Ms. Ziadeh is a awesome instructor. She teaches very well and she elaborates on the material. I was enrolled in her Bio-141 class for summer of 2007. Her notes are on powerpoint. Her tests are pretty simple, however, the tests can be tricky sometimes. Overall, she is a fabulous teacher!! I would recommend her to other students.

She is an awesome teacher. Text book isn't worth buying b/c she uses downloadable powerpoints and makes the test/exams off of it. If you don't understand something, she will repeat it. I knew nothing about biology and crammed instead of studying days before and still got a B and I took this Summer 08' which means 3 hours classes. Bonus Q's are hard

I took her June 08', those 3 hour classes were long! She is an awesome person, she will explain it if you ask her to during and after class. Ask for bonus questions and she'll provide them lol I reminded her all the time. Study and you will do well, I crammed on the day before every test and got a B. Oh & she doesnt do favortism....I tried lol

She is a great teacher. All her tests come from the power points she lectures from. You don't need the text book at all. She gives activities and practice quizes on blackboard and uses some of those questions on the test. I had her for Bio 101 and 102 and she really made it easy to learn. I would suggest going to her class but may not be mandatory.

Ms. Z is a great teacher. Her teaching style is straight up: you come to class, she lectures with a powerpoint, in a week or so you take a test. She also drops your lowest test grade at the end of the semester. Also she's really sweet and allows for make-up tests and extra credit.

I had a good class. I didn't buy a textbook but I did print out the powerpoint notes. Don't stress over the amount of material and just study the lecture notes.

Ms Z is nice and helpful. Most questions come from her powerpoints. As for having to come to campus for tests, it is a requirement for all delgado math and science classes, and it was clearly stated in the syllabus. You do have the option of arranging an offsite proctor though.

Very nice teacher!Doesn't seem to directly answer questions but instead gets you to think.(answers them eventually) She cares about her students. I took her for Gen Biology 1 for non sci. majors and I found the material to be a bit difficult.But it's not because of her teaching. I studied what she outlined and made an A. Not easy just requires work

the class was easy. come to class take the notes and use the outline from the study guide to pass her class. its just that easy. no book is needed but you do need the code to do the online work.

She's good, gives you study guides and will answer you questions

ms z got a bad rap, I find her class fairly easy, pay attention, study, and pass, easy.

Miss ziadeh is a GREAT TEACHER. She gives you the material, if you take it and study, you'll pass, she's the only reason I passed my biology class and she's very helpful, can't speak for anyone else, she can be vague on directions occasionally, but she's the teacher who will really help you learn the material.

After reading the review I was skeptical on taking Ms. Z but I got an A in the lab. If you study the material she gives, you'll get an A. She can be confusing at time but just ask questions and she'll clear it up. She's very passionate. This class helped me in my bio lecture! Take her, but be prepared to study.

She is a good teacher. I was kinda scared to take her after I read the reviews here but it turned out that she's nice! There are a lot of tests but they are not as hard as I've expected every time. Just ask her questions and go through her power points before every test!

I highly recommend Ms. Ziadeh to those who are looking for an online biology class. All of the test questions are covered by her study guides and powerpoints, you have bonus opportunities, and she has everything structured so well that I'm really learning the material. And she's always available during her office hours in person, or through email.

Excellent professor. Very thorough, but lecture heavy. Show up and you'll pass. She gives you access to everything you need for tests and homework. Just pay attention and you'll do well.

Class is an Easy A if you show up & study. (I studied probably only an hour for each test if that helps) Tests & exam come off the study guides, but she adds a few random questions testing our understanding of the chapter as well. Be prepared for ALOT of note-taking.

Professor Ziadeh is a good teacher. Yes, there's a lot of homework, but it's helpful for the tests. The tests come strictly from her PowerPoint. This makes it extremely easy to pass her tests. All you have to do is study. She does not give out grades. You have to earn it. But, if you want the grade, it is achievable. Take her. I'm glad I did :)

I am in no way shape or form an A+ student. I mostly get very low B's or High C's and I got a 99.4% in this class. She is super bubbly and very helpful when you ask questions and truly teaches the material without trying to trick you. I loved her bio lab class and would definitely take her again!!

Ms. Ziadeh is super helpful when it comes to understanding biology. I literally used to SUCK at biology and was terrified to have to take it this semester and she has helped me so much. Her lectures are very clear and easy to understand. Lets you record her test review to ensure you are studying correct info. 10/10 recommend

If you put in the work, you'll pass. I didn't find it very hard if you study an hour a day and did the homework that you're assigned. She gives you plenty of opportunities to make up your grade, you just have to put in the work. I went into this class thinking she would be terrible from these reviews, but it's really up to you if you want to work

Some of these comments scared me before taking this class but it wasn't that hard, I got a 100. I would recommend her online class.

I took Ziadeh for the summer semester. She was very clear on her grading criteria. I just knew I was going to fail this class. I had a C for midterms and for my final grade I bumped it up to a B. I believe all the extra credit she gave saved me! If you really try she will help you. You arent allowed to make up quizzes but she does drop the lowest

I loved her. She is quirky and a great teacher. She does get a little off-topic at times but answers any questions you may have. This was my second time taking this class and I finished with an A. She gave us lecture guides that her test was based on. If you studied the lecture guide and turned in your homework you'd do fine.

She provides you with digital copies of her notes, and study guides for each chapter. During her lecture she'll note if a difficult concept will be on the test. Homework is due before tests, so you have plenty of time to do it. She's very nice and accommodating, you just need to communicate with her.

It's definitely a lot of work but as long as you keep up and don't save things for the last second it's fine. She's willing to work with students who struggle. Study her study questions and you'll do fine on the tests.

She isn't that bad. I was scared at first because I don't typically take teachers with a rating under 4. Attendance is important. She provides material to study and that was enough for me. Just go over the material she provides and that'll be exactly what's on the test questions. Also, if she notices you are trying then you will pass.

Not sure how she has all of these negative reviews but I would take her for every one of my biology courses. She is very knowledgeable and wants you to understand the content. Study to fully understand the content, do not try to memorize....her test questions require you to apply your knowledge. Visit her office, she goes above and beyond!

Her labs are interactive and she will actually review the lab test with the class before your test, but only if you request it. She gives excellent tools to study outside of the classroom and please visit with her at her office. She will do anything to help you learn and set you up for success. She is a an understanding teacher, but you must work.

I took this class for a summer course. Dr.Z made the class so fun and interesting. What made me love her class the most is how enthusiastic she was about teaching. Attendance is a must. Her notes are VERY important. I believe my grade could have been better but I just started a new job and was off track.

She is super helpful with the bonus points and if you want to pass you will have to memorize and study all the material she tells you to! The lecture guide she gives was so helpful i would definitely take her again.

Ms.Z was a great teacher. I enjoyed her this semester. I feel like if you fail her class you did not go to class or communicate with her. She's very helpful especially when it comes to the test!!
