Dr. Danesh was an awesome Micro teacher! Took him during summer semester & it was his 1st time teaching. Made learning fun and interesting. Offered bonus ?'s on exams and extra credit papers.

Dr. Danesh is amazing. He really cares that we understood all the material. He made learning fun, and always had a great attitude (including wearing fun science t-shirts!) He has a PhD in Genetics, and is a REAL working scientist, so it was amazing to have him as a Lab instructor also. Took him for Micro Summer 2012. He's the best!

Great professor that really cares. Took him this summer and got an A but it was definitely some work. Ya he is great at teaching and super helpful in labs but the tests can be really specific and hard. He gives you lecture notes for each chapter that you MUST memorize to do well on the test. There is a ton to memorize but work hard and you got it!

Hard class but an A is definitely possible. He is a super nice guy and not intimidating. He connects everything to real life because he ACTUALLY does research on this stuff. Don't need the textbook. Attendance not mandatory cuz he gives you lecture notes that the tests come straight off of. Take him before his class gets full you wont regret it.

Super easy C. semi-Easy B. Somewhat hard A. So much material to memorize. Very nice guy though. Do not think this will be a blow off class. He makes everything very interesting though. Better than any other micro prof im sure.

Professor Danesh was a really great professor who cared about his students success. He gave a pretty good amount of extra credit and wanted to make sure we understood the material. Just make sure you study his slides inside and out and you will do fine in his class. It is no easy class but if you study and work hard you will get what you deserve.

Best Science Teacher Ever, No scince class is easy, but he is really resonable, if he sees your effort, he will help you. Good extra credit and different ways to improve your grade. Every single question on test come from his slides and he proved it to us. TAKE HIM!!!! TAKE HIM!!!

Professor Danesh is the best science professor I've had at Richland. I've learned so much from him plus he wants his students to succeed. To achieve an A, you must attend lecture and study the slides/notes.

AWESOME professor. One of the best I have had so far. I wouldn't say his class is easy but he is extremely clear in his lectures and has a gift of being able to explain the most difficult concepts in the most simple and understandable way. Attendance is not mandatory but if you don't go you miss out on in class bonus assignments. His PP slides have everything that will be on the test. Book wasn't necessary. Took him Summer 1, fairly easy class. Very helpful, answers questions and gives extra credit opportunities. Great prof, wish he taught other Science courses.

This teacher is one of the greatest in this college. I feel very privileged to have taken his class. It is a very hard class and you do need to study a lot, but with his help and and the awesome ways he has to teach, you will pass for sure. Mr. Danesh is a great teacher that really does care about his students. If you show up to all the classes including lab, you can pass his class. He does all his test on the lecture notes so if you have the lecture notes already printed out before class you will be ok. Just pay attention to everything he says and you can pass the class.

Pros: Really nice guy. Will help if you go to him and ask. No surprises on exams-from lecture notes and lenient grader on short answers. Cons: Takes forever to grade. An airhead when he's trying to explain concepts. Forgets what he told you and puts ?s on things that were never taught (doesn't count it if you tell him). Lack of direction in lab.

Professor Danesh is one of the best professors I've had. I had taken this class previously under other professors and never really got it. He makes things so easy to understand and genuinely cares about his students. Show up to classes, do your work, and talk to him if your aren't doing as well as you would like. He's very helpful & understanding.

He is very nice and a very good teacher, his tests are just very hard. They are a mix of short answer, multiple choice, matching, true false, and fill in the blank. This class is TOUGH, the lab practicals are very challenging. Making even a C will require a lot of effort, but if he sees that you're trying, you will not fail. An A or B is nocakewalk

He is a nice guy at the end of the day, but will not curve grades. Gives bonus points on test. Only one extra credit for 10 points its easy. Don't count attendance.

Love that he gives notes for his lectures and his test are over his lectures so there will be no serpises. And yes test are tough but if you study you should be good.

Professor Danesh is my type of instructor who breaks down hard and difficult concepts into pieces that make them fun, understandable, and memorable. I admire professor Danesh as he really loves the subject of science and also loves teaching it. He lectures based off his notes not the book, so he has great knowledge on the subject. I didn't really follow along his lectures but he really tries his best. It just takes the right student to connect with his lectures. Textbook needed for access code.

Danesh is a great professor. Tests are multiple choice but worded to confuse you, must know material well. Everything you need to know is on the slides. He gives a lot of extra credit. Very clear explanations and really tries to make the subject interesting. Very willing to help in anyway he can.

I honestly admire his lectures. He is a science enthusiast, very knowledgeable and inspiring. I frankly commend him for his knowledge of the subject and his ability and passion to great explanations. His exams are difficult. Not only needs thorough studying but also careful & critical analysis of the questions. Very tricky! Did not get an easy B.

Dr. Danesh has been by far one of the best professor at Richland. He is very easy to understand and is willing to clear up any confusions. I have a high B in his class and is only because his test are very detailed and I did not have enough time to study for them. He makes his test straight from the power points. He's so far my most favourite Biol Prof. Not only knowledgable, but also accessible after class he is. His lecture is informative and interesting as always. I made B coz Micro is tough, but I really enjoyed his teaching. Would highly recommend him. You cant find any others that is easy to seek for answers as he is.

Best biology professor ever, makes microbiology as easy as possible, he is easy going and easy to talk to.... everything about this class is easy.

Doctor Danesh is a very cool guy, he is motivating and not only lectures us to where we can understand but also gives good advice on studying/career/life, I took the summer class and it was hard, but he gives extra credit opportunities, he wants you to truly understand the concepts, study the slides REALLY thoroughly!

Getting an A in his class makes you put a lot of effort to study. No test reveiw. All you can do is learning everything from PowerPoint. However, he gives us a lot of extra credits. Professor is really intelligent and caring. The only thing I hate is a lot of students cheating in his class, and he seems like he doesn't care about it.

His lectures are based on PowerPoints, and if you use those to study for your test you will pass; be aware that his tests are not easy, nor hard either, just study for it. I just finished taking Dr. Danesh for Microbiology 2420, and I have to say BEST CLASS EVER. Professor Danesh is very educated on the topic, and knows the material is difficult and will kindly answer any questions. If you study for his lecture exams you will be fine, use his powerpoints. I will miss this class!

I can say with all honesty that I will miss taking his Microbiology 2420 class. He knows what he is talking about and goes into detail and even includes funny ways to remember everything. To pass this class you just have to listen and look at the powerpoints that he provides. Also for lab actually pay attention to what you're doing.

I took his 1406 class and I am going to miss going. Great professor. Print the PowerPoints and tests are a bit tricky but all from PowerPoints. Quiz almost every week but pretty easy. Labs were fun and he will not hesitate to repeat himself if you dont understand. He cares for his students. He also curves grades at end of semester. A+ class.

Professor Danesh was great! Pay attention to the lectures and Power Points. He is good at explaining the material and putting it in a way that makes sense. I was actually pretty sad when this class ended. I definitely recommend Professor Danesh!

I actually grew to like Biology for the first time. Very chilled, he gives extra credits on every tests taken (there are 5 of them, but I get to skip the final since he said he would raise the lowest test grade to the highest), lab quizzes every week but worry not, he sometimes includes EC in those quizzes too.

I loved Dr. Danesh's class and teaching style. You can tell he cares about what he is teaching and wants to connect with his class, too. His lectures were great and the labs were interesting. He has a life outside of school and so he kept classes progressing, but made sure we were completed with lab with a bit of time to spare. AWESOME PROFESSOR

Dr. Danesh is by far the best professor I have had since coming back to school 2 years ago. I was never a big fan of biology and was dreading microbiology. He made is so interesting during the lectures and gave the best reviews before exams. What he says is on the test, is what it on the test. He also gives awesome practical reviews!

Professor Danesh made Biology so much more enjoyable than previous science classes I've taken. Make sure and come to class and take notes and you will do well. He makes it clear what you need to study, he's lighthearted, and obviously knows his stuff. This 5 week course was not easy, but he definitely made it more bearable.

AMAZING!!!!!! Dr. Danesh is amazing i took this class in 5 weeks it was a lot to take in but he made the lecture fun, understanding showed videos he's a very patient teacher answers any questions you have all test come from the lecture slides lab quizzes come from what you do in the lab very fair i didn't miss a class due to the fact that its bio.

This was a hybrid class and he was so awesome! I wished he taught 1407 so I could take him. He gives you lots of extra credit to help you out and he has an awesome youtube channel to help you study. He makes you love biology and makes class so much fun.

Dr. Danesh was easily the best teacher I've had. He is very caring and understanding and clearly passionate about Biology. The materials he posted for our online lecture were very clear, all of the exam material comes from his lecture PDF handouts and he also posts exam reviews of all the material you should know. I wish he taught A&P!

If you're looking for a Biology professor, he's the best one! He has a PowerPoint and lecture video for every chapter and he even has 2 for some. They're so helpful! He will do whatever he can to make sure you do amazing in his class. He even has a YouTube channel where he explains everything and even though it's an online class, it feels so real!

He loves microbiology and his lectures reflect it. Hes super interesting to listen to. I really enjoyed it and had fun. Not homework heavy. Im good at science and this built on the other classes Ive taken. Im surprised that anyone could find this class difficult if they did well in Biol1401. I love how much I actually learned, Im amazed

Dr. D is by far the best professor I have taken. He Really cares for his students and makes sure everyone has understood the topic. His lectures and PPTs are easy to follow along. My favorite part about his class was during his free time he made YouTube videos for us to better understand certain topics. I 100% recommend taking him. Best prof ever!!

Dr D really loves his job and puts in so much effort. He is amazing! I missed a test and he was awesome enough to let me take it a day late. He really cares about his students. His YouTube videos are so awesome and informative. If you take notes and do the reviews youll pass his tests. I would take his class again in a heartbeat!

For an online class this class was amazing! He truly wants each student to understand the material. His tests are honestly everything he covers in his exam review videos. I like the fact he has a youtube for his lectures. I can always go back and look. The assignments and tests are not too much as long as you watch the videos.

Dr. D was fantastic, he makes sure everyone understands the material, and he has a YouTube channel to help understand further. He also understands the subject well enough to make a different method of teaching cellular respiration that made it way easier to understand. You can definitely get an A in this class if you put in the work. His exams are based on the powerpoints used in lectures and he has videos of said lectures and exam reviews on his youtube channel. You can also find videos that explain the processes discussed in lecture. Attendance for lab is mandatory because there are lab quizzes every week.
