. This class has caused me a lot of anxiety from her lack of teaching and direction. Maybe it's just the MGF 1130 class but she's horrible. It was a full class of 20-25 from day one but ended up with 8 or 9 students at the end. I don't even like to leave reviews but i just had to.
Please take this professor! Professor Sweet is amazing. I have always struggled in math but when I took this class, it became easy to learn because of how Professor Sweet taught the material. She cares and listens to you about any questions you have. She responds to emails on the day you send them and gives many extra credit opportunities.
I can't recommend Professor Sweet enough. Despite math being a challenge for me, her patient and clear teaching style made the material easier to understand, and her emphasis on participation and attendance helped keep me engaged. I'd 100% take her class again, she's incredibly sweet, caring, and genuinely dedicated to her students' success.
If you need any help just ask her and she respond back whenever she gets a chance.
She gave us pop quizzes. Most of the actual work for this class was the homework and projects. She didn't really go over the material in the class, time was mostly spent working on projects.
Nice teacher & caring. The class is easy to pass she works with you and work is easy . She willnot let you fail. Just complete your work
She's a good professor. If you're actually willing to do the work and just learn, she work with you and help you out. Just stay persistent and keep doing what you have to do.
While math, particularly in an online course, can be an extremely challenging subject, I found Professor Sweet's use of the online interface to be helpful. Additionally, while I personally struggled with the content, she offered advice and strategies to help me succeed, including retakes for the midterm & finals that helped immensely.
Professor Sweet was easy to learn from. She answered in a timely fashion and math isnt my strong suit so the extra credit was helpful.
Excellent professor, always encourage her students to improve their abilities. She also put her student in a very Friendly Environment.
I love Professor Sweet! She was always eager to help, consistently responded to emails quickly, and took the time to explain everything I needed to know with great enthusiasm. I will definitely take classes with her again and again.
I love Professor Sweet. From the beginning of the semester, she showed a genuine eagerness to assist me, always making herself available for questions. During office hours or through email, she always responded promptly, often within just a few hours. Her dedication to teaching and her commitment made a difference in my learning experience.
If you take her class once, you will want to take every math class she teaches!
Ms.Sweet is an amazing professor. If you struggle with math, I would strongly recommend getting her to be your professor. I probably would have had an A in her class if I put more effort in, but If you go to her class, you will know everything you need to know to get a good grade.
She was overall a great teacher and was very understanding of you asking questions if you didn't understand something. She actually taught her work and let you work at your own pace on assignments. I definitely recommend!
I would take another class with Professor Sweet. She's timely with her responses to emails and her course information, announcements, and syllabus all contain the information we need.
The Teacher was straight forward on what was required and replied to any questions I had.
All assignments are online, she answers emails really quick. I would definitely take this professor again.
Great teacher. She is attentive and would help if you have any question. She does reviews for the test so you can be prepare. Have opportunities for extra credit.
She's good and easygoing. Just make sure to study and do the homework to do well in the class.
Recommended you take her. Professor Sweet cares for your success.
Professor Sweet's class was not too difficult; just make sure you put in the work. Tests are proctored and weigh a lot. Also, attendance is mandatory. Overall, she is nice and gives a chance for extra credit.
Had no issues with professor Sweet. She explained the material clearly showing multiple ways to do certain formulas to make it easier for people to learn. Also very patient when you're not understanding a topic, feel free to ask as many questions as you want.
Great professor, she taught everything in multiple formats so everyone could understand it and be better prepared. She was also very open to questions and would explain things as often as possible to ensure you understood. She also provided notes, which were suitable for preparing for the tests.
She is very respectful and helpful
Very helpful and respectful
She is very helpful
Professor Sweet is such an amazing professor. She is very helpful and actually cares about her students making it a priority to make sure every student understands and participate. Attend the lectures and get ready to take notes so it will be easier to prepare for quizzes and tests.
She teaches really well and makes everyone feel included in the lecture. When she teaches, she goes over questions from each chapter and breaks it down, and it is very helpful.
Take all her classes she is the best
I enjoyed the class.. I struggled a little, but Professor Sweet was always available to help and even gave students her notes at the end of class!!
She was a great professor, was there if you needed help, and made sure you understood when you were lost. All the work is online, and you are able to self-pace yourself with the assignments. Great class overall.
She is a great professor, helps you out when needed and always willing to give an extra hand if you don't understand the work. The work is self-pasted and easy to keep up with if you do it by lesson.
I was scared of an all online math class, but it was great. her syllabus was so organized that you couldn't miss what was due each week. she gives you opportunities to retake test only 2 proctored exams midterm and final. I took a 7 week course it was a lot of work but it's so doable. she responds to all emails even 1am she responded to me 10/10
Professor Sweet is a wonderful professor. I highly recommend registering for her class. She answers emails in a timely manner and offers retakes on exams if needed. She also has all the work sectioned out in weeks and provides extra worksheets to help you understand the materials.
This was a challenging class as math is not my strong suit. Working at my own pace was great but all needs to be turned in on time. There was a lot of homework but then again it was a 7 week class instead of 12 or 15. Was definitely overwhelming at times. Professor was very nice and great communication. Professor was helpful where it was needed.
Fantastic teacher, its online so you can work at your own pace, proctored exams but there are only 2. a mid term and a final exam. if you do the work you can pass the class, she also gives a good amount of chances to get extra credit. take her class, you wont regret it.
As quick as the class was (Summer Term) I had fun learning from her. Homework was easy, and although testing was proctored in a testing area instead of her classroom, everything was pretty straight forward. One of the best mathematics teacher I had.
I really liked her teaching style, very informative and kind to her students.
The professor was okay, she's caring and does give out extra credit towards the end of the course.
I don't have any real complaints. I took this class online, so videos and notes were provided. I won't say this class is easy for us "Non-Mathers," but everything you need is accessible. You just need to have the discipline to self-teach to the best of your ability.
This was a good class, just make sure to pay attention to the recordings and actually study.
She's really old and with that comes with a lot of personal challenges for her. She is civil and tries to be helpful but does not take accountability for her mistakes and has a hard time using technology. She is also very frail, dealing with some sort of chronic pain and gets sick easily so it's hard to know when she's in her office.
Professor sweet is very nice and willing to help if you need. What you put into the class is what you get, I thoroughly enjoyed her class!
I'm taking a 7-week class so workload is kinda heavy but nothing too bad. Self-paced but she gives out a schedule that helps keep track of completing assignments in a timely matter, which helped me A LOT.
Very helpful and provides opportunities for retakes and extra credit
Very easy professor to work with, constantly provides updates while also staying on top of grades. Helped give the clearest resources in order for her students to succeed.
Professor Sweet is incredibly patient and always accessible for questions or help. She explains concepts clearly and makes herself available to support students whenever needed. Overall, a great professor who genuinely cares about her students' success!
She's a great Professor, reponds 24-48 hours of messages sent. Get the work done as early as you can, there is no "making up" not HW or quizzes. I do like that we get 2 attempts at the Midterm and Final Exam. Overall I would take again.
Had Mrs. Sweet this pass semester for C7 was very fast pace so make sure you're understanding your homework, there were 2 heavily weighted exams mid therm and final exam, does weight more than half your grade. But it was on Pearson and she gave us more than enough time to study and the practice exams were helpful, would take again
Ms. Sweet is a great professor! She helped me learn more about statistics so much. Her lectures and her notes were very informative. Take her class!!!
Amazing teacher and the system that was brought to use was amazing. As I struggle with ADHD the visual videos were nice to have as well.
Great feedback and support would recommend any student to have her as a professor!
helps you understands and gives you a chance to work problems out when your having a tough time i would most definitely take Ms. Sweet class again.
Extra credit opportunities.
If you struggle with math, take her class! I have learning disabilities and usually can't understand math, but her videos make it click. She explains everything clearly and step by step. There's a lot of homework, but that's just because the course is short, not her fault.
She was nice , lectures fast however ask if any questions. Not extra on attendance or leaving early
She is very nice and and she takes the time to help you when you have questions
Very respectful and takes note of your time and effort. Her teaching is thorough and clear, and she always makes sure you're keeping up. Always hands out her notes at the end of class so that peers can share it around. Recommends help when she sees you need it and walks you through each step cautiously. Overall, great professor!
Overall a really good teacher. She is never hesitant to help you with whatever you need and she will 100% go over extra problems in class to better your understanding in a topic. You can also tell that she genuinely cares every class.
She's very helpful
This class was fairly easy and professor Sharon is on point and very direct, I took the algebra online class and had no issues. It was easy and if you're looking for a relaxed class where you also learn many new things, give hers a try.
Professor Sweet created a good learning rubric for intermediate algebra and the pace at which she assigned work via the syllabus made it easy to follow along and not get behind. The last couple of weeks were a little tough for me to comprehend all of the subjects but overall I feel more confident for College Algebra.
The best! Will work with you. my 3rd time taking one of her math classes! Highly recommend.
The test took too much of the grade percentages. I finished over 70 assignments and still receive a bad rate overall just due to not doing great on the test. teacher was absent a lot and not able to teach her full potential..
She's very responsive. Midterms and final exams are heavy weighted grades. Completion of homework and test with good grades won't matter if you aren't a test taker because the exams will make or break your grade. She's as helpful as she can be because every student is different. As for me I wouldn't retake this class with her.
