All you have to do is show up to class and take notes (which he goes step-by-step), do the homework, and the way he teaches, you don't have anything to worry about on the tests. I took a fast track class. 0304 and 0350. DON'T do this unless you are super good at math! I made myself sick and did nothing but study and stress. He is a good teacher but the class just goes SO FAST! Was in the math lab for extra help ALL the time. He doesn't have time to help much but tries as much as possible to help during class. VERY HARD!!!

Took him for 1314. He used everyday examples in life to make it easy to understand. As long as you make an effort he will help you. We worked on functions most of the time. I recommend taking him.

If you're horrible at math or haven't done it in forever, he will probably save your life. But for me, it was a little bit too slow and dumbed down to where i got annoyed and stopped coming to class! He is my favorite Math teacher at TCC. I'm not bad at Math, he taught slow, I believe all students can understand and make an easy A. In this class, we need text book and access code to do homework. Textbook help you a lot in the homework. I got an A in his class, I would take him again if he teach the MATH-1325, but he is not, I'm really sad.

I have taken Perry for all my math courses and he loves to teach math he would explain everything so you can understand he gives HW but it benefits you when it comes to the test and also gives reviews do the review because some of the questions are on the test and he just changes the number from the test I would recommend him to anybody :)

I took math emporium with him; all your work and lectures are online and Mr. Perry and two students go around and assist you with questions. Tests are taken in MTC including pre-tests and an additional 1 hour per week is required in MRC outside class hours. If your taking classes at SE campus and live close, you can't go wrong with Mr. Perry.

We only need the access code. The class was easy and he explained everything well. There was weekly homework that was online and a few in class test, which he provided reviews for. If you understand algebra and/or do the reviews to study you should pass this class. You can re-due the homework problems to get a 100.

Perry is one of the best teachers that I have ever had. He gives out packets for EVERYTHING and even uploads them with his written notes on Blackboard if you miss a class. This class was my favorite class this semester. The tests were extremely easy because he gives out GREAT reviews. He is also very sweet! I highly recommend taking him!!

I attended this semester for MATH 1324 and very happy that I chose right. Easy A for me, because his lecture is easy to understand, and he's very clear in teaching. I will find his class in the future if I need any MATH class. No need textbook, but MyMathLab.

He is very nice this class was online and taught using the Aleks program, Just keep up with weekly work. He grades you on reaching the weekly percentage, and requires you to stay in the math lab for one hour each week. The aleks program can be tricky because of the knowlege checks that pop up randomly as you work. Just stay on task.

Quizzes over chapters, test is just like review just different numbers. Hw is done on mymathlab

I have never in my WHOLE LIFE understood math.. I HATE MATH, i always fail it and i always end up getting everything wrong even if I understand it. But for the FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE, I am getting an A in his class!!!! He is amazing!!!! He is the first math teacher I have met that not only knows math but more importantly knows HOW TO TEACH MATH!.

I have taken 0361 SE Campus in Professor Perry. No book needed. He does give out notes, lesson worksheet to practice. If you have taken Alek or ConnectMath last semester, it can become free. Wait till you get to his class before purchasing anything. Gave us only one Quiz. He requires hour MRC for the week. Pass his class with B.

Really great professor! He explains the work very well and quizzes and tests are over exactly what is covered in class, so try to make it to each class.

Didn't use a textbook but had to buy a access code. Is really cool! There is a sign in sheet he passes around in the middle of class that is how he takes attendance but if you are absent all you have to do is email him when you are going to be absent and he will put excused.

at first i attended class everyday until i found out he posted his notes online. Since i was comfortable with math i was able to learn the notes at home on my own and only showed up for the quizzes and tests. I have always failed at math and struggled with it. I took this proffesor for 361 and 362 and HE IS AWESOME! He explains the equations to where anyone can understand the topics. He is very nice and will help you with any questions. Passed smoothly! Do the work, show up, study and you will be fine. Will be taking him for college algebra.

Lets put it like this, math has never been my stronghold. Ive literally failed every math class Ive ever taken till I took Stats with Professor Perry. He explains the material so well and thoroughly that come test day, you know exactly what you are doing. And incredibly I actually learned statistics. I highly recommend taking Professor Perry.

best math teacher/ professor. would recommend if you are taking stats and don't know how you will do. his test are EXACTLY like his reviews but you still need to know how to do it because you have to show work. he gives detailed instructions on how to solve a problem and is open to questions. I finished with a 95...p.s. I lived in the math lab.

if you are used to AP style or used to even preAP style and speed, i wouldnt take him. i like him, he was really nice, and explains things really really well for those who struggle, but those who are used to a faster pace would be bored in this class, like i was. nothing against him, i was just bored a lot

Mr. Perry is great at explaining confusing concepts. His notes, packets, and test reviews help so much. Keep up with the online homework and study the test reviews and you'll do great. He takes his time and does not rush over anything. Also after quizzes are graded, he gives out the key which helps you look back at concepts you missed.

Whether you're good or bad at math this professor makes it super easy and clear! I have never been the best with any sort of math, but didn't get one test below an 89.
